If you are looking for help on anything relating to audio, Jack is your guy. He is dedicated to the art and craft of his work and he will never stop until the client is satisfied. I've had the pleasure to know and work with Jack Miele over the years, and I have to say that he is one of the most advanced engineers in the Louisiana area. His musical repertoire in not just multi-genre music history and production, but he is advanced in music theory and songwriting arrangement which is just as impressive. He puts so much attention to actively listening the entire session, and he can spot tonal problems that most won't even catch. He is the type of guy that will pause a recording after a take and help a drummer try out a snappier snare drum or dampen toms for the benefit of a tighter drum tone. If you think he is known just for his killer drum tracking you are in for a big surprise! His accolades are all well deserved and you can tell he earned every single one. I was impressed that Jack has access to some of the best musicians in the area that all show up, hit the licks, and follow directions guided by Jack to best fit the vibe of a song; I've seen song arrangements and tunes turn into singles. I could go on and on but Jack taught me some really important life lessons with engineering, "It's not just about the ear, it's about the feeling the music leaves you with," and "If you spend a little more time on the little details when tracking a band, you don't waste near as much time adjusting a mix down the road." Jack performs every minute you have him on your team, he will treat every project like it's his own, and he will never stop pushing your album to the next level. Guys like Jack are hard to find, prove me wrong.
