I visited this store a couple days ago on a whim and boy am I glad I did! Amazing selection of music. There were not many books when I did visit but I am positive it is due to the owners great prices and awesome taste in merchandise to sell. I'm itching to go back already!

Easily the best record store I've been to. You just won't find prices that compare. I find records in the dollar section that other record stores are selling for $10, and don's are better. Love the store. Wish Don would expand to ft Collins, I'll work weekends if you do.

Downtown Vinyl is why we visit Cheyenne so often! There is a great selection at incredible prices (my husband's collection has grown substantially, thanks to Don!), and Don (the owner) is always friendly and has great stories to swap while we're there. We highly recommend it to any music lover!

Amazing book and record store. I had an unhealthy obsession with anything Baby-Sitters Club related when I was young and ended up donating all of my books to the public library as an adult, a choice that always haunted me. Luckily, Don had two shelves full for me to pick from for 99 cents a book. We’re currently driving thru the great state of Wyoming and I am currently reading out loud to my boyfriend Stacey and the Mystery of Stoneybrook. Cheyenne is a town after our hearts and we will be back! Thank you, Don!

One of the coolest record stores I have ever visited: could have easily dropped several hundred $$. Unbelievable selection (especially for Cheyenne), great quality (think VG++ or better), and extremely fair prices. I'll be back as often as I am in town! Cannot recommend enough. It was a lot cooler than I expected.

I visit the store regularly and I gotta say the LP selection is awesome, prices are more than fair and the quality is fantastic! Also, for a record store, they have just the right amount of books!

This is a true music lover's paradise. I stopped in on a road trip and could not have been more surprised. The quality and selection were fantastic. I purchased a ton of books and music; the pinnacle of my selection was a limited edition Chris Cornell box. But what made the experience great was the personal touch. Thanks for a great couple days!

I love this bookstore! I’m a Cheyenne resident and go often because the owner always has a changing selection of great books from every genre - at unbeatable prices. Grab a book (or ten, if you’re like me) from here then walk across the street for a coffee and view of the massive, hidden murals at the Paramount. Makes for a great day downtown.

My husband and I LOVE this store! We decided to go in the other day before an appointment and we were so happy we did. I can't believe the prices. They are incredible! I bought about 5 books in perfect condition for less than 20 dollars. The owner is also very nice! We will be forever customers.

Took a last minute road trip to Wyoming and found this bookstore. I could’ve spent all day in there! The owner was also super nice. I’m still in so much shock that I found a first edition of The Hundred and One Dalmatians 😳 and for only $2.99. I seriously never have this kind of luck. They also had a great selection of records. 12/10 recommend this store!

The man who runs the shop is friendly and knowledgeable, and has a great love for books and old vinyl records. We love going to this shop to browse, and we keep coming back for the warm, inviting environments and great deals. I would highly recommend this shop to any bibliophile or audiophile.

Love Phoenix Books! My go-to bookstore if I’m looking for something to read from older books to the newest best seller. A great selection of vinyl, too! It’s a wonderful place to browse and the owner is so knowledgeable and always helpful!

I went for a walk downtown this evening, trying to assess the local economic damage caused by the Covid-19 shutdown. I'm sure I've walked by this store many times, but this was the first time I went in. They had a book of old photographs of Casper, Wy, and I couldn't pass it up. I ended up buying two books. I plan to go back and browse their selection when I have time. The value of of books and pages that can be touched and absorbed is immeasurable, and can never be replaced by a Google search.

Small store front, decent volume. This is isn't a store filled with romance novels but with a great selection of nonfiction and novels and a ton of vinal records. There is something here for everyone. Plan to spend time as you comb through the awesome treasures this place has to offer.
