Supreme Nematode
This is a good (but not great) store. staff is amazing and so are the records. the only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is the selection. i understand not every store can be the best but it would have been nice to have seen a few more artist like Smashing Pumpkins, Megadeth or REM, but over all it wasn’t bad. the Single selection is superb very pleased with the amount of 45s. Matt Anthony’s and Guestroom records are MUST STOPS for Louisville. would recommend (please let’s see more Alice in chains)

Great environment, incredible staff and ownership. Very engaging and recommends music as well. Russell helped my wife and I and he was just really awesome to talk to and learn more about. Definitely coming back to Matt Anthony’s record shop!!

Cute little shop. By little I mean tiny. Inside was clean, didn’t smell like attic or basement, had good music playing. Didn’t find anything rare, though. Had some new stuff and had some old, old stuff. Was mainly looking for hard to find 90s LPs and came out empty handed but enjoyed the visit. In the back is a rock/gem shop. Got a few things there for the kids.

Matt was so awesome to let us take over the store for a bit for a pro photoshoot for a clothing line. The selection of vintage and modern records is awesome and it's a cozy place with a great atmosphere! Thank you so much !

Not only have I loved this local treasure for years, but... I actually brought in my good friends Sharon Jones, Binky Griptite and Bosco Mann from NYC and they were completely blown away by this amazing record shop! Matt is highly invested in the community and very involved in the scene on multiple levels. HIGHLY recommended!

Great shop. Nice footprint, not sprawling, not too small. Nice mix of reissue and original. Everyone is glad to help you search- Russell knows the mission and his gig! If you're new to searching for vinyl add Matt Anthony to your route.

They have a wide array of different genres to choose from as far as music goes. You can find metal(my favorite), classic rock, jazz, hip hop, pop, local stuff and much more. Matt is a very cool guy he's almost always there when I go in. Hes even got a radio show! I always find something I like wether that be a record or a comic book, or a regular book. You can also find some odd rarities there as well last time i went i found the soundtrack to an obscure 80s horror movie called trick or treat , which is about a dead rockstar who comes back to life to get his revenge on those who killed him and is produced by gene simmons! Anyway do yourself a favor and visit Matt Anthony's , their vinyl tatstes better!

Great experience! This was my first time purchasing records and I was not disappointed. Large selection at affordable prices. I even found the Beastie Boys record I was looking for. They also carry a large selection of local music which was interesting to look through.

Nice shop. Nice collection of new and used records. The prices are great. The owner is very nice. I will be back again when my wife takes me off punishment for over spending on records.
