Reviews of Lighthouse ArtSpace Nashville

First time at this venue, and first time at a art show like this, it was quite an experience the soundtrack playing was perfectly fit for each new encounter. The floors changed with the images on the screens and the insane quality and high definition, animated pieces of artwork in front of you are mesmerizing to say the least.
Staff was friendly took all of two minutes to go from the front all the way into the exhibit and there was plenty a room to have your own little piece of art being immersed into the mind of Van Gogh was truly an expressive experience like no other
Wendy G
Absolutely gorgeous. The music was delightful. The art breathtaking and so easy to enjoy.
It was so easy to find. Super short walk from the parking garage to the facility.
Every single person we interacted with was friendly and professional.
I love the date Nate sections that were roped off upstairs ( this did not affect the viewing for anyone else at all) and told my BF about it. So we’re planning a date night now!!
Thank for an amazing time
Meredith McElhiney
Definitely worth going to, if you live locally. I brought my 15yr old and almost 1yr old. Both loved it. The music isn’t too loud for the little ones in my opinion, but you can bring headphones for them if you are worried. We watched the whole thing twice. There are twos rooms and even though they play the same thing it felt different in each. Take your time and enjoy! There are plenty of Souvenirs to purchase as well! If you want a large poster at the end, upgrade your ticket! It’s a really nice poster. I know it was frustrating waiting for the opening, but please keep in mind that is not the workers fault. Everyone there was so nice and helpful, so be kind!
Laura Burton
The Immersive Van Gogh is one of the most amazing things I've ever experienced. Even if you are not an art aficionado, you can appreciate and enjoy the play of colors and light and movement set to music. If cute photo ops are your thing, there are many to take advantage of!

This is a video/music that shows Van Gogh work in a contemporary format. It had good imagery/transitions and I liked the music. The images are sometime choppy and transition in 3D format so I never felt I really saw his pieces as a framed art piece that you get in a classical gallery exhibit which is more what I was expecting. There are three rooms that reflect the video. Each room has a unique look and feel to it. I personally really liked the smaller room which allowed me to really see the work. The larger room was still good but a little overwhelming for me. The mezzanine I also liked because of the more interactive feel with some glass sculptures you could walk around. For the price I felt it should have included more of his actual work. At the very front there were screens that showed his work with info that told about his life. If there had been more of those in addition to the other room I think it would have been perfect. There is parking at the museum too tucked behind it fyi

Pretty cool experience, very unique. Paid about $150 for tickets, right below VIP. Not sure how different VIP experience is, I think only difference is you get an extra free gift. I did consider it overpriced. We got cushions to use during the experience that were returned after also got a free poster at the end to take home. Went today on 5/7/22 didn’t have to wait in line at all, got there around 5pm.

I love the fact you can stay as long as you like. The subject matter was fantastic as it was fascinating “stepping into” Van Gogh’s work. The premise of it is clever and cool, all at the same time. The music was paired with the imagery perfectly. Definitely worth the visit.
Lindsey Tomaso
Loved the space! And your staff was great 😊 Friendly and happy to geek out with me. Highly recommend! The music fit perfectly (and thank you for the Spotify list!) I sat through three cycles taking it all in. ❤️ …
Steven Rivera
The Staff are exceptionally well informed and helpful. It’s a great venue for this form of art display or any art gallery show! The Van Gogh exhibit was fantastic and brought back many memories of studying his works in college and seeing his artwork in NYC and Chicago. It was an incredible experience and I highly recommend this art exhibit!! However, I recently viewed the King Tut exhibit and it wasn’t worth it! It’s nothing more than a 10 minute viewing of his tomb, along with other photos depicting the findings and the men who introduced the artifacts to the world. It’s a great show to bring someone young who hasn’t learned about Egyptian history and its antiquities offered to the world. As a young pre-teen, I was fortunate to have seen the entire display at the Metropolitan in Manhattan.

This place doesn't live to it's hype. I went in with an open mind but I wasn't blown away by the experience. I like art and I have been to many art galleries before and left inspired or wanting to buy something. Take pics just you'll enjoy the gallery view and things around the gallery are expensive as the ticket prices.
Charmaine Smith
Amazing experience. Make sure to stay and watch it more than once. It is magnificent! Expertly crafted together showing the details of the paint strokes. 🎨 …
Robert Simpson
They were extremely late on opening.
Very few details. It was amazing.
Staff was amazing. Very over priced.
Great for a first time. Don't do VIP.
Not worth the money. It was a great expensive experience. Not for children. Too small a place in Nashville. Basically a few paintings.
Glad I went. Could never afford a second time.
Education about Van Gogh? Told only the G rated version.
Brandy Boyd
We were here for the Van Gogh Immersive experience and it was a really nice space. The three viewing areas gave a wide range of experiences. The space itself is really cool and I look forward to seeing what other experiences they offer in the future.

Bought tickets for November then got delayed a few times. Was slightly upset by the constant delays and was not sure was even going to see it. But today was the day and I will say that it was everything and more that I expected. It is about a 30 minute loop video that loops so you can stay and watch it again from different angles. I purchased the VIP passes which gave us seat cushions posters and skip the line access my wife and I watched it down the lower level and the mezzanine a second time and gives you a different perspective and was awesome. Highly recommend if you are a Van Gogh fan at all
Susan Wright
Really enjoyed this exhibit, the music and imaginary. We found ourselves looking all around to take it all in. Sitting on the floor provides an amazing perspective. Do yourself a favor and watch it a second time on the second floor level. For those who love to snap photos there are mirrors upstairs (see photos) that provide fun perspectives of Van Gogh paintings while the exhibit is playing.
Emily Leighty
I was a little concerned coming out of town to see this after what I'd seen online with delays. Worth the price of tickets. It was amazing. Didn't feel rushed or crowded. Just got to be in a space to enjoy art and music.
Ruby Cooper
Enjoyable experience. The art comes to life. To get the most out of the experience, download the app and/or listen to the pre-visit audio. Great photo-taking opportunity.
Tieg Summers
I enjoyed my time here. I found only 45 minutes to be enough time for me. This is not ideal for anyone who gets motion sickness easily. I would love to see the Nutcracker experience that will be coming soon!
Anna Harutyunyan
An amazing experience. Totally worth! I was amazed how the modern technology reproduced the art in a beautiful way!
Tommy James
My daughter and I saw the Immersive Van Gogh experience at the Lighthouse.
The show was an amazing marriage of animating Van Gogh's works and classical and original musical pieces.
I highly recommend seeing this show if you can.
I will say, that I don't think it quite lived up to the hype. However, it was well worth the time and money.
Jim Cline
Take your time and enjoy. We stayed for three shows. Skip the first room. Visit the mezzanine for at least one showing. Seats are very limited; might wanna bring a very small portable chair.
Dean Bankes
The Van Gogh event was our first experience with the Nashville Immersion shows, and the whole family loved it!
I wish there was a 4k DVD formatted version available to purchase afterwards. It would be nice to play at home.
Aitor Marston
JUST BEAUTIFUL!
This show is completely worth it. The music and visuals combine perfectly in order to show you a magic show that will inmerse you without you even realise it.
I would say, the show is a bit short and I would love to enjoy a bit more of it.
Shannon Vaughan
Excellent Van Gogh Immersive Experience! I live 3 hours away and I have been on two separate occasions! Make sure to go upstairs!
Heather Wells
The show was amazing! It lasts about 25 minutes. My husband surprised me with the VIP tickets so we drove to Nashville for the day. It's definitely not worth it. Pay for GA tickets. I watched it twice and had a better view not in VIP. We did get lanyards, cushions, chocolate and some other goodies with our VIP tickets.
Patricia Tenpenny
Gogh! Gogh! Gogh! Loved it! All three rooms had such a different perspective! Spent 2 1//2 hours and I hope to go back for a second visit! Highly recommended!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Noelle Parker
Today I took my two teenage daughters that had been asking to see this. It was definitely a unique, beautiful way to experience the art work. We bought the GA tickets which were pretty expensive. I honestly don’t think it’s’ worth what they are charging to get in. The entire “show” is about 25 mins, so $130 later (they charge a booking fee also) I was like, wow, that’s it? You can stay as long as you want though, so you can watch it multiple times if you wish. Definitely take the time to read about Van Gogh on the walls before you go in. Very interesting! I just think the price is too high for what you get, but we did enjoy it.
Leslie B
Amazing space and perfect for Immersion Exhibit. This was so fun!! The way the art changes from one scene to another is very well done.
Tennessee Vue
cool experience, however be aware this is a 50 minute 'movie' the creators have blended together using 50-70 of Van Goghs' work. Nothing appears on the floor, as seen in the advertisement.
The seating is bizarre, as they only offer limited seating to watch this movie and charge a fee for a seat cushion?! Yes Real greed in full bloom.
Moreover, there is an entire upstair area to explore, but you may miss it, as the staff never tells you about it and no signage, you'll feel very lucky you stumbled onto the stairs!
Go see it, if you love the Master, just keep your expectations in check.
Tiffany Swan
Wow! What a beautiful experience with the Immersive Van Gogh!!! It was not crowded at all and I could have stayed there for hours enjoying it and I did not feel like they would rush me out of there! Thank you to all of the people working there for being so nice and helpful!
Destiny Pointer
My sister got VIP passes for us to view the exhibit and I was blown away by the beautiful artwork! It was in motion all around us and made it seem like the paintings were alive themselves. I would definitely recommend this wonderful experience to anyone if they love Van Gogh's work or art in general. Beautiful and organized! The staff were friendly! I even got a few things from there. A cushion to keep, a poster, and I purchased a china tea set with the artist's work on it. It is gorgeous!! I would go again if I could!
Anthony Warner
If you are one who appreciates art, this experience is for you! The Lighthouse Artspace in Kansas City ar Zona Rosa is an incredible venue with unbroken walls for the ultimate 3D art experience. I believe Van Gogh's post impressionism is the only type of art that could achieve this magnificent of an outcome in such an enveloping atmosphere. I felt it all the way to my bones!! So soul soothing...
Stephanie Williams
We enjoyed the experience! We would have benefited from a bit more explanation at the beginning, though the staff was friendly, they didn't offer much by way of explanation. No air conditioning.
Lauren Gibbs
The Van Gogh exhibit was absolutely beautiful! However, the gift shop was one of the most outrageously priced ones I've ever seen in my life. Hoodies are $80, magnets are $13, it was a bit much in my opinion.
Sarah Dorrance
It’s no secret that this exhibit had a lot of road blocks and hurdles to overcome before it finally opened. That being said, my mother and I were able to attend this exhibit yesterday (after initially purchasing tickets for November) and it was lovely! I highly recommended checking it out. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the exhibit itself was such a treat to experience ❤️❤️❤️
I am giving the review 4 stars instead of 5 only because I wish there had been better, clear communication about whether the exhibit was open or not etc.
Nancy Tucker
We loved it! The visuals and the music combined were unforgettable! Pictures do not do it justice!
Joe Brooks
I bought tickets to this event in September of 2021 as a present for my wife's birthday in late November. When we first bought the tickets, both the location and exact date that that event would open to the public were yet to be determined. After maybe a month we finally received an email revealing the "surprise" location, and the tickets were for early December. The exhibit hall wasn't ready in December, and we received an email saying that our tickets to the event were postponed to February. Then they were postponed to May 22nd. We were going with another couple, and they found in the middle of May that they had a schedule conflict, so we called and rescheduled for June 4th. After waiting 9 months for this event and all the shenanigans that were involved in getting a solid date and location to attend the event, I was already "over it". I wasn't at all sure this was going to be worth wait.
We arrived at event and found that parking was going to be easy, as there was a parking garage for the building that was shared with Regions Bank, and it was immediately adjacent to the venue. Just inside the entrance to the venue we encountered some abstract sculptures and a gift shop where a variety of merchandise, from very thick hardcover books covering all of Van Gogh's paintings, to other books on Van Gogh, to umbrellas and other assorted souvenirs with designs from Van Gogh's work on them. Items ranged in price from under $10 to over $100.
Next, we encountered an interesting mural showing downtown Nashville painted in the style of Van Gogh and some informative and insightful information printed on the wall across from the mural describing Van Gogh's work in 4 "seasons" along with a brief description of each season and giving the locations and time periods of each. After reading some brief text describing good ways to interact with the exhibit, we were each given a cushion with a sunflower design on it to place on one of the many benches to sit on, and we entered the exhibit. The first thing we saw was a long, hallway-like area that had monitors arranged in one long strip along both short walls and the outer long wall and mirrors on the opposite long wall. We mistakenly thought this was the exhibit and watched the entire presentation, which is on a loop so that it doesn't matter when you walk in or when you leave. The presentation lasts about an hour, and features some very imaginative and creative displays and animations of some of Van Gogh's most well-known masterpieces. We then started to wander around and realized that this hallway area was just the tip of the iceberg. There was a huge, two-story open space that had pictures projected from top to bottom along all 4 walls, displaying everything in a totally immersive format, with pictures even projected onto the floor. This was a whole different thing, being displayed much larger than life, all around you. I saw a scene that I had already seen on the much smaller monitors on the wall in the hallway area where the scene changed from a relatively dark one to one dominated by bright yellow sunflowers. I literally said "Wow." It was like the sun had risen. After that experience, I realized that I hadn't seen anything yet and we decided to stay and watch the whole thing again, this time from inside the huge auditorium-like space. It was very impressive and well done, even a bit moving. We then discovered there was a balcony area up on the second floor that also had some bits displayed that weren't visible downstairs, and it had some very interesting free-standing mirror-crystal type structures at various points in the middle of the balcony area. Outside this there were also a couple places where you could pose for pictures with Van Gogh's art or a Van Gogh quote behind you.
I came away very pleased and impressed. My wife, whose birthday present this was, was also very happy with the event. We agreed that it actually was worth the wait, and that we were very glad that we went. I highly recommend seeing an event here in this format.
farib alvarez
Being an artist and appreciating colors, techniques and visuals, this experience was wonderful. What a great way to see his works in an oversized visual environment!!
David Blazer
I was deeply moved to see that so many years after he is gone, Vincent is celebrated so beautifully. The exhibit reflected love for the artist. The concept, the artwork chosen, and the music were phenomenal. It was a very beautiful emotional experience to see this exhibit. To the creators I say “bravissimi!”
Teresa Cook
It was an amazing experience!! Needs to have more seating, but we really enjoyed it! Thank you.
Cory Tymensky
This was a really cool experience and I'll definitely be back for future exhibits. Staff was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Highly recommend!
Maribel Del Valle
Absolutely fantastic! Learned so much about him… the best way to appreciate his art!
ROBERTA WEGENER
This was very cool! So amazing how you’re part of the painting! It’s a little pricey for what you get so rated it 4 stars.
Delta K9
While I don't think of myself as artsy in any way.......after reading the reviews I just had to check this out. I have to admit, this was a spectacular show and it captivates the attention of everyone. I recommend going to the second level immediately and view the show from up there. The feeling you get is unlike anything you can imagine. The entire show allows you to feel as though your part of the paintings which was just phenomenal.
I will say that I don't recommend spending the extra money on the "VIP" as it was nothing spectacular with exception of the free poster and the free rental of the foam cushion (which is highly recommended).
I will add that the staff were absolutely wonderful at the venue. They were all kind and considerate and very informative. Although pricy, definitely well worth the experience.
Sandi Garrison
It was amazingly relaxing. The music chosen to glide through all his work was incredibly fitting. Well done and I would go again if it weren't so high in price. Many more could attend if tickets were $25. Thankfully parking was free. Thanks for a great experience!
Jared Keys
It was my first time at an exhibit like this, and I found it extremely enjoyable. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The galleries we're very accessible for anyone, and there was an elevator for the balcony. I would definitely go back for the same show and others. 5 stars!!!
Michael Yerty
Really enjoyed the experience, more than I expected to. Highly recommend finding a spot on the floor about 20 feet or so back from the wall and relax and take it all in. Also, make sure you sit through from beginning to end. If you get there and it has already started, when it loops back to the beginning, watch it all the way through. It was impressive and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Carm D
It was incredible. Drove 3 hrs to see this. Did not disappoint. We were in there for 2 hours. Watched it several times. It was beautiful. The only thing I would maybe suggest....is if you don't put up the names on the paintings on screen (which is fine) maybe hand out a paper program. Just so that we know what which one it is. I knew almost all but there was a few where I forgot. And my 10 year old was asking a lot. So she would of enjoyed reading it and learning !!
Steven Wright
Went to see the Tutankhamen show. I was pretty impressed with the setup of the projectors and how they seamlessly projected on all the walls and floor. Someone spent a lot of time putting together the show and it was pretty good. I didn't find the content that great because there wasn't much narration. Note obviously I didn't know going in what I was really going to. Nor do I know how much we paid. The staff was really friendly and gave us directions .
Leesa Perry
The way Vicent Van Gogh used colors in his art is quite miraculous. What a shame he would never know how appreciated and valuable his art has become. We are so lucky to have been blessed with his creations. You brought his art to a higher sense of life, if that were even possible. The color of yellow is so much more intriguing to me now. What a beautiful show. Thank you for all of your efforts to share this amazing presentation.
Darrin Kirkus
Cool art immersion experience currently featuring the work of Van Gogh. Don't miss the space upstairs! Lots of themed merchandise available. Presently, no food or drink available at the facility.
Serena Cannon
This was an amazing one of a kind experience. Skip the main room on the floor and head straight up the stairs to the balcony. Best kept secret of the day! Also, the gentleman taking the photos upstairs is wonderful and will take the best photos of you and your party.
Kayla Vincent
King Tut. Everyone was kind and helpful, the atmosphere throughout the whole building was unique. Lots to look at and explore.
Great concept, but was very disappointed. Maybe our own fault, but we thought it’d be more of an interactive museum type. It’s one room with a 30 minute video that plays on a loop. For the price of $40 a person, I think the experience doesn’t make it worth it.
Kris S.
Watched the video in the first smaller room.... then thought, That's it?" Found the larger room with the same continuous video. Granted, the 35 min video was pretty cool, but my $65 was a bit overpriced for the experience.
jay thota
The cost of the tickets was quite high for what this is: a 30-minute looping video of Van Gogh's artwork projected on a wall. If you enjoy fine art and want to see a new interpretation than this may be very entertaining! If you are expecting to walk through an exhibit and engage Van Gogh's physical artwork then this is not the offering for you. Additionally, we were charged a $40 online booking fee for the pleasure of booking ahead on the website (I guess that's how even art galleries charge now?).
Ray Von Rotz
While I appreciate some art I’m not that big of a fan. But presenting art in this way is breathtaking! The visual and musical components are amazing and puts the Van Gogh experience to a new level. I can wholeheartedly recommend this!
AnJie Havens
Totally unprepared for this experience of slowly, constantly changing artwork in this 360° gigantic room. This project was a masterpiece in itself. Highly recommended, even for younger children. I think they would be captivated by the movement. Even if you don't know much about this artist you are going to appreciate this program.
SweetAssassin17
Amazing soundtrack, the projections were amazingly clear and sharp. Will be seeing other artists work. However my only complaint was the columns sometimes blocking the view but that isn't any fault of the people working. Would give more than 5 stars if I could!
Randi Kersh
I would live here if I could. Amazing display of Van Goghs work and his sad descent into his illness. It was beautifully done.
Buddy Farler
Wonderful experience. Beautiful exhibit. Amazing work and music. Very well told story of a master painter. Vincent would be pround. His paintings came to life in a spectacular way. Thank you
D. Adrian Palmer
The immersion art display is something you have to experience to appreciate the effect. You are a part of the paintings with sounds that compliment the atmosphere. Never did the artwork "touch" me so deeply. Treat yourself and enjoy the unique display of Van Gogh's masterpieces.
Jo Brake
I saw the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibition here for my birthday. It was incredible! The genius of taking some of the most powerful and important masterpieces of art and melding them with other media, creating a whole new art form. I stayed for hours.
The gift shop as well was beautiful and fun. I saw so many things I wanted to get people as gifts. I will have to go back to do some Christmas shopping.
If you have a chance to see this exhibition, in Nashville or in one of the other cities where it will be shown, please do. It made my birthday the best one I have had since my childhood.
Linda Ledoux
I recentlytraveled to Nashville to compete in the Volunteer State Dance competition and stayed a few extra days to visit with friends. We went to Lighthouse Artspace to see the Vincent Van Gogh exhibit which was so wel done and thoroughly enjoyable. A wonderful experience
Shannon Larkins
This was a wonderful date day out! It was very romantic and cool! We bought the regular 2 adult tickets and stayed for 2 loops. The 1st loop we were downstairs in the second room. The 2nd loop we were upstairs in the balcony area. Both spots were perfect!
Jack Flash
Starting with the warm welcome we got at the beginning and directions to fully enjoy the exhibit, it was awesome. Such a visual, ephemeral, and senses expanding experience.
Grateful for the suggestion to go to the mezzanine level for a different perspective.
Pam Larson
I enjoyed the Van Gogh experience very much. His use of color and texture is brilliant. Seeing his works enlarged in this light show manner combined with beautiful music was incredibly moving. BRAVO!
Linda Bechtel
The experience was terrific. We stayed through 2 loops. The second loop we viewed from the balcony which provides a very different perspective. I would recommend this. Parking was convenient and entry well organized.
Crypt Mutt
It was super nice! My boyfriend took me here for my birthday and I absolutely loved it. Everyone was incredibly nice and I cant wait to go to the Monet one later this year with him. :)
Eric Berry
Truly an incredible experience. I have been an art lover since birth, but if this is the direction art is going, I think this an incredible way to get the attention of the non art lover to give art a second chance. Thanks again! Beautiful and I will be back !
Theresa Wright
My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed Immerse Van Gogh & the exhibits. We loved the gift shop with such unique gifts. I'm sure we will return in the near future for other shows.
adriel halliburton
Good exhibits, informational, very soothing atmosphere, but too pricey. Definitely only worth half the price. For $40-$50 a ticket atleast give me a snack or something! And the charged $15 for a cushion rental! Cushion was 2 inches thick. Money grab
Judy Marita
Immersive Van Gogh was unbelievably beautiful. It was an experience we shall not soon forget.
Jana Davis
The choreography of his work was pure genius as it danced around the room to perfectly blended ethereal music. It was fascinating to see his brushstrokes come to life with exquisite exuberance. It’s a refreshing time out.
Jared Forrester
amazing immersive experience. completely immersed in sight & sound. soundtrack on point. I suggest psylicibin for total immersion
Zachary Nixon (Zachmire)
It's a great location and glad to have the parking garage nearby. Went to King Tut which was okay, but saw part of Van Gogh and could tell it was so much better. Being in the artwork was amazing. King Tut suffered from being a made up story "through the underworld" that was difficult to connect to. Wish it had been more about his life and the tomb. Highly recommend the art series based on the few minutes we got to see that.
Tiffany Freeman
I loved my Van Gogh experience so much I stayed for an hour. The way the music lined up with the paintings made everything gel together for me. I really do recommend it and the space at Lighthouse was perfect to show this!
Frannie MacKenzie
A wonderful experience. Everyone that loves art needs to go. I was in tears by the end of the exhibit. At times I felt like I was watching Van Gogh paint and at other times I felt like I was in the middle of the actual painting. So glad I experienced this.
Tina Laychak
I was awestruck. Powerful display. With every stroke of his paint brush, you could somehow actually feel what he was possibly feeling with each masterpiece Van Gogh created. It was as if I was standing in his tormented mind and soul and felt each emotion he may have felt. I have never experienced that with art before. Just incredible.
quentin snook
Took my wife to this for a date night. Went during the week and it was not busy at all. We didn’t need the vip tickets since there was no line. Having said that, I high recommend this exhibit. It was an amazing time. We started on the main viewing floor and then went upstairs to view it again. It was a really cool way to see Van Gogh’s art. My wife was surprised and really excited.
Neil White
Visited th immersive Van Gogh exhibition. It was truly amazing. A little expensive, but amazing. Worth it, if you get the chance.
Julius Quiz
I'm a Van Gogh fan! so I won't complain!
Gayle Pearson
Incredible experience! The visuals along with the music completely captivate you! I've told everyone that will listen that they should go and experience a show. I cant wait to attend another one in the future!
Eddie
Very impressive! Watched it twice from different places in the room both times were great experiences. Well worth ticket price! Absolutely unique from anything I've seen before.
Andrew Frisch
We just got home from the immersive Van Gogh Experience and it was breathtaking. The entire exhibit, between the music, the art, and the blending of the two. Absolutely stunning. We're looking forward to our next visit! (I even got mistaken for Lance Armstrong on the way out 😂😂) …
Wendie Baker
The total experience of art coming to live and you being right in the middle. Awesome, from tge sun moving to the hand awaking colors to windmills moving, 100% loved the whole experience. I so appreciate art more now than before..
Thank you

Everyone working at the exhibit was very nice and helpful. The parking was convenient too. Overall the experience was amazing. The combination of the animation with the music was beautiful.
Andrew Pack
Soooooooo much fun. Little hard for a semi old man to get up and down off the floor. You could toss a few extra benches in but all the same. Spectacular 30 minutes inside Vincent’s work!
Andrea Monk
I mostly enjoyed everything. Some of the exit signs and doorways were distracting. I also wish Starry Night had been a bit better.
M. Rick Richards.
Quite enjoyed! Glad that I got to see it before closes!
D.B. Sieders
So glad we found this hidden gem! The venue is beautiful and inviting. My family and I enjoyed the Immersive Van Gogh experience so much. Will definitely be attending more events here!
H.R. Tackitt III
Such a wonderful time and experience. The staff was great as well.
Kent Brown
Incredible! We took advantage of moving around to several areas, including the balcony. In fact, balcony may have been the best spot. VVG is such an interesting artist.
Valerie Denny
In this exhibit you are fully surrounded by animations of Van Gogh's art. The different areas (a smaller, more enclosed room, a huge room where the art towers over you, and a mezzanine with a kaleidoscope of reflective sculptures) give you unlimited views. I watched the program three times, but depending on where you sit/stand/walk you could stay all day and have a different experience with each replay of the program.
Katrina Wood
Stunning! So moving the details and colors created a total immersive experience celebrating the deeply brilliant artist Vincent Van Gogh . Also loved the music choices. Highly recommend!
Anthony Werthan
Fantastic immersive experience, utilizing well chosen music ro accentuate spectacular images of Van Gogh's work on tall, wide open spaces in the display rooms. Not much seating available, so be prepared to stand, or to sit on one of the few benches, or on the concrete floor. Plenty of open space to make yourself comfortable. Well worth it for the 30 minute show.
Sonne Steele
Stunning visuals and music, but could benefit from better seating to maximize the view angles for guests.

This was my second visit to this gallery (1st visit was to see Immersive Van Gogh, which was great.) The immersive King Tut exhibit was even better ! The narrator was "Amun-Ra", the scenes were mesmerizing and just so enjoyable.
Parking in free in the garage next door. The gift shop staff is really friendly, and not pushy. And everyone there seems very knowledgeable about the gallery and the exhibits.
I highly recommend you check out the experience.

We absolutely LOVED it! My Husband is legally blind and was able to fully see and immerse himself into the Van Gogh experience ❤️❤️❤️
Robert Hardy
I gifted my wife this experience as an early Christmas present and it was totally worth it. She doesn’t “need” anything, but she loves VanGogh, and this was a terrific surprise for her. We watched the loop 3x’s and I’m pretty sure she could’ve spent the entire day watching it. I don’t really care for art, but I enjoyed the experience almost as much as my wife did. I would say go see VanGogh!

I went to the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit and it was the best art show I've ever seen. All of his paintings come to life and the classical music they chose to put in the background just was perfect. I will never forget it! I went with my husband and a friend that was visiting from out of state, and it brought tears to her eyes. All of the merchandise in the store was marked down 75% off and how could you not take up on that offer? Well I couldn't anyways, lol. We walked away spending $29 for 2 bucket hats for me and a Starry Night poster(my favorite painting of his) that we'll have put in a nice frame. Our premium tickets included a souvenir which was the seat cushion they provided and also a poster of Van Gogh. It definitely was a night to remember. This review is for the exhibit only because that's the only time I've ever been in Lighthouse ArtSpace Nashville. But all staff were super friendly and the place was very clean.

Took my girls to The Immersive Nutcracker yesterday. All of the staff of Lighthouse ArtSpace were refreshingly warm, welcoming, and kind. I was very pleased with our visit and will definitely return for future events.
Storme Maynard
This was my second immersion in Van Gogh. I brought a friend and we both had a wonderful time!
But I was looking forward to the Immersive King Tut and now hear it has come and gone! Will it possibly be back?
Brent Lochala
Friendly and helpful staff, surprisingly cheap gift shop, and the immersive king Tut was outstanding. Parking was a breeze also
Elizabeth Schoetz
Parking is free, the experience was not over crowded, and the whole family enjoyed it. Afterwards I adored the gift 🎁 shop. The Van gogh merchandise was on 75% clearance. We will come again …
Beth hainsworth
We (group of 4) very much enjoyed this experience. It exceeded our expectations with the music and lights blending the different art works together so seamlessly.
Tamika Nicole
Wow, I took all my children to enjoy this amazing art experience & they loved it, the atmosphere pulls you in, & makes you feel apart of the art journey, although a lil bit pricey “totally worth the adventure” we can’t wait to enjoy more exhibits to come.
Bonnie Foster
I had no idea what to expect and we were overwhelmed. Had spent a month in Arles in May and it was wonderful to see his paintings like this. It was amazing.
Dave
We’ve been to the Van Gogh and Disney immersive experiences here. The shows are nice and the sound is good. I feel like they are over priced for what it is overall however.

King Tut Exhibit: For as much as is charged, I was quite disappointed just to read a little history, see some cool digital effects, and hear an inaudible mythological recording of Egyptian Art and History on repeat. Very disappointing visit, more than the VanGogh visit. If you're going to create a sustainable art space, it needs to do more than show cool scenes on the walls and floors. Get a dynamic and interactive speaker involved, add headsets, put some of the actual art on display, and cater some drinks and hors d'oeuvres or finger foods. These one dimensional art exhibits might entertain kindergarteners but they will not create return customers. Create a bread and butter customer base, not just a fast food crowd.
Sean Sanders
Very cool experience for kids , vip price isn't worth it though. Just bring a cushion to sit on. And for whatever reason, they play lesser known songs from some of the movies instead of the absolute bangers 🔥 …
Matt Adams
After the Immersive Van Gogh experience, the Immersive Nutcracker was a letdown. The majority of it was poorly animated animals in planes and a bunch of random kids having a sugar high in front of a Christmas tree. Very little of the story and the ballet was actually portrayed. Wait for the Disney one.
Taylor Collier
I went with my family to the immersive Van Gogh experience, and we all had an amazing time. The work transforms and comes to life in exciting new ways.
Patty Price
Loved the entire experience. I recommend reading all the info about the production people as well as the history of Van Gogh. His life shows in what he painted as well as how he painted. Very heartbreaking talented soul.
C. E.
The Van Gogh exhibit is an awesome experience and definitely worth checking out. 💯 …
Susan Thrower
Really beautiful, creative animations of my favorite artist. Good choice of soundtrack. The animation is on a continuous loop, so take your time and enjoy it a few times!
Heidi Montero
This was a fantastic experience. We must have come in after it started because we seen most of it again. It was so good totally suggest it.
Robert Jones Jr
My Daughter and I had an awesome visit
Steven Lamparter
It was a good experience at that price it would have been a great experience at $25.00 a person. They also should have told you about the big room from the begining. We wasted time in the small room to start with.
George
Unforgettable and moving. The experience was unique in each exhibit hall. We especially enjoyed the perspective from the mezzanine
Philip Evans
The van Gogh immersive exhibit was so good I had tears in my eyes. I wanted to see the Ancient Egypt exhibit, but we didn't know it was a thing. No tickee, no shirtee...
Vanessa Merillat
It's absolutely incredible! We would hope to see more experiences. It was so cool!!@
Frank Taft
It was a wonderful , exciting experience !! I highly recommend it to anyone !
John Mcgee
I was not happy with the cost and what I recieved as a VIP purchase for the King Tut exhibit. No special seating, no special accommodations. Free gift poster wasn't suitable for anything other then an advertisement. I will not repeat my visit for any shows.
MaryBeth Helton
We really enjoyed ourselves! We were celebrating my Birthday and I am so glad that this was part of it!!
Angie Cole
We were in awe - it was so much fun! We went at a time there was a light crowd and we had a whole corner to ourselves to dance and imagine.
Kesha Wall
Mesmerizing and stunning--the music paired with the art was first-rate. I highly recommend taking an hour of your time to enjoy how beautifully art, music, and technology come together.
Keeler Family
Awesome experience! The music combined with the movement of the art was wonderful. Could have stayed a lot longer and still enjoyed it.
Wendy Klamm
I took my daughter to see the Van Gogh Immersive Experience and it was fantastic! We both loved it!
Amy Keisler
Went with 2 adult children and everyone was entertained. An activity that transcended all of our ages. Loved it!!
Andy Zotti
I thought this way a wonderful way to hi-light Van Gogh’s work. The music was amazing as well and the time flew by as we watched the show from each of the three areas.

This was pretty cool! We went with our homeschool group. It really is beautiful to see!!!!!
Melanie Kie
This was amazing. Don't forget to visit the balcony. It was one of the best parts!!
kelly worthen
Very cool. We all enjoyed it. It was very chilly in the venue and we wished we’d brought a jacket. Other than that, it was great.
Jill Bain
So unique! This will mean something different to everyone who experiences this display. What a great way to introduce young budding artists! Wonderful too, for anyone into music. So, so happy we were passing through Nashville, and saw an ad for this. Definitely worth leaving the city an hour or so later than planned!!
Hanna Gritsak
LOVED IT!!!!! This was such an amazing experience! The kids were in love with it all. They were able to be fully absorbed within the art and music. My mother and sister also found it to be so unique and fascinating. Really a fantastic exhibition and a super way to display the amazing artwork. Would highly recommend it! The customer service was top notch with everyone being super helpful and friendly. All around phenomenal experience for the whole family.
Cathy Reeves
Greatly! What an amazing way to see this masters works! AT some points you felt you could reach in and feel the texture of the oil paintings. I loved it. I had not planned on it, but it happened that while we were in Nashville the exhibit was here. So glad I went!
Lisa holman
Me & good friend traveled about 2 hrs. and went VIP to the show yesterday !! It was defiantly breathtaking and a experience we will always remember❗We had loads of fun on our trip !! 10/10 🤙😍🤙 …
Karin Ponce
This is about Lighthouse ArtSpace in Zona Rosa in Kansas City.8690 N Dixson Ave, 2nd Floor, Kansas City. Not Nashville .
Great deals at the souvenir shop. Friendly, helpful people everywhere.
The venue was spacious. The sound was all around. The visuals of the Van Gogh show were color saturated and beautiful.
There are more shows- King Tut, Klimt, and I understand Monet is coming.
Tari Pearson
I love the experience and the music. It had me at an awe. Wishing that more exhibitions would come to Nashville.
Denise Gordon
The whole experience from music to the visuals made me feel like I was part or in the paintings!
Teri DeFrange
It was an AMAZING experience. I recommend it to everyone ! A must see !
Miranda Hughes
This was one of the best experiences I have had the honor of enjoying with my 6 year old nephew. We loved the exhibit. There are 3 different areas to watch the exhibit from. All three are incredible. My nephew enjoyed the top level the most. The staff was super helpful and so friendly. The gift shop was incredible. I am going back for the Van Gogh flute glasses and tea cups ASAP. Go! Take your kids, they will love it and you will too!
Leigh DeVoy
This was a phenomenal experience! I can’t wait to do it again…
Brian Bradley
With very little prior knowledge of Van Gogh the artist, this experience was simply spectacular! The colors, the music, the transitions from scene to scene all showed the amazing diversity of his work--and what beauty. When you get chills from watching a multimedia experience, you know you've seen something special. We sat through two viewings of the event just to soak it all in and would highly recommend it to art connoisseurs and novices alike.
Janet Monell
Such a beautiful sensory experience!
The art works were above, below, around you in vibrant moving colors, while emotional and appropriate classical music accompanied the exhibit.
Postlady1954
Really enjoyed the whole experience. The music with the way the art was presented kinda filled you up. One of the employees came and asked me if I would like a chair. I was so happy that she did. My daughter-in-law and a grown niece also enjoyed themselves and we were glad we drove the 1.5 hours to get there. All of the employees we encountered were friendly, helpful and courteous. Highly recommend and I will return for future events.
Catherine Johnson Sistrunk Tobin
We took our adult son and 2 grandkids, 8 year old granddaughter,
6 year old grandson, none of us really knew what to expect. Whatever it was, this far exceeded it! We were pretty sure the kids would not be fans. Instead the 8 year old was transported - dancing to the music and clearly mesmerized by the images. When we had seen the entire show we said "lets go", to our utter amazement the 6 year old ( VERY active grandson) didn't want to leave. He too loved it. My husband went thinking it would be boring, he loved it. We ALL LOVED it!! It is totally worth the time and money. Highly recommend this wonderful experience.
Scott Baker
Totally immersed into the art... There were times I felt I had the space all to myself. Very well done... Special shout out to all the staff who are overly helpful. Big shout out to Matthew for making us feel "important"!!
Lisa Waynick
What a relaxing experience! We loved being in the paintings. The music made the experience so strong! My 8 month old grandson really enjoyed it. He sat on the floor and touched all the colors and patterns as he looked all around the room. Loved this!
Chris Snyder
Run don’t walk, this is a must see! It really feels like you are immersed in Van Gogh’s work and nothing quite compares to the experience. The music was beautifully curated and takes the whole experience to the next level.
Laura Nation
A lovely tribute to a truly loving man. We definitely felt immersed in his art and as if we were part of Van Gogh's world.
Kevin Buchanan
My first time and it was amazing! Would highly recommend! I like that you can stay as long as you want. I watched the entire show three times.
Gary Armstrong
We took our teenage granddaughter who has some artistic talent - knowing very little about Vincent Van Gogh, and thinking this would just be a giant slideshow. The experience was so much more. We began by listening to the introduction narrative sent to us with the tickets - this was an excellent preparation for what we would be seeing. It gave an overview of Van Gogh as a person and an artist and the different phases of his life and painting styles. This was a great help in being able to appreciate the presentation. The experience is truly "immersive", involving an amazing sound system with images that surround on all sides, above and below. The visual experience was stunning - some of the paintings unfold as if being painted stroke by stroke, or come alive with movement or animation - all with music that blends with the flowing visual which moves around the room. It's not possible to describe in words - just go see it. I think you will truly enjoy it - and like me be asking "how did they do this?"
Dan Stocker
I have been looking forward to seeing this exhibit. Even though I wasn't sure exactly what it would be like. Some in our group were hesitant.
Everyone of us were thoroughly impressed and couldn't belive what we saw.
I would see again ....and probably will!!
Calvin Foster
I took my family to the Van Gogh exhibit and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We can't for the Disney Exhibit
Nazia Rahman
It was incredible. I am an sugar artist featured in two national magazines, this 2022 and I was so inspired and moved that I designed an entire cupcake collection with the colors in this exhibit. To see my whole collection inspired by lighthouse's Art space's Nashville, go to my Instagram at exquisitefloralbynazia
keisha deguzman
We loved it!! We went at 7:30 and the place was full but not overly so. We went to a corner and our 4yr old danced as the exhibit went on. It was great
Crystal Williams
This is very peaceful and mesmerizing. I found it just as amazing as expected. The colors are vivid and the music was perfect. Something I will continue to talk about forever.
Shawna Walker
The exhibit was overall nice but pretty disappointing to discover the two rooms have the same ~30 minute video on a loop. I was under the impression the two rooms would at least have different media displayed. Wouldn't really say it was worth the price knowing this. Gift shop was also (as expected) extremely overpriced.
BTS Forever Joon
I enjoyed the presentation - very beautiful, the music. Starry night is my favorite piece and they deconstructed it-would have liked to have seen a bit more of it - but I liked how they gave his work movement…well done!
Eddie Mickle
The incredible visuals interwoven with perfect sound, gave life and movement to these timeless masterpieces evoked overwhelming feelings of beauty and connection to the artist. Thank you!
Traci Morris
Well done, beautiful adaptation of Van Gogh’s work! Really made us feel we were in his paintings. Will be recommending to all.
Patti Morales
The exhibit was phenomenal. I expected it to be longer than 30 minutes for a $50 fee but I watched it twice. Very well done.
shannon prindle
This exhibit was beautiful and worth every penny. However, folks should avoid bringing kiddos that can’t sit still and stay quiet. It’s not for toddlers.
Michael Mortensen
Everything about our night here was great. The experience was a night we won't forget. The staff was also very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, they did such a great job that I felt they added significant enjoyment to our evening. Thank you all.
Matti Abel
The Immersive Van Gogh experience was absolutely wonderful! The presentation was absolutely beautiful and astounding and only made better by the wonderful staff! The staff were so amazingly sweet and very helpful! I give my every thanks to them for making this experience as wonderful as it was! I can’t wait to come back and see the next show!
Midge Phibbs
This exhibit is in motion. You sit and watch paintings of Van Gogh swirl around you. Before you enter the Gallery there is a wall of history on Van Gogh's life. I recommend reading the plaques to get to know the artist and understand his paintings. There are two separate large areas where his paintings are being projected on the walls. There are benches and also sitting on the floor is encouraged. The music that is playing is divine. When you exit the gallery you'll find that you are very relaxed like you've had a massage. My favorite was the sunrise sunset photo. The sun moves rises from the far left of the room and sets to the far right. The time period of Japanese influence was impressive. Cherry blossoms blowing in the wind and falling all about you.
There is an upstairs gallery accessed by the elevator. There is a balcony where you can view the exhibit from a higher perspective. The gift shop is downstairs and they have all things Van Gogh. It is hugh!
If you can go see this new impressive way to view art where you enter the picture and feel and see it move around you, don't feel it odd to sit on the floor.
Juan Santamaria
Visited the Immersive Van Gogh exhibit. It's important to know the reason on why the exhibit is setup the way it is to have the viewer understand. It was amazing and an fantastic experience!
Ashley Nichols
This was an amazing experience. I was so moved by the exhibition. At one point I was so enthralled by it that I was brought to tears. Hands down it was magnificent.
Val Laprocina
Saw the Immersive Van Gogh exhibit and it was absolutely stunning. An intense sensory experience which was beautiful and moving. Would definitely recommend other immersive exhibits here.
Tatiana 'Tajci' Cameron
The immersive experience is amazing by itself - the art, the music, the story, the digital presentation. Also, every interaction with the Nashville staff was a beautiful human connection of kindness and thoughtfulness - elevating the 'immersive art' to a whole different level. In the words of van Gogh himself: "There is nothing more truly artistic than to love people."
Kevin Thompson
Really cool experience! Took my family and was in awe at the time and effort the personnel had put in to this production. Learned a good amount of information about Van Gogh’s early life, struggles, and how his art reflected all stages! Highly recommend!!
Amy Brandt
Awesome! Wonderful venue and experience.
Tom Harden
A Unique Experience that made us feel we were part of the paintings. Great innovation that should add to the appreciation of art.
Mikel Anderson
Our experience at this exhibit was spectacular. The staff who worked were very pleasant and helpful. The immersive experience itself was far better than I could have ever hoped for. The animation of Van Gohs artwork was brilliant. It allowed you to feel like you were a part of the painting. I would return in a heartbeat. It's a great experience for all ages.
Vicky Goad
This was a wonderful exhibit! Just breathtaking! The venue was great. Parking was super easy. Just a great experience.
Corisa Davis
The staff is so friendly! Visited for the Van Gogh exhibit. It was beautiful on the first floor, but i absolutely enjoyed it from the second floor.
Leslie Ballew
Fantastic experience! Loved the atmosphere, people at the ticket booth were amazing, the exhibit itself was breathtaking and so unique.
Jessica Waters, Phd
Brilliant audio, visual experience! Saw it tonight in Kansas City and wow, what an emotional, beautiful experience. Listen to the downloadable audio first, before going into the immersive experience.
Denise Dinwiddie
I cried it was so beautiful! Enjoyed the show for our anniversary!
Cherilyn Martin
Absolutely amazing!! This was my second city to go through the exhibit! Again, I was overwhelmed by the whole experience. I highly recommend!!!!
Tim Park
World-class from facility to people to immersive experience. Nashville is fortunate to have such an innovative venue.
Julie Sevenich
So beautifully presented! The technical side was as well done as van goths art itself! Well worth it!
Rodney Bobzien
This was a great experience! My daughter has special needs and being able to see the art move with sound really gave her a chance to enjoy the art!
She wouldn’t enjoy or understand the art pieces being wheeled through a paint gallery. Thank you
Christy
Great experience! The exhibit was peaceful and beautiful. The employees were very helpful.
My Playlist
Immersive van Gogh show was great, but it was extremely cold during the whole show (even wearing jacket and gloves).
Richard Osburn
An outstanding exhibit. Looking forward to future exhibits. I saw the King Tut as well as Van Gogh.
Jordan Bentley
Intense! The colors, textures and animations worked well. The background sound effects and music was a good match with the visuals.
Susan DeGross
Absolutely beautiful, the immersion with the Art makes you feel like it is all around you! Loved it! Thank you
Paul Anderson
AMAZING experience!! Would absolutely recommend going if you get the chance.
Heather M
It was a fabulous experience. The art was beautiful and the accompanying music was incredible.
Margaret Williams
I went for yoga and Van Gogh. The instructor was very hard to understand because of her microphone. She also talked really fast and the flow yoga class did not transition well and it was very hard to follow. I read that the class was supposed to be choreographed to the music, it was not.
We stayed after class for the exhibit. I enjoyed the show but not the yoga.
Aaron Cornett
It was really good. I do wish it lasted a little bit longer.
DreddthePain
It was the most moving thing we have seen. Loved every second of the whole experience.
Natalie Palmer
Loved it! Sit on the floor up front if you're VIP... that's the best experience!
Annette Black
I have been twice and saw something different each time, once with husband and once with daughters. This exhibit is for all ages. ENJOYED VERY MUCH.
Angela Macdonald
Absolutely amazing and so fantastic. This is probably one of the best things I've done in a long time. Love it!!
Cindy Froehlich
The exhibit was fantastic. So peaceful. And the building space is beautiful. Parking was so convenient
Dale Allen Pommer
Absolutely stunning! The artistic vision and the music. Don't sit or stand in one place. Get up and move around, the experience changes as you stand or sit in different places. Definitely go upstairs and get that view as well. We watched the show loop three times and saw something different each time.
J J
Don’t miss this if you are an art / Van Gogh fan. Absolutely beautiful set up for a truly immersive experience.
Marquise Snead
I’ve seen a lot of comments about this exhibit being postponed for months but this was not my experience. I purchased my tickets in February and the exhibit opened in March…so lucky me. The exhibit itself was something I didn’t expect. I guess I didn’t do my research on exactly what the museum was. I was expecting a museum with rooms that you walked through and you were immersed in the art. I was wrong…the exhibit is basically a 30 minute short film showcasing his wonderful art. We purchased the premium tickets and we received a pillow when we walked in the building. The staff didn’t give a lot of directions when we arrived….we sat in the overflow room and didn’t realize it wasn’t the actual room where the show took place. DO NOT SIT IN THE FIRST ROOM AND WATCH THE SHOW. Overall a cool experience but not what I had in mind for the price I paid. I would give it a 3.5 if I could.
Leslie Erkman
An amazing experience. We set through the whole thing twice to take it all in.
Tim McDonnell
Totally worthwhile! Reinvents the classic art in such a refreshing way. Don't think of this as a trip to the art gallery; it's a completely new experience. The combination of a brilliant soundtrack, the motion of the art, the gradual completion of delivering the art via HD projectors brings so much additional appeal to the artist's work. You'll be very glad you saw this and I'm sure you'll make every effort to try to describe this experience to all your friends.
Melanie Hatley
This was above and beyond all my expectations! I highly recommend this event and experience to anyone…even if you are NOT an art lover. The coordination of the exhibit with the music is very touching, relaxing, and simply beautiful! We plan on attending future exhibits of other artists.
Kristie Brooks
#obsessed.
I can’t say enough great things about this exhibit!
We sat through three showings-I easily could have sat there way longer. Definitely worth the ticket price.
I’m hoping to go back again before it ends in June.
Also, the staff was super kind & helpful.
10/10 recommend
Jennifer Hughes
Really wish the event would have been ready for opening day, but they made rescheduling amazingly easy! The show was put together really well... not too crowded, the sound was amazing, the projections were clear, crisp and smooth in their transitions. Kinda wish the benches were secured to the floor (they squeaked SO loud when bumped or moved) and that the seating available was more plentiful and more comfortable!! The balcony area had mirrored columns that was really awesome to see, so make sure you take time to venture upstairs!
Ana Wong
Absolutely amazing. So beautiful. Loved the music. Done right. Perfect place for it. I felt really safe in there. Lots of room. Covid safe. The benches were nice to sit on. The gift shop had so many cool things. Awesome!!!
Jamie Bedgood
This is totally amazing and worthwhile. I thoroughly enjoyed this exhibit.
Abner Correa
Awesome! Unforgettable experience!!! You have to go is worth it!
Joyce Jones
Easy to find venue and nearby parking. The Van Gogh Immersion was enriching and amazing!
pat nolan
A great day celebrating a birthday. I did not know much about VanGogh but I can tell you I was in awe with this exhibit! This is a must see!!
Davin McLaird
I was cautiously optimistic about this. It seemed like it might be cool, but it was way beyond! The animations were very tasteful, and really brought these famous works of art to life. The music used in the show was perfect, and included a wide range of styles. Our venue had two rooms: one which was like a wide hallway where you could sit on the floor against the wall and the other a sort of oddly shaped room, but there were a few chairs at different places around the room. This was the REAL immersive room, with the show projected on the walls and the floor. We watched the show twice, once in each room. It was very moving, and I’m considering going again!
Vicky D
It was amazing! The music made the experience that much more enjoyable!
Kim W
Loved it so much!!! Probably not worth the higher price tag but it’s definitely an amazing experience if you can afford it. The soundtrack was brilliant and the way the graphics move from 2D to 3D is clever. Highly recommend.
Marla Harrington
Fantastic show! The music and the art work together were fabulous.
Jessica de Boer
It was very beautiful. Very immersive.
I wish I had known how loud it was going to be, then I wouldn't have taken my infant with me.
So mama's out there, you might want to invest in some noise cancelling headphones for your little ones.
I also think it was slightly overpriced.
I think 20 or 30 dollars would have been more appropriate. Ofcourse that's just personal opinion.
Definitely a must see though.
DeWayne Rundall
Took my 9 year old grandson that loves painting and drawing with me. It was a total awesome experience for him, plus I enjoyed it alot more than I thought I ever would. The music was very smoothing also. So glad that we went and got to share the memory together. Great show thanks
Myranda Elliott
Definitely an incredible experience that everyone must see! I hope they do more artists as well like Degas, Picasso, loads of options. The only change I would think to improve was the first room be a slightly different version of the show that’s in the other, bigger space.
Jeff Paine
Full disclosure. My idea of art is the painting showing dogs playing poker. That said, this exhibit was fantastic. The blending the art of Van Gogh with modern technology was a sight to see and hear. It truly is an amazing experience. Be sure to view from all viewing angles.
Preston Shaffer
At $55/ea it's little pricey for peak times, but it's definitely a very well done production and installation. Mostly the best immersion is being in the main room with the large walls surrounding you, but take a few minutes and walk through the mirrored structures on the mezzanine as well
Gail Mastin
Absolutely fantastic !! LOVED both the visual and music !!! Spent an hour and a half enthralled!! Left all the sad/bad world news and problems behind and enjoyed beauty. Also, very impressed with the staff - very friendly, happy and knowledgable!! Be sure to enjoy all three rooms, especially 'upstairs'. Also, excellent gift shop - LOVE the 'Starry Night' luminaries we purchased !! I thought we'd see it once and that would be cool - but we are now considering a second visit !!!
Lorraine Threlkeld
This was outstanding. I took my granddaughter 15 and grandson 9 and they loved it. It is a 35 minute light show of art is how my grandson described it. Very worth the money. We did all of the rooms but like the 2nd floor the best. Staff were so helpful, great gift shop and I would highly recommend that tou do NOT miss this. It far exceed our expectations.
Nancy Norman
We attended the Van Gogh Immersive exhibit and enjoyed the experience thoroughly. We loved the way they took us through the progression of his life and art . How they created that immersion, I'll never know but, I was so impressed. The music and visual takes you away , into another dimension. It was relaxing and exciting at the same time. I would definitely recommend this experience.
Maria Espinosa
My 11 year old daughter loves art and I decided to take her to the exhibition as a kick off for the summer. She enjoyed it so much and we watched it twice. It was amazing, I’m glad I went with her. It was brilliant and unique.
James Peach
My understanding is my experience with this exhibit was better than a lot of people who attended early on. I found the three distinct areas where you get to experience the main exhibit to be different enough to warrant hanging out in each area for the entirety of the 30-minute piece, for an extended 90 minute experience that really brings out different aspects of what the omnidirectional art team did with the works.
I was particularly impressed with how exactly right the music levels were. Often these sorts of things are either too loud or too quiet.
I don't want to say much more in case someone reading this is actually considering going,.
Tronda Smith
It was our first time and we wasn’t sure what to expect but my daughter and I were very pleased and in awe of the experience. Every room a different aspect of the same story. Every staff member very helpful and extra kind. We will be going back.

Alan Baird (Polrbear)
Not sure I would call it an exhibit. Maybe experience is a better word. The video was well done and beautiful, and the event staff was friendly. However what was offered for the price of the tickets was a bit lacking. $40 each for a 30 min movie/video and little to no seating is a bit much. Van Gough panted over 1000 pieces and maybe 20 were included with the movie/video. I feel $20 to $25 would have been fair.
Geri Franske
My sister and I loved this. We bought tickets when they 1st went on sale and after rescheduling 4 times, I got a refund. Once you opened, I started hearing good things so I bought tickets again. It was a convenient location, easy FREE parking, and best of all, your service staff were all excellent. They were helpful and cheerful and made for a super experience. I will brag you up to everyone.
Katie Webster
The most perfect experience of my life at the Immersive Van Gogh experience! I had received tickets from friends on Wednesday and told my BF. Well he reached out and this organization went above and beyond! Steve and Tasha organized, orchestrated and truly created a masterpiece of a proposal! In 48 hours! I was so completely surprised and had no idea! Most perfect moment I will never forget and then to experience this beautiful exhibit with my love! Thank you immersive Van Gogh Nashville, it was worth the wait!!!! We are more then happy for you to share our proposal video! Thank you again, Katie and Ali Khan
Gil Gilliam
Entertaining and highly creative presentation of Van Gogh's art. (This is for the KC showing, for some reason everything on social media points to Nashville.)
Jennifer L.
Went with a friend yesterday. It was phenomenal! I really felt like I was truly immersed in Van Gogh's masterpieces! The music chosen and the movement of the exhibit was perfect! It was like having private access to the artist's mind. It was really exceptional!
Nevermind the positive or negative reviews. Go for yourself and make the experience your own.
I would highly recommend.
Al Slus
I have been to impressive exhibits and museums worldwide. Hands down, this Immersive Experience was one of the most fascinating, stunningly beautiful, and awesome events I have ever had the honor to attend. DO. NOT. MISS. IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a fan of Van Gogh's art, this experience was amazing! You feel as if you are a part of Vincent's art and can almost feel the emotions that went into each piece. My daughter and I truly enjoyed the whole experience!
Stuart Wiston
Truly incredible experience. We spent well over an hour just watching as the colors moved and blended - coming together and apart.
The music was woven into the art with the perfect touch.
All in, I highly recommend.
Angela Roland
My self & Grand Daughter Had A Amazing Day
Robert Ferello
I was curious as to what was in store. The venue in Nashville had plenty of convenient parking and the presentation was very enjoyable. I saw people come in and barely browse the show and leave obviously disappointed. If they weren't in such a hurry maybe the would have "got the message". My wife and l took it slow and moved through show while viewing it from varying locations within the venue. The music and visual content was soothing and very relaxing especially after finishing a busy week at work. We made a night of it and it was wonderful.
Caryl Neinas
Amazing Exhibit--both the Art and the Engineering to make it possible.
It should be publicized better, tho.
Nicole T.
It was so pretty and I enjoyed it. A bit overpriced for the 25-30 minute exhibit though
Marbeth Roberts
Parking was conveniently located and plenty of spots. We were greeted immediately upon entry to the venue and given directions to exhibit. The exhibit itself was phenomenal.
Ramona Huckstep
Totally amazing. The music and movement was mesmerizing. It was a wonderful experience for all ages. I have a new appreciation for Van Gogh.
Rick Greene
Two rooms with projectors showing all the things. One is 30-40’ tall. Get the seating pad, or bring one since the idea is to just sit, on the floor, there’s limited benches, and enjoy the experience of the music and images. It’s on a loop so it doesn’t matter when you come in. I enjoyed it, looking for Monet next.
Leah Bazarian Greene
My dear Friend & I are still in awe of the Fabulous experience we had! My family had seen it in Los Angeles & so they giving us the heads up on making sure you watch it off at least two times if not three! Best advice ever. Every second was mesmerizing & worth every cent! I wouldn’t even mind seeing it again!
We do wish they had a CD of all the music used!
The only negative was the prices of all items in the gift store! Lots of young kids/students & couples were there & I watched how the prices affected their choices which was zero purchases for many. That was a bit upsetting & sad.
Jackson Henry
It was definitely cool. Like many others have said, prices were super steep and personally I didn’t feel like the price was worth the experience. It’s a looping video projected on to the wall. There’s parts that are nice to look at, and then quite a bit that felt like filler. The gift shop is insanely overpriced ($75 tshirts. $900 rugs) but the employees were great. If you aren’t super into Van Gogh I wouldn’t recommend
J Tatum
It was beautiful. It brought movement, focus, and comparison to a half dozen of Van Gogh’s works, all well set to music. But it is only a few works, and lasts 30 minutes at most. It was a moving experience, but you'll have to decide for yourself whether it is worth the price, which seems high.
Lisa Perry
The Immersive Experience was profoundly moving; if one will sit and allow the art and music surround them it will reach deep into the soul.
The venue is spacious, comfortable and easily navigated. Staff are kind and very helpful with information on how to maximize your experience to the fullest. I look forward to, hopefully, attending again before it ends.
lasmitchell
It was very enjoyable! We watched it twice, once down stairs and next up stairs. The music was great!
Candace Lemons
I was brought to tears! It was an extraordinary magical journey through Vincent's life with his beautiful artwork.
Marilynn Decker
The Immersive Van Gogh was beyond wonderful! It felt like you were in the middle of the paintings. The painting was projected on the walls in front, side, back and on the floor. So glad we were able to experience!!
Laura Darnell
Our experience was wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful and the Immersive Van Gogh was breathtaking! Also a couple of the staff members took our picture since it was our 30th anniversary and gave us some free gifts. Lovely!! 💜 …
Lewis Matheney
I had NO idea that the exhibit would be transcendental and meditative, not to mention BRILLIANTLY executed - and ultimately inspiring to us as artists and me as a curator of other’s art. Just the sunrise and sunset were stunning. I truly went thinking it would be just an okay experience in which individual works of art would be projected and slightly animated, but it was a complete deconstruction of his work and an absolutely reverent pouring out of various “stirred” elements from a multitude of his works in ways that were harmonious, then invigoratingly discordant, but collectively can induce a pleasantly disassociayive state. If you’ve had any experience with “Magic Eye” books where you let your eyes relax, and do the opposite of crossing, in order to see 3D images in the books, you can do that at this exhibit and find yourself fully transported to another plane.
Jay
It was an amazing experience! Highly recommend it. The staff was also amazing and very friendly. Would definitely go back
Jane Oneill
Was a great experience…so glad we took advantage of it on our drive home. Could have been happy curling up on a sleeping mat and staying all day. So restful and calming.
yasmin graulau
I could literally sit on the floor against the mirror formations for hours upon hours rewatching the VanGogh Immersive exhibit. Such a beautifully assembled digital exhibit of VanGogh’s works of art. Looking forward to the next immersive experience, whomever they choose to display works of.
Ryan Horne
Me and my girlfriend had an amazing experience and can’t wait for them to bring in other artist later this year. Definitely plan on going back.
Ashley Beth
So beautiful. Everyone working there was completely amazing, just adding a great dimension to an already excellent experience. Thank you
Keona Gaspar
My experience was definitely an 11/10. I was in complete awe of seeing Van Gogh's work blown up in size. The art was put into a video on loop, but you are able to stay as long as you want. I ended up staying nearly 2 hours. You can watch it from the bottom, or you can go to the top which feels more intimate because not many people go up there, surprisingly- at least when I went. 100% recommend going if you are a fan of Van Gogh.
Mandy Burton
I purchased my tickets in April of 2021. The event did get postponed a few times, but out of all honesty it was worth it. I am so glad I held onto them and decided to go. The atmosphere and viewing rooms were amazing. We watched it several times and it was really cool how they brought several paintings to life. The music that went along with the production was great as well. It definitely helped with the paintings and what Van Gogh must have been feeling during some of his paintings. Also seeing the paintings on such a large displayed really helped with looking at the finer things, such as his technique and brush strokes and how he put so much detail and craziness yet beauty into his art. I highly recommend this event to everyone.
The staff was so nice and polite. It was clean and the temperature was nice. The seating was great, weather you wanted to sit on a bench or on the floor with a a cushion.
The only issue I had and it wasn’t with the event or the staff, was there was a group of young (20’s) that decided to talk and laugh through a portion of it at one time. This was rather annoying. I suggest to anyone that goes, just be quiet and enjoy it. Talk afterwards. Put your phones away and just get lost in the moment.
Bryan Morton
I love art, and this presentation style was unique to me. I still think I prefer a more traditional exhibit; a blend of both styles would be ideal I think. I wish the presentation was a bit longer. You are able to stay as long as you want, I believe. But Van Gogh made a lot of work, I wanted to see more.
Stephen Graham-Ching
The Van Gogh exhibit was wonderful! Nice facility and friendly staff!
Suzie Schulenberg
Great experience for my family and for me. It was a field trip for my boys, who are home-schooled. I learned so much about Van Gogh at this event that I never knew before. His art came ALIVE with the incredibly beautiful and artistic video that was played with the corresponding music. The video was an amazing piece of art, itself, and a nice escape into the world of Van Gogh. We didn't know what to expect before arriving. It exceeded my expectations and took me on a escape to Van Gogh's world for about an hour...I wish it lasted longer and had more to the exhibit like seeing more details about each of his most popular pieces of art. The items in the gift shop were pretty pricey. It would have been nice to have something more interactive for my boys (age 10 & 12). Thanks for making this available in Nashville!
Tyler Hall
Incredible sensory experience. I would definitely recommend, even if you know nothing about Van Gogh!
William Butler
It's hard to describe the experience. It was really good though. Recommending it to everyone who doesn't mind sitting for a while
Cera Burnham
One of the best experiences ever! Whether you're an absolute Van Gogh lover or just want a really cool experience I whole heartedly recommend this immersive experience. The staff was also so incredible!!! Everyone was in great spirits, offered to take pictures of my friend and I, and complimented my Van Gogh inspired outfit. One worker even gave us each a sunflower to take home with us. Truly amazing!
Gina Mclaughlin
Beautiful venue, beautiful building would have liked it to be 15 minutes longer, it was awesome!
barbara turnbaugh
Very nice venue. Very welcoming.Loved the Interactive Ban Gogh…amazing and beautiful!
Hannah Crowell
Van Gough is beautiful !!! The other shows offered here don't compare to van Gough
amy burnett
I had an amazing time with my friend. I am a wheelchair user and it was 💯 accessible in all areas and that made the experience even better. Thank you so much for a great time out with my friend that was not awkward in any way. …
Shelby Hoard
I brought my Mom for Mother’s Day and we both had a wonderful experience. Disclaimer, you’re sitting in the floor watching a projection of his paintings brought to life. My admiration was also influenced by mine and my Moms shared experience together.
Anna Tannehill
The exhibit was amazing. I highly recommend it... Staff was very friendly and they had a huge gift shop area.
Terry Salmon
I felt the expression of Van Gogh’s work was beautifully done. I think one thing that would have made it a little more enjoyable could have been a small pamphlet explaining the way the exhibit was set up and maybe a suggestion to watch the surrounding exhibit twice from two different spots as there were small differences depending on where you sat. The pamphlet could also include the timeline at the beginning of the exhibit as a keepsake. I think next should be an immersive Monet exhibit! Thank you!
Bruce Baird
Incredible artistic exhibition by both Van Gogh and the team that created the phenomenal audio and video experience.
Hope B
Very nice. Van Gogh's paintings just came to life.
Al Byrnes
A few words to describe This experience would include powerful, moving, emotional, thrilling, inspiring and overall VERY IMPRESSIVE. DO NOT miss this. The music is such an added bonus. There are not enough stars. Beautiful.
Sharon Powell
Exceeded expectations especially since the space was not crowded during my visit. Beautiful visually, lovely music, meditative overall.
Jenny Radke
Very beautiful exhibit with well thought out additions, like a sunflower patch/mirror for photos on the balcony overlook.
Kathleen Regan
stunning! such a unique experience. wanted to sit there all night looking at his work!
Brad Vahovick
Wonderful experience. Look forward to the Immerse Monet & Impressionists show.
Corey Lemon
It was amazing! We took our very active 6 year old son and he even loved it!
Cheri Langel
The show was stunning. Only complaint would be not informing anyone they are cashless in the gift shop and also that doesn't open until 12:30
Jennifer E Weaver
What a beautiful experience of Van Gogh’s amazing works! We loved it!
C H
Had a great time! So cool to see his art come to life in a unique way. We enjoyed the show twice, downstairs and then from the balcony. Definitely worth the wait!
Cam Ross-Clow
Great experience! We had a very nice time. I would definitely go again!
Kyle Denton
What a fun experience, so easy to feel peace and kindness with the people around you.
Tabby Roths
It was beautiful! The music made the experience ten times better. We sat through it more than once.
James Free
Wonderfully vivid and beautiful display of iconic works of art. Tells a story.
Pat Smith
It was beautiful. I really wanted to cry. He was a great artist and his life ended way to soon
Lewis Whitener
After waiting nearly a year to take my family to the Van Gough Experience in Nashville, I was a little dissapointed. Immersive should make you feel like you are inside the painting. What you get is an @ 25 minute loop of a video on the walls. I enjoyed it, but it was not what we expected. At $60 a ticket, I expected more. The atmosphere was nice, the music loud, but nice.
Dennis Coburn
We really enjoyed the Immersive Van Gogh exhibit. If you go, make sure to experience the second floor view
Arron Campbell
Really wonderful experience! The VIP package is well worth it, take advance of the upstairs area!
Amy Delk
Beautiful! A treat for any Van Gogh fan. If you are not a fan already, you may become one after experiencing this. I can’t wait to see what they do next!
Claire Matlock
Loved the Venue as well as the Immersive Van Gogh . So glad we went. Well worth it
Greg Jones
Incredible experience. It was like being inside his paintings, among the brushstrokes.
Ashlyn Parson
It was incredible and exactly what I had hoped for + more. I wish I could go see it again!! Amazing job. I hope the people who have given a poor review whom haven’t even attended yet will change their minds about going. Well worth the wait.
thomasshearer69
The immersive experience was incredible! What a wonderful way to appreciate the art work of Van Gogh.
Barbara Sullivan
Loved the experience. This is my second visit in Nashville. Saw it in Atlanta, and it was a little more complex including VR. But in this outing I saw things I missed before. Went to the second floor which was a better experience because you see everything in total instead of close up in pieces.
Elaine Wells
Unlike anything we've ever experienced! The artistic effects are incomparable, beautifully done and stimulating. The accompanied music is very well done. Probably will visit again before it leaves the city! Thanks for bringing it to Nashville!
Michael Cadle
I first saw the exhibit in Cleveland Ohio. A better venue. The Nashville venue has air vents on the walls that mess with the projections.
Lori MacMaster
In spite of the multiple delays and associated frustrations, this event was totally worth the wait! A wonderful experience both artistically, technologically and musically (it's a great soundtrack!). Be sure to enjoy it from all THREE rooms. Each provides a different perspective.
Ruth McConchie
Awesome show. All staff helpful and friendly. Very enjoyable experience.
Brian Quisenberry
This place is great . We came to the Van Gogh immerseive art experience and it was fantastic.
Sherry Hall
The Immersive experience was incredible! Highly recommend watching the show completely through at least twice, and viewing from every room. The pictures and music were very well thought out. Bravo 👏 …
Carlos Machicao
Nothing extraordinary. How could this business sell tickets in advance without even having secured a venue. Then cancellation after cancellation. I progressively lost excitement and hence it became an underwhelming show. The show itself lost some by the venue being irregular in shape instead of being a single large hall that could make things look more impressive.
Brandon Cronise
Awesome experience, this technology needs to be explored further and expanded into other artistic experience’s.
Terry Bonham
I have been all over the world and to the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam and nothing compares to extraordinary experience I had at this venue. Can’t what for more artists exhibits
RS
I personally went with friends and it was amazing experience. I bought tickets for my granddaughter who is an art student and brother who is an artist.....needless to say they loved it! The staff IS AMAZING and helpful.
Thank you for coming to Nashville.
Charlie Mitts
Incredible experience. The combination of Van Gogh art and music was extraordinary. Highly recommend you listen to the pre show audio. Will help the presentation make more sense.
Bill Burch
Outstanding exhibition! It’s like walking through Van Gogh’s paintings. Perhaps more like seeing with Van Gogh eyes
Rita Huffer
What a beautiful and sensual experience the Van Gogh presentation was! I’ve never seen anything like it! The music which accompanied it, made it even more enjoyable! My husband and I both enjoyed it very much!
Laura M Buchholz
We all loved it. You really do feel like you're in a Van Gogh painting. Cool space. Make sure to go upstairs and watch from a different perspective. Highly recommended.
Daphne R
April 2. My three take aways. 1) to see the Art works in such detail (not in a book or distant gallery) really gives you a deeper appreciation for his work, the layers of blended colors are amazing. 2) we should be grateful for the capacity of computers to scan, digitize the incredible detail of colors & complexity of colors in each portion of a Van Gough works is amazing. Then the shear capacity & capability of computers to generate the images and animate those multiple layers of colors and fragments to provide this show is astonishing. 3) The genius of the creators to provide the vision, program the algorithms, to make this composition a reality is fascinating. Thank you all.
Nina Long
It was very interesting, vivid, colorful, felt like you were sharing what he experienced…at the same time it was relaxing…loved the experience would recommend it…
Joseph Guglielmo
In todays environment, the derisive essence in the US …. This enemy of the contention atmosphere…. Made me remember that we have a choice… wallow in negativity, or Immerse ourselves in events such as this. Which makes my Soul smile and once again embrace the immense beauty that exists in our World. Thank you !!!!
sheila allen
I went to enjoy this on a hot day thinking it would be dark and cool. The building was quite warm inside with only one fan in the bigger room. I was actually sweating. While it was interesting, I felt the price was a bit too high. I was in and out in 30 minutes tops.
Linda Gates
I had to drag my husband to the exhibit, and afterward he said it was great! He could feel the emotions Van Gogh conveyed. We really enjoyed ourselves!
Lisa A. Rizzoli
I absolutely loved this VanGogh exhibit in Nashville.
It is the 4th city I have seen it in— incredible.
Roderick Schmidt
The presentation was so much more immersive than simply looking at a painting on a wall. The music added a layer of connection that the imagination alone can’t create.
Gina Whitney
It was really amazing!!! Van Gogh’s art has always had a sense of movement to it, and this immersive experience brought that life! And the blend of music was perfect! The whole thing was a work of art in and of itself! BRAVO! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 …
Kyungah Lee
Wonderful experience. We will love to see it again.
Chris “Eddie” Edwards
Was amazing but feel like a still gallery would be a great addition.
Debra Crawford
The exhibit itself was amazing. However, there was really no one to.advise on where to go. It was dark when we entered the small narrow room and so as not to interrupt others experience we stayed close to the entrance..We had no idea there was another very spacious room until we started to leave and just happened to see it. We entered that room and rewatched and it was a completely different experience. I didn't find out that there was an actual 3rd room to watch the exhibit until I read some reviews, so we missed out on part of the experience, which really is sad. With as much as we paid for tickets, there should have been someone to provide us with that information. Had we not discovered the 2nd room on our own, I would not have recommended this exhibit at and given a much different review. So for those who haven't been yet, there are 3 different rooms to experience the show, don't miss out.
Amanda Hill
Hands down need to go and check this out!!! Such an amazing experience!! I took my 17 year old son, who is also an artist and he couldn’t stop talking about how amazing it was and wanting to do more things like this!! Way to go to those that put this together! Also thank you to the staff for such an inviting and friendly environment!!!
Melissa Frost
We truly enjoyed it. Would love to experience other art this way.
Carol Ludgate
We went to the exhibit Monday morning in Nashville. It's located in an easy to find location with free parking on-site. The line was short and moved quickly with the assistance of helpful and courteous attendants. We loved the expansive panorama and how the music was synced to each piece. There are 3 places to view the exhibit -- single wall height, double wall height and on the balcony looking down. Each provides a different perspective! I also learned alot about Van Gogh and was sorry to learn he died so young before he became famous. Highly recommend this experience!!!
Kelly Moutray
This was incredible and far exceeded my expectations! Everyone who created this masterpiece experience, touched the soul, making it feel as if you was part of Vincent’s paintings and emotional states!
Denise Kerlikowske
This is perfect for those who love to look at the details when they experience art and can loose track of time. Immersive Van Gogh is just that. It is fast paced and constantly evolving -so much that we stayed for 2 complete showings. First round, We were stationary, looking all around us (360 degrees), then moving around to the two bottom floor rooms and then the overlook. Don’t miss the second floor view. You get to see what is projected on the floor as a whole . The flow and movement is truly spectacular. Plus, move around the mirrored sculptures for added enjoyment. There are about 2 short sections that make you feel that “elevator up/elevator down” feeling. So beware of walking around during those times. The music really adds to the feeling when the colors change. Please read the information about the exhibit and Van Gogh’s life. It will give you insight about the images and the way they are presented. I was smiling the entire time, open to the next surprise that would reveal itself to me and carry me away in a wash of color. #VanGoghNashville
#LighthouseImmersive
Rebecca Ayers
Wasn’t sure what to expect. The way they had the “exhibit” set up was brilliant you could sit/stand/lay anywhere and you had a great view. Plan to return when they do Monet in the fall
Alan Peltz
Immersive Van Gogh was fantastic! Saw it first in Paris, and now in Nashville. Will certainly go to the next program at Lighthouse ArtSpace. The staff is very helpful, and Lighthouse is eary to reach, with excellent parking.
Kylie Avery
Immersive Van Gogh was an incredibly unique and beautiful experience! It was well worth the money and the creative teams who put this together did a beautiful job of bringing his art to life. Would absolutely attend another event.
Kim Gustafson
Such a wonderful experience! I could have sat there all day!
Alie Streeter
The a Van Gogh immersion experience literally brought tears to my eyes. So amazing! Staff was knowledgeable and helpful.
Mary Blachly
This was a unique way to experience art. Turning static two dimensional work into moving, morphing multi-dimensional visuals ... I've never seen anything quite like it! The music that accompanied it, and the brief introduction that laid out a timeline of Van Gogh's life and relationships both enhanced the exhibit. I look forward to the next exhibits that follow Van Gogh!
Two cautions: my best friend has motion sickness, and the morphing and moving images bothered her; the music is a little loud (it's immersive) and it is unsettling, as it evokes Van Gogh's deteriorating mental state - it may leave you feeling unsettled or anxious - it did me.
The museum store at the beginning and end of the exhibit is chock full of great, beautiful gift items!!! Start your Christmas shopping early!
The Relaxing Room (Stuff I Love!!)
This event was amazing! To think that someone has come up with a way to make paintings come alive to music- Van Gogh would have started crying if he saw this show! To watch how a painting comes to life and then moves right in front of your eyes. The music that accompanied the show was also perfect. A match made in Heaven! I do want more of this! Also I wish I could have gotten the music to the show to play in my car, home, and work- Then every time I listen to a piece of music that painting would become a painting in my mind- Thank you to Massimiliano Siccardi for creating an awesome exhibit. To all the staff and creative team and the on site team- Thank you for a new way to look at art- A fan for life- Paul & Ginger Cookson, Nashville TN
Paula Nance
I shared this experience with my daughter and granddaughter who had just done a paper on Van Gogh. It was beautiful, peaceful, and informative. Thank-you for bringing this exhibit to Nashville. Thank you Van Gogh. I may go one more time while it is in town.
Mark Harman
Awesome way to experience an art exhibit! Definitely will check out more of these shows.
Scott Martin
We loved the art, the music, the Immersive nature of the rooms - we loved it!
Faine Williams
Absolutely amazing. Romantic, intimate, breathtaking.
Debra Weir
This was not your average "Art Exhibit" when when the title of the show stares immersive they mean it. From the time I walked into the gallery I was hit with the sights, sounds and images of Van Gogh's works in living color popping off the walls almost to where you could almost be sitting by the artist as he paint. I was overwhelmed and amazed by the entire production. I look forward to going to another one of these types of immersive shows.
Maria Mariani
The entire experience was simply awesome. Mesmerizing, emotional and sensational. I sat through the loop 5 times - each time from a different vantage point. I’m so glad I saw this exhilarating show!
Stephanie Lynn-Brown
This was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. I feel like I get his art now, like I can actually connect with it. There were emotional moments, seeing the art come to life was absolutely amazing!!!
Mark Hooks
The experience was very well done. The display of his works and music was amazing. You could really see the detail of his technique and the vivid displays were breathtaking.
Melody Matney
We saw the show yesterday afternoon and were blown away by the beautiful way the artwork faded into the next piece, and the added movement made us feel like we were inside the art. We absolutely loved it!
jill overholt
It was amazing. Awe inspiring. I could have stayed all day. Don't miss it!
Lilly Cee
Absolutely beautiful experience!
The ONLY thing I wish were different is gift shop had something other than everything made in China. I didn't purchase anything because of that but have my pictures!
Daniel McDade
Beautiful and moving. An exhibition not to be missed.
Tasha Shelton
Such an amazing experience! I was instantly moved to tears when I walked into the room. Not at all what I expected but in a pleasant way. I sat through it twice! I definitely recommend going.
Jeanie Hambrick
It was beautiful. The music along with the art created a feeling of warmth.
Pam Cram
I have seen it twice and there were things I picked up on the second time I went. The colors, movement, music, information on the walls all have an amazing way of comfort my together to make the experience an awesome one both times.
Olivia Corn
I’m not making ch of an art buff but I loved this experience. I would recommend this to everyone!
tiffany eddy
What a cool way to see an artist’s paintings. We enjoyed it very much
Matthew W
I was expecting more 3D to the experience. But it is a fresh take on art. The blend of music and artwork was well joined. NOT something I would take ANY age child that is not into art already but would be FANTASTIC as a teaching aid!
Angelea Y
It was really cool. I don't regret going but it was standing in a room watching a video ... but it was like you were sitting in the middle of it because it was projecting all over all walls and floor. It did give you a little vertigo . Gift shop was crazy over priced but I bought stuff anyways lol
Scott G
It was awesome if you like his work I would definitely check it out...💯 …
Anita S Bolton
This was definitely worth attending. We bought our tickets over a year ago and finally got to go the end of April. I loved it so much I might go again.
Regina Mullins
Absolutely amazing!!
I took my 17 year old daughter for her birthday. She loved it and so did I.
Eric Mazzoni
Make sure to watch it once in the smaller room, the bigger room, and from the balcony. Overall I enjoyed it, although maybe they could have done more with the hallway by including interactive elements or information.
Holly Taylor
Loved the music, animation and artwork. The sunflowers were my favorite. The info before the exhibit was well done and informative. The workers were knowledgeable and helpful. Great experience.
Tara Hewlett
Presentation is a grand experience. I have already bought yickets for The Nutcracker next month.
Delann Harris Dunbar
Amazing experience!! The art was brought to life in such a beautiful and creative way. My family and I truly enjoyed it.
Misty Martin
This event is truly immersive. The visuals are stunning and the accompanying music takes it to another level. I love that it is self paced so you can take as much or little time as you like while viewing from different areas.
Cathy Wilkes
It was truly one of the most enjoyable forms of art that I've ever seen.
Keri Walters
Best art exhibit I've ever been to!
Anthony Jones
WOW.
VanGogh was amazing!
Josh McKibben
Great price & environment. Not too crowded. Very kid-friendly.
Paul Fox
This experience was amazing. If you like Van Gogh, or if you just like different, interesting experiences, I would highly recommend this completely immersive exhibit.
Lynda McNamara
Van Gogh experience was lovely, but too short. Venue is beautiful. More seats needed.
melanie moon
It was awesome!! It was a Christmas present for my husband!
John-Mark Clark
Second time I've gone. Very impressive. Don't forget to try out the VR galary and the AI letters to van Gogh. Plan for 1-2hrs to absorb it all.
Ryan Mathewson
Approx. 30 minute looping show. It's a solid okay, but not for the money that we had to spend and the 2 hour drive. Go put a picture of Starry Night and put it really close to your face with weird music. About the same. Technology that runs the show is good, but it just wasn't what I call "Immersive".
Dustin Thomas
It was an amazing exhibit. Nothing like anything I have seen before
