Reviews of National Blues Museum
R Cusick
Incredible way to spend an afternoon! Give yourself more than an hour so you can read and listen all you like.
So much history. Great tunes. Interactive exhibits. Reminders of musicians you've loved and forgotten over the years.
The museum is taking COVID precautions and you're asked to book tickets starting at a particular time and to wear a face mask.
The employee at the front desk was so genuinely sweet and really brightened my day.
Parrus Eubanks
I had a blast . Ms Debra @ the front desk really looked out for us. She allow my friend and I to bring our loaded Bicycles inside so we could enjoy the museum. Very kinda staff and very lovely experience. Will go back again in the future for some refreshing. ✌🏽 …
C Sparks
I was there during museum hours. It is an interactive museum with the history of blues from Africa to current times and it’s impact on different genres of music . You can even write and mix your own blues song thanks to Jack White.

From WC Fields to Robert Johnson to BB King to Chuck Berry to ZZ Top to Valerie June, this covers the vast history of Blues music in the US and even abroad. Fun to see the old sheet music, the instruments and even stage costumes. There's a cool interactive "write your own blues song" set of touch-screen computers… as well as instruments to play, films to watch, and boys and classic rock legends to add to your digital playlist. Very fun. Wednesday nights (and maybe others nights too—I'm not sure) the Blues Museum has a jam session—sign up to get on stage and play or sing your favorites. Worthwhile for any music lover.
Alfred Bellanti
Loved this place! It had many exhibits and when I was in my early twenties
many of stars exhibited were my favorites of the time.
Michael Piggee
The museum was just the connection I needed to my cultural roots. The experience involved not just seeing but actually being a part of it. The interactive "Make your own blues record" was so much fun that I lost track of time. If you visit St.Louis make this part of your itinerary you will not be disappointed.
Frank LiBretto
Very cool interactive museum if you are into music and want to learn the history of the blues. There are so many artifacts and things to read which tell you all about blues and its origins. Laid out in chronological time order you easily progress through the decades of blues music history.
Carlos Babcock
Must stop on your visit through town. The tour through the museum will take about 45 minutes. Great interactive exibits. The is a also a gift shop. The staff is so friendly and helpful. One of the three museum must sees on your visit here; also the City Museum, and SLAM, the St. Louis Art Museum.
Sport Smith
Fun tribute to Blues music. Interactive displays as well as art and memorabilia.
Andrew Burton
What a great museum. Fun, interactive and novel.
Mark Parham
There were a lot of informative displays to read. I would have liked to have heard more music in the museum. There were a few relics on display like clothes and instruments from blue artists, but I would have liked to have seen more of that type of stuff.
Sandra Stoops (Sandy)
Plenty of parking in the back for a fee. I was lucky enough to find a spot on the street. I love the blues, so I loved everything about this museum. Well put together with plenty of displays. Just beautiful and packed with lots of information. They have a really nice gift shop and souvenirs were affordably priced. If your in the area be sure to stop in.
Jessica Patalano
AMAZING history and exhibits. The styling of each exhibit was very clever and there are quite a few interactives, including creating your own blues song as you travel through the museum. The staff was so friendly and come with so many recommendations if you're visiting from out of town. DEFINITELY recommend!
Barbara Jackson
I was in attendance at the National Blues Museum as a guest for The Black Repertory Theatre hosting a Holiday Happy Hour & subscription drive.
Tracy Banks
A nice intimate club with live music! Great food next door at Sugarfire!!
The drinks were so good too!! Cheers to the bartender!
Alex Demas
After having toured the Delta Blues trail in Mississippi and Memphis, we really enjoyed this museum. This place did a great job of showing the interactions between Blues and other musical genres and how they interplayed. We also really liked the number of interactive parts that walked you through how the Blues musical form worked.
Ashlie Jermaine
Every Thursday they have a Blues Jam session that they call "Sittin On the Porch". Musicians and vocalist can come in, sign up, and play/sing. It's all unrehearsed and best of all, FREE!! I got up there and sang for the first time last week. It was awesome!!!! The musicians and host are all very welcoming and friendly. And the talent....😱😱
They recently began live streaming on Facebook. Check it out on their Facebook page!!!
Also, if you get hungry, they allow you to bring food in, but only from the restaurants near by, such as Sugarfire which is right next door. And there's also a bar, but the place is still family friendly. So, you should totally check it out!!
Theodore Mall
A comprehensive compilation of the blues and jazz movement in the USA from the early days when blues emerged as self expression of slaves to it's marriage with jazz and public acceptance that grew with time. Nice collection and a concert venue with regular performances.
Nannette Banks
We wrote our own song and felt accomplished. Such an easy paced place with much to learn and enjoy. Howlin Wolf continues to be a star. By the end of the tour we had chosen Blues names for ourselves Uncle Ornery featuring Lil Ma and Blue Eyed Hazel. A memorable place to visit again and again!
Mike Anderson
I absorbed it all and wanted more. Worth it.
I was however disappointed the gift shop did not have any music for sale of the artist talked about, minus one 3 disc compilation set.
All in all, I would come back
Felipe Marino
Little expensive for the experience (15$) but amazing content inside, you will learn a lot about music timeline since the origins of blues and you can play instruments and make you own record in a game as the visit goes forward that they'll send to your email
Jake Brandt
Fun interactive museum that let's you experience the history and evolution of blues music.
Mama D Ferguson
Thursday night Sitting On The Porch Blues Jam Session was on time! Great way to celebrate any special occasion or to just hang out and hear some blues FOR FREE! The Legend David Dee did his thang!!!
Chase Cook
Amazing self-guided tour. It was fun to just wander around and learn more about blues than any other place I’ve been.
Christine Laffoon
This is a little gem of a museum located in downtown St Louis. It was not busy at all, but housed a wonderfully done set of exhibits including a ton of information about the early blues Legends. I especially enjoyed the interactive exhibits as well as the collection of photography. The lady running the gift shop was kind and informative. If you love The blues, this would be a great stop!
Diana Johnson
Great price and location. Smaller music museum, but worth the stop. I gave it 3 stars due to content/exhibits being more tailored to blues-influenced musicians than the actual blues players. I saw nothing on Billie Holiday and only small snippets of others, Count Bessie, Robert Johnson, Etta James, etc.
Joshua Fraser
Not the biggest or most expansive Museum, but the trip through was extremely enjoyable, and informative. The combination of media, just the right amount of memorabilia, and interactive displays was really a great experience. Connecting Blues to Gospel, Jazz, Rock, Hip Hop, and Social media phenomenon shows it's really a music for everybody.
If you are looking for a boatload of photo opportunities, this might not be the museum for you, but if you are looking for the continuing story of the backbone of American music, this place is excellent. If I had to knock anything, I'd like some non-linear elements, and maybe one section, say in the photo gallery, where there was a docent (maybe a musician) explaining elements of the blues, and playing with a tip jar.
I've been to several linear topical museums like this, and by far, this one is the best. If it were in a wing of the Smithsonian, it wouldn't be out of place.
If I lived in St. Louis, I would volunteer to be a docent. Haha.
Robin Baine
Great history of "st. Louis" blues. Nicely laid out and great displays. So glad we stumbled upon it. We we're lucky they were having an event and we stayed to enjoy that as well.
Chavette Terry
I came back in 2017 they were doing some renovation it was nice then, I visited 2022 beautiful everything was so beautiful, excellent museum everyone should come and see it, awesome experience.
Mark Chang
Enjoyed the visit.
Nicole Ewing
Such a lovely place to visit and learn. The make your own blues song was super cool.
Sammit06
A must see for all music lovers! I only wish there was more! Luckily we were told a new exhibit is coming soon. We saw a Sunday show in the intimate venue, loved it. SugarFire shares the building, but if you're wanting to eat come early! Their line is out the door in the afternoon and they sold out on memorial day before 7pm. The museum is expertly done. Its fun and entertaining, and the offer if live music for only $5 more is a steal!
Jamae B Fusilier
This was fascinating, informative, and such a glorious way to spend an hour of our day! Deborah at the ticket desk is a LIGHT and the kindest person I've ever met. The entire exhibit is a walk down memory lane for music my parents would talk about! And music we listen to now! Definitely recommend this tour and the gift shop is great!
Kevin Lovell
Found this place after eating next door. They had live music playing and shares bathroom with the resterant. Deb at the front desk spotted us and asked what we had planned for the evening. The museum was closed but the theater hall was open. It was our last night in town and we where just headed back to the hotel, but after she talked to us we decided to go check out the live music. This was a Thursday night and there is free admission and they even have a bar with affordable drinks. My entire family had a great time even the kids. This is like an open jam session so there was a bunch of different instruments and everyone did a great job lots of talent in that room.
Caroline N
Loved I, but wish it was bigger to equal the effect Blues has had on music as a whole.
Venice Vandivier
It was very educational but lacked actual memorable items.. Had some great interactive activities.
JP Allen
I was a very nice museum but I wish that they had more. It contained many stories and pictures of the important cultural impact of the blues on America, but I would have liked something more. No Lucille? What about a guitar played by Matt Murphy or Lead belly? I really enjoyed the make your own record experience.
Nicolás Bronzovich
Very good place about blues history and influences... On my view, it is lacking the blues expansion over spanish talking americas... examples like Norberto "Pappo" Napolitano or La Blusera for instance
Eduardo Sequeira
They have live music 🎵🎶 very often. Close to Sugar Fore where you can order food.
John Joseph
There is so much to read, see, and interact with there. I only wish we did not go so late in the evening to fully enjoy the facilities. It also made me have a greater appreciation for the genre of music and for those who gave so much to it.
Rulookinatme2
What a great place. So much history, so many good stories, and tons to learn!!
Lamon Pickens
Had a very good time
My Sis Ladyj Huston on Trumpet with her band
Ken Long
Smaller museum but it is a nice museum. (The restaurant next door is also good.)
Tim Janitch
Cool place. Nice displays and very interesting.
Jessica Missey
This museum was great. As someone who wasnt very familiar with the history of the blues, it was very informative. For my boyfriend who is a huge blues fan, he loved seeing exhibits about his favorite artists. One of our favorite stops in St.Louis!
Aarochele Kaplan
It was a really fun way to learn about the blues!
Cindy Middendorf
This museum was surprisingly good!! It walks you through the history of blues, its origins, and its influences on other genres through current day. It features many photos and information about blues musicians, their influencers, and those they inspired. There was an extra gallery with a special exhibit of photos of blues musicians. There are video clips of blues musicians performing. The most unique feature is the interactive musical activities that allow you to play the spoons, washboard, shakers, etc, along with musicians on a video screen. Also the writing of blues lyrics, and playing guitar or piano on a touch video screen. I enjoyed it and think kids would like the interactive activities too.
Jaramaine Taylor
Learning the history of the Blues was very interesting! This is a nice facility! I believe it was worth the money. Don't think very young children would like it. I went alone just so I could really take it all in.
Kevin Bird
Awesome museum. Great interactive displays that take you chronologically through the history and significance of the Blues. Friendly staff. I really enjoyed the interactive jug band where you play an instrument and sections where you listen to original songs with the modern inspired music back to back.
LaTricia Clark
Great experience music and engagement was truly electrified. !! Great staff and service!!
Victor Migneco
A must see for all interested in the blues. Top notch exhibits will keep your attention. Stop for a photo with a blues band.
Tom Mabrey
Small museum appx 10 rooms or so. Probably under 2hrs visit if you read everything and interacted with all the exhibits. I really enjoyed it. $15 adult. Hard not to buy a few momentos in the gift shop too 😎 …
David
Lots of history and many fun interactive exhibits. Loads of pictures and art, iconic costumes and a fairly priced gift shop.
Charles Long
Very detailed with many exhibits and history of many musicians
Evan T
Short and sweet but with alot of things to study. The cigar box guitar section was so cool. Wish it would have been a little longer. But the displays and the interactive stands are a lot of fun definitely would recommend. Just wish there was even more.
anna allen
Love visiting the National Blues Museum. Great exhibits & fun interactive musical experiences.
You can hear some fabulous live music performances...my favorite was Lady J Huston Show on Soulful Sundays. Have enjoyed her tribute to Albert King show twice now, last time with special guest Shirley King ( B.B. King’s daughter). WOW...top notch musicians... what a show!!
Russ Franklin
Loved my time in St Louis and touring the blues museum!
Charlie Boyce
Fantastic concert venue! Excellent sound and lighting. Not a bad seat in the house. Lamont and the Hadley Band are terrific performers that totally engage with their audience.
The Museum is well done with great photos, stories and memorabilia. This should be a regular for St Louisans that appreciate the Blues and R&B and a must stop for St Louis' visitors.
KING Cody
Best time every to learn about history
Gregory O'Neill
I loved the National Blues Museum! It was interesting to read about the effect that blues has had on non-blues artists. Blues impact is audible in the works of traditional pop and rock artists such as the Rolling Stones, The Beatles, and Eric Clapton. I appreciated the inclusion of these artists in the displays. I also enjoyed the kiosk where you could mix a blues track.
Gary Barr
I went expecting to be done in 15 minutes, but was pleasantly surprised with a tour through Blues history. As promised by the ticket agent, one area will have a bunch of blues musicians I've never heard of, but that was an awesome part. Seeing the rich history of blues and the people that gave the music heart.
There are a lot of interactive exhibits that are a lot of fun. Like stepping up the mixer board and learning how that job can make all the difference in how a song truly sounds. Mix it one time with a harmonica sound turned up, then put it in the background and turn up the guitar to find out you made a completely different song.
We also loved getting to play in the virtual blues band. When the lights kick on and you are displayed up on the video board playing your instrument along with the other players, it's fun... Even if you don't know a thing about making music. It might sound dorky, but it wasn't. My wife and I loved it. There are plenty of other interactive displays also.
We had a great time on our visit and very glad we went. If you are visiting St. Louis like we were, I highly recommend this visit and then head over to Pi's Pizza across the street. That combo gave us a very enjoyable afternoon.
Beth Massey
Loved the Muleman's performance! Everyone at the National Blues Museum we're super nice!! Great atmosphere!
Rock Hunter
Definitely worth the visit. Happened to be there on a Thursday so we stuck around for the "semi-open Mike" performance that night in their stage area. Highly recommended. Small bar inside for beers to drinks. Grab food next door at the bistro or BBQ or wherever you want and bring it back. All seating was at tables. A great evening of local blues performers.
Robert Lister
Visited last week and it was a great experience. My wife and I attended the Thursday night jam session and were pleasantly surprised by the experience, not to say that we had low expectations, it was far better than we could have imagined. Three hours of fun live music and a few performers that left us in awe. For us the standout was a harmonica player and vocalist named Chuck Loeb. The best part is that these happen weekly, are free to watch and are live streamed so I can watch them weekly in Utah. I only wish they would list the names of the people who performed so I could mention more of them, it was really that good.
The next day we toured the museum and it was a cool experience. It is a basic museum but does a good job explaining the history of the blues in a way that anyone could understand. There are volunteers who are very helpful, the volunteer when we visited was actually Chuck Loeb and I couldn’t have been more pleased and he couldn’t have been more helpful. He even fired up the player piano and showed some of us how it is played.
This place is a must see when visiting St Louis and I will surely be back.
Matt Marshall
This is a beautiful museum! State-of-the-art, fun exhibits, great blues art and memorabilia... Worth two trips! And Sugarfire is next door, which you can't beat.
I just wish they'd do more with the gift shop, but that's sure no reason to stay home!
Jess “The Joyologist” Thompson
I really enjoyed the interactive features. The individual combinations of each instrument followed by the collaborative sound that makes up the Blues provided a deeper appreciation of the music. Rich with nuggets of history and entwined with relevant facts to truly paint a greater picture.
Julie Christianson
Go. To. The. Live. Shows. Thursday night porch jam is free and on fire. I wish I lived in this town because it was so incredible. The musicians are amazing. It's fun and organic and totally worth it. I just wish the museum was open during the evening because I couldn't get there during my work day. Can't wait to come back!
Piano Dan
The best of the best seem to play here. No matter who is on stage you'll be entertained fully.
PIANO DAN - St. LOUIS
Mark LoGiurato
Good place to grab a drink and listen to jazz.
gwen fosdick
Great museum. Blues in the block was awesome too
Oliver Prince
This place is worth a visit. The museum is nice and some times they have special events with blues singers.
There is a lot of history here and they do a good job of letting you know how St. Louis contributed to that history. You could easily spend all day there.
The gift shop is typical museum fare which is unfortunate. May not be good for small children because there is a lot of walking and not many places to sit.
When you are done go to the BBQ joint next door and then take a nap.
Colton Newlin
Fantastic experience at the National Blues Museum in St. Louis! The tour is interactive and immersive. They welcome groups, and provide personal tours of the museum by highly trained tour guides that have the answer for any question you might have. As you go through the tour, you can create your own blues song at stations along the tour. At the end, you can choose to have your song sent to you via email. They also feature live bands, and invite the locals and tourists alike to attend concerts on sight featuring blues bands. This is a family friendly museum, and a great place to learn about St. Louis history and culture.
Tony Buck
When you have a museum that is specific like this, is not very big. I was disappointed, but totally understood. I still enjoyed my visit here, and learned some things I did not know. I bought a blues compilation CD from the gift shop. I really enjoyed listening to it. If you visit st. Louis, and you appreciate the blues, you should definitely visit this museum.
Bryce Caster
This museum is a wonderful asset to downtown St. Louis. The exhibits are beautiful and they host plenty of concerts throughout the week. $15 is a bit steep since the museum isn't that large, but it's still very much worth checking out.
Allen Haynes
Nice little get away to learn about the history of blues. You explore on your own and read. I thought the space was bigger and a lot more history. We enjoyed it and the gift shop.
Bramine
Good museum. Lots of fun activities to look at. You can learn about musicians, make blues music, learn about the history, and many many more things. And it's all kid friendly. There's also an open mic dinner for aspiring musicians.
B Hermann (BH)
Very interesting from start to finish. Interactive as well. Exhibits are so interesting and informative. If you love any kind of music you realize when you leave here, the blues has certrainly influenced all genres! It took us 2 hours to walk thru and we did not do interactive exhibits. Will go again!
Jackie Shelby
Great music and wonderful employees and volunteers.
We will miss our friend the late Big George Brock and his family.
Sugerfire bbq next door is so good.
Can't wait for quarantine to be over
Stephen Gerring
I live in St Louis and would highly recommend this to out of towners. Great BBQ place next door. Museum is very well done. They did a lot of good work putting this together, go check it out! Great venue for live music.
Space Potato
11/10 was a blues museum.
Nathan Hempel
Didn't get to stay. They were packed for the show and sold out. Miss Jubilee is one of our family favorites. But can't wait to go back and check it out. It looked really cool and that was just what I could see from the front door...
Alyssa Renaud
Our non-profit group attended the Thursday night live music. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
Matt Higgins
If you love da Blues, this is the place to go in St Louis for the history of this genre of music. Great gift shop at the end of the self guided tour. You can take a half hour or as long as you want.
More iz Lyfe
A beautiful journey through the blues and how UT has impacted all genres of music worldwide. ADOS culture finally getting recognition for a great legacy they created.
Mike Brimmage
What an absolutely amazing music experience!! The Lamont Hadley Band performed live! Phenomenal musicians and great interaction with the audience! Got the tour and a 2 hour concert for $25!! It’s a MUST see when in St. Louis!
Dean Hoover
Wife and I are huge fans of old-school blues music, so when we saw that there was a museum for the blues in St. Louis we had to take a peek. Very nicely presented, the staff was very friendly, and the prices (even at the gift shop) are reasonable. If you even like blues music, make sure to stop and visit.
William Baumann
A wonderful place long overdue. I especially like the way that they recognize some of the current players in the area although I wish more of them were featured. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It looks like they've got room to expand which I hope they do. Maybe a monthly feature propping a current local group or individual?
Christina Carrillo
The museum is beautiful and so well done!!! Wheelchair accessible, open Wednesday-Sunday 12:00-5:00. Gift shop on site.
Michael Scherette
It's ok. I've been to other music places (Memphis, Nashville, Cleveland, etc.). Those were better but if you like music and especially the Blues then, sure add it to the list. $15 and you're out in an hour.
Karenda Willson
Michelle really earned the 5 stars for the review. She gave us a history lesson on every item we purchased. She gave us info for the metro and every must see while we are here. Great place to visit.
Anthony Munns
Ok museum for those with ADD. Only takes about an hour to walk around two if use all the interactive stuff that is aimed more at minors. It's more "a brief history of" rather than a true museum. Some notable exceptions though, no Etta James or Billy Holidayn or the cotton club. It is entertaining and worth the price though.
Df W
Love it
Eh-meh
Really great history in the museum. Fun to build your very own blues song, and interactive displays were cool. Disappointed that photography only allowed in certain areas.
Greg Wyatt
A beautiful little gem in the heart of the Lou.Live music, too.
T. Gafford
One of the best musical jewels of STL. Up close & personal Blues musicians from the best local & national Blues talent. Always a good time. Their FaceBook live videos is a must for Blues connoisseurs. On another note, please hire a knowledgeable bartender.
Michelle Redmond
First time there. Really nice, informative and interactive
Robert Gates
The museum was absolutely phenomenal. The people working there were also great. Very much worth going
Edward Perrin
I liked going to the National Blues Museum to look at stuff about the Blues.
Bonnie Anderson
Really worth it.
James McPherson
Good history of the blues, both past & present. Staff is super cool also ! And you can create your own blues track and mix it in a sound room provided by Jack White !
Jessica Ayala
Staff is so inviting and engaging! The museum basically was a timeline of the blues with a few digital interaction features. I loved how the gift store sold NHL St. Louis Blues apparel! Also, LIVE MUSIC!!!!!!!
BobKaren Brown
The history of the blues. Lots of memorials to early artists. Has music tie-ins to modern rock and country. Live performances in evening included with admission fee.
Mike Halstead
If the blues and its influence are something you are into it is worth it to go. Very nice.
Tammy Arnold
AhTim & Betsy were fabulous hosts! Great museum!!
Mark Zeman
St. Louis is home to the National Blues Museum (on Washington Ave.) which outlines the origins of the Blues and its influence on Ragtime, Jazz, Folk, Rock and Rap music. Great displays but surprisingly few artifacts -- mainly photos and text.
T. W - Ruiz
Awesome place to visit. Check Groupon just in case. If you want to eat next door, at sugar fire go early. I went during the day. I loved the interactive exhibits
Reed Radcliffe
Great venue for live music and an informative and interactive museum. We went to a great benefit show tonight. Had a wonderful time!
Russell Oakes
Highly recommended, check out the Cigar Box Guitar exhibit
Sandra Preiss
Ok, so this is a really nice museum BUT the coolest feature of this museum is NOT conveyed well. Using the interactive audio stations throughout the mueseum, you create your own song and subsequent albulm.... so take the time to enter your email and use each type of recording station. Also, it was a bummer that we couldn't collaboratively listen to the track while creating it (there is only one pair of headphones at each station).
Mary Lou Hymel
Excellent history of blues music! Listen to standards by different artists. Make your own blues song! Next door to fantastic St. Louis barbeque!
Val S
This was my 1st visit. It was a neat place and they gave lots of good info on the tour. At the $15 per person price, it's not a place I'd frequent, but I enjoyed it.
Cathy Holtwick
Great museum - history about the music that St. Louis helped to shape! Some interactive displays.
Maddog
Any blues fan is going to love this museum. We had a great time touring the facility and enjoyed the live music. Very nice!
Karen Halliburton
It was a Brunch. The music was phenomenal, but the brunch food was just mediocre. You are paying for the entertainment!
Linda Chappel
It was an eye opener 2 learn the history behind the music, they have some interesting things to put you in the mood for making music, and keep enjoying the music, this place take(s) U back to the place these pioneers ideas kindle from, the people who inspired them, especially those who created or helped them onto a path to boost their creations....
Brandon Buchanan
I went here with some friends who were more interested in Blues than I was, but I was really surprised how much I enjoyed attending the museum and learning about the history of blues.
Sarah Rose
I loved going here! I love that it is downtown, in the heart of St. Louis. Such history here! I love how interactive it is for visitors and full of such adventure. Great job!
Milton Kendrick III
Great small concert space and audio!
Shelly Ralph
Fun and educational. They had interactive displays, videos, as well as pictures and artifacts. Make sure you have plenty of time to experience the museum.
Rich F
If you are into music and epecially the blues, you must visit this museum.
They also have live music.
Great people and an awesome venue.
jay scherder
What an incredible place! Be sure you catch some music here.
Annette Bridges
The music was excellent. However, the Executive Director, seemed ill-informed on the subject of the Blues or St. Louis' place in the evolution of the genre.
Randy Bronson
Learned a lot of history I had not known. The passion in this music is amazing. Enjoyed creating my own v
Blues song.
Kirk Wheeler
Was very problematic getting into the area because of many barricades. My gps went😖😵. Found meter on 7th st. Really close. No tickets I'm sure because of respect! Cool STL . GREATER SAINT LOUIS 🎉 …
susie kinlock
Loved the whole experience. There were several interactive exhibits. Great value overall. We learned a lot and had fun!
Mathew Schelsky
Very nice environment, the employee working the gift shop/ticket counter was not the best, but overall it seems like a really cool museum. I unfortunately did not get to explore too deeply.
Danie Thornton
Very informative and we loved creating our own songs on the interactive exhibits.
Nitish Jaiswal
A must visit if you're in St.Louis! Explains the history behind blues. Have a great open jam on Thursday nights too!
Michele Shopland
This place was totally amazing!!! The lady at the desk on 11/13/21 was super kind!!! Loved her personality!!!!
Emilia DeBassige
Wow, I had a few extra hours before I left to the airport and this was a great way to spend it. Staff was also pleasant and allowed me to leave my luggage at the ticket office.
Brian Rudnick
Can walk the whole thing in about 90 mins, some fun interactive exhibits and lots of information. Gift shop did not have many items.
pnina allali
Absolutely fantastic. Loved every second spent there. The highlight of my St Louis visit
Jan Kaufman
Great history museum of the Blues through the decades. I never realized the true origin of the Blues. All the credit does not go to Louisiana!! LOL
robert hartman
Really fun place. Learn more about the origins of blues and how blues helped shape the music of today. Awesome time.
Stan Adams
A great experience, interactive displays, informative. Very well organized. If you're in the St. Louis area don't miss this gem.
Jeff Bayer
It was a wonderful history lesson. If you are into interaction exhibits this place is for you.
