Reviews of Autumn Records

The record selection at Autumn is pretty solid with a good selection of represses and new releases. For new records it's probably my favorite location in the area.
Greg sold me a pair of used Polk RTA-12As and a used Sony amp. The amp works great. But when I got them home I found one of the woofers was blown. I wish we had tested them before I left the shop. It's possible it happened in transit. Anyway quick call to Greg and he had me bring the speakers back. He confirmed the diagnosis, ordered a replacement and installed it for me. I just had to pay for the woofer, which was fair to me (I didn't have to install it!). All in all it was good deal for some truly amazing speakers. I don't know what he paid for them but I felt like I might have done better in the deal. 😁
They can count me as a loyal customer.
Parking in the Winooski circle can be annoying during rush hour, so just be aware.

Quality shop. I've been here twice and I purchased at least 1 LP each time. Clean, open, spacious and properly climate controlled. Almost entirely all vinyl inventory with a very small CD section in the corner. There is stereo equipment in the back too including turntables, amps, and speakers. HUGE jazz and electronic sections. Lots of rock, pop, country, world, blues, ambient, and 45's too. Not a very good selection of heavy metal unfortunately. Seems to be a good mix of vintage and modern LP's (originals and reissues). The records are priced fairly according to current market rates. Staff are cool and are happy to answer any questions you may have. Recommended.

Best record store I went to! With a truly amazing selection, free cassettes and they're practically giving away 45s it's a must for all vinyl collectors in the area. Highly reccomend, and will return.

I love Autumn Records and it’s always worth popping in when I can. The employees are super helpful and the selection is well curated. They have a great balance of new releases, re-pressings and rare used albums. They even have a great bottom shelf selection if you’re on more of a budget.
Go there and buy music.

This is one of Vermont's finest record stores. Great selection of $1, $5 and beyond. Super friendly owner and staff.
Matt Deibert
Large selection of well organized electronic and ambient music you probably won't see at many record stores. Right around the corner from an amazing brewery (Four Quarters).

Great selection of music of all genres. Solid choice in even the less expensive stuff. Staff was good too. Friendly and helpful. I bought a couple $5 discs, but when I'm back in town I'll be back for some others.

Stopped in on Sunday (10/1), the day after they opened. The stock they have is really great - lots of old sought after records and a good collection of New Arrivals. They also have a decent selection of stereo equipment. If you have old, good quality records or CD's you may also be able to bring them here to sell them, at the owner's discretion. Speaking of the owner, he was very pleasant and inviting upon entering the store.
Definitely a place to keep on your radar if you enjoy vinyl listening and live in the Winooski area. Right next to other little shops and restaurants, good place to find yourself on a weekend.

I support this Independent Record store any day. Good quality and prices along with a nice selection..go buy some tunes!

A very reasonably priced record store with a wide variety of new, old, and used vinyl. Everything from Aphex Twin to Ella Fitzgerald and everything in between.
I also sold a few records and got a reasonable amount of cash for them. They offer in-store credit for trade-ins as well and give you about 20% extra credit.
I highly recommend this record store and is my new favorite vinyl shop (they do have some cds and cassettes) in the Burlington/Winooski area!

This place has a really good selection. The owner was super helpful answered all of my questions thoughtfully. They will also ship anywhere, as we were from over 700 miles away and did not want to pack our purchase. Definitely a Hidden Gem!

Will shop there again. Impeccable recommendations based on one album I threw down as an example. Awesome vibe in general. Loving the new Thundercat vinyl!

Very cool record shop. Fairly new, maybe a year or two old, but they have a pretty good variety of records. They used to have a sales area with some good deals as well.

Love this place. Everything is priced fairly, and they have free cassette tapes to take if you're still using that kind of ancient tech.

Largest variety of records in the area, everything from 2 dollar records to pricey limited edition/new/collectors level stuff. Would highly recommend spending some time digging through their massive collection and seeing what you walk out with.

Everyone here goes out of their way to create the penultimate record store experience, without any hovering or salesman ook. The selection is superb and truly is what makes *some* record shops legendary. The repointed brick walls display hot rare finds as well as paper ephemera from the most exquisite points of music history. There’s a listening station if your potential used purchase needs a how-ya-doing. There are occasional live events. There is a growing book collection of unusual and poignant titles. And there’s a coffee shop at the end of the block. 4Q Brewing is across the intersecting street.
