When I fist heard about this place I knew I had to take my son there to check it out. I had been by there many times, but I had never been in there before. It's been a few years since I've been there, but when me and my son went there we were amazed at how much stuff there was to see in what seemed like a small (but it's really not) area. Of course I could not go there and not bring my camera with. Both me and my son LOVED it there. I think we should go back there for some more fun some time soon!!

It's a great museum for all things relating to firefighting for kids and adults. There are a number of fire engines and trucks, a mock-up of an old fire house dining room, a historical dispatch room/switch board, a fire pole for the kids, a hook and ladder driving simulator, and a large event space for gathering or kid's birthday parties. And don't miss the excellent 35W Bridge collapse exhibit. Highly recommended!

We booked the Firefighters Hall & Museum today for my son's 5th birthday party, and it was amazing! During the two hours, we received a really interesting tour of the museum, were able to sit in a ladder truck after a firefighter demonstrated the gear that they wear, the kids could slide down a fire pole, and then had some playtime on the old fire equipment. We also got to ride around the neighborhood in a firetruck. The kids (and adults) had a blast! What a neat little gem. We will be back!

We love this place. Affordable and approachable for a morning out with our toddler. Even when it’s busy with birthday parties it doesn’t seem as crowded as other local museums can get.

Was only there for about five minutes to get information on birthday parties, but it looked amazing! Everyone that was there seemed to be enjoying themselves. I plan to come back with my kiddos!

This place is AWESOME for kids! Lots to see, touch, and play with. Plus actual fire engine rides! My 3-year-old twins adore it.

This is a hidden gem in Northeast Mpls. We had a great time. My 2 1/2 yr old granddaughter had a blast. The topping was a ride on a fire truck!
