Reviews of The Magic House, St. Louis Children’s Museum
Tammy Weaver
Had a lot if fun there with my 3yr old granddaughter. Lots to do to keep her going. Staff was on hand watching which was good since older kids were getting out of hand. We will b back soon! Had India theme to show kids different places around the world it was fun and educational.
Jessica May
An amazing children’s museum. Something for everyone. We were able to get through it in a few hours, but definitely could have spent a lot longer exploring. We did split up so we could follow the interests of the children, so if possible, go with multiple adults. I had fun, too, but I can be a big kid, so we had fun playing in the courtroom and Oval Office.
Candid Reviews
First time visitors with my twins and myself. They had a blast! We luckily arrived after 3pm and there is a deal for advanced tickets online for $3 per person and it was well worth it! There is so much for them to do and play with. The staff here is very friendly and there is something for everyone, including us adults! They have a cafe for quick meals and an outdoor play area. If you're needing something for the Littles to do and burn some energy this place is just for you! Definitely going to visit again!

My 4 year old daughter and I went here while stopping in St Louis. We were there for 3 hours but could have easily been there longer. There is so much to see and do. We were there on a Wednesday morning and there were quite a few kids there. When you walk in you can go left or right. To the left are the exhibits that can change and to the right are the permanent ones that are more interactive. My daughter definitely had more fun with the permanent exhibits. I think she would have needed to be a little older for the exhibits on the left side. There is lots of learning and playing to be done here! Amazing time, great experience, all around excellent time for the kids.

Magic House is a fun place for the family. It does cost money to get in, but every 3rd Friday of the month they will have a free family night from 5-8 PM. We went during a Lego exhibit was going on and my children loved it. I would recommend the Magic House to anyone traveling to STL or who is in town and thinking about buying some of his/her children's energy somewhere.
MegaReFreshing
Such a Awesome time, every time! A wealth of adventure and discovery learning and play. Always new exhibits which is greatly appreciated by members. Always clean, staff always pleasant. Price is well worth it. Adequate parking.
Brett Heppler
A Magic House indeed!
Came for the fun, stayed for the fun!
Do yourself and your kiddos a favor, come and visit. Kids will learn how to groom your pet, acquire work and life skills (scooping ice cream, fishing), banking and money practice, brush up their science and artistic skills and even go to bed on time once you are finished exploring. A must see attraction if visiting St.Louis area.
Angie AuBuchon
My kids have always loved the Magic house but I think at 9 years old, they have almost outgrown it. I would love to see more activities for older children. On the other side, my 14 month old grandson loved almost everything!
Amanda
Pure chaos at times but so fun for parents and kids! So many rooms and levels to explore together and interactive elements throughout. My kids especially loved the "town" area and enjoyed playing "grown up". We brought out of town guests who loved it as well. Seasonally there is even an outdoor area to play. We at lunch on site and stayed most of the day. Pretty pricy if you don't live locally for a membership. Nice treat out for the family. I'd recommend!
Wendy Potter
Great place for kids to play and explore. They have different things for different ages bit you can go anywhere you want regardless. My kids love it! The food they sell is definitely not worth the price they charge so try to plan around that of possible. Highly recommend this science museum. We can spend 2 or 3 hours there easy with my 5 and 2yr old. The only thing that stops us at that point is my 2yr olds nap.

Hadn't been to MH in decades... it's fantastic! I ADORE the $3 per person admission after 3 pm!
Surprisingly, it was not crowded. We only experienced a portion of the MH, and can understand it's rather pricey admission before 3 pm. Must be expensive to maintain etc.
CLEAN, SUPER SAFE, UNUSUAL exhibits that kiddies and kids are very drawn to: the Schnucks supermarket, car & mechanics station, ice cream cart, veterinarian clinic... Inside playground, experimental exhibits... we'll be back!
Alicia Whitehead
We love the Magic House! We get a Grandparents membership from my parents every year. We wish the Magic House was open more Mondays because our school district does not have school on Mondays. But... we wish we went more

The Magic House is every bit of magic that it claims to be. Our children (12yrs, 9yrs, 6yrs & 2yrs) absolutely loved it. My husband & I loved this magical place, it's AMAZING!! The bubble room, the market, the giant slide, the STEM area, we all loved every bit of it!!! There's arts, crafts, creativity, science, reading, technology, & more! All together, the STEM area was our childrens favorite part. We spent a few hours here & they didn't want to leave, I didn't want to leave, lol. The Magic House is amazing & definitely worth more than one visit.
Angela Layman
I came after 3pm so tickets were less expensive. They were $3 a piece. The regular price is like $14 per a person which is too much for us.
The art area was very cool.
Ashley R
Had a great time with the kids and my mom (mom had never been before but my kids and I have.)There is so much to do! Make sure you have at least 3 hours but if your kids are like mine they'll want to stay much longer. We didn't do everything single thing there is but we were able to get a lot in during our 3 and a half hour play time. The new India exhibit area is really cool. Seriously so much to do and for a super great price!
Sandra Reeves
Absolutely a great place for children to explore, learn and grow about the world around them. So many creative areas ti keep children engaged that they will look forward to returning.
Autumn Smith
Always so much to do, never gets boring and we go frequently (were members). We've been getting the membership every year for their cyber Monday deal and it's always been our most used membership. My daughter loves everything, but I particularly love the culture exhibits upstairs where you can immerse yourself in the culture of another country by dressing up, playing games, seeing a pretend home and store (currently India). We love everything about the magic house. Oh and sandcastle beach is great too, when we do sandcastle beach we usually don't even make it inside.
Laura Mauck
This Children's Museum is amazing. Great for younger kids and still full of fun for adults to learn to play again
Peggy Bosick
It was $9.00 to get in for two adults and one child,we arrived at 3 p.m. or so, loved that price! I no now to get there like an hour earlier because we would tell my granddaughter it's time to move on because there's so much to do and see! So crowded on a Saturday even that late in the day, we will go a different day 😆 we started out going to a pumpkin farm but it was pouring down rain and thought of this! We had a great time!
Laura Waite
My foster children loved this place. There is alot for them todo. Thank you helping to give our children another good memory.
Vince Sobris
Completely blew away my expectations. I’m not aware of anything that compares to this place. Our kids are 4, 2, and 1, and they had so much fun. We spent the entire day there from open to close yesterday. Kids can learn, have all kinds of pretend okay, run, climb, and slide with no shortage of activity. Easy to go out to the car for lunch and then head right back in. Friendly staff and clean bathrooms. Elevators for stroller and wheelchair access to every level. The only downside for me was that none of the exhibits had Braille or audio options for the visually impaired, so I wasn’t able to read the exhibit information to my kids. Still, this will be a recurring stop for us when we are visiting the area, as long as it’s a weekday. I don’t think I would want to attempt a visit on the weekend, I can imagine it would be too crowded for the little kids to check out all the exhibits. Very fun place and doesn’t cost much. If you show up early you will have to wait outside or walk back to your car. Doors open promptly at 10:30am.
Dan Wortmann
We were in town on a family trip and knew this was a must visit for the kiddos. They had a blast and loved all the rooms at 2 and 3.5. There was a few rooms that are targeted at older kids but overall enjoyable for most ages. Dinosaur Train was the traveling exhibit and they loved seeing some familiar characters right off the start!
Elizabeth Clements
What's not to love? This place is a blast, and has been for years. Even my older kids enjoy coming to visit their old favorite exhibits and checking out what's new. The rotating exhibits down by the cafe are consistently interesting. Staff members are always polite and helpful. Two of my kids have taken art classes here and those have been the perfect mix of educational and fun. We are so fortunate to have this here in Kirkwood.
Bethany Cecil
This place is definitely geared towards younger kids. My kids are 13, 11, and 8. My 8 year old enjoyed it, but my older kids didn’t as much. I would have loved this when my kids were younger. We went at 3pm and stayed a little over an hour. I would’ve been upset if I had paid regular admission, but the reduced price after 3pm made it worth it. Took a star off, because I feel like it’s not for older kids even though it’s advertised to be.
Andrew Ricketts
This place will take more than 4 hours to let the kids do everything! Great place, worth the money. My son went crash for the train station!
S Stevi
My nephew, who is on the autism spectrum, actually interacted with so many exhibits here. He usually just runs through museums without noticing much. His favorite at the Magic House are the musical chairs.
Andrew Sikes
Pretty cool place to stop and visit with my child. We spent about 2 hours there and saw most of the exhibits. With plenty of time to do what we wanted and the $3 per person after 3:00 is a pretty good deal thank you for that. Only gave four stars because the place could use a pretty good cleaning, But I know there is many many families that come through this a year. Will be a repeated visitor
Robert Thornton
Very cool. It like science center combined with a crafting place designed for kids. The attention to detail is very cool. Expect to come back multiple days to cover it all.
Benjamin Schwantes
Nice children's museum. Lots to do. Will definitely keep young kids occupied for a few hours. Includes a cafe with food and snacks at reasonable prices. Many interactive exhibits plus a climbing tower. Can get quite busy on weekends and school holidays. Ample parking.
Jennifer Perkins
We took our 1 yo and met up with her 3yo cousin. Both children had a blast despite many exhibits that are tailored for older children that can read. There is a small exhibit space selectively for 24mos and under, which was helpful for our child.
Also, bonus?, most interactive exhibits were in working order. This is a contrast to most interactive museums we've visited.
Parking is free but lot may fill. Also, if you go during the week and a school group is present they will close a section or entire floor and you'll have to wait for them to finish.
Groupon sometimes will have discounted tickets.
Sarah Murphy
The Magic House is one of my favorite places I visited as a child. I just brought my 5 kids yesterday and it did not disappoint! Still such an amazing place. It is filled with so much fun and learning and inspires creativity. The only downfall is that there isn't enough time in a day to explore and enjoy everything. Really need a whole day for each floor! Wish there was one closer to where we live.
Tiffany Hugo
As a kid, I loved going to The Magic House. I still remember playing in the bank and grocery store. I, absolutely, loved this place. This was our second time bringing my youngest son, and omg, it was so much bigger than I remembered! From the moment we walked inside, we were completely mesmerized. There is so much to do and see. We went on a Saturday, so yes, it was packed. The Magic House is a well known attraction in St Louis, so obviously there will be adults and children pouring in. That is a given and should be expected. We had an absolute blast. We didn't even make it to the lower level. We definitely will next time we go. Such a fun place for little kids!
Megan Mack
Always a GREAT time at magic house. The kids love this place and I actually enjoy taking them. We drive 4 hours and make it a road trip / family weekend just to go here. They switch up some of the rooms & attractions and always keep it fun and exciting for the kiddos.
Lucia Hargasova
Best palce for a 4 year old plus, lots of activities amazing options. Try to get there early it gets busy and probably little overwhelming so plan your leave time (my little one had a meltdown as it was too much fun to leave?. Loved it really really great place to visit
Ethan Sam
This place is absolute heaven for kids ages 3-10 or so. Any older and it probably loses its luster, but it *really* delivers for kids in that age range.
For starters it’s deceptively expansive. Multiple floors, each with different, varied activities. My kids absolutely loved the two/story “town” with the grocery story, bank, and pizza shop (must’ve been 10 little places to visit in all). One thing we nearly missed as well that was fantastic—downstairs in the STEAM area are multiple classrooms with fun activities, like coloring and creating 3D vehicles/buildings you can upload to a little digital cartoon mural. Kids went crazy for it.
We couldn’t cover the whole museum in 4 hours and for the cost it was a great value on a rainy day.
Note: we did go on a weekday during school. My guess is this place is absolute chaos on a rainy Saturday but if you can take your pre-school/kindergarten ages kids midweek you’ll be in heaven.
Jessica Hayward
We spent an entire 6 hour day here with 3 kids, ages 10, 9, and 2. We never stopped playing and still didn't get to see everything! We could very easily spend every day of our vacation here, but St. Louis has so much more to do!
Some of our highlights include the children's village with a play shopping center, pizza shop, bank, and more, the 3 story Jack and the beanstalk climbing gym, the 3 story super slide, and the art room and science lab we discovered at the very end of the day and could have spent an entire day in just those rooms alone! Absolutely worth the entrance fee and time. If we end up with any extra time at the end of our trip, we'll definitely be spending it here again!!!

We celebrated my granddaughters 3rd Birthday there last weekend. A child's dream with so much to do, explore! On entry she received a birthday sticker and throughout our visit all the staff members congratulated her! She had a blast. We will be back..
Nick Saba
We had a wonderful time! It's was very cheap to get in but the food was kinda pricey, which is understandable because it was good and they have to make some money somewhere. My kids absolutely enjoyed it and we will definitely be back. The customer service was great and everyone was nice.
Christina Vazquez
At St. Louis classic with a mix of the old magic house science based play activities, the new sponsored exhibits and traveling exhibitions.

The Magic House has always been a family favorite for our family. It has a lot of things for all different ages of kids to enjoy. Our son, who is autistic, was a little overwhelmed by the noise at times, but there is actually a nice little dimly lit quiet room for kids to calm themselves in if necessary. I suggest that if you have a child which gets overwhelmed by situations that you plan your trip on a weekday. Our only disappointment this trip was that the electric model train wasn't working for some reason. Our son used to enjoy watching it run around the track.
Robbie D
Fantastic place. My kid spun circles and crashed on the big slide, but it's all good! So much to do and learn. We'll finish everything eventually...
Daylynn Gardow
The Magic House is so COOL and there is so much for kids to do there!!! It was room, after room of fun! Our 10 & 12 year old did not want to leave, but it has things to do for all ages. My kids said their favorite part was walking around the town with a market, bank & post office. Oh and the slide that went from the top floor to bottom 😃
Erica Caruso
We did the $3 after 3 bc we had never been and super affordable even for me with 6 kids in tow. They had a blast. We did not even make it all the way through bc they had so much fun in all the different area. In July they are starting a promotion, every 3rd Friday through the summer it will be free after hours. I think it would be a nice trip once. Kids love going to things after dark.
Mia Calicutt
Really fun for the kids! They opened a new Indian exhibit, which was absolutely awesome! The “Namaste India” 🇮🇳 exhibit was my favorite part! I loved every bit of it.
My parents would take me to the Magic House when I was a kid and after all these years it’s still worth the visit!
Amanda Ross
We're members. The kids always have fun going. There's so much to do that you can focus on different activities each visit, and there's something to do for all ages. I went as a kid, and now I'm taking my kids. It's definitely bigger and more extensive and even more to do than when I was a kid! You can do STEM activities, arts/crafts, exploring, creative play, and various other things. They also have the original part of the Magic House that has been there for 30 or more years that are the magnetic ball, etc, for the classics that the place used to be known for before their expansion. The house also has a lot of history since it used to be someone's house in the past 100 years! Do suggest going on a week day vs weekend if you can swing it to avoid big crowds.
Theresa “Tree” Rosselot
We took our 3 kids here and we all had a blast. Our 2 year old twin boys did not want to leave. It wasn't crowded at all, just the right amount of visitors. The dinosaur train exhibit went off without a hitch. The 3 of them loved that area
Billy Morris
Wow so much fun for kids of every age! My kids absolutely love this place. I’m so sad we don’t live here so we could come once a week. There is so much to explore and do. We played as a veterinarian, a grocery clerk, car repair man, Ice cream parlor server and so much more. They also had a little library which my som loved. They have arts and crafts you can do, play as a construction worker, be the president and many interactive activities I can’t even name them all. I wish we had a place just like this in Dallas so much because that’s all my kids talk about and wanna go back to. You guys are great. Keep it up because you are inspiring kids to be and do whatever they love. Amazing place!!!
Cat Jay
Love this place, I'm an adult and I went here to have fun. I did the after $3 admission, went with my baby sister, and we stayed until close. You definitely need a while to do and see everything, it's all very interactive. I do wish some of the play elements were in better condition, since some of them were worn and broken down.
Alexa Tischler
The Magic House is always one of our favorites! My kids (7, 9, 11) have been visiting here their whole lives, and they still have a blast!
Suggestions:
Visit in the afternoons when school is in session if possible.
Don't plan to experience the whole place in one trip. Take your time.
The little cafe is nice for a snack.
Watch for membership deals! Sometimes 1/2 off on black Friday!
Joe McCracken
This place has amazing things to do! I love taking my son there! Most of time there are things to do to entertain us adults. I did give it 4 stars only because some of the fun activities are either broken or missing pieces. Otherwise a must stop area to discover for all the family to enjoy! 😄 …
Philip Dennis
Great activity for families of all ages. Kids can enjoy play, learning, or creative activities throughout the museum. Some of the museum themes change based on the holiday season. We had a blast around Halloween!
Kaylee Eldridge
It smelled like urine on the main floor. Barley could breath because it hits you in the face. Had some really cool exhibits. Would nice to update some of them. Was nice place for the kids to play. Would go again if I lived closer.
Jason Highfield
Another fun visit for the magic house. Our nine year old still asked to go there for her birthday. They just changed up some of the rooms since our last visit so something new to explore. Loving Alaska
cara papa
Always have a blast here with all my kids ages 1-12. The staff at front desk and inside are so nice and friendly. Everything is always feels clean and safe regardless of how many children are running around
Gabrielle Wilson
Always love this place and my 6 year old and 2.5 yr old loved it! They always have something new there. Staff is really friendly and caring 2 hrs before close. Loved it. My girls are itching to go back.
Susan Blumenstock
So much to do! We took our two grandkids ages 9 & 12. We thought we might spend a couple hours but ended up having lunch there - which was not bad - and closing the place at 5. I think we could have stayed another hour, maybe.
sweetkey816
Great museum, must see for families. It was very crowded, but we were able to move through and see the whole museum in 4 hours. Make sure you carve out plenty time, there is a lot to see. No longer a magic house, more like a magic mansion.
Carmen Horrighs
The Magic House is an adventure for your little ones and the big ones like me as well!! You walk through the doors and the fun automatically starts!!! From little bitty kids all the way up there is something for everyone to do!! Hours upon hours of entertainment for a very reasonable price!!!
Sarah Lorentz
A true gem! We did get a membership this year and I have so enjoyed bringing my 3 year old over and over. We never get tired of visiting because there are so many great areas and something new or seems every time!
Scott Schuh
This place is fascinating. It got to be lunch time and the kids wanted to go get something to eat. However with each new room they encountered we ended up staying 2 hours past lunch. They had just that much fun that they forgot about eating. It seems like the building is divided into different age groups. For the first couple of floors they weren't his interested. When we hit the basement I started looking at the educational activities their interest grew. It was at this point that they did not want to leave for lunch. I tried to take pictures of the various activities but there were just too many. I hope what I have attached entices people to want to visit. It is well worth it.
Angelica Earl
A lot of fun today. Nearly everything was open and functional. The signs all over that say 1 family/group at a time for each activity is perfect. Unfortunately, other patrons can't read or willfully ignore the signs. Most staff correct them, some staff huff and puff and find it to be a burden on them to correct others. Overall, a really good time!
Toni Rose Ensey
Great place for children under 10. They can learn while experimenting. Have 1 free day a month on 3rd Friday. Noise and full on this day, but fun 🤣
Scott Montgomery
Not as clean as I expected. Bathroom was gross. But my daughter enjoyed the chaos (and got a cold). It's definitely a germ factory. But, again, the kids have a blast!
Paula Pazmiño
It's a great place to take the kids, you could spend the whole day there and still have a bunch of more stuff to do. Also has a restaurant inside, it's good enough for the kids.
Allie Star
FUN PLACE FOR the family! It does Cost money to get it but if you live in St. Louis just get the membership.
I like that the place changes the exhibit about every 3 months or so.
ALWAYS CLEAN
Emilie Kaster
Favorite children’s museum we have been to for my 1 year old. Baby room was fun but he also was able to enjoy most of the rest of the museum as well.
Nathan Hurt
Alrighty, we visited here during our St. Loius vacation. Tickets are not too expensive and it is non-profit. This is a fantastic place to bring the kids. Doesn't matter how old they are. Though it is mostly for kids, there are some interesting puzzles and activities parents can do to. There are many different areas here, including a place where smaller children can play in without the worry of older kids running around. Another area has fun and educational puzzles and another area where they can pretend to go to a grocery store, work at a bank or work at a mechanic shop where they can work on a car. There's really too much to put in one review, so you are going to have to go yourself and bring the kids.
Cord Blumenstock
This was the first time for the family at the Magic House. Everyone had a blast including the adults. There is so much science and physics at play with many of the attractions it's very interesting. The kids didn't know where to turn next. We spent 5 hours there and had to pry the three kids out of the place. It has a nice little snack shop with sandwiches, salads, and drinks. Great place for a fun filled family day
Roy Sher
great indoor play space for kids
have a lot of tactile spaces, play shopping market, indoor playground with slides, sand area, and interactive science spaces
they also have places for kids to paint, draw, color, weave and play with clay
parking is easy as well
Jason N
We have the membership and we go there quite often. Seems as if there is always something new to explore everything we visit.
Nate Moore
This place is awesome for kids! Fun and sparks their mind! Gets them tired too! Lol
My son loved it! They have something for everyone and different ages!
Gene Miller
I and my children have been here several times. A lot of the long term exhibits are showing their age. The fishing creek, just buy a box of lures and drop them in. It is basically down to two lures to catch. Legos, build a car are old and no longer holding together, buy another multi box or two to refresh. Electric exhibits not working or responding anymore in several areas. In short, if money or cost was a thing I would put out a post for local dad's or handymen to spend an afternoon going through the place fixing up the exhibits in exchange for a family pass. The new larger traveling exhibits are nice. At the time I write this the 3ed or top floor open area was under construction.
Denise Devereaux
So many options for kids of all ages. We had a 4, 7 and 10 year olds. They all had a great time! Healthy snacks too.
Maria White
Always a favorite of ours. Our children love it here very clean and fun place also safe for them to explore because they have an abundant amount of staff to help if you get separated from your kiddo
Drea Dawson
This was one of my favorite childhood field trips. I was expecting it to be the same size as it was in 1989...umm no, its a mansion now. It had so much STEAM areas there. This was like a future science geeks mecca. I loved the expansions, but also appreciated that they still had the items there from when I was a kid and I was able to share those moments with my little one. We were planning a 1.5 hr visit and my son did not want to leave he was having so much fun, so it became an all day event. My feet were sore after, so my biggest advice is bring comfortable shoes and some snacks.
Jess Avila
My 3 year old loved it!! So much to see and do! We were there for 3 about 3 hours. His favorites were the construction area and the water table that is outdoors (by the art area).
Mia Laurell
The Magic house is a fun, great child's museum, it's so much to do and so much to see. Very adventurous and educational to explore, my family and I love coming here. We will definitely go back and consider future birthday parties here.
Bruna Picker
Place is outdated. They need to update lots of rooms and activities. It is a huge building and the kids usually have a lot of fun. You can for sure spend 1/2 a day inside. It is always a great option for extreme hot or cold weather days. They have a cafeteria inside with great cookies. The staff is usually nice and helpful.
Lindy Stanga
Awesome place! Polite staff. Well designed and so educational. Hands on experience for children of all ages! Activities to engage in.
Ari
This place was amazing my 3 year old loved it there was just so much to do we spent hours there.the place was huge we probably did not do everything but it was a blast we had a blast too .
Tyler Geisler
Fun activities for most all ages. I would suggest ages 3 and up for most just because below three probably need significant parent help getting around.
Savannah Webster
There is always something new to see here! Best membership for families with young children! All the activities are developmentally appropriate and there is an activity for everyone! Plan a whole day from opening to close if you want to see everything in one day- otherwise get a membership, plan for certain areas on the day you go so you can spend more time getting in depth exploration!
Kel Stringer
If you have young kids this is the place to hit. You can pack in a full day of activities from art projects, slides and interactive activities. If you do stay for the day it's easy to bring your own lunch or hit up their dinning area. The staff is always absolutely wonderful and answers any questions. The only con about the Magic house is the crowds, plan your visit accordingly as it can be tight inside.
Cassie Hayes
Loved it! Not too many people, size was just right. Kids LOVED the children's mini- village. Our kids are ages 2, 7, 8, and 11 and there was something for everyone!
Jazmine A
A beautiful place for kids. Very informative. Its humongous so get ready for walk. There is a little cafe offering sandwiches and salads. They have few items for kids as well. There is membership available that offers discounts and free entry. A must visit places.
Ryan Madden
Hadn't been in 15+ years, and it has grown massively! I like that they preserved a bunch of the fun stuff I remember from when I was a kid... the kinetic sculpture near the entrance; the "shadow room"; the Van de Graaff Generator; the 3-story slide; the slightly-more-recent Children's Village ... The new exhibits they've added are even more fantastic, with numerous STEAM-related activities and plenty of fun for all kids and most adults.
Kraspedon Arts (J.R.)
An amazing time with the family! If your looking for place that all ages can enjoy this is the place. Our kids range from 5yrs-13yrs old and they enjoyed every moment. At first I thought the price was a little pricey but after experiencing it you really get your moneys worth. Would recommend it over and over again.

The Magic House was an amazing way to spend our day in St. Louis. We have been to many children's museums but this one was neverending in its engaging activities. We missed one section since our daughters were becoming a bit overwhelmed. it was quite busy but never a long wait to participate in activities. There were several areas without waits or crowds even during a seemingly peak time. The traveling exhibit was Clifford the Big Red dog which included a restaurant, dressing up like Clifford, a post.office and more. My 6 year old loved the two places you could color and scan it to become part of a scene on a giant screen. The small town area was amazing with such a wide variety of well thought activities. We also grabbed a small bite to eat in the cafe. Quick service and decent food for the price. Definitely check it out if you're in the area! Lots to do with kids of many ages.
amanda rogers
A great place for kids of every age. So many different things to do that your child will never get bored. Tends to be quite busy so there are lots of other children to play with too.
Mercedes
Parents... wear comfortable shoes! Your kids will run through the entire exhibit with several hands on activities. From sensory activities to full body workouts, any child that can walk/run will DEFINITELY enjoy their trip to the Magic House.
For those parents who have smaller children, they offer a secluded play area for infants - 12mo.
The prices are fair considering ALL the items Magic House has to offer.
Parking is a *bit* of a hassle, when the main parking lot is full, they have several alternative lots... just be prepared to walk, then remember where you parked.
Steffen Hogan
Great place to let the kids roam around. Enough exhibits that the kids both were able to find there favorites.
Hillary Tibbetts
My kids thought it was a blast ( 18 month girl and 8 year old boy) all the staff were great and very very helpful. A little over crowded but the kids didn't seem to mind. The only thing I think they need to update is their food court. Not much options that the kids were interested in. A little pricey.
Jackie H
Hands down the best children’s attraction in the city. There’s enough for kids and adults to keep busy for a full day, if not more. We went at least twice a month last summer, and still found something new every time. They do a great job keeping the content fresh and applicable.
Alicin Kerr
Place was great for adventurous little ones! It wasn’t very clean tho. Also I think $12 a person is alittle much. The $3 special 2 hours before close is the way to go.
Billie Jo Greenwood
We had so much fun! We were there for 2.5 hours and still didn't do everything. We will definitely be back. My grandkids had so much fun. I would absolutely recommend this place over other kids friendly activities in the area. The price is very good compared to everything you get to do.

The Magic House is pure family magic. It has a threat blend of education, work simulation and play. We have traveled to St. Louis annually for the past 3 years for The Magic House.
My kids love all the types of work environments they can play in (grocery store, auto shop, construction, pizza shop, bank, library and many more.
Their is a rotating exhibit each year. First it was Daniel Tiger. Last year it was a room to make you own pillow/blanket forts. This year it was a Mo Willems exhibit. Each one was super fun for the kids (and parents!)
The lunch option were healthy and reasonably priced.
The art area is exceptional. Leave a few hours for that area.
We love everything about this place. Well worth the money.
Bill Bowen
This was our second trip to the Magic House. Despite being older, my 13 and 9 year olds loved it. The exhibits are informative and interactive, there is something for all age groups, and there is amazing community support. Check out the St Louis landscape created from Crayons! There are quiet rooms if you little ones, areas for moms to feed the kids, a cafe, and so much more. If you are in the area, go!
Vivek Shankam
This place is a childrens paradise! One day is not enough to see this place! Highly recommend making time if you are in the area.
Elahe Javadi
I have visited twice when I visited St. Louis area and loved this place, my daughter enjoys exploring the regular & seasonal stations. I get discounts for being a member of the children's museum in my hometown if Normal, IL.
Heathora Keith
Great place for all ages and kids with different fancies! Kids can play for hours and hours. Live far away and the family membership has paid for itself with just three visits! Thank you for an amazing adventure! It's grown so much from when I was a child.
Robin Varghese
A fun place for the kids.. Prepare to spend few hours at least to make it worth.
Jill Brooks
The children had a lot of fun. It is geared more for toddlers to maybe 8 yrs of age but still my 10 yr. Old grandson had fun. Children can work at a play pizza restaurant, menus, serving trays and play pizza. Also a shopping store where they can get a basket and shop for plastic food and pretend to scan the items, vet hospital...child can examine a stuffed animal they chose from the cages, give your animal pretend baths and x-rays, a bubble room, a baby doctor's office, and put your head on a magnetic ball and watch your hair stand up, indoor slide, crafts, gift shop, a place to eat and a lot more fun things to do for children, it is aimed at educating children in a fun way!!
Tina pfaff
So much fun as always! Awesome to see that the static ball is still here. It was a highlight when I was a kid and now my babies got to enjoy it as well
David Hayes
A must do for anyone with young kids. This is the ultimate indoor playground with so many educational elements integrated into the play. We went 4 days in a row on spring break (bought a pass after the 1st visit) and the kids keep asking to go back.
kristy Vargas
What a great experience with my granddaughter this place was so much fun, you gottta check it outI’
Rajiyah L
Great place to take the kiddos for so much fun and adventure even my 13 year enjoys going. There's definitely a lot to do keeping my children busy and interested for time to pass. My youngest daughter always like to go to the grocery store and my boys enjoyed fixing on the car. I can't wait to take them again.
Zaffer Basith
This was a great place to visit with my kids. It is a popular place so it will be slightly crowded, and I visited on a weekday. Perfect for ages 3-10. There are so many things kids can participate and learn from. If you're going to visit often, I would suggest a membership. There are also a few outdoor activities as well.
Samantha Hubbs
Great place for kids of all ages! They have done a great job with the STEAM section in the basement level we love going there.
Kevin Petges
Our family made a pit stop in St Louis halfway on our 12 hour journey with 3 kids ages 7, 4, and 1. We decided to check out the magic house while we were in town and we are glad we did! This is a great childrens museum that has so may different areas that keep the kids engaged the whole time. It is also fun as a parent playing pretend with the kiddos as they go grocery shopping or take care of the animals at the vet.
The only downfall is I wish we had gotten there sooner. We didn't get in town until 2 so it was almost 3 by the time we made it there. That 2 hours flew by and we could have easily spent all day here.
The best part is that they are military friendly. Current military members with an ID get in free along with 5 other guests! Can't beat that price action.
Go check out this place with your kiddos if your in the area!
Dan Sun
Absolutely worth the trip for kids. It’s crowded all week long but just goes to show its popularity. A couple of hours can go by in an instant. This is perfect for little kids whereas the science center is more interesting for older children. I have a two year old and a five year old. This is the go to place for them. The only place that beats this is the Indianapolis childrens museum but for the size, magic house definitely packs a lot of fun.
Laura Martin
Great place for young kids of all ages! From infant to 12yrs, there is always a place to play one on one with your children. LOTS of exhibits to learn anything and everything in every educational subject. The only problem is that it gets crowded pretty quick with wildly kids. But it will always be a staple in St. Louis.
Sueanne Cmehil-Warn
So much fun! We took a 2 and 4 year old and tried to keep up. It had been several years and the improvement are wonderful. The current Alaskan display is spot on. Water, fishing, the Blues, air, slides and more. The staff was there with us masked. Great experience.
Donna Martin
The kids loved this place!! Awesome experience! Anyone with kids needs to go! So much for them to do. Was an all day excursion!
Glenda Dowell
fun for the kids. almost tok much fun, they are barely contain themselves. be prepared to go to one exhibit to another. parents were getting worn out but the kids were full of energy. very educational while making it fun. not sure why parents have to pay when there is nothing to do but watch the kids. staff was very good with kids. warning at closing you will see a lot of kids melting down as they don't want to leave, again staff was very good at explaining that they needed time to clean up and go home for more kids the next day
Tony Campati
There are a ton of things to do and see here. A few of the kid's favorites would be they bubble room, the life experiences room that has a miniature bank, power facility, grocery store, pizza shop, auto repair, and fishing area, a huge climbing tree, musical instruments...etc... very fun and we spent 6 hrs there.
Raynique Lee
Absolutely had a great time and are coming back. Fun for the kids to enjoy themselves.
Samantha Gannon
Love this place so much. My kids always have a blast. The staff does an amazing job keeping this place clean and the sanitizer stocked. I wish people would stop bringing their kids in sick though almost every time we go there is a kid coughing with a runny nose.
Cathy Koehn
As someone who has toured many a Children’s Museum, this place is awesome. We stayed for almost 5 hours and could have gone back the next day. The Cafe was good too! It had fresh options instead of a bunch of processed choices.
Graham S.
This place is fantastic! After a long drive with our 2.5 yr old and 10 mo old we went straight to the Magic House for them to run off some energy and it didn’t disappoint. Such a fun place with lots to do. If you go after 3 PM, tickets are only $3. Best deal west of the Mississippi River!
Kelsey Lambert
This place blew my mind! There were so many things to do & somehow my 2-year old never got totally overwhelmed. It was perfectly suited for kids walking - about age 10. We all had a blast though! Highly recommend!
עו״ד יניב פרץ משפט פלילי, מנהלי וזכויות אדם
Amazing pace 4 tje kids. We loved it! please minde that 2 entrys as family = a year family program... And i recomend you to buy 4 a year if you're planing 2 come back...
Jasmen Coelho
This is a great place to take the kiddos! They have things for ALL ages. Usually on April 1st they have half off on their membership. Also everyday after 3 pm all tickets are usually only 3 dollars for kids and adults! It could be crowded at times but the kids ALWAYS have so much fun
Ashley Brown
I loved the magic house back when I was growing up and it was so nice to see my 4 year old love it as much as me. They still have the bubble room and the giant slide!
Stacy McIntyre
It was overly crowded, in 40 years I've never seen it this packed, and I was a member for a few years in the past. We were the first guests in the door and left 90 minutes later. We drove in from out of town, even rented hotel rooms just so we could bring grandkids who live 3.5 hours away and have never been to it. .
A Shoe
Loved it much we turned around and for a membership. So much to do. We have a 2 year old, 5 year old and 15 year old and they all enjoyed it. There were a lot of exhibits adults could enjoy too. Can't wait to go back!
Thach Ho (Taco)
One of my favorite attractions in the St Louis area. Kids can spend hours in here and experience a wide variety of activities that will challenge, educate, entertain and thrill them. Membership is an easy recommendation if you're local.
Lisa Lee
Wow, has this grown! Took my kids ages ago and now the grandkids. Spent 4+ hours, kids ages 2-10. They All loved it!
Christy Hulsey
This is a great place for children ages 4-10! My son is just turned 10 last month in December so he just fell right in the age range! He really enjoyed the construction site in the lower level it was his favorite area! Im glad we went! We may return at a later date this year!
Christopher Cunningham
This Museum was a ton of fun for my 2 1/2 year old. Lots of great exhibits for his age, and they seemed like they could scale up for slightly older kids as well. It was hard to pull him away from anything he found interesting, which was just about everything. They had music, water, sand, a play area, a "town where he could go to the store, bank, hospital, library, PIZZA PARLOR! Just a lot of great things to do on our rainy Sunday. It sure made for a fun adventure. I just wish we had more time to look at all of it before he got too cranky.
Stephy Rose Augustine
My 3 year and 1 year olds were enjoyed a lot and had a lot of fun to play with other kids too. My son has enjoyed every activity and spending 3 hrs at magic house were not enough for them . I would recommend to come early so that they can explore lot of playing options that they will not miss at the end.
Rebekah O'Reilly
Very fun museum, my girls had a blast!! One thing they did here which I haven't seen at other children's museums was have staff in between the large areas watching the doors, that way kids can't run off without their caregivers.
Linda Waller
Always love going to the Magic House! Because of the snow they opened late but they had told me to check their Facebook page for updates so we were aware of the delay. We purchased our tickets thru groupon which made it super affordable for our group of 7. I called ahead of time to make sure we could use 2 groupons at 1 time. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Doesn't seem like the static ball works as well as it used but it's free and you can take your own pictures. Everyone had a blast in our group- kids ages 19, 15, 10, 8 and 7.
Breanne Dover
We love this place, even as an adult. I went as a child so it’s really neat to see all the things that have changed and some classics that has stayed the same (static ball, the little river and town).
Aimee Carl
We have had a membership here for 3 years now and go at least twice a month. Sometimes more. I LOVE THIS PLACE. MY 12, 7, 6 & 3 year old kiddos do too. Every time we go they all cow out with a new favorite. We’ve gone for 8 hours and we’ve gone for 3. It’s just what you make if it. Staff is always welcoming and they try to keep it clean. But c’mon! It’s Magic House! Bums to be messy. Love it. It’s a true treasure to my kids 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Thank You Magic House for being so great for our family
Jordan Uphoff
Great fun for the whole family, went there for the kids, but the adults had just as much fun! We learned about Soo many things and look forward to going there again! Next time we will get there earlier as there is Soo much to do and see. Learning about the history of the building was also very interesting, overall it was fairly inexpensive, had alot to do, see, and learn about! Can't wait to go again! Thank you for the great experience!
Tiffany Cox
My 3 year old had so much fun here. 3 floors of activities for her to do can easily spend an entire day here with how much they have for kids to do. Will be going back when we're back in the st louis area
Andrew Landis
What a great museum. So many different room for the kids to explore and play in. Lots of great interactive exhibits. Was really surprised at how big this place is.
Ruinous Power
A great place for children. The staff were good and did their best to maintain a friendly face despite being surrounded by screaming children. Main issue is that it was absurdly crowded, like British subway during WWII crowded.
Dustin Little
This place is awesome and the family loved it. The kids had so much fun! Highly recommend if you’re looking for something fun and interesting to do in St. Louis.
Kris Kline
Really great place for kids. Our 9 year old really enjoyed it.
As a warning, when summer camps or large groups are there, it can get quite loud.
misty delong
The Magic House is a perfect place to take any kiddo! There are so many fun things to touch, explore, experience and learn from. As a parent to a sensory seeking and autistic child, I wish we had a place like this in our hometown! It's like having an Occupational Therapy appointment and a sensory break all at the same time! If you have a special needs child, make sure to take them on a slow weekend or day. It can get very very crowded.
Steven Baldwin
Great place for kids of all ages. Took our friends and their two small kids there when they were in town visiting for the weekend and the kids had an absolute blast!
Mo Denise
The kids really love it here. I feel like we have the best children's fun, educational and interactive centers here in St. Louis so I don't take this place (or the Science Center) for granted. I've visited a few and none really compare!
Mary K
We enjoy every visit. Our Membership is great bc we can visit for a couple of hours at a time and we don’t feel like we have to do everything in one visit! Always something new! Art room is the BEST!
Sarah H
It is always a great time. It feels endless with the different rooms and spaces to check out. It only took a couple hours to get worn out. Great for kids ages 0-10.
Heather Tullock
Great place for kids. The toddler area is pretty small, I took my 17 month old there and I believe he is still too young for this place. Will definitely return when he's older!
Kira Champlin
Never been here before. Came down for family function and brought the kids here. This place is an amazing place to bring your kiddos for the day and let their brains soak up all the information this place has to offer!!
Sara Balagna
Great place for kiddos, up to age 8 or so. Family friendly, with elevators. Very interesting and stimulating to keep kid's attention.
Monica Ward
Went with my son for his Pre-K field trip and he had a blast! I hadn't been since I was in middle school, and I'm not scared to say I enjoyed myself as well! The staff were super friendly and patient with all of the kids, EVERYTHING was extremely interacting, and I can't wait to take him back!!
Les Thompson
Visited after 3PM, when the entry fee was lower, and grateful that I did, since the entire 2nd floor was closed. That was disappointing since I am aware from many years ago that the 2nd floor houses some fun exhibits.
Julia D
My niece had a blast at the Magic House and so did I! We spent the whole afternoon here. This is such a great place for kids to play and learn.
Kassandra Rodriguez
Fun, interactive exhibits for all ages! We like that they have rotating exhibits that come through. My boys love the balls that light up, and make music! The staff is friendly, and the facilities, and exhibits are clean and in working order. It is easy to park.
Sarah Morel
This place is awesome. Lots of fun for toddlers and elementary school aged children. It has a variety of activities. They have an opportunity for pretend play. For example, they can go to a pizza restaurant, vet, library, grocery store, mechanic shop, and construction sites. The children can create art and lots of STEM activities. They have a 3 story slide and an area about magnets. They have a bubble room and lots of climbing activities. Plan to spend a few hours here. It is a clean place and well staffed.
Lesley Shaw
My family and I moved to Missouri from California not too long ago, so we were in a hurry to find a safe and friendly place our toddler could play at. When we found the magic house we were THRILLED! She had so much fun, and we love how there are endless activities that young children can do. We ended up purchasing a seasonal pass, which made more sense for us. We like to go 3-4 times a month and my child has still not gotten tired of it.
Drew Beckner
We love the Magic House but I do feel they need to have an admission maximum. Sometimes it is so crowded it’s hard to actually move around. I’m interested to see what goes in on the 3rd floor (at time of the review, it’s an empty room).
Tiffany Males
Kids were busy for hours and loved all the hands on learning!
Seth Zerbe
The Magic House offers a ton of educational hands on activities for all ages. We have taken our son to several children's museums and this one has by far been the best.
Elizabeth Donovan
My 2 boys and I had a blast today exploring the magic house. We spent all afternoon there from like 12 till close. Will be back soon!
Alisha Wedel
We love the Magic House. Don't forget the lowest level under the pretend city area that has a ton of hands on STEAM experiences for kids.
Ilan Adler
The Magic House is a fantastic museum that kids will love. They get to play and experience so many things, that even if you allow two to three hours to visit there, you will not get through everything. They also have many exhibitions, which are super fun for kids.
I definitely recommend it for a half or even full day of activities for kids!
Randal j Rhoades jr
Me my wife and our 10yr old daughter went and we ALL had a great time. It's a lot better place than the amazium in Rogers AR.
Dorothy Arbet
Great experience. Would recommend. My nine year old grandson loved it! Lots of walking though
aron furlong
Our kids always love popping by to see when we are in town. Friendly staff and fun stuff for the kids. Definitely Recommend.
Jackie Cody
Very fun place alot for kids to do very busy we went on big truck day not alot of parking. Kids going every which way but fun.It is 3 levels but their is a elevater and ramps.
Byron Thurmond
Great experience for kids of all ages. If you are looking for some cool fun during the summer heat... Magic House could be the ticket!
Angie Tate
Grandsons 3rd birthday adventure.
He loved it.
Nigel
It's nice here. The kids have a lot fun as this placed is geared towards children. I like that there's learning experiences, and there's multiple work stations for kids to play at. We were able to do mostly everything in a couple of hours, but we didnt spend more than like 10 mins at each play station. It was cheaper to get in from 3-5 on a Saturday.
Natalia Rasavong
Amazing place. Kids and adults love it. Three floors of amazing hands on activities. You can spend all day there.
Robert Wuerdeman
Such a great place to take young kids. Parents will have fun too.
Christian J
Great place to bring children from the age of 12m-15. They always have a very helpful and kind staff who keep watchful eyes on the children. We just took our LO (little one) for her first birthday and she loved the toddler rooms so much. Highly recommended.
jlrtvbaw5 zoey
It was nice my nephew loved it I paid in advance and if you do so for the hours of 3:00 to 5:00 everyday it's only 3 bucks a person
Midwest Traveler
I can only imagine that this place is a child's dream. It certainly brought my inner child to life! My son had a blast and stayed busy the whole day!!
Mary Wells
It's really a nice place for the whole family to see. Very educational you and your children can learn a lot.
Kayla Gluck
We visited from out of town with our family. And we love it! What isn't to love about a children's museum? Lots of cool stuff to do with kids of all ages. We especially liked the Toddler Time, allowing us to enter the museum an hour and a half before it even opened to older kids. This allowed us to enjoy a story time and play in part of the museum without getting over ruled by the big kiddos. We really appreciate that. This place is super clean and the staff is all so nice. I wish we lived in the area to visit more than once a year!
Cassandra Nice
Brought our 5 and 3 year old here when passing through as they're a part of the ACM reciprocal network. We're so glad we did! Two rotating exhibits and several other things to do, a construction area, giant beanstalk, musical instruments, etc. We didn't even make it to all the stuff outdoors. Really enjoyed this skyline portrait made of crayons- designed by a H S. Student and built by many more
Micah Usher
A huge place of exploration, learning and adventure. Been coming here since I was a kid and it is gigantic in comparison. Take your kids here, they will love it. At 6'4 I'm too big for the slides, but even for the big "kids" there are many activities to enjoy.
Bobby Tankersley
Had a great experience with the family so much to do for the price! Spent 3 hours and still didnt do everything! Such a great place cant wait to go back!!
Chad Clayton
My daughter loves this place! A wonderful family fun place in St Louis. We will definitely be back. So many different things for kids to do and learn from. The STEAM rooms are amazing. And the staff is enthusiastic and ready to help. Price is very affordable. And if you go after 3:00pm, you only pay $3 per person. 🙂 …
Angela Scheufele
What a wonderful discovery in St. Louis! This place is perfect for children. I would recommend going on a weekday though - it's busy and a bit overwhelming. I can't wait to come back when they have the explore exhibit up! My son loved the train and digging exhibits. Highly recommend!
Samantha Gannon
First off they do an amazing job keeping this place clean. The staff members were incredible. Second my kids had a blast. It was so fun watching them explore. For me it was a little crowded wish they would put a smaller limit on number of people allowed in other than that great place to take the kids
Alex Minson
Great time with my 10 year old son. We did a photo Safari where we took turns taking pictures of each other throughout the exhibit. The vacuum exhibit downstairs and bubble exhibit on the main floor were the most engaging for my son.
Serena Mooney
The best children's museum (and we've been to numerous in different states). Large museum with lots for kids to do. Exhibits cater to a wide range of ages. Our 2 1/2 and 6 yr had so much fun. Very clean, exhibits in good condition, and very courteous staff. Highly recommend!!
Peter Olszewski
Great place for fun. Educational for children and adults!
PAS Weißkopf
Great place to take children for a true learning experience. Three times bigger than I remember it as a child. My grandchildren didn't want to leave.
Lacey Coombs
This place is AMAZING!! It's never ending fun for kids of all ages! My first day in St.louis and it was great! Glad I picked this place for my girls! Thank you for a great experience!
Kyle Jones
Great for elementary aged kids! As a parent, I also had fun. The exhibits are super interactive and the play areas as very well done. The staff is friendly and constantly working to keep areas clean and reset.
The layout is a little confusing with many entrances and exits from each room. If your young ones likes to explore on their own it may be hard to find them as they can quickly leave an area and visit several other floors.
The cafe was fast with reasonably priced delicious food.
Vicky Tusken
What a wonderful way to spend a day! Every aspect of our experience today was amazing. As you move through each "room" children are invited to use their imagination and angage in high interest hands on activities. Don't miss it.
Shantellie FosterBoyd
Went today with my twin 2 year old. They had a early Toddler fun day and it opened at 9. Area clean and the whole place was fun for all the ages and stages of a child. We will be going again.
Crystal Lewis
This place is the best! Fun, educational, creative, and even super clean! We could spend hours there with so much to do! Favorites: the excellent Art area, the big slide, the STEM area, the climbing tower, and the pretend play rooms such as the bank, library and pizza parlor. I could list more!
Pauline
Had my 7 yo niece and my 18 yo with me. We all had a great time! Fun and educational for lots of ages! We will definitely be going back again soon!
Jessica Miller
This is our favorite children’s museum. We visited it for the first time 10 years ago with our oldest and returned for a visit about 7 years ago. We finally got to visit again so our youngest children could experience it. All of our children, regardless of age, loved this visit. The oldest found many things to enjoy and the younger ones have talked about it almost daily since we went! It inspired us many years ago to check out children’s museums all over but The Magic House remains the favorite, best one we have ever been found!
RALPH G
This is a place all parents should attend with their kids or grandkids. What an amazing experience. Believe me when I say everyone will learn something new and exciting. There is so much to see I would plan on a whole day or two!! You will not be disappointed I can guarantee. We attended for a special charity event so I can't say what the actual tickets cost, but whatever, it is well worth it. They also have a yearly membership. The best way to describe it is WOW!!
Warren Beem
No better place in St Louis for the family. Been coming here for 40 plus years and great to be able to take my grandkids.
Treye Nekola
Our kids absolutely loved it. I think we managed to get to every exhibit during our five hours there. When we asked our kids what their favorite part was, they replied with "all of it!"
James Haas
Free parking was super packed, use the Middle School lot if a weekend. Place was super busy on this rainy Saturday. Family enjoyed it and were exhausted after the playing on most of the place. Kids wore out before we saw it all!
Deanne Smith
We love the magic house! AND THE ST LOUIS BLUES!!!!!!! The magic house has so many fun activities for all ages, from the really little ones all the way up to the adults! The exhibits are ever changing so every visit is an adventure! Life long members for sure!
Ash D
This place is a St. Louis staple! The absolute best fun to have with your kids! There is so much to learn and so much to do!
Brittnee Snowdell
Such a fun place to visit for all ages. The magic house is HUGE! We actually went after 2pm and it was the best decision. It was not busy and we were able to get through the whole house fairly easily. Each of us were able to check out and enjoy the many exibits through out the building with little to no wait. Very interactive. There were things for my 2yo, 8yo, 11yo and 35yo to enjoy and keep busy. With such a range of ages it's not easy to find a place that can entertain them all. I loved the toddler area. It was easy to sort of relax for a few minutes and watch my little guy play. If you have a group I'd suggest picking up the buy one get one 1/2 off coupon. It'll help your wallet out a bit.
Palina Akhramchuk
Kids like this place) Here you can find a two-story house inside the building and many other interactive zones (play areas). Even an adult or teenager will find here something to do.
Dottie McGee
A great place to visit with the grandkids my only disappointment was grownups aren't allowed down slides.🤭
Danae Bell
Both our 5 year old and 18 month old had a blast here. It can be hard to find fun things for both age groups but this was a great place. We will be returning again when we are here visiting family.
Nadja Smith
Sooooooooooooooo fun!!!! If you have little ones please check this place out
James A Sullivan Jr.
As a parent of young kids I have been to dozens of different children's museums. This one is definitely in the top echelon of places where you can take your children to have fun and learn.
Christina Nelson
You could literally spend all day here. So fun for the kids to pretend and explore eap if it's cold outside.
Tom D.
Great place to spend the afternoon with the kids on a HOT summers day!! Our little one ran themselves silly playing and learning until they couldn't go any further. Highly recommend this stop if you're not local and repeat visits for locals!
Nikki Carter
There's so much to see and do for kids every age! It's hard to cover it all in one day! I had my parents and my daughter's, 2 & 9, and they had a ball!
Martez Session
It was an amazing experience and our children had a blast!!
Sarah Sall
Always a fun time for the kids and new things every time we've visited.
Jessica Freeman
Used a Groupon and got family of 4 Tix for all day for $29! Worth it for sure. Always a bit busy but totally doable.

What a wonderful time we had! My sister and I have such fond memories of this place as children. It was more than a delight to share it with our own children now. It still delivers. More so now actually. The place has more than doubled in size, and has more things to do in it than one can do in a day! Lots of scientific fun, cultural development, and stimulating centers for play. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
Jeffrey Hendrickson
The kids love it here. $10 per person is nice for a family day out. Lunch isn't over priced.
Molly Ingargiola
So much fun for kids of all ages! Appropriate play areas are available for babies as well as older age groups. Pretend play spaces encourage imagination and creativity, as well as sensory and STEM concepts.
Chelsey Foreman
We took my 2 year old on Friday family night. It is a great place for slightly older kids not the super young. My husband and I did notice a lot of kids being rude and running freely not be supervised by their parent(s). Which made our visit frustrating.
Kane Aleksandr
Very fun place for the kiddos! They have Christmas themes up currently!
Holly Giampaolo
Easily spend a whole day here. Free parking. Indoor and outdoor play areas. Plenty of bathrooms, a Cafe and water fountains for filing bottles. Downstairs art area is a favorite. They also participate in the Blue Star Museum Program!
Jason Sandiford
This is an all day place. We were there for 4 hours prior to close and were not able to see everything.
Sheri Willingham
Lots of fun with little one, they surely enjoyed their visit.
Alan Franklin
Love the magic house. We were a little disappointed that the upstairs was empty and the train portion was closed but the rest lived up to past experiences. Staff was amazing as always.
CHRISTINA SIEBENALER
Great place for family. We love going to the magic house especially when they have new exhibit.
Angie Howe
Keeps my three girls busy for hours. And they are learning! We love the Magic House, and appreciate the coupons they honor as we wouldn't be able to go with out the discounts!
Chera Chapin
We had a great time! An 8 year old, a 4 year old, 3 year old, 2 year old and a 7 month old all playing and happy at the same time!
Samantha Clark
Free family night with the kiddos was great. They enjoyed the facility and its offerings. There were numerous stations to visit.
gwynne jackson
Great fun for the kids. The exhibits change often so the kids will have have new experiences.
Cathy Wild Schuth
I loved this place when I was a kid, and my kids loved it just as much. I suggest reviewing your map (available at the ticket desk) before starting your day to make sure you hit all of your favorite exhibits! My six year old especially loved the Wonder Works exhibit.
Hillary Kaufmann
Such an amazing place for kids of all ages. So much to do, you can spend a full day there.
H. Sanders
Absolutely WONDERFUL!!!! What an amazing place for kids with so much to do! My favorite part was how much was accessible to our son in a wheelchair. So often, places like this are just not designed with accessibility in mind. This place was SO different... For him to be able to drive right up to the train table (most are too low), drive into a little play house (he'd never gotten to do that before due to narrow doorways or plastic thresholds), drive a train and a submarine, etc.... These things meant SO very much to me! My only recommendation is to have more hand sanitizer throughout the house. Otherwise, it was great! We will definitely be back during our next trip to St Louis. Thank you for allowing such a wonderful experience to kids of all abilities!
Amy Fitch
We went with our grown children and grandchildren. It was really busy when we went, so a little hard to enjoy it like we could have. Still enjoyed many things.
Kate Allen
This is not the magic house I remember from when I was a kid. There is so much more cool stuff and hands-on learning exhibits. My 4 year old, my mom and myself all had a wonderful time. You definitely need a whole day to experience all the magic!
Jordan York
A lot of things for kids to do, but wayyyy to crowded ! My kid caught a cold from there
David Clendenen
Great time! We took 5 kids age 1.5 to 8.
shante barnes
#1 Foster parents and their children (and whoever is with them ) are FREE!!!!!! WITH PROOF OF COURSE. Great place for our soon to be 2 year old to explore. He had a great time navigating the entire place.there is lots of seating for parents while the lite ones explore Wich was perfect because we had our 4 month old as well.
It's very clean. The staff sanitize at the end of the day. So coming early is a plus. Less germs 😆
There are also books almost everywhere and we found our fav for the day.
Rykeil Bridgett
I am a mother of a child on the spectrum. I wasn't sure how this experience would go. My son hadn't been around many children. He's three years old btw. His favorite place to play was Wonder Works. I found myself apologizing to every child and adult he ran into and to staff members for the mess he made. Long story short, I had a meltdown. Ann saw me break down and she came to comfort me. She explained to me that this is normal and this is how the children play. Another staff member later told me that she enjoyed seeing him play and that he was having fun and made her day. I truly wish I remembered her name. I do remember that she worked at Disney World and she was fairly new. These words may have been minor to these ladies but they were major for me and my son. Thank you. We will be coming back often perhaps once or twice a week. They have activities for kids of all abilities. I love them for that.
Eric Brands
The museum by what all other Museum's grade themselves!! Our child's been to half a dozen across the country.... non hold a candle to the professionalism, events, and the education the children take-home from this place.
InkubusGaming
It's incredible. The first time I was here, it was a single three floor house packed with wonders. I come back 23 years later with my son, and it's now 3 separate buildings each with roughly 4 floors, 2 parking lots, and packed with families. It turned into a local spot to a massively popular touring destination and I couldn't be more proud of them.
Ciara Harmon
Wish we would have had more time to spend. A little better suited for elementary aged children, but my 14month old still had fun. Some of the staff wasn't very friendly, so that pulls away from the experience a bit. Cool stuff to interact and play with.
Peggy Irving
I thought that it was called the Magic House because it had something to do with magic but it's just a magical place for kids of all ages and you can see sheer happiness in their eyes as they play in so many different places. My grandson loved playing on the white sand tables and the bubbles. It was such a great experience!! We already have plans to return.
Noran Badawi
My kids always have fun here. They are 10 and 8 and still love it.
Ashley Fisher
So very much to see & do, very hands on! We should had planned 3 to 4 hrs to have to to play & not be rushed! Our 19 month old had so much fun! We will definitely visit again when in town!
andrew vigueira
This is a great place for children and families. They have so many opportunities to explore ,play, discover, and learn.
Christopher Dean
Great place to spend the day with the kids. 2, 5 and 8 years old. They all had a blast. It's easy to spend 3+ hours inside this place.
Katie Dixson
Great experience. Our child loved it here. More surprisingly, I had my best vegan meal on our weekend trip at their cafe. Their veggie wrap (ordered without cheese) was delicious. I didn’t not except to be able to eat lunch here, a pleasant surprise! Thank you!
Amber Wrinkle
This place was so much fun! I wish we would've had more time - there is a lot see and do! My boys are 2 and 4 and they LOVED it
vincent TV
Great place to take the little ones. I went along with my 3yr old niece she had a blast running from one thing to the next as she explored the whole place. I especially liked that entrance was free for military families. Regular entrance costs are also an acceptable amount for the time and fun the kids will have. It maybe helpful to bring an additional family members if you are bring more than one kids as they are going to want to run everywhere and play with everything.
Julie D
So many cool areas for kids to be creative in. The Art and Science rooms were great, and all of the pretend play areas were so fun.
Brian Turek
Great place for kids and parents alike! They have a *huge* outdoor sandbox area and, at least during the summer, a big bubble play area.
There are so many activities inside to list but definitely recommend both indoor and outdoor clothes!
Tracy Zumwalt
This place gets bigger and has more exhibits every time we go. Great place for kids to go!
Karen Stobie
Great way for the kids to spend the day learning while playing. Hours of fun at a reasonable price. Average price for nutritional meals. Plus free parking. Fun for one or a group.
Ro Chapo
This place was awesome for kids and parents it's really neat place to go!!
Jeff Short
My kid liked it but they need to update stuff very badly. I understand alot of kids go thru there but when all the interaction stuff that they can do hands on with most of it was not working on the main floor and upstairs areas. 12 bucks isn't too bad for a afternoon, sucks that schools just bring kids there to waste time instead of being in class or just let them out for summer. I would come back probably but it will be a while before we try again.
Kristi Meyers
My son loved it! He didn't want to leave. He cried the whole time where walking out of the place.
Ashley Lambert
There was soo much to do the kids loved it. Will definitely be back
Jessica Flores Sankey
Pretty fun. A bit more crowded than I expected but still nice. Lots of hands on things for kiddos to do. The dino train exhibit was alright, I think I was expecting more from the hype.
Kristen Meuchel
Great for the kids, very hands on. Some hallways and sections were very narrow and hard to maneuver around. So many different activities to keep little ones occupied.
Heather Craft Kislewski
There were quite a few things not working, it's starting to show it's age, but for the little ones, it was still magical! ☺️
Brittany Leonard
This place was amazing. So much to see and touch! Everything is hands on learning they really took time when they put this place together
Robert Jeffers
Great place to take the kids. They have a lot of things to do, and the place is huge. I even had fun.
Ryan Wood
I have taken my kids to children's museums all over the world (e.g., Buenos Aires, Prague, Santiago, Portland, San Francisco, Phoenix, Costa Rica, etc.).
Magic House is by far the #1 children's museum in the world. It has a tremendous educational value, balanced with lovely exhibits that kids love.
Douglas Hutchings
The toddler (3.5) loved it. There was a field trip there at the same time so parts of the facility were overcrowded and noisy with larger kids running wild but the whole family had fun. This was likely the highlight of our trip for our little guy.
Brittany Nguyen
So much fun! I went with my 2 year old and we also had an 8 year old with us. There was plenty for both of them to play with and keep them entertained!
Tiffany Gresham
My children absolutely loved it and didn't watch to leave!! Lots of fun for them!! I do highly recommend buying ticket soiling, and we went for the 3-5 option because it was only $5 a persons instead of 12.
Teal Watkins
After 3pm is $3 tickets. We only spent 2 hours, but could have spent more with ages 3-12
kennetajza mcdonald
We discovered the arts, crafts and science section. We didn't know about that part and was very excited and can't wait to return.
Kyle Schroeder
The Magic House is a must-see destination for families with kids 12 and under visiting St Louis. Always changing, new and travelling exhibits, innovative STEAM stations. Kids love it every time (even the 17 year old has fun with her cousins).
Larry G
It's great, its been the same since I was a child and now I'm bringing my kids to it.
Heather-le Byrd
Fun for all ages, and all kinds of different things. Fun and educational
Syeda Kiran Hamid
Good place to enjoy with kids..
Brian Gates
This is THE ONLY place we go out of our way to buy a membership for every year. We dropped our zoo and science center memberships, but NOT this. Whether you have a 1yo or 7yo, there is something for EVERY KID to enjoy. The best part is there is soooooo much to do that really, you need more than one day to do everything. You can never go wrong or have a boring day when here. Most everything is a learning activity too. So it's fun and educational.
Angee Steiner
So many things for kids to do, my granddaughter had a great time. Simple ideas for activities that teach concepts to help children thrive. We will be back.
DMONEY1644
Fun for the kids as well as educational went for a field trip with my lil 1 school
Jennifer Jackson
It's the magic house. You have to go. Allow 2 hours even if you only have 1 child. There's so much to do. There is germ-ex periodically placed but you might bring your own too. It appears to be actually pretty clean. To the naked eye. We stayed an hour and a half and noticed we missed a lot on our way out.
Alicia Beaty
We have had a membership to the magic house for almost a year now (they always have a half price sale once or twice per year!) and it’s totally worth it. You can dedicate an entire day to just a couple areas. Plenty of educational opportunities as well as artistic expression. They have plenty of events discounted for members, and rotating themes! It’s not too big to where you would easily lose your children. I would recommend at least 12 months or older for the most play opportunities!
Darrah Jean
Always exciting to go here with kids. It's ways changing so kids never get bored!
Dan Krueger
This place has grown I. The last 20 years. Good for kids age 2-9 with target more focused on preschool and elementary educational objectives.Creative preschool interactions with musical I struments, trains, and cultural themed exhibs including dress up, play food preparation and other role play interactions. We did not get to the outdoor playground /'digging' area that looked really fun. Annual membership was very reasonable.
Shyam Maddi
This is place is not for big Kids. Mostly the age between 5- 9 yrs. It was Ok overall.
Derek Henscheid
Didn't even have time to explore half of this children's museum, but what we saw was fun for all with a nice sprinkling of education. Really liked the whole STEM area
Jason W
Always fun for the kids.
It’s really a great time. We spend at least 3 hours there!
Bhuvana Murali
Very entertaining for kids. Can spend at least half a day here. Loved the exhibits on Government. Fun and educational.
Dana Herbst
Went here New Years Eve with three kiddos and myself. The newer house is "ehh, alright" per the kids. We found ourselves wanting to move on quicker from this area. The climbing tree is pretty cool, but you gotta watch your young ones, bug kids will run all over em. The older house was still the favorite.
Lacey Munzer
Love the Magic House in the past. Last time we went was 2018 and decided to go today. Was disappointed to see that almost every exhibit something was broken and made it unusable basically. The one exhibit that wasn’t broken was the kids climbing room and I wasn’t allowed to do any of that with my kid. Bubble room was half working. The buttons on most exhibits didn’t work. The Mizzou room none of the the buttons or digital screens worked. The pulley chairs barely budged even when not sitting on them. The room with the wooden balls, the balls were stuck in the wall. The air tubes that shoot the fluff ball and scarves the latches wouldn’t latch to change path of air. I had a lot of fun in the shadow wall room. The food was excellent in the cafe. I got The French dip and it was great! The staff was friendly.
Erica Mann
Our family loves the magic house! There is such much to explore and learn! Also hands down the best value for a membership. We have been members at the zoo for the past few years and decided to try something else this year and get a magic house membership. 1000% worth it! So many member only events. And the member only events are never very crowded. We have a son with sensory needs and we always go to the member only events bc they are much more calm then normal business hours. Would totally recommend!
Lisa Crowder
Great fun for all ages, and everyone will learn something too. It's hours of entertainment for not a lot of money.
Susan Fischer
Lots of fun stuff in a safe environment.
Jessica Paul
Get here early! We came on a Monday, its $12 a person. There's just too much to explore. It does get very hot in some rooms so dressing down is recommended. I would suggest a backpack to carry art your kids make and not have to lug so much. The India room is my favorite! Also if your kids want to do the maze outside, just do it because when they close it's closed off too even tho its outside😞
Jake Clark
We stayed like 4 5 hours. All the kids loved it from our 13 to 1 year old. All of them enjoy themselves. Would recommend going. And will be back ourselves
C Pope
I haven't been here for years, but we brought our six children here regularly when they were growing up. It was a one-of-a-kind place before their expansion and now is simply amazing. You'll have a great time if you visit.
Heidi Robinson
This was our first time visiting and I couldn't believe how packed it was. We could barely get through some hallways. I could see the potential of kids being able to have fun but it was not possible today. I absolutely could not imagine what it would be like on a weekend.
Steven Brabant
So many things to do and great fun for the kids!
Dan McCormac
Great place for kids. Have been there over 10 times and the kids are never bored.
Wes Ward
Quite possibly the coolest place we've been! The little one had a blast, and so did the adults. It's a lot of fun and great for kids of all ages. There are a lot of things to learn and get to do. Would recommend for anyone with kids!
Zac Davis
My daughter and I absolutely loved this place. Great place for kids
Duo Rose
It was a fun rainy day activity. Definitely not worth the steep admission price. It’s an interesting space with lots of places for our kid to explore. Lots of parts for activities were missing and some things were not operational. In terms of places to go in St. Louis the science center or the city museum were far more engaging.
Mary-Elizabeth Groves
Lots of fun for the whole family. Tbh I'm a big kid at heart. Loved to play pretend with my 2 year old.
Lee Tao
We're from the Chicago area and since having a kid we've been to quite our share of children's museums. Heard some good things and stopped by in the afternoon just before 3 pm and it's much cheaper than usual since they close at 5. We all had a blast, kid and adults. Didn't have time to try everything, will have to come back again. I think with the type of exhibits and activities it's my favorite children's museum I've been to so far. Highly recommended.
Nicholas Nielson
Was unsure about having to pay admission for this place since there are great things in St. Louis that are free. My expectations were blown away! I appreciated the hands on approach with no silly rules about strollers or taking your shoes off. We were there for several hours and didn't get to everything. Bathrooms were fairly accessible. There was a quiet room that was super helpful for us. There should be more of those! We were super impressed and had a great time!
Sufipir 1
Awesome, beautiful place. Fun and knowledge. Everyone enjoying. We visited from Chicago
Shaun Bell
For such a magical place, there sure is a lot of science!
Two large buildings with a central connection make up a combination children's museum, playplace and hands-on science center. Even the adults learned a thing or two!
We were lucky enough to see the Clifford exhibit whole we were there, and contributed tiles for a new art display that should be complete in a few months.
Hailey Hall
Love the magic house! I loved going when I was a kid and now I love taking my children! We drove 3 hours to come here for the day and I'm so glad we did. My 3 year old and 9 month old both had tons of fun. They were worn out when we were done 😁 it was a great way to finish off our summer before school starts. I do wish there was more things for young toddlers and infants
Haylee Brown
This was such a fun experience for our littles! They are 17 months old and had a ton of fun diving into the age appropriate areas they had available (plenty). Such a fun environment, great staff, and lots of interactive play for all aged kiddos.
Angie G.
This place is definitely built for kids. I think going on the weekend around the early afternoon was a mistake though. There were a lot of people and I found it dizzying and felt overwhelmed. My daughter had a blast and that's what ultimately matters.
Natalia S.D.
Great for visiting with the kids, a lot of fun things to do, very interesting and cool. I definitely recommend it.
Christina
Great place for children, everything is children oriented, very interactive, and fun
Lasting Imprint
It is a good place and very interactive for kids but the problem is that it is mostly overcrowded.
We have returned from the parking lot quite a few times now because if we do manage to go inside we would return after 15 minutes because of the crowd, unattended kids not waiting for their turns, and people not watching for toddlers while walking.
Derrick Tung
Really great kids learning museum! We took advantage of the $3 tickets for after 3 pm. Definitely could spend more time here than 2 hrs, as 2 hrs was a rush.
Rachel Kirchoff
Hadn't been to the Magic House in years. Took my 3 years old niece and we had a wonderful time. Getting tickets in advance made for an easy check in. There were definitely a lot of people but still enough to do that you don't have to wait.
Marques Bivins
Absolutely Amazing every time. My kids love the activities and almost go on brain overload skipping from floor to floor!!!
D K
Absolutely amazing place to take your kid. I'd say the perfect range would be 3 and up; lots of stuff to do, but not so much for the little ones. They have a cool little place for babies and small children, but it's just a 20x30 ft space compared to the enormity of the rest of the house.
Brenda Otterson
A fun adult evening for us. Good people watching as well.
Swiley Mokilo
First time coming here as an out of towner. WOW! Overwhelming at first, there is so much to do and see. My two kiddos had a blast. Definately will come back.
DJ Sparks
So much to do. A place to stay all day. A great way to make your kids happy. Definitely will go again and again.
Vish t
Wow, must visit especially with kids when you are in St Louis, MO. So many playing and learning activities for kids.
Just an amazing experience. Hats off to creative team of magic house.
Maurey Hosfeld
My granddaughter, who is 2, had a wonderful time. She played until she was exhausted
Jay Banks
This place is great for all ages. It's pretty jammed packed with so many activities and the best part is level 2. Every few months they change the entire floor into a different culture experience. With so much to see and do everyone will have a good time. I only give it 4⭐ because if your not a member entry can get expense unless you get there during discount hours. And only kids under 1 are free.
Tiffany Brown
Great indoor fun for young kids. My 3 and 4 year olds loved it all.
Jessica Irvan
A must for younger children. 11 and under in my opinion are the ones who enjoy this the most. Every time we visit St Louis we come here. And there are always deals to find and coupons to help offset the $12 each entry price. Friday after 3pm entry is $3 each for example.. I got myself and 3 daughters in for $12 total yesterday!! Which helps ease the cost and made it possible for us to go. As a mom of 6, money can be an issue or prime reason we get to go somewhere extra or not get to go. Thank you, Magic House for offering such great deals!
Tamarra Melawn
We had an amazing time! We did not expect this, but we got in free because my husband is active duty marine!
Matthew Bergholt
The Magic House is simply an amazing place for kids of all ages (and adults too!) to learn and grow. The variety of exhibits and hands-on experiences allow for anyone to find something to be amazed by. From a STEM area and makerspace to a town square to water play and a three story slide, the options are endless. A few tips: 1) If you are a STL local, take advantage of the annual membership for the special events and dedicated entrance; 2) Parking is a premium but there are other options nearby at the elementary school and Lutheran church across the street; 3) Be sure to get here when it opens as it fills up FAST on weekends, holidays, and days off school.
B Nicole
Love the magic house now as much as I did 25 years ago playing there as a kid. My kids love going here and always ask to play at the magic house. So many things for kids to do there. My kids favorite place is the art center and construction zone
Kristine Walkingstick
Such a neat environment! If we lived in St. Louis we would definitely be members! It was a little much for our 18 month old. Some choking hazards in some rooms, but as long as you keep an eye on your kiddo it's fun enough!
Deidra Williams
The Magic House is still as magical as it was when I was a kid. I took my daughter for the first time and she loved it. They have newer activities and a variety of settings to visit. Each level/section had some kind of hands on or craft like activities. Even a section for the Indian culture. There is plenty to do. Thank goodness they have elevators for this multi level fun house. This is a kids busy paradise. The staff is great. The general admission was $12 which is awesome because there is no time frame to adhere to. If you wanna busy the children this is great indoor fun.
Brian Donnelly
What a fun place for kids. Great place to explore and <gasp> learn at the same time. Some of the exhibits did not work properly, but the options and variety made up for them! Take the kiddos here. It does however get loud when there are lots of kids here, so be patient and tolerant.
moneymike abildgaard
I like the magic house, my kids like the magic house...but it's kinda pricey, I guess unless you're the kids creating magic
Mairtin Mersch
Great place for kids to spend the day. Lots of interesting interactive learning stations.
Heather Murray
Incredibly crowded and some exhibits were closed. The kiddos had fun, but I probably wouldn't go again.
Mary Robinson
It was tons of fun. The kids can build and climb. In the inside are crafts and just so much fun in the inside.
Ashley Hoffman
We went at 3pm for the $3 rate on a Saturday which was totally worth it! 2 hours is plenty time for a toddler. We do prefer visiting more on the weekdays than the weekend though as it's just too crowded for me to keep up with a very mobile toddler 😊
chriskennedy100 Kennedy
All the classics from the past generation(s) are still there, and it's really nice that they offer an affordable option in the late afternoon. Some signage could enhance the experience, as would a few fermented hoppy beverage options added to the snack bar to help revive the exhausted adults in the group. Still a great experience for kids, though, and something that St Louis can be proud to have in our city/region.
Viv G
I went here as a child in the early/mid 2000s and today was my first time back since I was in elementary school in 08. Amazing. My toddler-aged daughter LOVED IT and had a fantastic time. Other families were respectful everyone wore masks and social distanced. Gift shop was nice. Staff were helpful, respectful, and just generally made the experience amazing. I had my first good day in a long time since this pandemic began and it was worth the drive from Illinois to have it.
Maggie Brewer
This is a great place for children. Lots of fun as well as a learning experience.
Aaron Cole
First time we have ever been. It was good for the age group. If the exhibits change I think it will be really nice. Anything over 11 or 12 probably won't keep interest...
Crystal Schmidt
Wonderful experience. There was more than enough things for my 14mo old to do! Great for even the little bitty ones. :)
Lindsey Smith
You can spend the whole day here and still not see everything. Lots of learning opportunities and fun for the whole family.
Erick Chomskis
My daughter age 6 had a fantastic day. There was so much to get the imagination flowing.
Matthew Mueller
Great time with our 2 1/2 year old. It took us a little over 4 hours to do all the inside stuff. Only a couple exhibits didn't have something our kid couldn't enjoy. His favorite exhibits were the Dinosaur Train (traveling exhibit), and the construction area. Kid slept in the car for 2 1/2 hours straight on the way home so you know he had a great time!
Tina Williams
I love the magic house and the experience it gives the kids, just wish they would put a limit on how many people are there. Gets very crowded. Several summer camps there.
Pam Callaway
Kids activity galore! With Learning integrated in alot of the fun!!
Andrea Kennedy
Perfect way to spend the day. So many different things to keep the kids busy. Especially good for hot days to stay cool
Ginger Markert
So fun, absolutely a blast for all ages!!
Brooke Rainwater Bate
My four year old had a blast! And he got a birthday sticker from them! He was so excited! We will definitely go again!
Karen Ortiz
I love the interaction between building and child, how engaging it is and the methods it has on teaching children about different subjects. Kids absolutely love this place and I can see why. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
Mary Turner
Really neat place. A little too chaotic for me and my one year old.
Katie Butler
This place is INCREDIBLE. I took my one year old and three and a half year old, and they both had an absolute blast. There are all kinds of different spaces to explore, so you’re never on top of people. Everything is interactive and able to be manipulated through play. A construction zone, a grocery store, science zone, dinosaur train and fossil pit, and that’s not even half of it! It’s free for kids as well, but does accept donations. This place is truly magical.
Kennard Wells
Fun experience and I enjoyed the multicultural sections that explored the diversity in the world. This place is a must go to spot for children in the 3-7 range for sure! They have any and everything that's let's the parents get engaged or sit back and watch the little ones enjoy themselves.
Matt Koepke
A great, fun place for our whole family. I learn something new every time we go. New STEAM area is worth the visit if you haven't been in awhile.
A2 Z
Lots of fun for all kids, all ages. I used a groupon
Ross Braun
Always a fun experience for the kids and adults!
Grayson Hogan
It is great to bring your family and freinds you can do so many cool things with there materials learn how electtry works, what animals look like and so much more but at times it is crowed but overall Greatness!!
Clayton Cravath
Went after three 2 days in a row. Kids had a blast with all the interactive activities
Jeena Ravindran
When we reached first at magic house with my 12 year old, we were confused. All around us were little ones running around. But stem part was really good and kept my 12 year engaged for a long time.
Steven Inge
Awesome place to take little kids, not infants. The food is not the main event but it's good. If the day is too hot, cold or wet, this is a good option to get out.
Bre Diaz
Amazing fun for kids of all ages!! I believe there are 3 or 4 floors plus outdoors... There is sooo much to explore who can keep count?! Currently Molly of Denali, president for a day, construction, gardening, trains, Kenyan culture and life, sand lot, waterfall, STEM, Art Studio, outdoor nature play area, designated area for those 24 months and under... Cant forget the ball that makes your hair stand up AND THE LIST GOES ON. Definitely MUST go in if in town but we go multiple times a year living local because there is so much to do and the kids really enjoy it!
Terisue Pezan
Great staff, really friendly.
Don't feel a 1 yr old should of got charged $12
Parents need to do better at keeping there kids in there age areas of fun.
curtisha litte
Had a blast . Enjoyed myself with the kids . Bad pictures

Way to crowded on Good Friday. Doesn't appear to be any covid protocols in place at all. I don't know what the capacity is but it well exceeded capacity for indoor gathering. Won't be going back unless its during the week when children are in school.

Great experience for everyone! My artsy grandkids, my explorers, my readers, my climbers, pretty much hands-on everywhere! Kids had a blast, no rushing between exhibits, even a quiet calming room was available for those that might become over stimulated. Easy parking. My Only grip was the only available food store was way over priced, stale bread on peanut butter sandwiches, but it was a clean area and very quick service.

My toddler had a ball! We were there for nearly 3 hours!

Kid's had blast there, only regret we could have more time. :)

I took my son and his friend who are seven and five. They had so much fun. We was there for five hours exploring everything. It was not crowded at all, the children never had to wait to do anything. They did a great job of having many sanitizing stations throughout the House. The Hot Wheels exhibit and the Sand Castle were both very cool!

Differently a small kids day out . As a grandparent I just followed and watched my granddaughter

I love how much this place has changed since I was a kid. I got to go when I was little and now my son gets to go

Really enjoyed the hands on learning exhibits for my toddler, will definitely go again if we're in the area. If you live nearby, I'd suggest the membership pass to expose your toddlers and small children to a lot of fun possibilities.

This place is absolutely amazing! So much to do and explore for the kiddos. Our girls were enthralled! This was our first time here and we didn't even come close to seeing everything.
With their covid precautions, we felt very safe. Everyone had masks on and they were constantly cleaning and wiping everything.
I can't recommend this place highly enough if you have small children. We will definitely be back.

Our 2 year old LOVED this place and our 12 year old even had a good time!

There's plenty to do around every corner, although some places might get a little crowded so be forewarned if your family had issues with tight or crowded places

If I write too much you won't read it. So I will sum this up in a nutshell.
I took my daughter as a little girl and now I returned as a grandmother such an amazing place. A place to let your children run free and enjoy their self.

A fun beautiful place with plenty of activities. I took my 1 1/2 year old grandson and we had a ball.

My daughter is 8 and absolutely loved it. The place is a lot larger than I thought, so we were able to enjoy the whole afternoon there.

Had fun we went on a field trip took me back to my childhood with my daughter a good day😁 …

Fantastic. Best place to take your kids. I highly recommend the membership because you'll want to go back again and again. The membership also has great benefits, better than many other places in the area.

Gets pretty packed with little ones running around but it was fun and there were tons of activities to get involved with.

Such a fun visit where my kids imagination can run completely free! I visited on 6/26/21 & my only feedback would be that there were maybe 5% of visitors wearing masks and we all know 95% of the state isn't vaccinated. All said, staff were friendly, most exhibits were working, and facility was clean. Added bonus - we really appreciated the unexpected military discount!

Pretty cool place to take kids or g-kids. Lots to do inside and outside

Lots of fun! We enjoyed it and can’t wait to go back. The art area was a room we especially enjoyed. Friendly and patient staff.

Great full day experience full of so much that even a 3 year old ran out of time to see it all. Some things were broken or not perfect, some exhibits like bubbles require blowing and therefore aren't covid times appropriate. Lows were just-expired chocolate milk at cafe served by a man without his nose covered and the too-hot-for-kids water in the bathroom. The signs around say please let us know if you see something that doesn't work and they were happy to receive feedback on those issues. Things were quite clean and sandwiches was everywhere. Chicken avocado sandwich was delicious and was very reasonably priced, as was the house-made hummus served with a bag of good pita chips. I can see a membership to here would be great if we had more time to return. Entry fee/sticker gets you entry all day, leave and return as you wish.

One of the workers in the STEM was extremely rude about the mask mandate. I was speaking to my child after taking a drink of lemonade and she yelled at me in front of my daughter and proceeded to yell at me and have a snotty unprofessional attitude. Make sure you wear your mask or you will get yelled at!!! Half of the workers had their masks under their nose. Other then that it's a great experience and excellent attribute to our community to engage in children learning and is free with military id!! You can spend all day here and never get bored! Loved it

Always a great experiance here. Friendly staff and a clean facility. A great way to spend a day!

Very special place for us. We visited here on 1/9/2021. We have two daughters and they love this place. They are 7 and almost 3 years old. Perfect ages for the magic house. Highly recommend and very family friendly. What like to add that this place is very busy and has alot of kids and parents so its hard to keep track of your own sometimes.

One of my most favorite places when I was a kid.; thoroughly enjoying taking my lil ones now. Love how they kept the original Magic House stuff and just added on. Very possible to spend an entire day here. Cafe is very reasonably priced with some good options so you really don't have to leave till closing.

Great place to spend all day at. Great for kids from ages 2 - 12 to play and learn.
Daniel Ware
So much to do! For kids 3-8, the value for the money is better than The City Museum IMO.

Best place for children to have fun

There are a variety of areas both indoors and out that the kids can interact with. Nonetheless, it is quite pricey to enter, and there were WAY too many people to access the space at once, making it a chaotic visit.

Such a great place for kids to learn and play at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend
