Very long & entertaining parade featuring floats, bands, costumes, & treats in NOLA starting from the East side of the French Quarter at Elysian Fields & travelling West on Peters to Decatur, then up Canal with a U-turn at Burgundy back down Canal to Tchoupitoulas Street terminating at Andrew Higgins Drive. Avoid travelling by car or transit as the traffic diversions cause significant congestion. The photo shows traffic gridlock on Common St. between St Charles Ave. & Carondelet St.

We attended the Parade via Canal St. @ Caronelet. Best parade I have ever been to. So much fun!

Loved the Halloween parade on Oct 2019. The event was well coordinated with vibrant and diverse performances. There were so many costumes and dances to keep the crowd entertained. Would love to attend in future years as well.

This is the only parade we have ever been to in NOLA, but it was soooo incredibly fun! I highly recommend it! I even enjoyed it sober and pregnant!

Fun festive parade, lots of colorful floats and costumes. Marching bands and floats pumping out music. Candy, Mardi gras beads, t shirts and more being tossed off the floats in masses. A great time an event you should make plans to attend

Nice Halloween parade. Usually the weekend before Halloween (even if Halloween falls on a weekend, it will be the weekend before. Can be a bit on the crude side, the riders drunk, but it is NOLA. I loved it! They do throw candy to kids.
