Pat is the best of the best. He mastered my two most recent albums. Gas Station Mentality (2015) and Systematically Manufactured (2017). Pat knows how to get the best finished product out of your mixes. He is also one of the coolest guys to hang with as well as being a masterful guitarist and bassist. There is no one else I would trust to master my recordings.

I am exceptionally pleased with how my album has turned out after being mastered by Pat. As a musician new to the whole process of mastering, I felt like I was going out on a limb and didn't know what to expect. Pat was so welcoming and professional, and made the whole experience really smooth and educational. First of all, the turn around was remarkably fast! Secondly, he welcomed me into his studio, gave me a fantastic tour, and then let me listen to the progress he had made on some of the tracks. To help me really hear and understand the difference, he played the original mix and then cut to the mastered track and explained his process, and WOW what a difference! He made my voice really pop, and though my instrumentation is pretty simple, each sound came through even more clearly and intentionally. It was like magic! I can't recommend Pat Keane's mastering services enough. Pat's really great at what he does, and I can't wait to work with him again. Highly recommend for both professional musicians and newbies like me!

I have worked with Pat for mastering on multiple of my own projects, as well as some of the projects from artists I'm producing. Where Pat Keane has the edge above the rest is in knowledge, ear training and attention to detail. Pat knows so much about the science of sound, gear, programs, music, etc. To me, this is important, since the more one knows about her/his trade, the second nature it can be. He freely shares the info as well! Pat also has a beastly ear. He can pick out wrong notes that may only be a few cents off pitch. He can pinpoint any frequency on the spectrum just by ear, allowing him to know where to add and where to subtract. Pat also operates with incredible attention to detail. As a producer, I care a lot about all the minute details that make the song what it is. I feel safe sending my song to Pat, because I know he's gonna pick out those details as well, and even find some that I didn't. He won't roll his eyes at me for getting into the details, either. Pat is also really personal and really communicative and really administratively strong. Let's be honest, that is not so common in the music business. I 10/10 recommend Pat Keane Mastering!
