Reviews of Utah Sports Hall of Fame Museum
Randy Burgoyne
What a fun place! Great displays, interesting memorabilia, and interactive videos to learn about the great athletes and coaches of Utah! Every year a few more inductees are added. So great to see videos and remember those great sports moments. I was surprised how many of the individuals I knew about and even a few that I've met in person! Free entrance (donations are welcome). Swing by while you are at the City Creek Mall - the museum is on the street level, just north of Nordstrom.
Traveling Foodie
This hall of fame is focused on Utah athletes and it’s pretty interesting. It is smaller than expected, but free admission which is great. Their VR wasn’t working, but aside from that it’s pretty interesting. If you are interested in seeing sports history this is a cool place for you. We spent about 5 min here but you could probably spend up to an hour.

Amazing and full of little pieces of Utah state hall of fames.
Bruce was an amazing guide, recommend to everyone to go
Phillip Hilton
What a fun, hidden gem in the middle of downtown. It was a very interactive experience. The staff was knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. It is a shame that it is kind of hidden and tucked away at City Creek and not more noticeable. I talked about it all day.
DJ 60 Seconds
This museum is quite amazing, the man working there was extremely nice and you can tell he really was interested and telling us about Utah sports history, he showed us some awesome Utah Jazz memorabilia and told us some amazing stories about people in Utah sports history, very interactive, definitely definitely worth a visit!
Josh Horowitz
My dad and I were able to visit the Utah sport hall of fame. Mike gave us a full tour of the museum and was very helpful. He was very knowledgeable and made the visit definitely worth it. I would highly recommend people to check out this museum when they are visiting Salt Lake City. Thanks again!!
Lyndsay Forbess
The man at the counter was very knowledgeable of everything in the store. The interactive section was very fun and informative, the VR bobsled experience was worth it to see what it was like to do so. You can also test your knowledge of different sports and see how much you really know. Definitely bringing the family back.
Bill Duffy
Bruce is the friendliest and most knowledgeable host. He is an incredible resource for your museum. The layout was intuitive and I was able to find the honorees I already knew of and learned much about Utah's rich sports history. I appreciated your honoring of coaches and sports administrators.
Carol Fleming
This place is a hidden gem! Enjoyed our visit. Kathy was so friendly and informative. I highly recommend spending some time viewing the artifacts; watching the videos; and learning about Utah’s Inductees into to the Sports Hall of Fame.

Hello,
We got a wonderful hour in this Museum!
Sports is great and i Love it.
We have a great discussion with the guy in the Museum. It is perfekt, that such places are there to spend time.
For the Guy in the Museum (i forgot the Name) - as spoken, you are invited to The meal in Germany 😉

5 star and I am not a sports person!! My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this museum during our Saturday walk and I’m so happy we did. Bruce was absolutely wonderful, he was knowledgeable and friendly, sharing his own insight into sports history and Utah in general, and letting us go at our own pace but popping in to suggest and share what we should do next based off of our own interests. He was also helping other customers at the same time. Truly sweet and thoughtful guy who made every walk-in feel welcomed and valued. We spent around 2 hours in the different rooms exploring sports history- there’s a perfect mix of nostalgia and modernity. It’s high tech: large scrolling touch screens to choose which hall of famers highlights to watch, a room of memorabilia and sports uniforms, even a section with 4-6 VR sets to wear and participate in luge. Great for all ages, little ones and older ones. Thanks Bruce for a visit we’ll never forget 😊 we learned a lot and we’re happy we stopped in. Highly recommend to anyone nearby.

I was attracted by the Utah Jazz poster and went into this small but fine sport museum.
The staff is so nice and friendly there. He walked with us and showed us the rich sport history of Utah.
Melinda Bon

My husband says the only downfall to this place is he didn’t know about it sooner. Such a wonderful museum for sports and non sports individuals. Fun, informative, interactive, and great staff. We always visit when we make our way to Salt Lake.
John David Mortensen
Kathy was a great tour guide! We loved the UT sports history, read familiar bios, and got pictures next to Karl and John! Recommend it to all!
Brad Blair
Our visit was an unexpected treat. Headed for the Mormon Tabernacle we walked right past the HOF and wandered in. What a delight.
Our greeter showed us how the interactive displays worked and we learned that even though we’re from Michigan and she was from Utah - we had a number of shared experiences and athletic aquantances.
Worth a stop if you’re in the Temple Square area.
Janson Pace
They have done a phenomenal job here putting together great memorabilia of the greatest athletes and coaches that have represented Utah throughout the years. We were fortunate to show up on a day with some of the legends I'm the museum. I got to meet and chat with Vernon Law, a World Series Pitcher for the 1960's Pirates. It's free to get in and totally worth a few minutes.
Aaron Stuart
Wonderful experience. Fantastic staff. Always fun to learn about Utahs athletic legends, great place for families. Wish there were more places like this.

Took my 3 children to the museum as they love everything sports and being from Utah and getting to see the athlete's related to Utah sports made it that much better. Bruce made their entire museum experience a great one as well. He was very interactive with them and was able to answer any questions they had. Would recommend this museum to anyone who loves their Utah sports heros!
Louis Holtzhausen
My visit to the Utah Sports Hall of Fame was a great experience. Being from South Africa very few of the names were familiar to me but thanks to the host Jamie Fox I walked out of the museum knowing a lot more of the Utah sporting greats. It is wonderful to see how the achievements of these men and woman are recognised and kept up to date by a non profit organization. Jamie is so friendly and knows her sport and sporting personalities by heart. Thank you!!
Tee Renee
Very impressed! The man working there was very helpful and answered all of our questions. It was fun for my 11 year old sports fan, too. They have some interactive displays. He especially loved comparing his height with the players. We highly recommend going.

Bruce is an awesome guy, literally has the entirety of utah sports history and the hall of famers in his head and at his disposal.
It was a blast listening to him talk about everything, a very open man and very welcoming, felt like I've known him my whole life by the time I left.
It was also brilliant to see all the history and icons through the ages, easy to use environment to learn and educate oneself on these awesome people in Utahs history.
Only complaint is I didn't get to meet Bruce sooner in my life and know about this gem of a museum in city creek.
