Reviews of Please Touch Museum
Blue Water Power Washing
Great place to take the kids every so often, typically whenever the special exhibit changes. My daughter loves the grocery shopping area sponsored by Giant. So much fun and very interactive to keep the kids entertained. Also keep an eye on the special events going on for the day. Arts and crafts, story time and other things are nice to participate in amongst all the other areas. Would recommend getting there first thing so you don't have to wait to get in.

This place is awesome for little kids. My babies are 5 and 0 and there truly is a little something for everyone here. There are so many cool interactive exhibits and imaginary play spaces for the kiddos that you could easily spend a few hours there. You can either pack your own snacks or grab something from the cafe. There is cafeteria seating available for lunch and refillable water bottle stations throughout. They even have a cute little theatre where they do different shows. They did such a cool Kwanzaa presentation last month. A bonus is that they also have an indoor carousel. $5 for unlimited rides. Definitely money and time well spent.

Absolute gem of a place. Excellent place for 1 to 6 or even 7 year old kids to have fun in many areas. Place to have fun with water, painting, grocery store set, pizza and cake kitchen and lots more interesting things for kids. My son loved it so much that I’m thinking of bringing him here at least once a month. There is a carousel as well with unlimited rides.
There is a parking facility but you can also park in the near by streets.
Highly recommend this place .

This place is amazing. I have a 10month old granddaughter and I was skeptical that there would be enough for her to do. Not only is is there plenty for all ages but the staff there are very interactive with the kids and engaged her completely. They have a cafe there that was good. The pizza was better than average and they have a case of Bassetts ice cream.
The accessibility is good. I could easily navigate the museum with my scooter and easily access the bathrooms. Parking was accessible and easy to reach from the building entrance.

The kids definitely enjoyed themselves. I took off a star because I feel there's much more they could do with such a big building! We enjoyed the workshops they offered as well! The rocket launcher was a huge hit with everyone who went back there (not just our family).
The Alice in wonderland theme was very fun! Hard to maneuver with anything outside of a umbrella stroller, but still fun!

My daughter absolutely loves it here. I highly recommend trying out their little-kid-friendly art classes downstairs, their staff are amazing with kids and easily handle a big classroom while taking walk-ins as they teach. Their method for clearing out the lower level by starting a parade and handing out instruments and guiding everyone upstairs is adorable, genius and hilarious. There is SO much to do and see, and the updates work really well. Love love love it. Worth every penny of our membership. 👏🏻🥰

Great place for kids, lots of exhibits and fun areas for them to play around. Highly recommend coming early as this place closes exactly at 4:30 PM and there are few sessions like Arts class that ends by 3 which are a great way for kids to learn new skills, Carousel closes at 4:00 so which is one of the main attraction here and something you shouldn't miss.
Plenty of parking space, Small cafeteria available. You need at least 2 hours to see everything. The Space, Grocery store exhibits were really good.

It's a wonderful place! I wish they would enforce masks throughout the building. The guard at the front door said something to my son because it wasn't over his whole nose but once you get it there were adults and children everywhere with no masks. Otherwise it was a great experience. The little grocery store area downstairs is the cutest !

The Emotions at Play exhibit is great! There are so many stations to interact with, and the kiddos are familiar with the colorful characters. Visit the outer space area and find the customized windows adorned with the phases of the moon, another window with planet colored circles, and a 3D hanging replica of the planets hanging from the ceiling. If you're looking down, you'll see a rocket ship hop scotch leading you to the new Doctors office equipped with an MRI, CAT scan, and x-ray machine. Then you can go grocery shopping with mini shopping carts and lots of food choices. The self-checkout is a big hit along with the pizza oven and grill. The Carousel is beautiful and fun. There are so many things to do and see! They also have lockers, a coat check, and wheelchair rentals. 5 stars!

One of the best children's museums we've visited! Our kids happily spent an entire day here. We thought the entry room, water play area and Alice in Wonderland areas were beautifully done. The food area on the lower level was the kids favorite, it has lots of fun details for imagination play. The cafe food disappointed everyone but it's very nice that they let you bring in your own and have something to eat on site.

Hands down the coolest museum I’ve ever been to and our toddler had the BEST a time. There’s SO much to do - you could literally spend the entire day there…or go for the morning, get the stamp, and come back later! Perfect for hot summer days. There’s so much to learn and explore, especially for young kids, but I imagine even a 10 year old would have the time of their life!
Susie Lim
We were here for three hours, and it was not enough! We rushed through the other half of the building. There are obviously so much that my 2 and a half year old loved doing. I think this is one of the best indoor place for 2-3 year olds, although there were many older kids we saw. The entrance fee was stiff (and it is not part of the city pass), but I thought it was very worth it. The cafeteria offered a good selection of food (pizza, sandwich, snacks etc.) and the eating area was spacious (~12 tables). You can bring outdoor food.
Princess
I have been taking my daughter here for years. 9 to be exact and she still loves the experience and so do I. They always have new and fun learning exhibits. They built a new shopping center which is bigger and way better than before. They have multiple rooms with different hands on activities. The best room is the cents room which educate the children and adults on the importance of saving and investing money.
Farhan Sadique
Nice organized museum, kids can spend hours! Parking available roadside, don’t have to pay $16 for convenient parking. Lots of things to do for kids for every ages. Play space for kids under 2 or 3 or 5! My kids loved the ride and games!
Leah Getzoff
Good value for a fun day. After spending almost $300 at Legoland two days before, this was a welcome experience. My son and I both had so much fun in the mini grocery store, we loved the space room and the special Rube Goldberg exhibit. Spent 4 hours here of nonstop play, I was grateful for the experience and the fact that they have decent coffee in the Cafe :) Would visit again, educational, fun, cool place.
Carmen Ghiran
Wonderful place to bring children aged 2-8. Membership is better as one can visit as many times as possible within the year. Two floors with interactive games for children and learning activities (you need to sign up for those as space is limited). Highly recommend!
Georgia Carvin
Absolutely love this place! Rain or shine it's a great place to spend a few hours. My son is almost 2 and loves every exhibit here. The membership pays for itself 1000x over! The workers here are also all so kind, I've yet to have a negative experience. One of the only museum cafes that's not outrageously overpriced. Today the man who makes the food in the cafe even went out of his way to make my son tater tots at 11am. They weren't out yet(because who else but a 2 year old wants tater tots at 11am.) But he immediately said "I have them!" And ran in the back to happily mke him some! Made our day with a small act of kindness! ☺️ Thanks Please Touch!

Lots of things to do with little kids. My son and I loved the mini supermarket. They should add a quiet area for nap time and complementary wine vouchers for parents because it was rough getting him off certain areas to take turns. Also there were bigger kids, I'm talking about 10 year old in the same play areas as 2 year Olds. There was one area for 2 and under but that was it. They should have more age specific play areas so little guys don't get run over. Cafe had a good variety of food for kids and adults.
Whitney Carstetter
Phenomenal! My SIL and I brought our youngest kids here and they loved it! So many neat rooms. They could spend all day here! Everything was clean, and the staff were friendly! Can't wait to return again!
Sam Chiappone
Such an amazing places for the kids! They have such a wide variety of exhibits that kids can use. There is a nice carousel as well and for $5 , you get unlimited rides. If you have kids, it worth checking out for sure. We enjoyed it and will come back if we are back in Philly
Veronica Preiss
So fun. Fair prices.. if u have snap its 2 dollars per person for up to 4 people and the food prices were good as well. Lots to do for the kids. Could have spent the whole day there. Will definitely be there again sometime
Paige Russell
We took our daughter to the Please Touch Museum to see the Doc McStuffins exhibit they are currently featuring. There is street parking along the street in front of the museum or paid parking in the museums lot. They had an offer for free admission for military families so our admission was entirely free which was great! They were also doing free ice cream for National Ice Cream Day for a period of time that day.
The museum itself is in a beautiful, historical building. It was pretty breathtaking when you walk in and is kind of surprising as a children's museum. We got our tickets online so we just had to wait in a fairly short line to have them scanned.
There are 2 levels of exhibits with elevators, stairs, and ramp access. The lower level had an Alice in Wonderland exhibit that, being a HUGE fan, I loved! The "painting the roses red" activity was very cute and not something I'd seen before. There was an area for children 3 and under, which there are several of around the museum. Further into the lower level there is an arts room and at the end are areas set up as a bank, grocery store, restaurants, etc. There were tons of accessories for the kids to play with. Unfortunately a lot of the accessories had been scattered across the whole museum despite the signs requesting items be kept in their areas. They do close the areas to restock the items several times throughout the day which is nice.
The upper level had the Doc exhibit, outdoors/space exhibit, car repair, water table areas, a block building area, and a beautifully maintained carousel. They provided waterproof vests for the water play area which is really nice. The carousel is an extra fee, but you get unlimited rides so if your kiddo loves them then it's worth it.
If you're able, I would recommend visiting on a weekday. It was pretty busy being Saturday, but there were enough exhibits to spread the crowd around. I think this whole museum is geared more towards 5 and under ideally. There were plenty of bigger kids there, but they kind of overtook a lot of the areas so littler kids had a harder time getting involved. There were also a lot of kids who weren't being monitored very well. That isn't any fault of the museum, but did inhibit my soft spoken 3 year olds ability to get an opportunity with some of the toys.
The museum is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff were all lovely and it was definitely worth the visit. If you have a younger child or one that's less aggressive at getting involved I would try and go at a less busy time.
Paul Kyle
What a wonderful experience. I wish I had found this museum earlier while living in the area. My 4 year old could spend all day here. She adored the water section of the museum.
Vincent Lee
Not a member and we parked just outside using the park's street parking along main road. Well organized children museum with lots of theme. Great details in each room, our kids loved the events offered every hour or so.
Seven
Not a lot of staff but a lot of fun. My nephew loved it, had the time of his life. So much to do and plenty of hand sanitizer. We found a lost child and returned them to their parent which was the only stressful part of the experience.
I recommend the carousel and the photo booth also has a great value.
Alyssa Reynoso Morris
My daughter loves it here. She is two and we got the membership because she doesn't tire off this place. We have been here like 5 times and she loves the transportation exhibit, food shopping, and the slides available in a few of the other exhibits. But her favorite is probably the carousel. With the membership you can ride the carousel for free an unlimited about of times. Another perk of the membership is free parking. It's always so much fun.
Asim Rasheed
Been coming here for years and years but the exhibits now are not well maintained. Still a lot of fun for young kids. The water exhibit was always a highlight in the past but now the water pressure was not very impressive and kids were done with the whole thing in like 10 mins! I wish they do the up keep!
Anessa Ngan
Our first time here and my boys love it!! Great place for kids to explore and experience hands on. It was hard getting my son to leave the water area 😊 …
Angela Ma
Free parking on the street. If you come early in the morning, there are plenty of spot vs $16 for parking.
You can pay $2/pp up to 4 people total if you have PA EBT card.(show ID and your EBT card).
This place is miniature world for kids! Its a self guided 2 floors museum. Staffs are very nice. Order tickets online on weekend in advance to make things faster and smoother for your visit.
Rob Shum
our daughter had an incredible time at this museum! initially thought she would be overwhelmed but that certainly was not the case. her eyes opened wide the moment we walked passed the ticket counter. evidently her favorite space was the little supermarket downstairs. she loved pushing her cart around and especially checking her own items out at the register...and there is so much more than that. really wish we had something like this at home. we would definitely have an annual pass to this place.
Christina Kalix
Went with our first grader. Had so much adventure. This was second time there. Last month was first. This was a school sponsored field trip, so I don't know what prices usually run. However, my student did even more activities than the first trip. The Lion King exhibit is closed up now, and the next one is being installed. Staff are so kind to all the children and adults. I had a great deal of fun too. I'd say Please Touch Museum is best for 3rd or 4th graders and younger.
Eveline Dickens
We came during the free community day and luckily found street parking. Otherwise we would’ve paid almost $80 for 2 adults, 1 child and parking. I think it’s not worth it for this place. There’s a lot of exhibits, but you can’t really do much. A lot of things need some serious maintenance. A pro is the hand sanitizer stations on every corner and $5 unlimited carousel rides! I don’t think we’ll be back, but it was an okay one time experience.
Keep in mind if you plan on coming during the free community days that it’s extremely crowded and loud, a lot of parents not watching their kids and you have to wait in long lines for everything.
Gina Martinelli
This place is a Philadelphia classic and is so much fun to bring kids to. It's just magical in there! So many different environments and pretty much anything goes for kids to play. The membership is also a really good deal if you plan on visiting more than once a year.
adam foster
Great way to tire the kids out without having to worry what they're touching or doing because they're allowed to touch everything. Plenty to do for all ages, the supermarket was hectic nothing was on the right shelf and most of the employees couldn't read. But that's what happens when kids run the joint. That's showbiz baby
Andrew Pollen
Went for free Community day in August 2022. Our toddler found lots to do, although some of the interactive stations lost their interactivity, likely due to COVID - for instance, hundreds of rubber duckies in a glass display vase. Recommend for all kids under 10.

I have documented several wedding at the Please Touch Museum and it is an incredible venue! Firstly the staff is a pleasure to work with and very accomidating. Food is excellent and everything Brulee catering does is unique and delectible. There are so many unique and interesting locations to photograph both indoor and outdoor here. The only negative is you can't get there until it closes to the public. You can always go to Fairmount Park and capture photographs or outside the building during public hours. The Carousel room is a must for photos and having your guests riding a caroseul at your cocktail hour is a huge wow factor. Speaking of wow factors the reception room has a gigantic statue of liberty torch scultpure that has to be lifesize. The space here is wonderfull especially for larger weddings with ample room for larger than 500+ guests. I highly recomend you check out the Please Touch Museum with Brulee catering for your venue in Philadelphia!

Definitely a great place to take children who are inquisitive and like to interact with displays. Something for all ages and abilities from walking age up. Lots of things for older children who like to read and play including areas for crafts and art they even have a water play area. Handicap accessible ramps and elevators throughout. Pay to ride carousel great for all ages. Restrooms conveniently located as well as a café with various snacks and drinks. Areas with tables and chairs great for relaxing and eating. Outside food is welcome so pack a cooler. Some displays change thru out the year to help with repeat visits. Learn while you play, what could be better?

Amazing place for kids 2 and up.. my kids had so much fun. You can literally spend all day there
Ameer Ahmed
A nice place for young kids, with plenty of activities. 2 floors of fun, and as the name says, the kids can touch everything. Good place to let them burn off some energy. Everything is indoors, so you never have to worry about the weather. The age for the activities was spread out, so there is something for everyone. I do wish they had something a bit more interactive. Overall a fun few hours
Alex L.
A great place of family fun for the kiddos especially on a cold winter day. We opted for the membership which gives free parking, unlimited carousel rides. Lots of things for the kiddos to play with.
The grocery store sponsored by Giant is open as well. A new section of the museum located downstairs.
Great place to visit when it's cold outside and the kids have cabin fever.
Cariana Glessner
My 4 year old loved it! Just wish there were more exhibits. The size of the building suggests otherwise. But I did see a sign that there was a new exhibit in the works.
Nikki
This place is Amazing! The kids had so much fun! They loved it ❤️
Robert Benjamin Moore
Amazing place to bring your family or friends. Lots of fun indoor and outdoor activities. Highly recommended. God Bless You 🇺🇸 …
Logan Petrylak
Highly Recommend for anyone to take their kids. Even as an adult I enjoyed experiencing it with my daughter for the first time.
Irina Lak
I like the place very clean and friendly place. Staff is friendly and nice. Clean inside and out. So much rhings to do. They accept Access Card, so if you have access card for foos stamps buy tickets online and pay only $2 per person. But you need to select the option Access pass or something and pay $2 online. So much things that kids wants to do there and everything looks pretty cool. Play with water boats, cool statues like elephant from lots of trash items ( like pennsylavnia license plate, old heater, dolls, cars, spoons, water bottles). Tree house, story cabin, foam squares to build something, carousel is pay separate its $5 per kid. Maze on the second floor down. I just loved it. My kids fell asleep on the way home. We spend 3,5 hours walking there.
Diana DuVall
Had an amazing time playing with everything with my 2 year old. So much to do for all ages. Definitely worth the price, can't wait to come back!
Nicolas Sanchez
Our two year old son had a blast here! Tons of activities to keep kids occupied for hours. There is also free parking along the street.
M E
So much fun! We spent about 5 hours here with a 3 and 1 year old. It was very clean. Highly recommend!
Danell Roberts-Juarbe
This place is great for little kids (5 and under) it's not terribly big and could be a little cheaper especially for the adults. However it's great for growing minds and has some really cute areas of play for toddlers. I juat feel like 22 for the adults is a bit excessive. They could also use a better food selection in their cafe. Also anyone over 2 is required to wear a mask!
Monica Santiago
Great place for kids to have fun and learn, even for parents. I love the Alice in wonderland exhibit!
Rainy seven
We had a lot of fun there, many interesting and really beneficial things for kids! well maintained and organised.

This place is amazing. If we lived in Philly we would come all the time. Great place you can spend a full day here.
Tiffany Allen
Always a pleasant experience!!! My kids look forward to our visits. Their favs are the duck pond, the market, and the septa area.
Daniel Dunphy
Great for 10 and under, the older kids will feel out of place but secretly they're having fun too.
Michael Baab
Great place for your kids to run wild, just try to stay with them bc it's a big place.

Plenty of benches for parents to sit on and a full day of fun things to do for children. There are even areas dedicated to < 3 years old.
Reservation and mask required (as of this writing)
Josh Pagano
Incredible museum for children! You should 100% bring your kids here :)
Mona Al Hendi
Kids had lots of fun and didn’t want to leave! It was out first time, and I went with two of my friends and their kids. Place was nice, staff are friendly. I wish the staff was present at some locations in the museum. I know its covid and all and they don’t want the place to be crowded, and it wasn’t, but just for safety reasons. I’d definitely recommend this place to everyone with kids. It’s different, interactive, and kids loved it 😍
Jennifer Milagre
Such a cute place. My son who is 19 months fully enjoyed. Food was. Not overly pressed although parking is a little steep
Rojyar Ghavami
It’s a great place for kids and adults after hours/Party’s
Alex Karulin
The museum is awesome for kids of about 1-8 yrs. Tons of content, including interactive and educational stuff. The water play portion is innovative and fun. Several shortcomings: tickets are a bit pricey, a lot of the interactive stuff is broken and appears to have been broken for a while, it is easy for a kid to get lost in certain portions of the museum even if you're watching them like a hawk. Paid and unpaid parking is plentiful if you don't mind some walking. I haven't seen a lot of effort put into sanitizing touched surfaces so bear that in mind. Overall, it is very entertaining for little kids but don't expect a break in parenting.
Kloe Gallardo
Had so much fun. My sons 3 and he loved it and there’s parking on the street if you don’t want to pay 16$ for parking. Also they were super easy with changing the day I reserved our tickets for

Great for toddlers. I have an infant & a toddler. We have a membership pass and we always come to visit from NYC. we’ve been to many children museums on the eat coast, this is the best one. Much better than Boston Children’s. There are so many sensory hands on experiences in this place. You can spend a whole day here. Great place
Iesha Brown
Wonderful place for visually impaired individuals. My son chose the museum for his birthday this year and had an amazing time.
I also appreciate that they provide wheelchairs to those that need them. I had knee surgery recently and was on crutches. The wheelchair helped me keep up with my son and enjoy the experience with him.
Billie Cheston
My baby had a WONDERFUL time! Thank you. However, I remember going with my little brother's class 24 years or so ago and we touched tarantulas and other creepy crawlers! That doesn't happen anymore?
Sowbagya S P
Definitely Recommended this place for kids and toddlers. They will have fun.😃
Mitchel Manning
One of the most amazing children's locations I've ever been to. My daughter is only 18 months and it seems best suited to children closer to 3+. That said she had an absolute blast. Seeing her light up was so worth the visits.
A note for parents, be here right at open. Doc mcstuffins and the shopping area get crazy after an hour. The rest of the building is fine throughout the day. Monday was members only and our daughter had many of the exhibits to herself from 9-1030. It was so much more calm and relaxing.
Angelo Angelo
22 entry, we'll formatted and kids love it. 2 floors of exhibits, some special exhibits and lots of room to run.
Iraida Torres
Great interactive place for kids we took my 2 yr old Granddaughter and she loved it. Just FYI there is a parking lot which cost $16 but there is street parking as well so if you are looking to save a few bucks look for parking on the street but keep in mind if all else fails there is a parking lot.
Scott Lipscomb
A good place to bring younger children. My daughter had a great time. The main critique would he that there isn't as much to do here as we might like or expect--what they have is mostly good, but my daughter played in every exhibit within about an hour and a half. Also, some of the exhibits are aging and need repair or updating. Still, for young kids, a great option.
Z C
I would rate the place 3 stars from the lack of disclosing that parking is free along the street. I can’t tell you how many times I parked in their parking lot and paid such a high price for it when it was free the whole time. After digging through the website there was only one area I found that said parking was free along the street, it’s such a scam. (During the buying ticket process they specifically only mention that you gotta pay for parking ahead of time)
Other than that I feel like this place is large enough it can be 3 floors or have more areas of variety of play for the kids. I feel like the space could be used WAY. more efficiently than how it’s being used right now.
Bonnie Hoskins
This was an experience that I never will forget first time at the age of 62 with my grandchildren at this please touch museum. It was awesome. Amazing my grandbabies of course. Had a great time. So did I. And their mother, my daughter who I mean it was just everything and my grandson is at the age where you can't stop him from touching. So to be allowed to touch was everything for all of us. Thank you for a great experience. Definitely will be back when the 8-month-old baby girl gets old enough to touch 😁😁😁🥰🥰🥰
Travel and Eat
It looks like it's bigger with more attractions. But when you're inside it's not many things unless they're having an exhibit. It's fun for a few visits but I wouldn't purchase a membership. Since you can park on the St on Sundays we took advantage of that instead of the $16 for parking. They also give discounts if you have an access card or something else I forgot. Great for you and I think they said 3ppl with you. If not it's a little pricey so I don't think we'll be going back often. Like I said it isn't much for them to do or see for that price. No, you can't just borrow a card for the discount because they do check. 😂
Brittney Scott
The most amazing children’s museum and gigantic! We stopped in for a few hours to take a road trip break and this place is the coolest. Free street parking was a nice surprise and it wasn’t busy at all. Loved watching my 1yo & 3.5yo play. We will definitely be back.
Christine Baboomian
This museum is so much fun! You can easily spend hours in here without kids getting bored. It's fun to see all of the creativity the kids have and see them working/playing together. The Alice in Wonderland section was my favorite, and the super market was a close second. (I feel bad for whoever has to clean up that area at the end of the day). The best part is, they don't price gauge you once you get inside. We paid extra for unlimited carousal rides, but the price was reasonable. We didn't pay for parking. We parked across the street and walked about a block. I would recommend not pre-paying for parking and just look for street parking. If you can't find street parking, then pay for parking.
The biggest thing to be aware of inside is the fact that not all parents are watching their children. We had an issue with a child, not being supervised by a parent/adult, being aggressive and mean towards the other children playing with the brick mover/building thing. Even once the parent came over, they only intervened sometimes and would allow their child to try to hit or pull other kids without saying anything.
Michael Graff
Always a great time for the kids. The Cafe is good for lunch but pricey. Love the water table with all the rubber duckies for the kids, it flows all the way around the room and the kids get to change the flow of the water. Super cool.
Jeffrey Rosenbaum
This place is awesome! Took my kids here years ago at the old location. Now went with my 1 1/2 year old grandson who loved it. He could have spent all day in each room. Highly recommend!

My 14 month old had fun looking at the exhibits but it's not as interactive as I thought it would be compared to other children museums that I've been to. Carousel was fun but IMO should be part of the overall ticket price. Water table was disappointing since my little one couldn't even reach it and there weren't step stools for the younger ones.
Nadir Sharif
The Please Touch Museum is a wonderful space for young children. We have had our membership for just about two months now and both our toddler and his caregiver come here often. They're enjoying their unlimited rides on the carousel as I write this review.
If you live in the area, I would strongly recommend the membership, it will pay for itself in no time. They have special events and temporary exhibits that keep things fresh, and their permanent installations are quite engaging as well.
Melissa Tyler
The Please Touch Museum is great for kids. We have a membership and its definitely worth it if you go at least two times. My kids were 1 and 3 when we went and I feel comfortable just letting them explore. This year we attended the Count Down to Noon (A new years eve event) membership received a discounted admission but it was wonderful. The kids loved it and thats all that matters. FYI this is a kids play land so GERMS! They did have a lot hand sanitation stations and instructions to santize before playing at a new station.

I love this place I take the children at least once a year they have new exhibits every 3 months. And if you have an access card you can get in for $2. It's totally worth the trip take your kids. Take your nieces and nephews. Take your students. And don't forget to look at the activities for the day because they have a lot of great things for children to do on top of visiting the exhibits. And never gets old and you can easily spend the whole day here.
Kara Martin
Amazing! Took my daughter with Autism and had a great time. Kids are encouraged to explore through touch and play. Carousel and water play were among our favorites. Be prepared to decompress after all the input but worth it!!

The New Years Eve Party was spectacular. Everyone did such an amazing job. Unbelievable
Micky VanRip
Went with my 1 year old. It was ok. She had a decent time although it was a bit expensive. Issues I have are the designated toddler areas are not monitored by staff. So lots of bigger kids in there and it’s dangerous. Also the toys are Mia or not in the right spots. Wish there were staff to reorganize throughout the day. And clean. Very sticky
Chetan Hegde
Museum is fun for kids below 5. Not much for big kids. Nothing at all for adults. Adults gets mostly bored if kid is able to play and move around on its own. Sad thing is adults have to pay full amount of $22 for general admission.
Nate Battle
Very interactive place for children. Plenty of space so you don't feel on top of each other. Plenty of bathrooms around the exhibits. I would like to see more staff around the features to keep some children in line.
Alexandra McCoy
My daughter really enjoyed this place. I will say it would be nice to have a little more added to it. What was special about this place is the lack of moderness as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the display that integrated a bunch of older toys and had the ability to talk to my little one about it.
Talis Vitols
This is an absolute favorite for my kids. The hands on experience is amazing. The play without Borders events for individuals with sensory challenges/special needs are a great way to experience the museum with less stimulation.
Lisa Dougherty
We had a wonderful day at the museum with our four grandchildren ages 12 months to 11 years❤️ The staff was helpful, generous and kind during our entire visit! We lunch selection was excellent👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 We will certainly be returning …
Shannon “Shannon Lee” Stricker
Had a ball. The kids wore themselves out so much that they slept the whole way home. 😂 it was really a non stressful day and the ticket situation should stay. It wasnt over crowded at all. …
Manal Lutfi
Nice place to bring your kids they have unlimited carsul for only five dollars and a lot of places to play and have fun . you can buy snacks and coffee from the Cafe
Huguette Franchesca Perdomo
Very cool for the kiddos. My 13 month old had so much fun!
Eric P
Took my kid there because she earned a reward and that’s what she wanted to do. It is a pretty cool place for little ones to run around and play. Lots of different rooms with different activities. Loved the Alice in wonderland area. Fun little mirror maze. They have an art room for the kids to paint. A story time cabin where someone reads to the kids. They get four stars because the prices in the cafeteria are ridiculously overpriced plus we stood there for about 15 minutes without any of the 3 people working the hot counter even acknowledging us. And we have been to smaller places like this elsewhere that have cooler activities like a tv station (kids can pretend to be an anchor) and a tube situation to play simple songs on, plus other building toys.
Abigail Gustafson
The coolest kids museum I’ve been to in years! Activities for all ages and interests. Spacious and clean. Can’t wait to go back.
Sam McGarity
Perfect for my 2 year old! Join as a member so you can skip the line!
Kristy C
this place is great for kid. but they need to replace most of the toys in the basement. most of them are worn down or missing pieces or just so so old. but the top floor has a good new variety of toys all the time.
Chrystal Nelson
Great for kids in 4th grade and under. Great learning center for kids and parents. Great family interactions. If you have EBT you can. Us it there for your admission pay and food. If you don't use EBT to pay for your tickets it is very costly.
Kelly C
It was fun but I expected a bit more. Took my 8, 7 and 5 year old boys over there and they didn’t seem too entertained. Favorite part was the water area. Nice for taking pictures though!
Heather Robinson
I’m not sure who had more fun, me or my 2 year old. His favorites were the rocket room and the grocery store. They had great food options, but it was pricy.
Elisabeth Budd -Brown
Great museum for little kids! My daughter (5) and i loved exploring this museum. There was so much to see and do, I wish we had anither hour or so. Astronomy show was amazingly done, food was reasonably priced for a museum and they even have a carousel! Bathrooms were pretty clean, given the number of families there. Admission was a little higher than what i would've liked, but definitely worth it.
Lori Smith
I really enjoyed this museum with my young grandchildren. It is very big and there is so much to do. There is a carousel and the kids tickets are only $3.00 and then adults ride for free. There were a lot of neat hands on exhibits. One of our favorites was the Alice in Wonderland exhibit. They have so much to do we didn't have time to explore everything. I would definitely go back.
Amy Gepfert
Amazing museum for kids with so many things to do for kids of all ages. Love that everything is at the right height and they can try out so many activities and jobs. My daughter particularly loved the supermarket and choosing groceries for her mini shopping cart. The water activity area is great although younger kids (and some parents!) didn't understand currents and how some of the levers worked! I was particularly impressed by the clothing provided: smocks for water play, Alice in wonderland dresses etc. Definitely worth the effort to go, and try Groupon for deals on tickets as they are much cheaper!
Sonia Torres (Coolybotsone)
Love it because kids can touch stuff and lots of things to do but the only good for age 1 to 5 they should make it for older kids two 😉 …
Tan Low
NYE countdown to NOON was a true celebration, live performances, dancing, singing and even a ball drop at 12PM! Truly felt like NYE, son had a blast, will absolutely come every year!
hogwartsteacherspet
I took my 4 and 3 year olds to the museum for the first time today amd they had a blast. As a matter of fact, the 4 year old declared it "the best day ever!" There is a lot of stuff to do and friendly and helpful staff all around. There were (very limited) vegan options, but we all had lunch successfully at the cafe. The story time was cute and interactive. There were plenty of bathrooms around for the little bladders that don't wait too well! It was pricey, $50 for the 3 of us, plus $5 for each kid to ride the carousel, but we spent hours there doing fun and interesting activities, so I think it was worth the price of admission.
Anwar Hossain
This place is great for the kids. We will visit again soon with my boy as he likes this place. Lots of attractions for the kids. History, science and plenty of fun! Kids really enjoy this place. You need to have plenty of times as kids don’t want to leave the museum no matter how long they are playing. Adults will like their kids smiling and enjoying the rides! It’s so beautiful to see so many happy young soul is playing around and having fun 🎈🎈🎈🎈👏🙌
Konstantinos Rizakos
Really small, really basic, and for really small children! Very expensive, too ($76 for a family of four)
The exhibits are well crafted but they only cater to toddlers. Think of a wooden imitation-train engine, and a plastic lettuce that your toddler can throw in a tiny cart in a mini-supermarket.
The building is quite spectacular, as is a model of the 1876 fair for which it was constructed (in the basement). But that’s about it.
nilesh patil
This is amazing place. My toddler enjoyed a lot.
Too expensive though. Donno why they charge adults so much along with kid
Kathy R
Large place with diverse things for kids to do, but charging extra for the carrousel is a cheap move. Same with parking. More seats are needed for parents.
Elizabeth Moraux
Always a great visit! My toddler enjoys exploring all the different areas, and Mommy's favorites are the rocket room and carousel. The cafe and gift shop are lovely too!
Franc H
expensive ($19 per adult or kid), but reasonable for for you get.
two level with many areas of fun. top level houses massive water table on one side and fast-food/cafe, and transportation with real objects or very real replicas (including sit-in stationary monorail) on the other. in the addition on the side, one finds a Muslim theme exhibit, along with a camping scene, robot showcase, and a rocket launch. the top level alone was enough to kill half a day.
lower level has a life-size community combo: shoe shop, bakery, supermarket, mail service, small hospital (equipped with stationary ambulance, gurney, and MRI machine!), etc. middle of the section is art studio on one side, theater and railroad exhibit + huge landscape model on the opposite. towards the end is an elaborate Alice In Wonderland maze, combined with gift shop and ramp going back up to ground floor.
truly an amazingly designed place for kids age 2 to... at least 9. had to leave in a rush so didn't get to check out the carousel ($3 per ride, included in membership).
ample street parking outside. umbrella stroller available for loan.
Dara Cooper
My son had a lot of fun. The building is beautiful and there are a lot of things to grab at when you are here. The little grocery store, the docotrs office, the trolley, they were great to explore. The Alice in Wonderland set up was nice, which led to a big tree that you could play in. The big water play area was cool but it would of been nice if there was more to play with in it. It's definitely good for 6 and under because kids are a lot more hands on the , although it's still interesting enough for the next couple years following.
Clarke Moyer
Had a great time. the exhibits were well-thought-out and the museum overall is very large so you can spend a good amount of time without the children getting bored of any one section. The Alice in Wonderland section was a particularly well-designed location. There were Gardens and a mirror maze wall for the kids to enjoy. I highly recommend to visit if you have not been in a while as while I went as a child we have not come back in several years with our kids. Even though it's at a new location it is certainly also a newer Children's Museum to enjoy.
Carissa
Kids can easily spend all day here. Theres so many different rooms and the place is very clean. My daughter is 1 and although she couldn't do everything , she still had a blast with what she could. We were still there for 3 - 4 hours. Will definitely be returning !
James Bennett
Great place to take young kids. My 5 year old son absolutely loved it. The carousel is fantastic. The play areas are all educational and very well maintained. If you're a fan of architecture the building alone is worth the admission price. We will definitely be back!
Dennis F
Kids love this place, and it is a neat Grand building. However there are a few draw backs. First, it is $20 a person even babies and adults. Second, it isn't really much if a "museum", it is more of a kids play and activity center. There is not a whole lot to learn here.
Klschiellerd
My toddler loved it here, but it was over crowded and parents do not watch their kids or teach proper manners. Rude kids bigger then my 4 year old would just run up and snatch things out of his hands, with the parents encouragement, ridiculous. The facility itself was well kept and fun, the food was good, but overpriced 🤷 …
Vin Guercio
What a great way to spend the day with the kids. The place is huge, with more than 20 big, interactive place spaces with themes that range from construction to waterways to healthcare. Our 2 and 4 year old daughters absolutely loved it. If you have little ones and you’re within driving distance you should definitely make the trip.
Note that there’s tons of free street parking right in front of the building.
Amit Gupta
Wow. It feels like you are walking into a historical building. And it's by FAR the biggest children's museum I have ever been to. I am also glad I had half off tickets with reciprocity membership. I think you could probably spend all day there and not go through everything. Definitely a place you can lose the little ones for his. Highly recommended.
Queenie LaNY
This museum is way much bigger than I thought it would be! It’s so huge and beautiful from the outside look!! The moment I went inside, I felt like I enter the magical kingdom of kids! There are so many interesting interactive items for kids to touch and play. Kids can be anything they want in there! Also there are so many fun and cute pretend stores there for kids to pretend to be anyone they want to be! Not only the kids would have fun, so does the adults!
Kimberland Dumont
Me and my kids first time here and it was great. My kids really enjoyed themselves.
marigold nepomuceno
Bought a Groupon and took my 2 year old son and 8 year old niece. It was a lot of fun. Plenty of things to do for all ages. Nice and clean and very big. Def need a few hours to explore through the whole place. They even have a carousel and parents ride for free which is good. I paid $78.50 for admission for 4 including parking and 4 carousel vouchers which was definitely worth it. Would definitely visit again. They also have food but opted to have lunch out.
Pao
So so fun for toddlers and preschoolers! Tons of different areas -- water play, pretend play (hospital, grocery store, house, cafe, campsite, etc), construction site, space room, transportation area, Alice in Wonderland, art studio, train section, carousel... And the list goes on and on.
You can't explore the whole place in one day, not even two.
My kids are 2 and 4, and both love it there and ask to go on a weekly basis.
The cover is expensive, and food there is pricey too (which is typical for these kind of places), but the membership gives you free parking and entrance so it is well worth it for my family.
The staff seems to truly enjoy working there. They play alongside the kids and are friendly and engaging. I have nothing negative to say about PTM. You won't regret coming here!
Darin Gilchrist
Great for the kids, good value, a lot of stuff always broken though. Not exactly a museum, more of a great indoor playground.
Scott Persinger
A fantastic hands on children's experience. You can work in a brickyard ,drive a bus, or live out your Alice in Wonderland fantasy. There's so much to do. Awesome play time. We will become season pass holders. A beautiful merry go round rounds out your day. 3$ a ride or 5$ unlimited adults ride free with child.
Ed Mattingly
Went on the weekend later in the day and it was not as packed as I expected. More suitable to 3+ years old but our 1.5yo had a great time running around in the large space. Creative displays. Little expensive for admission but worth the price overall.
Matthew Storms
We always love coming to the please touch museum. The only reason it isn't five stars is because the last time we went it seemed a lot of the attractions were broken or had broken aspects to them.
Michael Stackpoole
Nice place overall. Our 5 year old's had come before around 3 years old and loved the play markets and stores. This time they liked the other exhibits more. We found more then a few exhibits which didn't work or didn't work right. The traffic helicopter camera didn't pan only tilt. The water display didn't seem to have enough current in some of the spots. One of the diggers was down for repair. However the kids just seemed to move to the next thing. They did a neat thinking demo thing in the center at one point with a sorta wood block set which was cool and the staff was very nice and helpful. Also rode the merry go round a few times with the membership stamp. Parking on the lot was 12.00 dollars but you could park on the street as well. We didn't as it was bitterly cold. We did the whole museum in about 2-3 hours. If you can keep the kids at one exhibit to do all the items before they "run" to the next one that might be good to spend more time. Bring water and hand sanitizer I think no matter how much they clean things the next kid who touches it has germs. Again overall a nice fun place to spend a cold winter day or 1/2 day.
meenal salia
Great fun for kids under 6. Good and friendly staff. Kids can easily spend 5 hours there. Cafe has enough choices for food like pizza, mac n cheese, fruits, salad, wrap etc.
Paul Ochs
Loved it! All the displays are perfect for 2-8 year olds. The River was a favorite along with the rocket ship blast. The race cars and garage also big hit for our 4 year old boy. Fun time for parents and kids.
Jessica Miller
Kids love it. They upgraded stuff. I've been visiting please touch museum sinve I was 7years old. Now my children so about 20+ years of my life. Always a great time
Wayne John
A mini everyday world for kids to explore!
Kids (and adults) get to touch everything! This museum is a miniature world where kids can experience and pretend being a doctor, construction worker, bus driver, shopping in a supermarket, selling shoes, repairing cars and so much more! The exhibits are simply play places that kids can interact with. There's one where you can place a doll in an MRI machine that lights up and mimics scanning the doll. Another exhibit is a construction site where you begin your experience by punching a time clock and helping other crew members organize bricks for the building project. Exhibits feature an actual car and a supermarket with the realest fake food ever seen to build upon the experience of everyday living! Great place to take your kids and for adults their is a bonus of exploring the outskirts of the museum for displays of nostalgic toys!
Wilson Velez Velez
It's a nice place for kids but way too expensive. they charged me $98.00 for 2 adults and 2 kids; 2 year old and 5 year old.
Janica
Went here for my niece & nephew who were 1 and 2 at the time and we all had a blast! They have a mini village with a supermarket, where the kids can either be cashiers, grocers, or consumers; a hospital/clinic, and other things that I can't recall. It was absolutely adorable. My nephew, who loves cars, was so engrossed in the vehicles section they had. They also have a water area, a carousel, trains, Alice in Wonderland (my fave) and many more! They have a small cafeteria where we got to have snacks before going to have dinner elsewhere. All in all it was a great time had by all, adults and kids alike!
Moiz Mansoor
Amazing place for kids. Uniques experience for kids as they get to touch and experience all those things they crave to touch but are not given permission at home
RAYNA EDNEY
This place is fantastic family fun from age 1 to 12 yrs old. I love it.
Rula Alhalaiqah
I love this amazing place
It’s nice space for kids
No iPad no tv
Amazing imagination
Comfortable and clean
Nice stuff
I love the building
Everything is shiny
Bryan Aiello
My four year olds loved this museum so much they slept the whole way home. Lots of exciting things to touch. Theres a huge water table with boats, a huge play store and kitchen. Full sizes bus and car. As well as some culture in the Muslim exhibit.
They even have a carousel.
Bit exspensive. With parking two adults and two toddlers and a stamp to ride the carousel we drop 100 bucks.
Kevin McNeil
One of the best children’s museum on the East Coast. We regularly make the trip down from Brooklyn to take our kids here. Expansive, well laid out, generally in good repair and large enough to accommodate hordes of children and their parents. Historic as well with a glimpse into the first Centennial. As a parent you can’t go wrong bringing your children here. Tip: they provide a 50% discount for reciprocal memberships affiliated with ACM Reciprocal Network (eg the New York Hall of Science).
Vilma Alvarez
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! I took my 3 year old grand daughter and had a blast. What a wonderful "playground" where you not just free play, the kids learn. My grand sweetie loved the "how food is made" exhibit, complete with shopping carts, "food" and a real self-check out that dings when you swipe the food. For $5 you get unlimited carousel ride. Great indoor play space.
Im Giroir
Awesome.....my great nephew & I couldn't get enough! He's 2, & as we all know 2 year olds can't get enough of anything!!! As an adult I found this place wonderfully exciting;from the cars, to the water area, to the grocery section, to the train exhibit, to the floor art........on & on & on & on. What a wonderful museum. I had almost forgotten how much I missed doing this. My boys are now grown...but I recommend for all ages...
DON'T FORGET THE STUB FOR PARKING THEY GIVE THIS TO YOU AT THE REGISTER WHEN YOU PAY FOR ENTRANCE to the museum!!!! I NEARLY TOSSED MINE LOLOL
Day W
Cute museum for kids. Took my son for his 3rd birthday and he loved it! I think we adults enjoyed it just as much if not more than the kids did.
theodore jackson
I had a great time with my kids there. The tiny shops are fantastic. The staff is warm and engaging.
Anita Paterson
First time visiting Please Touch museum, absolutely loving it! Super clean place, friendly staff, food was great too so many choices for the kids. My son is in the Spectrum and has adhd too, he was so happy and run around free without me worrying about him getting lost. Every single corner of the place he can play and touch it plus getting some knowledge of how things work. The building inside this place is amazing too. We will be back! and highly reccomended this place for kids.
Chelsea Molnar
My husband, two young sons (2 under 2), and I came to this museum today. The exhibits were fun for our almost two year old who loves running around touching literally everything. There were some improvements that could have been made such as the loose floor tiles in the main entrance. Apparently a small child peed on the water section (I did not see it, but was told by a nearby patron), but the staff was quick to drain the water and sanitize the area. Overall it was a great time but I will probably wait until our youngest son turns 3 and our older son is 4 to truly see everything this museum has to offer.
Leiane Watts
My youngest is 7 and she loved her experience at this museum.
So much to see! Museum had a few workshops, but we did not attend any due to time constraints.
Attended on free admission day.
Overall a wonderful experience for our family.
Adam Ward
The museum is so much fun. My family had a great time. My son has autism and even with a transition meltdown had a great time. The staff was so understanding and engaging. The exhibits are perfectly designed to bring out the kid in us all.
Sonia Harvey
Can't think of anywhere better to take the kids! There is an abundance of unmetered street parking within walking distance (with a stroller and toddlers). All exhibits are impeccably clean - even the most fastidious parent would encourage his/her child to "touch" and explore. Throughout the museum, there is plenty of space to park your stroller, if need be. Exhibits really do facilitate learning - the supermarket, the shoe store, the hospital - these are all places that children most likely l encounter and the museum gives them an opportunity to understand them on their own terms. Other exhibits, like "Alice in Wonderland" are just whimsical fun (eg. white roses that turn red when a child "paints" them). Enjoyment learning for everyone ages 2 and up!
chris evans
My son loves it. It was clean and organized. They also had somebody walking around sanitizing everything witch is a very good thing since these kids are touching everything.
Jason Godshall
A great spot to explore with the little! So many fun and educational activities to discover. We especially had fun in the construction site area and the rocket launch room!
Amanda Duong
Love taking my daughter here. Can spend just about the whole day there and not be bored.
Tanya Straus (Alimova)
What a fun place for kids! My 2.5 year old loved it so much that we decided to buy a membership right away. The carousel is fun but pretty fast (can make you dizzy!) So be careful. The staff is friendly and helpful. Also, this is a huge one for me: they have hand sanitizer on almost every wall!! With thousands of little hands touching everything I am glad they have this available. This place is great for fostering creativity and exploration.
Taishah “Tai” Carroll
My toddler loved everything about this place and literally had a fallout tantrum leaving. First Wednesdays free each month.
Ken Fitzgerald
It's a fantastic place to take kids. Activities are limited for kids under 2. Given the draw for so many children, you'd better bring enough hand sanatizer to bathe in (there are plenty of sanitizer stations throughout though). Go in the middle of the week, after 1pm to avoid crowds.
David Lovely
Visited here with our 2 kids - and we all had an amazing time. The site is beautiful, the exhibits are fun and interesting, and there's a great spread of activities available. Would absolutely come back.
Andrea Blassingame
Used my Access card and you had to made a reservation before coming because of the pandemic restrictions. I felt safe. We had fun.
Manuel Gonzalez
Fantastic interactive kids museum lots of to do. Lots of room to run. Great for toddlers. Can spend a whole day here. Bit expensive. Would bring your own lunch. Really nice if you get there early.
Monica Jones
Took my 16 month old here for the first time and she had a blast thank you to the please touch museum for always making sure the kids have a great time. the young lady at the merry go round was so energetic and it showed she really enjoyed her job giving all the kiddies a birthday shout out this is for the date 2/1/20 around 12p-1p
Even my father enjoyed the ride 💕
Dalia P
My 2.5 yr old had lots of fun. Lots of things for them to do and obviously touch. We weren't around lunch time and there were lots of kids and parents. I personally was overwhelmed by the crowds and noises. Lots of kids having meltdowns. But overall good experience. The cafe has pizza and hot dogs. They had sandwiches to go and parfaits and yogurts if that's your thing. No French fries. Lots of space to sit and eat at inside or outside.
Ruth Briggs
I recently took my two year old granddaughter to the Please Touch Museum for a rainy afternoon and I had as much fun as my granddaughter in the grocery store and Alice in Wonderland exhibits. The Alice exhibit was my favorite because it is one of my favorite children's books, but the grocery store was so much fun for my little Una who loved shopping, prepping food, ringing up groceries on the scanner, and learning about nutrition. IT'S PERFECT FOR CHILDREN OF ALL AGES AND A GOOD RAINY DAY ACTIVITY.
SHIVANG CHOKSHI
No better place for kids !!!!
Philadelphia is really upping it's kids quotient.. one day at the zoo and one day at this place is a sure shot on ur Philly itinerary.. zoo taking u close to reality and this place - a perfect destination for made up places like water area, grocery store, garage, hospital, bus and train, ice cream parlour etc for pretend play !
Best of all the Alice in Wonderland..
Super...
you stever
this was my childhood when i went on a field trip also loving the supermarket and now as an adult, it's been passed on to the little walking, screaming, big eyed accidents or... children. pretty crowded but next time i would go when the people go to work. (money money am i right ;))
all and all i enjoy my time and the hotdog even though i witnessed parents have coffee while their wild mongoose is stomping and this tall weird dude running and hoping all over the maze
Laura Todd
My almost 2 year old had the best time. My only disappointment is that we haven't been going for the past 6 months. It's much bigger than I expected. My son loved the Septa bus the most.
Joe
‘Touch’ museum is more like a magical place, where you can explore science, history and fairytale, kids btw 3-10, maybe parents will appreciate this playground.
Hint, Philadelphia city pass will get you three passes to sites including this one, aquarium and many others. Well worth it.
Stephanie Cruz
My kids had so much fun! This was their 3rd time here and they always enjoy themselves. We were got here at 10 and left at 3. They really enjoyed the guy telling the stories (he's so nice!)
Amber Ealy
So much fun!! Finally letting your kids be able to touch and explore things they normally can't!
Pruma Cherukuri
Absolutely love this place. It's great for kids to explore and play around in. Has enough nooks and crannies to keep even the older ones engaged (I'd say till age 8 or so). We became members after the second visit. They have a dedicated Alice in wonderland section that is very well thought out
They have paid parking, but the street parking is free and easy to find around the place
Well worth the almost hr long drive we make to go there. Can't recommend highly enough
Cole Kaye
I absolutely loved this place. The design is done so well, and leaves so much room for families to explore without being on top of each other. They have so many exhibits that both children and adults can enjoy.

This is an amazing place for kids to play. My daughter watches a Blippi and sees him play in centers like this but since we don't have any where we live, this was her first time at a place like this and she loved it. The tickets (mid 2018) were $19 each so we ended up getting their lowest membership tier at $160 which includes admission for 4 people and discounts on the carousel ($1 instead of $3). Their membership also included parking ($12) but there was plenty of parking in front of the center. You can add a second person as a pass holder so I added my brother which should allow him to access the center with his family, just something to consider if this place is not to far from you and you can split the pass with another family.
In terms of activities for the kids, they included a drawing room and had a hands on music class. They had play areas to learn the physics of water (they had mills and channels for mini boats), a mini city, a mini grocery store, an Alice in wonderland maze and of course, the carousel. Best of all, they had benches everywhere where we could rest while we watched our daughter play.
Angie Cruz
Went with my 1 yr old son and 2 yr old nephew..my nephewand they absolutley loved it. They ran around so much that they knocked out as soon as they got into the card. 2 dolar admision with your EBT or Access card. Amazing place to take kids. 3 dollar carousel ride for each kids and 5 dollars for unlimited carousel rides per kid. Right now Sid the Science kid exhibit is on now until May 6th
Mike Vanim
Wonderful experience for kids. Some of the exhibits are a little rundown and don't work the way they were intended. Still a great interactive place for kids to explore.
Paul Martin
It must have been amazing when it was new.
It is still lots of fun. The children are already asking to go back.
Sadly many things are broken.
Make sure not to miss the rocket room if you have older kids. The air powered rockets fire across the room.
Robert Berman
Lots of fun people are great enjoyed as long as you can you want a bunch of times my son loved it went there when he was 2 and now he is 5 add at least 3 times a year
Martinique Bruce
Lots of rooms for my toddler to roam. Plenty for little explorers to get into and friendly Staff.
M Theresa Brown
Pretty amazing place. We went Dec 31 for their noon New Year gala for kids. A live band from the upcoming Mummers Parade performed and tons of confetti shot into the air delighted the kids. Take all that away and you have an exemplary example of the perfect hands on museum for active participation. The setting is stunning. Join and support this place!
John Haslam
Lots of fun for the kids. We have spent hours here and the boys really enjoy it. They have a water feature to for kids that enjoy splashing and stuff.
Anand Krishnan
Been a while since our last visit a couple of years ago, but largely the exhibits have been the same with a few changes here and there ... Nevertheless it was time we'll spent the kids were difficult to handle with all the distractions :) but it was a pleasant day spent indoors especially with the heat advisory outside. They do have paid parking, however there is a lot of on the road parking space available right outside the museum.

The museum grounds are immaculate. The lot the museum is located on is very spacious. The museum is 2 floors of activities for children of all ages. When you walk into the museum you see a gigantic replica of the torch of The Statue of Liberty made out of different objects. There are activities on each floor that are geared toward certain topics ie. one of the mazes is Alice in Wonderland. There is a small food court where you can purchase food and different kinds of organic drinks. It was very clean and sanitary. There is a parking lot that is for paying visitors but there is parking located on the street. There is a discount for purchasing tickets online as opposed to buying them at the door. Such a great place to spend the day. Definitely recommend.
Russell Little
This museum invite you to play touch and focus on a day of fun, this place is humongous with surprises around every corner . This is a great to take the family for the day, An indoor carousel, plenty of room to run
Stephanie Blanco
This is an indoor playground for toddlers and other young children. The title creates different expectations for unsuspecting chaperone-relatives and educators. That being said, this is the place for kids to be super active as they run from station to station exploring their new surroundings. My advice: keep a close watch on them because they can go missing very easily (my nephew was so excited that he went to another area in the blink of an eye, but thankfully I found him within minutes); bring water to keep everybody hydrated (you'll be getting a work out chasing the little ones); bring lunch to avoid high prices at the store; use playtime as teaching moments when the kids don't want to share or they get aggressive.
mohammad sabir aqueel
It is a really good museum where children can learn a lot of things such as changing the tires in the car and Filling gas in a dummy car, a minaiture car wash. Bus, tram. In the lower level there is a train musuem as well as Alice in wonderland exhibit. There is also depection of rhymes in the form of art and model. There is a carousel which is 3 $ for one trip and 5 $ for unlimited rides. There is a model dump truck as well. Children also have a tree house and a small water play area. There is a minature super market with little shoppong carts where kids can shop the groceries and check out at the register
David Barnes
My kids had a great time and so did me and my wife. Would highly recommend any family with kids to come.
Leila Maloney
Wonderful museum for kids! My daughter loved it, and we had hours of fun. The building is stunning, it has a lovely history, and great historical exhibit.
Stephanie Duvert
I love this place surprised my 6 year old a the time had much to do there. Kept him busy for hours, the staff was friendly and lots of kids for him to play with. The place was clean as usual with a lot if staff maintaining it. Loved how you can bring your own food and snacks especially since my family and I are vegan. We go every year and I will continue tradition with my 6 month old also. Also my son loved the bus and car section since there was actual size or close to it.
Denisse Haider
Excellent place for kids of all ages. Only downfall is that it's a bit pricy for families with several children, wish they gave some sort of discount through the library like they do in Boston for locals. Children 1+ of age pay the same price as an adult $20 🤔. Overall street parking is free, carousal is $3 extra per child, they have a cafe, gift shop as you walk in and it closes at 5pm. Also the local ice cream truck was hanging outside the doors at 5pm Friday night when we left. Great experience for out of town guest.
Nikki Sieracki
Great atmosphere! Super fun exibits for the kids! Clean! Friendly staff, and loved that they have a discount for Access card holders!! Was only $2.00 for up to 4 ppl! All around it was a great day!
Jason Fore
Great, family friendly. There is some great history to be learned here and fun at the same time. There are some exhibits that are in need of some minor tlc. I would recommend packing a lunch and save some money the cafeteria not really worth it. Overall a great experience.
C. Beck Mayberry
I'm grateful for the blue star program and for this great place for little ones to explore!
Derrick Kreider
Beautiful building, engaging exhibits for all ages (even though it is meant for young children), just an excellent visit. We really enjoyed the Seasons play in the playhouse. Employees were friendly. Look forward to making a return visit!
Kimberly Bowen
I took my daughter here over the weekend and she throughly enjoyed herself. We got there at 1:30 stayed until closing 5pm. I wheeled her out sleeping. It’s top 5 for children!
Yonimy World
Went on a weekday around 3pm .It was relatively empty but lots of activities for the kiddies.
Kwong Man Lee
My 4 and 7 year old kids love this place. This is definitely rank high among all the Children museums that I've visited with my kids. The supermarket level is the highlight for the kids.
Arpit Kumar
At $19 each plus the $12 parking expected lot more than what it had. carousel requires another $5 for unlimited rides.
If you have kids above 5, go only one time, else you can bring them multiple times. More for kids age 1-4. Post that it is just one time activity.
Mary Mulbah
Perfect for a hot or rainy day. Good for kids under 8. Mine were 7,5,3,&1 and all were engaged throughout.
Need reservations during COVID. (Up to 3hrs)
$19 a ticket but worth it if it’s your only outing and you take your time.
Free Carousel- don’t miss it!
My only complaint: The Alice in Wonderland exhibit downstairs is just a maze. Too hard to keep track of little ones. I’d prefer if the exhibits were more separate (different rooms) and were more visible. Too many blind spots. And kids run from one to the next.
We loved the new Mo Willems exhibit which is easy to pass by. Don’t miss it.
Reception doesn’t explain anything so be sure to keep your eyes open and look at EVERYTHING. It is a lot. You could spend the entire day there.
DEEPAL PATEL
Amazing place for kids to play... It gives large Avenue of pretend play to kids along with clearing the concept of day to day activities like hospital, super market, bus station nd so on... It also has kids favourite characters like Thomas , Alice in Wonderland portrayed in big manner that kids like that story themselves.. Food in cafetaria is also good.. My kid loved the place.. can spent one whole day here . All in all must visit place if looking for kids entertainment..
P A
What a wonderful place! My kids had awesome time and it was hard for them to come out.. 😂 !
D. Ramirez
Our munchkin had a blast. Absolutely recommend for any and all children. Definitely worth a visit. Spend a few hours, your kids will be drained afterwards.
Anna Alimkina
The best museum for kids that i have ever seen! Such a great selection of different tous and activities, my toddler was in awe! Highly recommend 👍🏼 …
Ben Shumate
Our 1-year old loved this place. Lots of different areas to play in.
Sarah Brazell
My son really enjoys it here! There are lots of exhibits and things to do. A great way to spend the morning, even if it is a bit of a drive for us. My only complaint is that while there are many, many exhibits, there isn't as much detail as other children's museums put into them. I'm sure it's a lot of work and upkeep though.
James Chen
Good place to take kids too. However anyone who's older than one cost $19 to get in. It's too expensive in my opinion. Also it could get very crowded.
Timothy S Clippinger
Great place to bring or children or Grandchildren. Take ticket to park, you will pay inside along with your admission. If you thing your returning but a membership, it pays for itself, after two visits. Our Grandkids lived it, we spent several hours there, including lunch. Good variety, Pizza, Mac and cheese, salads, plenty to choose from. Go in the morning or during the week, after lunch or start to really pack in the young adventurous ones. As a grandparent I thot it was funny watching the young parents trying to keep up with their children and managing strollers. And in the make believe grocery store, children get to shop, cash out, and park their carts. Well we all know children or their toys away right??? a younger employee was walking around instructing the 50 plus children and parents, "please remember to put away all your toys so that other can find their items while shopping". True but he obviously he did not have any children yet, not quite that easy. Take the time to chat the children's theater show, all the children loved it, single actor and she did get with every piece and told a get story. Honestly, a great place especially on a rainy or super hot day. Grandparent approved.
manomi das
We had a great as family after moving to Philly. Loved it and our son had so much fun that we struggled to get him back to home..😓😜 …
Rachel Camacho
My kids love it here. Clean, friendly, so much to do and theres always something new. We love it
Jeni Evans
An incredible adventure for children of all ages. Hands on exhibits let you have fun, playing and learning.
RES24CUE
The kids had a lot of fun. There are plenty of activities to bring out a child's imagination here.
Victoria Trower
My little brother and son had so much fun! Wish there was a bit more but they really enjoyed the Alice and Wonderland, hospital, shoos, and water area.
Julie
Nice building with areas to eat outside and inside. Food selection limited but healthy options available and food was good. Space can be limited. They have a fake shop rite for your kids to play grocery store, ER, train station, water play, wizard of oz theme areas as well. Inside carousel. Can be quite hectic. Cost adds up. Parking available for a fee. Come early to get a spot. Becomes busy very fast.
Roni Whitton
I absolutely love this place. My one year old is obsessed. We got the cheapest membership we could and it covers for admission every single time we go so we've used it very many time so far. Every time somebody says " let's do a play date" I'm like " come on let's go to the please touch!"
Jonathan Cooper
1 part chaos + 1 part adventure + 1 part FUN!
Your kids will love it. Plenty of room, plenty to see, plenty of space if they (or you) need a break.
This is the most hands-on day at the museum your kids will get. (thus the name!)
Take the time and go through 2X. Have them pick out their favorites or ask them where "Alice" or the "Statue of Liberty" was and make them navigate ... it's so much fun!
Justin Adams
Kids love this place. Has so much to do, see, and play with. Staff was super friendly and engaged and knowledgeable. There is an exhibit that changes, keeps it different each time we go. Seen signs for what was coming next and already booking our trip. Fees were very fair. By online if visiting during week to save more.
Brandon Coates
Great place for kids, lots ulof running around for them and toys, cafeteria added on lower section for kids play.
Renato Urresta
It was really fun. Kids loved it. Try to get in early because it can get a bit crowded later in the day
Christopher Dantonio, Phillydroneshots on IG
Amazing! Very rare to find a museum that will actually let you touch things within its walls. Gorgeous, historic building overlooking Philly from up on the Belmont Plateau. A must see while in Philadelphia!
lindsay jenkins
Parking was a breeze and handicap accessible, this Philadelphia museum is a magical place for children to explore. I enjoyed the many levels in this historic building; each stairway or ramp guiding excited kids into their new adventure. From the Alice in wonderland tea party to the refurbished carousel we were constantly moving around, learning and entertained. We especially enjoyed the supermarket with shopping carts , and a checkout line!
One fun event to consider: The museum has a New Years Eve ball drop at noon for the younger ones to help bring in the New Year.
Tiffany C
Very nice museum for the kids to play. Plenty of choices to keep the imagination of children going. Nice gift shop, decent prices. The carousel was a plus. Also nice clean meal area.
Brad Allen
Not a lot of places you can take a 16 month old toddler besides the park. This place fit the bill. Our daughter had an amazing time running around the place engaging with cars, trucks, all kinds of things that were her size. It is a beautiful re-imagining of a cool historical building. So fun!
Ashok Linganna
Amazing place for small children. Like a GIANT indoor playground! Such a great place to spent time indoors.
terry fronk
2 floors of things to for the kids. All areas were interactive for children and everything is hands-on. Our boys had fun in the numerous different sections of the museum. They do have small cafeteria and also a carousel with a separate charge. Definitely worth the visit any kid will have a great time here.
Rev. Michael Robinson, M.S.
I recently attended a press conference by U.S. Senator Bob Casey at the Please Touch Museum, that visit gave me an opportunity to see the great upgrades made. A highly interactive fun experience for primary age kids.
Ethan Paraboschi
Museum was great, the little one had such a blast walking around and playing in all the little stations. I would recommend getting there and doing the carousel and getting the “unlimited” ride pass.
HOWEVER, customer service was horrible, I’ve been trying to get in touch with anyone there and can’t reach anyone, I’ve called more than a dozen times, on multiple different days, and have sent at least 5 emails and have yet to get a response, so definitely a fun time for the kid but just make sure you don’t leave anything behind because you won’t be able to reach anyone there for help.
LeeLee8686
I think it would be more beneficial for an operator to speak to customers versus always being referred to an email....no one ever answers the phone, that's my only complaint..
Jason Corelli
Such a great children's museum. Plenty to do. Definitely worth a trip.
Phung Kha
Currently on our second membership! This museum is our home away from home. The exhibits are so educational and is always changing. Can't ask for anything better for my 4yo. I have an infant too and cannot wait for her to experience this museum when she gets older!
Tyler Azzaro
This place is great. There's not many places to take a two year old to play in the winter. He loved this place. Would be 5 stars but it's a bit pricey. For 2 adults, 1 kid, parking, food, gas and tolls this was a $150 (2) hour play time. Plus, I was parked so far away that the free street parking would have been closer. Regardless, still a great place.
Ralph DeSantis
Great place full of activities for small children. Some on-street parking nearby or use the secured lot on site for a fee.
Amanda Velez
I don't have enough good things to say! The kids love it, and honestly, even I love going. I loved it when I was young, and now I get to experience it all over again through my kid's eyes, and it's great. The fact that they have their own parking lot is also great. Our membership is getting extensive use!!
Jonathan ODwyer
I grew up going here (well the old location). I remember the wonder of being in a place where I could just be a kid and touch anything. Recently, I had the pleasure of taking my kids and watching them experience it all over again.
Food court is good and reasonably priced. Faucilities were clean and in great shape. Staff was happy and helpful. Annual rates are reasonable too!
John Orcutt
$19 a person, regardless of their age. Big, with plenty to entertain the kids. There is on street parking which is plentiful early in the day, and will save you some additional money rather than parking in their lot.
It isn't the best children's museum out there. But, if you're in the area on a rainy day, it can help pass some time.
James Parker
What an awesome place to bring young children for a fun and educational experience!
Jisselle Moreland
Cool place to visit in Philly..so much fun for a kid!
Whitney Burton
Amazing!!!! Best money spent if you have a young child. So many diffrent things for them to do!!!! We loved the building area, bus, and water station!!!!! He slept the whole way home to Baltimore!
Sarah Anne Robb
Great interactive experiences for younger kids 😃 …
Charles Kizis
OMG this was such a delight! I was just so amazed how great this was! There were so many things for the children to do and so much for the adults to look at it really was great for the entire family. They had this really cute little shopping Supermarket set up where they have little carts and they would run around put the stuff in their carts or baskets and go shopping for groceries like Mom and Dad! We even had a child designated as the checker outer LOL however he charged us $500 for some bread and vegetables! Talk about capitalism everywhere huh! The only thing was there was barely any shopping carts it seemed, like I counted the ones I saw and it was like four or five. But there's 20 kids running around at any given moment.
Overall it was a great experience and we had a blast. I would recommend this to anybody. It was a great great experience!
Kay Clark
The kindergarteners had a great time exploring and touching everything. 😆 …
Jennifer Miller
This museum was the highlight of our trip to Philly, and has been one of the best experiences and places I have taken my family! My kids liked several activities so much that we could have played all day at just a few things instead of moving on to the next one. Highly entertaining place- we had a blast! Everything was clean. Staff were very kind and helpful.
Phillip Henderson
Good place to take young children. They can interact with all of the exhibits. They display old toys that adults played with as kids. The rocket exhibit was my daughter's favorite. She and her classmates went here for a trip. All the parents teachers and children had a great experience. I plan to return again with my whole family.
Pete Rhein
Built for kids about 4 years old, or any kid about that tall. And if ya bring your preschoolers or kindergarten kids they'll be very entertained!
Would have been 5 stars but the food sold there was subpar and too expensive
Alexandra Atkins
So many engaging activities and exhibits for littles. It's hard to leave.
Jessie Jordan
We love the Please Touch Museum! Always a highly requested activity by my Littles + a great place to meet other Littles.
Aaliyha Justiniano
My son enjoyed himself as well as my step son. There was lots of room for the kids to enjoy every single room. The only thing I didn’t like they charged way too much. It literally $22 for everyone even for 3 year old That’s literally insane.
Faith Spain
Everyone was welcoming and nice, my daughters had a great time and so did I
Riz Zambrano
Pretty cool place to take your kids. It was numerous things that your child could interact with and learn.
Jenny Fisc
Just went back there for the first time in atleast a year. A lot of the exhibits were as I remembered. But the lower level had a lot of changes that were great additions. Our favorites were the grocery store and the train room. There are a few things that were closed that were a little dissapointing...no gift shop and no theater. Kids were to busy to notice. I was dissapointed 😆.
Stephen LaGuardia
Absolutely amazing children's museum. One of the largest we've visited. 3 separate areas specifically for toddlers. Large play City for imaginative play. Alice in wonderland and water table area our personal favorite. Indoor carousel a bonus.
Raising 3 in Philly
Very nice people or staff, clean place, alot of stuff for kids under 7. Plenty of parking.
Useful? Check ✔️ me out on YouTube..."Raising 3 In Philly" Subscribe....aspiring youtuber.
Danielle Curley
We love taking the kids here. They always have a great time. There's a fun, new Mr. Potato Head area open until January 2017.
Scott Brewer
Great place, kids enjoyed it really well.
Was expecting a bit more from such a place, but it was good enough. Definitely worth it to come with toddlers.
john collins
Took my 2 y..o. grandson fir the 1st time today! He was every where! Do much to do! It was incredible! Highly recommended!
Derek Devore
Absolutely amazing. One of the best museums ever. Spent multiple hours and our toddler had soooo much fun. Also he crashed for a really long nap after so overall it's a lot of fun and will tire them out!!! A must go if you are in Philly!
Krati Agrawal
Great place for 2 year olds. Kids go crazy in supermarket section. Lots to do here. Let the kids find their way. You can easily spend whole day here. They have music time as well. I also saw 4-5 year olds enjoying themselves. Their is a carousel also for kids. Separate ticket to enjoy carousel.
Charles Sclafani
My son had a blast. He especially loved the water play exhibit and the supermarket exhibit
Christopher Beaudoin
Fun place for the younger kids to enjoy. Lots to look at a play with in this beautiful building. Easy parking.
Larry Nannery
Absolutely wonderful museum for little kids. Would say 18 months to age 5 is best age range unless they have a specific activity targeted to older.
You can do all of the activities in 60 to 90 minutes unless your child gets lost in one specific room for a long amount of time
The carousel is large and lovely, feels very traditional
Pre kindergarten program looks amazing, no personal experience
Richard Jenkins
Many things at the Please Touch Museum don't work, or broken. My grandson had a lot of fun though!
Kim Payne
My nephew loved it .need more eating tables for guest.
Aaron Wesel
It's very nice place we spent at least 3 hours there. It's mostly geared towards younger kids my 10-year-old was a bit bored
Karem Espinosa
I believe getting their membership has been the best investment ever 🤪! We've been here several times, and every time is different, but always great to burn that energy. My toddler always has a blast here.
Bring your own snacks, the options at the caffee are not my favorite.
Jasmin G
A great place for kids. I took my son when he was only 1, and he was able to have fun and touch everything, hence the name. I can't wait to take him back now that he's older!
Hitesh Thakur
Great museum, lot of activities to
Keep kids engaged. My little one loved it and want to visit again. Parking is not free, should be made free for members visiting the museum.
Drew Christ
My wife and I took our 1.5 year old son, and while it was mostly fun, I feel like we overpaid.
It is 19$ per person, no matter the age. I really would have been happy paying 20$ for myself if my son had been $10. Or vice versa.
A 1.5 year old can not enjoy the exhibits to the same degree as a five year old. I'd say the best age range is 3 to 7 for all the exhibits. My son can walk, but he was not tall enough to reach about half of the toys ( he is 2.5 feet/ 0.75 meter).
We got the Groupon and saved a few dollars, but it really only helps if you are driving (essentially free parking). Also, the Groupon only sells tickets in increments of 2 or 4 people - why not 2 and 3, so families can buy multiples and buy what they need? We got no good answer from a manager, nor a discount for our second adult.
Get the Groupon if you're driving and have four people, it gets you free parking. If you've got kids 3 and up, go for sure, they'll have a blast. Bring hand sanitizer, lunch, and don't expect a lot of personal space. Leave the stroller at home too, there's not really room for them past the foyer.
Lior Friedman
Bring the kids!!! Really great place. Kids friendly, touch/ climb/ run... Our kids are ages 3-12 and all had a great time here. Restrooms are clean, staff friendly and we were here 5 hours. Parking is an additional $10.
Steve C
Great fun for kids of all ages... including mommies and daddies. Our son is only ten months old, but there's plenty for him to do. He loves Nature's Pond... as you can see in the photo.
Alicia Tate
Great time, especially if there are no school trips. Staff is friendly and always tidying up. Changing themes makes it a great time and love going back to see what is going on.
Nan Moschella
Went there with our 14 month old granddaughter and her parents. She loved it; wish something like this had been available when our kids were small (we lived in central PA). Was delighted with the variety of activities and the strong engagement of the staff. Everything is wonderful: the carousel, the water play, the grocery store, Alice in Wonderland. Most highly recommended.
Aye Armenta
Perfect place to go with your kids, it can take the whole day to go and it worth it.
Kirthi Love USA
Wonderful 😊 …
Kelly C
There was so much for my 20 month old to do. We were there for an hour and a half and it was enough to tire him out.
Keishan Rowe - The Legacy Lady
Took my 2 year son there and he absolutely loved it. It was very interactive and all the kids there seemed to enjoy there time. We drove from NY and it was worth the drive. They did arts and crafts as well which was nice because my little one loves to paint.
Nichole Reyes
The whole family had a great time! We have an one year old and he had a blast. There was so much to touch, see and do. I loved that there were a few three yo and under play areas so I could let him roam a little more free.
Harold T.
Awesome place for kids. Took my 5 year old there and he absolutely had a blast.
Pablo Torres
My daughter had tons of fine here. Street parking was easy to find too.
Jon Landes
Good place for jids to come and just have fun. Not to big like a regular museum but big enough for kids to do what they do.
Alexis Jensen
Our 3yo loved it! We expected to spend about 3 hours and ended up staying the whole day. The supermarket center was a huge hit. The only critique was the food from the Cafe. It was okay, but I would have preferred a few options geared towards adults
Niyati Vasani
Love this place. My 3 year old throughly enjoyed it. We fell short of time. 1 day just wasnt enough. Definitely must visit.
Leontine Paulos
Great place for small kids to have fun. Walk around touch, learn, experience and play!!
Lindsay Rogan
At first we thought our 6 y/o may be too big for the place but 5 hours later they had to kick us out of the place at closing. Don’t pay for the parking lot bc there seemed to be lots of parking available on the street.
Styled Phoenix (Lisa Eckert)
We have a year membership because it is always so much fun. The craft room is my new favorite.
nothing fire
Our children loved it. The maker room was great and staff are very kind. Not as big as I was expecting, but still very fun. Food was even more overpriced than what I was expecting, but it was nice that they had the exact "healthy" option my 4yo is used to. We spent about 4 hours there and he wanted to stay longer.
Mahalia Sealy
It's a hands on place for the little ones to run around and burn energy. Lots to do to stay active. There's a cafeteria section with snacks and refreshments. The food isn't good at all, but it's doable if you're hungry
Aleem Chabilal - Khan
Totally amazing and the pricing is great your kids will love it
Ariel Shimoni
Fun times, but for the little kids. Our 7 year old got bored pretty quick.
Alex E
It's giant, so much to do, and really just everything you could want in a children's museum. Also very clean.
Jason Boustead
Awesome place to take young children. We went on the 1st Wednesday of the month and it was only $2 per person. We'll definitely come back again!
Jamie Ostrom
I have always loved please touch but as of today I love it even more! Since the pandemic it's hard to take my son out because he has sensory sensitivities and will not wear a mask. I wasn't sure how that would play out but they were so accommodating and kind! All he had to do was wear a sticker that let the other workers know he is maskless. They have really stepped up their game in keeping things clean. We are so happy to be back!
Nora Antunez
Amazing if you have L.O is a must. Watter section, lots for the kids to explore and touch
Kathleen Catherine
Great staff, everyone is so kind and friendly!! My children loved their time here, from open until close. The cafe food was hot and fresh, the lemonade was delicious, they even had some gluten free options (mostly snacks) great place to spend a day with children
Michael DeCarlo
Wonderful place to bring your grandchildren, like we did. So many hands on interactive programs. Didn't want to take pictures, because children shouldn't be exposed online. Trust us come for a fun and educational experience! Clean building and friendly attentive staff.
Brenda Noel
We visited today for the first time and had we all had an absolutely great time! The beautiful building is a perfect location. My four year old had the best birthday ever exploring this museum. Even the adults had fun! Very friendly employees as well! Keep up the good work!
Peggy Flynn
We bought season passes to this museum bc our children loved it so much!
Caitlin Cofiell
This place is awesome! We spent all day there and my girls even went back to some areas multiple times! The staff was also so friendly and helpful too!
J. T.
Love this place. Perfect place to take the kids to let them learn and expel all that energy
Sherif Mohsen
Very interesting place for kids , I highly recommend it.
Derrick Jason
Great experience. Staff is awesome and friendly. Plenty of things to do with your kids. You can't just go once.
Great for all ages.
Martin P
Having been to a lot of children museum in the us, this one is on par with the one in San Diego as number one. However it is very crowded
Michael Kaloudis
Great to have a membership for our little 4 year old. Thomas The Train exhibit was great!
veronica dillane
Great place for kids.Fasnating job they have done with props and structures. Our kids didn't want to leave!
Peter
Great place for the kids to interact. You can literally spend an entire day here. Food is only ok.
Errica Diaz
Love this place. It’s fun for kids and they sell only healthy snacks at the food court.
My one wish is that they add some additional sections - seems like the World’s Fair exhibit is too large and the bank section could be more fun.
A new food store is being built downstairs. My kids love the rocket room, and I love the transportation room and the Alice maze.
Savannah
We went to the museum using our Active Duty military passes and it was the highlight to our first day in Philadelphia. They are featuring an Alice in Wonderland exhibit and have a Doc McStuffins World on exhibit as well. I want to play with their giant water table/river, but we could not drag our toddler away from playing make believe and curing the sick animals and taking care of new born babies in the Doc McStuffins exhibit. After all it's a museum for her, right... We spent so much time playing upstairs that we didn't even explore the second level.
The cafe is reasonably priced and has good stadium-style pretzels and stone oven pizza drowning in cheese. I definetly recommend the museum as a great way to beat the heat and get the wiggles out. There is also a public pool and splash pad on the museum grounds so consider packing appropriately if you have to
He energy to make another stop.
J s
I like the sensor friendly visit. Incredibly conscientious staff. Thank you for the support!
pverespy
This place was well worth the admission. So much to do and so many different things all over. Love the various areas and how everything is spaced out. There's some really cool history stuff about the location itself if you have a chance to look around at some of the plaques and all. Looking forward to going back again.
Yitzi Feldman
My kids could have spent the entire day here! There is so much to see and do. Highlights included the pretend store and the large water play area.
David I
Highly recommend for smaller children. The $5 unlimited carousel rides was amazing. My almost 2 year old daughter went on 7 times in a row and immediately fell asleep in the car. Only thing is the water table should be a little lower for smaller kids or have step stools available.
romel rambajan
Very family oriented and so much fun activities for the kids
BeatsByTheKilo DotCom
Great place to take the kids once I realize you just wasted a year getting other people paid! 😂 Relieve your stress ANYWAY you can, as long as it's healthy.
Katherine Gallo
I've had a membership for over a yr and I really enjoy bringing my children here.
Chris Holland
Great way to spend the day with the kids.
Danielle Pierre
It was my first time there so many different things that the kids can do it was nice. My 2 kids and my nieces and nephew had a great time. 👍👍 …

Incredible place to bring the kids, I'd say max age for children here is between 6-8. Plenty for them to do, including infants and toddlers.

I went on a Sunday, and goodness there was so much people! I went again on a weekday, and it's definitely the better option. Staff is nice, and even though Sunday was packed everything seemed pretty much clean. Oh, and they where closing the market to sanitize it for the kids. Only thing I had a complaint was the eating area, there was a few staff there, but it wasn't clean. (Please clean after yourself when you visit) There where a few empty tables, and the all had crumps and food wrappers on them. Some where very sticky. I grabbed a bunch of sanitizer, and wiped the table with a lot of napkins. Apart from that I would definitely recommend taking your smaller kids, my preteen wasn't as interested as my toddler.

Great indoor activity for younger kids. Definitely get a membership so your kids can play and explore at their own speed and there's no pressure to see it all in one trip.

Really fun place to play and learn for kids of all ages. My daughter is only 1.5years old, but she can already enjoy a ton of activities at PTM. Her favorite section is the newly opened mini supermarket. Kids all have the natural desire to mimic, and PTM provides them plenty of opportunities to experience daily activities in a safe environment and learn practical life skills.

Fantastic place for kids to play and use their imagination. A great big space and lots to do and experience. Go during the week because weekends are really packed.

Our 15 month old had a blast! She could have occupied herself for 3 hours just in the first room we visited with the baby duck river and the forest play area. The antique carousel is gorgeous and reminded us adults how much fun we used to have on those, and the Centennial Fair model in the basement is a genuine national treasure worth visiting while the kiddos play.
Rick Frei
Great for kids, but still cool for the architecture snd the old carousel. If you go without kids, they require you to leave an ID and phone number and wear and badge at all times.

This place blew us away! There was so much for the kids to do, see and touch. We will definitely return and if we lived here we would have a membership so we can come as often as we want!
Uh oh Don’t
Great museums. My child loved it. Take a full day to experience it all. They have paid parking but you can park on the street for free
Please give me a thumbs up if my review and pictures helped you!!!! Thanks
Rodolfo Nunez
Great museum for the little ones. The exhibits are very interactive and the staff is great
Vanessa Hosmer
What an awesome adventure. This place is the coolest fun, for everyone. I loved it as much as the kids did.
Dee Tran
Exciting place to take kids under 8.
Edward Weaver
Me and a friend came here on short notice. About 2 hours before closing. It was either this or the Japanese tea garden. We decided to go for this and WE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO REGRETS! The aquarium and the rainforest exhibits are definitely worth seeing. It was definitely worth the price for only walking around for only two hours, but you're gonna need a more time than that to truly enjoy the entire experience. I'll definitely be coming back here!

Amazing place to bring your children. Lots of things to do.
Kelly Wear
A blast for kids. Probably best for ages 1-5. Come early to limit crowds. Very stroller friendly. The grocery store is the highlight.
Aichata Bathily
One of my favorite place in Philly to bring your kids!
I even got a membership and my son is 3.5 and he absolutely loves this place !!
So much to do, they will never get bored
Leverner Pitt
Had a really good time with my child and the school.
Nancy Beyer
Fun for toddlers and pre-schoolers. Many exhibits, including the most recent, had broken or missing components. The price was high, and the same for adults and children ($22 each). You can bring your own food to eat in their dining area, though. You have to purchase tickets online; you can't get them there.
Mike Ammouri
Fantastic experience children loved it .and free parking can’t beat that .
Greg Broughton
First Wednesday of the month is free admission!
It was great to bring the little one after work and let her explore the exhibits for a couple hours. Grandparents loved the photos of baby’s first carousel ride.
Brittany Virts
My nephew had so much fun! This place is full of very fun things for the little ones, even things that don't seem interesting to us adults the kids love it! I definitely recommend it especially if your kid needs some sensory release!
Rutuja Yengul Apelagunta
Great place to take your young kids!
Also a great time to visit is when they have only $2 tickets on every first Wednesday of the month.
But the full priced tickets are worth the price too. 😀

I always love the Please Touch Museum. Unlimited rides on the carousel and tons of things to do for the children kept them busy and entertained since the moment we walked in until the moment we left. The staff was the best, offering so much insight and had special activities for everyone throughout the day. My children enjoyed storytime with Jess.
Gino D
Great for kids. Five and 2 year old both loved it. Spent a little over 2 hours there, lots of different options that will entertain a wide range of interests. We paid for the parking before hand online however I think there is free street parking just outside the paid parking lot.
Chris Brown
I haven’t been here in years but the park surrounding the museum is one of my favorite places to fly my drone.
Kim Lavender
A great place to bring your child to to be able to enjoy and do things with your child is a awesome thing I love the smile on my daughter face to see her have a great time at the Please Touch Museum thank you all so much
Philippe Que
My daughter had so much fun the whole time we're in.
Jeremy
Amazing place for a young family to play and learn together in an interactive environment. I would highly recommend this museum to little ones and their families. Right now they require an online reservation to enter. We brought our 2 year old here and the many activities there kept us entertained for hours. We are excited to go back with our family and friends to share this gem of Philadelphia with them.
Angie Waters
I took my 1y/o with a group of friends. We used our philly access cards and only had to pay $2 for adults! Very fun, clean and kid friendly
Michael Russick
Awesome place for kids under 10. Every exhibit is an interactive display/activity that is at kid height. Lots of space for strollers and all the running kids.
There's a small cafe to grab food and lots of rest rooms. Outside, street parking is along the main street that runs through the park or you can pay for really close parking in the museum lot.
Margaret Pyles
The kids had a great time and no one said DON'T touch anything LOL
Brendan Veney
Fun for younger children....lots of exploring for them to do
Teresa Boussom
Great place for kids and families! They have low sensory events for kids with special needs.
Victoria Shelly
My 18 month old had a great time exploring the exhibits, riding the carousel, and paying with other kids. The staff here is wonderful, and I'd love to give a shout out to Sean, a young man playing with the giant slinkies during the morning hours. My son really enjoyed exploring and playing with him.
Adi Ashkenazi
We come to phily for a weekend visit and took the kids there, very disappointing, its nice and very expensive play ground definitely not a museum!
Mike Grabowski
A great museum for kids of all ages to experience together
Tony Perez
This place is absolutely fantastic!
From the time you arrive, it is very impressive. The building on the outside is absolutely stunning, as are the gardens and surrounding features. As soon as we arrived, my two and a half year old toddler squealed with delight "I go inside castle!".
On the inside, it is just as impressive. So many things to do that you don't know what to do first. Water play with protective vests and plenty of toys, a huge area devoted to transportation such as buses, trains, cars etc, areas for art, building, and a really impressive "through the looking glass" themed area.
I would only offer two minor criticisms.
1- there are three large tables in the transportation area full of the small wooden train toys and track pieces that seemingly every child has at home. I see these all the time at children's play places, and every single time there are children hoarding the toys, trying to take them out of other kids hands, and having disagreements over them. I think every kid in the place was trying to get to them at the same time, and while it is an opportunity to talk about sharing, it felt like a distraction compared to everything else.
2- price.
I firmly believe you get what you pay for, and this place is fantastic. But it's just under $20 per person, including a two and a half year old. Along with $16 parking that is a little bit steep. Again, I'm not suggesting it be a heck of a lot cheaper, because we want the quality to remain high. But I feel like $15 for adults, 10 for children, and maybe even less for children under three would be fair. Same for parking.
All in all, this was a fantastic experience. I will definitely be bringing the kid back!
The Family homeschool time
The childrens had a lot of fun time, they love playing with the baby duck pond and Peter pan, whenever they ear him ,they get so excited about the sound he makes, they pretending to be bus driver and the Zanzibar place too ,and the most exciting part was when they sow the planets room he really amazing for them simply because my baby are little astronaut ,they know about most of the planets and how many each them have, they orbit number, the y always teaching somethings about the galaxy so that was a verry warm surprise for them, like they imaginings them in the galaxies already and that make me happy as a mother😚🤗
Ruchi's Little World
Simply amazed..well planned for kids to explore..fun!!
Tianwei Xiong
Lots of kids themed exhibits and play areas, very interactive. The scale model in the basement was very interesting, and there is a carousel that kids love. However overall a fairly small area, you'll have done everything in at most 2 hours.
shradha arya
Good activities for kids .easily can spend 2 to 3 hours
Adriana Buckner
My family and I had an amazing time! Will be bringing the kids back soon.
King Great Jace
Tons of fun for kids... They didn't wanna leave lol
Aaron Digby
More than enough things for children to do and the bathrooms are clean. I think my wife paid $109 for two adults 8-month-old, 2-year-old, 7 year old, and 10 year old.
Lisa Serronico
I was there for a wedding for my nephew it was very different the rooms for the ceremony, the cocktail hour and reception were decorated beautifully in ornate baroque, with flowers, candles and a carousel while attached to a children's touch museum
Brenda Sampson
I always love taking my grandson to the Please Touch Museum, he never wants to leave after our visits.
Mitchell Alomar
My son is 5 years old and he loves this amazing museum.
Kim Schult
Omg
Probably the best thing to do with kids in Philadelphia.
Had an amazing day
Na Jones (NA)
Everybody should take their kids there under 10yrs. My nieces loved it and didn't want to leave
Wesley Sobolesky
Geared more towards 10 and under crowd, good and fun experience
Frank Javor Jr.
It is a beautiful place to visit with our little one!

Fun for the younger kids. Older kids would like the builder and arts room. Giving the museum three stars because we have a 1.5 yr old and the spaces meant for him are usually overrun by bigger kids and their parents who ignore the sign that says if you're this tall. Every now and then for 5 minutes there's an employee turning big kids away then magically they are gone. Please keep someone at the stations so the Littles can enjoy with out being knocked over or stepped on by big kids.

My 3 year old said she never wants to leave... Win in my book. There's so much to do here could spend all day.

Excellent place for young toddlers. Everyone's wearing masks. Enough space to not feel over crowded. Very kind and professional staff. I recommend the yearly membership. It pays for itself if you go at least two times in a year
Josephine Hilliard
The staff was so friendly and helpful. They noticed it was my son's birthday and gave him a sticker.
Tamika Mann
Before we went on the trip just the word "Please Touch Museum used to give me a instant headache and i would try to avoid the trip all together if possible. When i went here this last past Thursday and was surpised to see the different activities for the children some old and expanded like the kitchen areas and some new. I see improvements but still work needs to be done for group setting that visitors. BY THE TIME WE LEFT , I WAS FEELING OKAY!
Eli “Booberry” Snowe
Absolutely amazing place to take your kids. It's one of the only baby/toddler dedicated attraction other then a zoo. We will be coming back soon!
Raza Fahim
I brought my young cousins here a few years back and they had a lot of fun. I also came here for a wedding recently, and it was a great venue!
Brooke Shellenberger
Take your kids here. My 16 year old still wants to go back from the great memories they had as a kid. Get in your car and go now.
Benjamin Harris
It says kids 3-12, really more like 3-7. 8 and 11 were both instantly bored, and only rode the carousel out of irony. No I don't care if I'm using irony correctly, you get what I mean.
Rupa Natarajan
My toddler loves this place. So much to do and explore.
Barb Morgan
Don't even know where to start with this place! So so so so much to do!!!! We had a blast!!! The themes are amazing, carousel was beautiful, my kids could be independent. If I lived here, I would come here ALOT!! BEAUTIFUL structure in and out!
Noam Sasson
We spent about 5 hours with the kids there, was so fun!
Emeline Cuadrado
Great place to let your kids imagination roam. They did remove alot of the play areas so there's not alot to do like before. But they have their art studios open around 3-4:30 and my son enjoyed it
Angela W
Even with limited reservations this place is veryyyy crowded. Go during the week, it might be better. Great venue for toddlers. Older children would be bored and probably in the way.
Kelzi M
Our off the wall, wild 2 year old had a ball. We have a "bolter" and a "runner", he rand around for 2 hours playing with everything.
You can literally touch everything. It wasn't crowded even for a weekend because of the clever flow and spacious layout. It's PRIDE month and the place was decked out in rainbows and LGBTQ2IA+ swag which made our queer family feel safe and welcomed. I recommend bringing a spare change of clothes if your kid really likes to get right into water... huge, rad water play station.
It's also very wheelchair and double stroller accessible.
There's a few very large stations only for older kids, where they can get they can get their craft on. It looked super fun.
We parked just outside the entrance to avoid the $16 parking fee.
Lauren Michelle
Alice in wonderland was amazing. Lots of kids areas
Dawn Marie Williamson
It wasn’t very busy. 2-year old had a blast.
Mandi Dervarics
This was AMAZING! We took a 7.5 year old and a 2 year old, and there was plenty to do for both of them. Super fun exhibits, safe parking, plenty of space to play, and inexpensive meal options. Thank you! E will be back!
Jay Smith
This place is excellent for young kids aged 3-7. My niece absolutely loves the place and wants to go every time she's with me. She loves the carousel and the interactive making music with instruments in the big hall with the staff. The staff is really great with the kids and they seem to enjoy the time with them. Also, get the yearly pass. It pays for itself in no time.
