Reviews of Acacia Springs

With dads previous Independent place closing down, he was offered a place at Acacia Springs. The staff went beyond service, to assist him move and get set up! Everyone is so friendly and helpful.
My 91 year old pop is now thriving in this community. Staff know him by name, and their is always someone who can assist with dads questions. He is getting exercise and is eating so much better. He loves his dessert.
There is a real community at Acacia. There are many activities, the bus drivers are caring and helpful , when dad goes for his appointments.
With me living in Canada , I am grateful to know that he is well looked after. All the staff are amazing.Thank you. This is the best home for dad to be in. Don’t hesitate to place a parent or friend at Acacia Springs.

My father recently became a resident at Acacia Springs and we couldn't be happier with the experience so far. The staff has been very welcoming and have done a great job helping my father get settled in. Along with that the other residents have been extremely friendly which has helped with the transition. We both are very happy with the decision and I'd recommend Acacia Springs to anyone considering independent or assisted living facilities for a loved one.

After her husband passed, my aunt Nora was very sad and lonely and was also finding it difficult to take care of her home. She was overwhelmed with emotions and the physical task of packing, selling and moving. We visited several independent and assisted living facilities and apartments. Most of the ones we found were unappealing to her for varying reasons. My aunt was so sad and anxious about living in an "institutional" setting.
We were losing hope, until one day right before Thanksgiving 2021 when we visited Acacia Springs. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, I knew we had found my aunt's new home. It was beautiful, very clean and seemed a bit like a grand hotel. As we toured the facility, our excitement grew. Along the tour, we met many friendly people, both residents and staff. At one point, we both looked at each other and said, "Is this for real?" and "It feels like an all-inclusive resort!"
She moved in the first week of the new year. I was concerned that my aunt would spend too much time alone in her apartment, but she’s been so busy attending social events such as classes, parties and outings. And though she has a kitchen in her apartment, she says she eats all her meals in the dining room because the food it great and she’s made so many new friends. She also receives lots of care and attention from the staff. It has been two and a half months since Aunt Nora moved into her new home and she is happier than either of us could have imagined!

Acacia Springs is a wonderful place to live! My Uncle has lived there for years. He loves it!! He is always busy with different activities and has made many friends. The team is friendly and helpful. He was at another community and would just sit in the chair all day, now he always has a smile on his face!! This is a wonderful place for your loved one to reside and know they are loved and cared for!!

A PERFECT PLACE
Mom & I had toured many Independent Living places. However, during our tour of Acacia Springs, Stacey showed us their activities center where a fun game of corn hole was taking place. Mom's eyes lit up. She walked right past Stacey, entered the room, and stood next to a player as if she was going to play next. They even sparked up a short conversation. It was at that moment I knew this was the place for her. Two weeks later my parents moved in (Dad listens to Mom, hehe). All the residents are super friendly and happy. My parents made three friends on their first day. One resident who stopped by to welcome them said she's been there 5 yrs and loves it. That certainly made me feel good. I knew they would be happy in their new home. Something else I love is Acacia Springs sets new residents up with an established resident to help them out. With the multitude of activities each day, this is a great bonus. Mom already has plans with her new friends.
There are many Independent Living places in Las Vegas. They all have similar services and activities, but what makes a place great are the people. Acacia Springs has an amazing, awesome, and caring staff. Their sales team, Stacey & Cathy, are top notch. The two of them, as well as the rest of the staff, have gone above and beyond to welcome my parents. Acacia Springs is truly a great place.

My parents have been members of the Acacia Springs community for over a year now. We have had both the experience of independent living and assisted living. In each case the facility has provided top shelf service and care for my parents. In assisted-living it is especially important that the caregivers are professional and motivated. Acacia Springs and the staff succeed in this endeavor and have become members of our family. My family is grateful to have this high-quality opportunity available to us in Las Vegas.

Acacia Springs is such a great place! My grandma is a resident here and she truly enjoys it. She has made a lot of friends and participates in a lot of their activities. The staff is very caring and attentive to my grandmother's needs. I recommend Acacia Springs to anyone looking for a facility for their loved one.

My grandma has been here 2 years years now and she absolutely loves it and feels very comfortable there . She always has something to keep her busy. This place is doing an excellent job protecting and keeping her safe during this COVID-19 situation. The staff is very responsive And helpful . I feel like they truly care about their residents. Can’t forget to mention how beautiful it is ! I feel like I can truly trust Acacia with her health and care.

Because of sudden medical issues, we needed to make the decision to place our parents in an assisted living facility. We were highly motivated to make sure that they would receive the best care possible in a family-like setting. After much research, we found just what we needed at Acacia Springs. The staff is inviting, caring and like family to our parents. The RN who heads up the assisted living operation has been very responsive to our questions and concerns and has made sure we are informed as things come up. The peace of mind we have felt since getting our parents settled has been priceless!

Our dad, Frank Costa, has lived at Acacia Springs for ten years. He recently turned 103 and we believe it is due in large part to the fantastic care and social connections he has made there. Acacia is home to him.
All of the staff, from the front desk to the kitchen, to the aids and the management are all a part of his family. He initially moved in with our mom as they had difficulty taking care of their daily needs (cooking, house cleaning, etc.). We were so grateful that they made that decision. When she passed away several years ago, being settled in at Acacia made that transition much better for him. He was surrounded by loving friends and staff and didn't feel alone.
The staff listens to the resident's concerns and addresses them promptly, making them feel heard and respected.
The way they handled the pandemic was second to none. They followed all protocols while trying to keep the resident's spirits up during lockdown. This kept him safe and Covid-free.
We initially looked at a number of assisted living facilities and Acacia Springs was far superior in appearance, cleanliness, quality and atmosphere.
We, as a family, have developed relationships with the staff which is comforting as we live in another state. It brings us peace to know that he is so well taken care of.
We highly recommend Acacia Springs.

I cannot articulate how impressed I am with the care and attention that’s given to the residents on the Oasis side. Robin and her team are AMAZING. They truly care about the residents and go over and beyond to ensure they are taken care of. Acacia Springs is lucky to have Robin and her team. I would recommend my family and friends to this beautiful community.

My father has lived at Acacia Springs for the last 10 years. He has thrived living here due to the many friends he has made, the great care he has received and all the activities that have been available to him. The staff is always available, courteous, supportive, professional, and provide for any and all needs for my father and our family. The facilities are very clean and the food is very good which are extremely important. Overall we could not ask for a better place for our father to ensure he is comfortable and has all his needs taken care of.
(Note: the name on this review is father’s as I couldn’t change it.)

My mother lived here for a few years, first on the independent side, then as her Parkinson's worsened, she effortless tranfered to the assisted living side. It is great that they have both living situations in one facility and the residents/ staff interact with each other, so the move is not another traumatic change for them. My mother passed away a year ago, yet I still keep in touch with some of her friends children... My mother would tell everyone," I feel like I am living on a cruise ship with all the activities/ entertainment there is to do...' "I mentioned to Hoden that I missed the opera, and to my amazement she set it up as an activity,, I am so happy here" All the staff were wonderful with an open door policy, going above and beyond to meet her needs...I am grateful to everyone for how they treat the residents, like it is their family member....I highly recommend Acacia Springs

Extraordinary place! The staff goes above and beyond from the moment you walk-in. The process from setting up a tour, to the moment I got dad moved-in was seamless. I get a call almost every day from dad talking about the friends he’s made there and how he loves playing bean bag toss with them. It truly makes me so happy that my dad is receiving top-notch care and that he’s found his forever home!

My mom has been there since February and it has been a good experience. They have lots of activities and outings and the staff is very responsive. Even have option for other things to eat if you don't like what's on menu.
Is this a luxury resort? No but it is clean and comfortable and we all feel confident that my mom is in good hands. She is in the Independant side for now but they still are available to support if any concern. On two occasions she wasn't answering door or phone and staff was there right away to check on her.... turned out she was napping and missed her appointments. Especially for the prove it is a great value and care.

Although I did not end up placing my mother at Acacia Springs, it was a beautiful and loving atmosphere - it was just too far for the family members to visit. As the daughter of a veteran I truly appreciated that fact that they #1, told me about Patriot Angels and #2, hung medallions on the veteran's doors reflecting what branch of the military they served.

I can't say enough about acacia springs. My friend of 40 years moved there about a year ago right before the pandemic, and she was very hesitant going there because she had always been a home body. Since she moved to acacia springs I can barely get her on the phone because of all the activities going on and she tells me "i gotta go i'll call you tonight its time for happy hour." Hearing that from her every day i'm in proccess of selling my house, I hope and pray everything goes well. Acacia will be my next home when everything goes through. I just wanna say thank you to all the people who helped her come out of her shadow.

I have to tell you this place is the Best! My Mom ( Laurette) lived here for three years. It took her a little while to fit in but she grew to love this place and call it home. The Staff...The Pennys and everyone there from the reception, The Kitchen, The Waiters and Waitresses, The Housekeepers, and more made my Mom feel special. I can not thank them enough for Loving and Caring about my Mom. They all became Family..

My grandmother lived here for several years. She loved it. She was always busy with different activities and made good friends. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even threw her a surprise 90th birthday party. This is a wonderful place for your loved one to reside and know they are cared for.

My friend has lived there for years and loves it there. I can't think of a better place in Vegas. Directors have been there for a long time which she loves. It's like a big family. Strongly recommend.

Whatever these people are posting about dementia patients and everything else you have to pay for medical care if you're on the Assisted Living side and if you don't pay for someone to come check on your loved ones then they're not required to if they live on the non assisted side like the one lady said for 3 days nobody checked on her why doesn't a family member call and check because unless they're on the medically-assisted side they don't check on them and if you want them to then it would not be as reasonably priced as it is so you people who complain you don't care about your loved ones that are there.period....
You placed them there so they are no longer a bother to you- SHAME ON YOU !!!
My mother has been there three years yes there's some dog issues and a few little things that management when you bring it to their attention they address it so I am proof that this place deserves at least a three or four star the food quality has gone down a little witch that I would like to see change and they don't want to seem to address that however other than that and the dogs running around a little bit too much the care is there
