I had a blast working at the Omnitone! Darren is a brilliant producer and the quality of his work is impeccable. He's also one of the fastest engineers I've worked with. We got a ton of recording done in a very short time, and he didn't even break a sweat. The studio space itself is beautiful and very comfortable. All the equipment is state-of-the-art. I've recorded in a decent number of places on both the east and west coasts, and the Omnitone is definitely one of my favorites.

Wow what an experience! Before any money ever changes hands Darren, the Producer and Owner talks you through your project, your goals and expectations. Going into a studio for the first time can be a little intimidating but what I really liked about him is that he didn't just talk but he actually listened to me and got a good feel for where I was at musically. When that's all worked out he gives you a flat fee per song so you never have to worry about watching the clock and racking up hours of studio time. I can't tell you how much more relaxed the sessions went because of this. I love the Team concept they have going there too. Whether you come in with songs that are completely written and ready to record or if you just have a few ideas, Darren has an all-star lineup of Industry professionals that help with everything from the writing to the arrangements, sampling and mixing. Technically the studio itself is top notch with all of the latest Pro-Tools updates You may or may not need musicians depending on what kind of music you are creating but I can tell you that the drummer, bass player and guitarist he uses for sessions were incredible. Not just talented but upbeat and very positive attitudes! Overall I had a great experience and I was very happy with the end product.
