So my experience with this site has been phenomenal. I ordered the wrong case for my equipment and literally realized it 5 minutes later. Honest review July 2022. So far so good. I placed an order, received a nice hello email and order confirmation. I did not get shipping or tracking via email, however I was able to easily find this in my order history on the Hollywood DJ website. I have not received my DJ case as of yet, but the FedEx ground tracking shows movement just one day after the order. So no issues with shipping/processing. Very smooth so far. I will update if any issues arise. The site looks like they have some cool stuff that other places do not have in stock currently. I love the case I ordered, and was just checking out some lights lol. I mean, how cool is it to get DJ gear from Hollywood? s

Customer Service was beyond my expectations!!! After searching for weeks on the internet for the perfect backyard/karaoke party speaker, I finally found the LD Systems ICOA 15A. It was unfortunate that no one had it in stock. That is until I found Hollywood DJ. I arrived there on a Friday morning and was greeted by Fernando. He provided great feedback on all the available speakers and ultimately I picked the ICOA. He was kind enough to play all the sound systems and taught me how to safely adjust the music volume. While I was there, my son reminded me that we needed to get ear-phones for his Playstation. Luckily I didn't have to go anywhere else. They had some high quality ones at an incredible price. I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a great sound system

I purchased an item from another retailer who shall remain unnamed only to find out AFTER they processed my order that said item was 90 days backordered, which their website failed to specify. This is where Hollywood DJ comes in... Hollywood DJ informed me that they had two of this item in stock and ready to ship. I placed my order through their website but unfortunately due to some sort of glitch, most likely due to every dj in North America ordering the same item as me at the same time, I missed out. 😩 Along came Allan... Allan is apparently Hollywood DJ's lord and savior. He spoke with me personally on the phone, told me that he would keep my personal information handy and if one became available he would let me know immediately... which is EXACTLY what happened. Allan contacted me on a Saturday, immediately notifying me that he had my item. When I returned his call, he explained to me that he was able to not only to procure this item, but that he personally put it in his office to assure its safe keeping until he heard from me. He then gave me his personal cell number and said to contact him personally if there were any issues during the ordering process. I am now patiently awaiting its arrival. Ladies and gentlemen, THIS is customer service at its finest! Hollywood DJ has a customer for life! And as far as Allan goes, they should send him on an all expense paid vacation to wherever he chooses! Thanks Allan and Hollywood DJ, you're the BEST!!!

I have had mixed experiences with Hollywood DJ- I have ordered from them twice and I have received what I ordered so I guess that is a plus. The first time I ordered I was supposed to get free shipping but I did not. I actually had to call them to find out why the product hadn't shipped yet and it was at that time that they told me I had to pay about $20 more for shipping. I said okay because I really wanted the item. A few days after paying the shipping fee I received shipping confirmation. Later, I needed another of the same item but I wanted a different color. I ordered it, the price was higher this time but the shipping was free. It took about 10 days to get a shipping confirmation and eventually I received the item. The color of the item was darker than it appeared in the pictures and I didn't like it for my rig so I emailed them inquiring a return. I never heard back. After a few days I called them and requested a return or exchange and they told me that it was a made to order item and they don't accept returns on those items per the returns page on the website. So here is where the biggest problem lies. The product page does not mention that the item is not returnable/ made to order and the return page doesn't say anything about made to order items anyways. The product page actually states that the product should ship the next day- this was not true either time that I ordered the product. Had I know that it wasn't returnable I probably would have ordered the same exact color that I previously purchased because I knew it was a winner. -poor and inconsistent communication -poorly written return policy -misleading product descriptions and shipping promises It seems like they want to please but at the same time it seems like they don't completely have their act together.

I live in Pensacola, Florida. My band suggested that I get the highly effective and popular Behringer EQ700 pedal to dial in a great sound, so I looked online for one. Every store (including Amazon) was out of stock, except for Hollywood DJ. I bought the pedal from them, then got a call from Alan (store manager) the next day that they were also out of stock. However, thankfully they still had the display model. Allen offered the display pedal for $25 as opposed to the original $30 store price. This was 2 weeks ago; the pedal arrived today and I am thrilled! I will definitely buy my equipment from Hollywood DJ again and I highly recommend them to all musicians! Alan was very friendly and timely!
