The best for all my Flute needs. Bought my professional model Haynes Flute from them and got a contract to keep it running smoothly. It's like Tiffany's for flutes! They also carry brass, woodwinds, violins, and percussion instruments as well. Must see!

Went into Chop's with a drum harness issue. Brian spent a lot of time trying different approaches to solving my problem. When one try didn't work, he'd start over with a different angle until the problem was solved. Much appreciated customer service is becoming a lost art in this world but found here at Paige's and Chop's.

Very good place to get all types of instruments! Paige's has a great selection of instruments for people new to playing instruments to the experienced and in between. There instruments are also cheeper to get it for less experience people to more expensive for the higher end really nice instruments. Their policy is great for both renting and buying. They will do free string repair and tuning which is very nice. Definitely recommend!

Our daughter plays flute at RJH and when we decoded to upgrade her flute, Erin was super patient and explained the difference between the beginner flute and the upgraded flute, not once, but twice because my husband had questions as well. Erin is so wonderful to work with and very helpful! Definitely recommend talking to her if your child is interested in flute through school or for home.

Best music shop experience we've had! We visited to rent an upright bass for my son, who is heading to IU as a jazz bass major. Paige's had an excellent selection of rentals that were reasonably priced. The quality of the instruments was better than anything we had seen in Bloomington. The strings manager, whom we met, was friendly and incredibly knowledgable. We'll make Paige's our go-to stop for all future music needs!

I recently took the clarinet that I played in high school to Paige’s to have the pads and mouthpiece replaced. When they inspected the instrument, they found some traces of mold in the case and ended up giving me a gently used case for free with the repair. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly and helpful, and the repair was completed after only two days (much faster than I anticipated for the amount of work needed.) I would highly recommend Paige’s to anyone looking to purchase or repair an instrument!

They did a wonderful job refinishing my daughter's flute. They have knowledge and helpful staff. Turnaround time on the repairs were even faster than promised. They aren't cheap but are definitely THE PLACE in Indy to go to get your musical instruments repaired, cleaned and polished. Their location is a little tight on parking so try to get their off peak hours for a decent spot.

Great service- the saxophone repair man I use and have used for a long time, is the best around!!! And, I wish to add an experience a year ago I had-renting to own a brand new Accent soprano saxophone from Paige's, that ended up being a lemon. Paige's had a factory fresh replacement in my hands in a reasonable time frame, would have no problems renting again in the future!

Be careful with the rentals - when you rent an instrument from Paige's, you have to provide your social security # and authorize Paige's to run a credit check. Edit: Jeremy from Paige's reached out and explained more about these policies. I went ahead with a rental from Paige's (so far so good!) - though I do hope in the future their contract will allow other means to financially secure the instrument (besides a credit check) for those of us who are very careful about our credit.

Great service. When we needed a service on my son’s trumpet, we were easily able to request a ticket and receive a loaner while his trumpet was out. They dropped off loaner at school and picked his up at school as well. We recently upgraded to a step up trumpet. My son is in love with it. Paige’s made the transaction easy to do.

My daughter spent two years in orchestra playing the viola which she rented from Paige's Music; any time she had an issue with her instrument Paige's made it stress-free to fix the problem. We also visited the store many times and were treated promptly and were serviced with friendly, knowledgeable staff that got our questions answered and sent us on our way quickly. I have been shopping with Paige's for around 15 or more years. They are able to get all of my instrumental needs covered. I've had my violin worked on and mandolin repaired in their repair shop. I have also purchased strings and shoulder rests from their Encore Strings shop with John. If you ever need anything for your instrument's care, this is the place to go! Paige's is also the place to go to purchase new instruments. They have everything!

I've been using Paige's for years and I recently received a violin that is approximately 100yr old and needed some work. Paiges is the only place I would ever think of taking it. They were fast, friendly and willing to hold on to any old parts that were replaced. Now whenever I play I use my great-grandfathers violin and know that he is with me.

Northdaviess Bands

Paige's Music is a great store for us to get all our band supplies from. As long as students notify their director on Tuesday (for us here at ND) , they will have them on Wednesday when the road man makes his stop. Beginner instruments are reasonably priced and also the highest value possible. Beginning students also have a convenient rent to own program that they and their families can use instead of having to invest a large amount of money at the very beginning in order to even get an instrument. I purchased my Kanstul trumpet from Paige's while in high school, ~1999. It was passed around and used by several family members and I got it back around 2012. My young kids loved playing on it so we left it with some other musical instruments in the play room. Over the next several years it took quite a beating and ended up completely unplayable with huge dents and wrinkles in the bell. The valves weren't working correctly and the mouthpiece was stuck. I brought it to the pro's at Paige's thinking it would be impossible to save my baby. I came back a week later and I was completely blown away! The horn sounds brand new and the craftsmanship put into it was astounding. The valves are flawless, the mouthpiece removed, and all of the dents and imperfections have vanished! I truly can't believe the level of detail that they've put into this horn. To the Paige's repair team: thank you for saving my horn and giving it new life!

We rented a viola for my daughter. I've played many instruments but never a stringed instrument. Well, I accidentally broke a string because I knew nothing on day 2, so back to Paiges we went!! Joh there got us fixed right up and even gave us a 20 minute tutorial on how the strings work and how to adjust them. I can say without any reservation that we had the best experience at the Indy Flute Shop. We drove up three hours from Evansville and the sales associate (Ms. Erin Nichols) was extremely patient with us. She let us try multiple flutes, even the higher end flutes so that we were able to compare a wide range of styles and features. She not only answered every question that we had, she also gave us information that we wouldn't have even though of asking about. She was not at all pushy, and when we were ready to make a final decision, she gave us a few minutes to be alone, so that we could discuss it amongst ourselves. The Flue shop DOES provide a yearly service plan in case the flute breaks, so I was a little confused when I read the other reviews that complained about not getting good service or repairs. They even offered to come meet us halfway to Evansville to pick up the flute, and then mail it back to us free of charge after any repairs are done. I would definitely recommend the Indy Flute shop to any of my friends, and it was definitely worth it to make the trip up to Indianapolis.

Rented my son's trombone for a little over a year from them. They fixed it for free the one time it needed it. Returning the instrument was no hassle. I just took it to the store and got a return receipt. 4 stars instead of 5 merely because the whole rental thing is such a scam. The used instrument we rented for what would have been a total of roughly $900 can be bought on eBay for $75. Or about 2 monthly rental payments. Damn was I a lazy sucker for not investigating this before. Don't bother renting a beginner instrument,just find out what the band director says is the beginner instrument and buy one used.

When I entered a (sorry...) dumpy industrial strip mall, with hard-to-find distant signage and obscure address numbers, I had no idea (once inside) I would find the most beautiful music store I'd ever experienced. It was well worth the effort driving 2 hrs to explore. Once inside, it felt more like a small airport. Really. Tons of high-end pro instruments to test (with no sales pressure, and assistance provided by instrument-specific experts). In my case, flutes. I left with something brilliant. Prices (I checked later) were the same as online. Very happy.

**I should preface by saying my comments are based completely on the silver finish aesthetic/ quality after being cleaned. All pads, slides, etc were greased, cleaned, and replaced appropriately. ** I took my silver Bach Strad in to get serviced/ bathed and was relatively disappointed with the results. There were brush marks which had dulled the finish in some areas near where the slides are. I took it back explaining my concerns and they immediately took it to the back to buff them out. It may be their methods or techniques, but some of the dullness remained in a few areas where there was no previous marks prior to getting it serviced. I asked if they looked over the entire horn and was told that they worked on a few of the areas and it was all they could do. I've kept my trumpet's sheen in very good condition since originally purchasing from WWBW in 2006 and was very disappointed by this. Nothing major, but the attention to detail was lacking from their staff. I would not recommend a cleaning/ bath if you are concerned on the condition of your finish in trumpet (albeit in small, minor areas) .

I had emailed the store prior to arriving to look at new trumpets for my 7th grader. I received a prompt response with models available and pricing. Upon our arrival Saturday morning we asked to work with the associate we had been in contact with previously. Britton took his time explaining the ins and outs of the intermediate and pro series trumpets. He presented the material in a factual manner and did not attempt to upsell us as we made our decision.
