Wall of Sound was the first rehearsal studio that I considered as my "go-to" studio when I first moved to California and still regard it as one of the best. The rooms are impeccably maintained and the equipment is clean as ever. The hours seem more variable though than they were in the past so it's best to ensure they'll be open when you need to jam. Nevertheless, The Grillo fam will make sure you've got all your jamming needs addressed. Killer showcase room, too.

If I could, it'd give this place 4 1/2 stars. Clean place, no weirdos walking in or around, even in the late hours. They help set up the mixer and mic's pretty quick. 4 [1/2] stars for the fact that they claim to be "Fully Equiped". Which in other words means, "added charge for almost everything, per the hour". Microphone (after 2)? Charge. Cable? Charge. Mic stand? Charge. More than hi hats and a ride? Charge. They really try to get everything out of you, but compared to other studios, it's almost worth it.
