My favorite place in the village. I could literally spend hours in this store and always find something I didn't see before. They have a wonderful Styx collection! Most I've seen anywhere. Look everywhere when you come in, the artists featured in this store are fantastic!

We visit Asheville once a year on vacation. This is a place that is always on our "must go to" list. They always seem to have that special thing we didn't know we needed such as terrific beer mugs. A bacon cooker for the microwave that gets a lot of use. Very helpful staff. They have things made by artists that are creative and beautiful as well as functional.

I love love loved this place. I swear it just keeps going and going forever. The bottom floor has a lot of interesting metal work and if you go up they have a huge variety of things including ceramics, glass, jewelry, and house decoration things (if you go all the way down the hall on the top floor they have some really cool painted lamp shades). Lots of the places in this area are expensive compared to what I'm used to (as they should be, someone worked hard on it) but I did find a hand made mug for $22.

This gallery is sneaky big, and I spent a couple hours looking at all the unique pieces they have for sale. They have a wide variety of art, but they also have a lot of good interior spaces that range from bedding to tables to any number of centerpieces or wall art.

Each time we visit Asheville this is a must see and we haven't left empty handed yet. Pottery, jewelery, furniture and all kinds of art. Swing into Biltmore Village and spend some time there. You won't be disappointed.

When we walked in I greeted the person behind the entrance counter with a cheery hello. No response. She then walked away. We proceeded upstairs and the art collections were well worth the time we took perusing it all. As we left this time a man behind the front counter. I said thank you, and barely was acknowledged. Art galleries should be welcoming and attentive to customers w/o being overly so. Certainly you shouldn't virtually ignore customers. Great art but not so great personal skills.

This is THE most beautiful art gallery I have ever visited! I genuinely mean that. I have been coming for years and the uniqueness and quality of the artwork never ceases to amaze me. The Gallery is huge and the Art is displayed so nicely with space to enjoy each piece. There is something for every taste. The entire staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I would not miss a stop at New Morning Gallery whenever passing through Asheville!

I ordered a glass candle from them to be sent to utah and due to shipping issues from fed ex the candle was moved around a lot. I didn’t think it would make it for Christmas !!! Shout out to Jerry Burkhart who went out of his way to contact them and kept on top of the situation. The best customer service ever …thank you so much Jerry and the gift made it before Xmas 🎄 this store cares about you …as well as wonderful products in the store. I was walking by this place and there were some cute things out front that I was taking pictures of. I went in and couldn't believe my eyes; the store is so fascinating that it is hard to explain and properly describe This is more like a super-cool art gallery than a store (tho, it IS a store with everything for sale). There were so many cute, beautiful, fascinating things to look at and buy. It is a fantastic place to buy a really unique gift for someone. Each item was more artistic than the next. I thought I was done, then noticed a stairway up. Well, up there are even more things to see. They have everything from full bedroom sets, furniture, cool desks, end tables, glasswares (the spaceman dishes were the BEST!) - everything you can imagine; I can't even name it all. And, the jewelry in the glass cases is beyond unique and gorgeous. Even if you are are not looking to buy something, I highly recommend this store. You will think you are in an amazing artists' colony. I really enjoyed browsing through this beautiful place. Oh, and the people who work there - they're super-nice!

We ended up stopping here just to get out of the incessant rain. What looked like a small shop from street level turned out to include a massive upstairs gallery full of local art. While the pieces we liked best were priced out of our budget, we really enjoyed browsing the huge collection. Definitely worth a stop.

Exceptionally well curated gallery of a wide variety of artisan made arts and crafts. This is my favorite gallery in Asheville and that's saying something. A wide variety of items, particularly pottery and jewelry, are well represented and organized by helpful and friendly staff. The price range of items is also wide, so you can find items here for a variety of budgets as well.

Lots of very interesting items. Lots of pottery, glass items, original oil paintings, furniture, Christmas decorations, jewelry. Too much to describe but easily spent a couple hours to see it all. Live music, singer and keyboard and guitar, very nice. They had warm fresh cookies too.

We live in Oklahoma but anytime we get close to Asheville we visit New Morning. It's a little hard to describe because they have so much. The Sticks line of hand crafted furniture and home decor we really love. Beautiful pottery, hand crafted wood items, handmade jewelry and so much more. Friendly helpful staff. Absolutely worth a visit. In fact worth a detour.

The staff was extremely helpful when I had a problem with a cooker, they replaced the one I ordered and did not request the cooker be sent back. I also have one and I can not believe how easy and fast it was to cook bacon and no mess as with frying bacon. I highly recommend the bacon cooker from New Morning Gallery

Asheville Lokal

The owner has single-hand-idly made the Art scene in Asheville less than it could be. He is very unpleasant to his employees, customers and artists. The Crafts and Art in New Morning Gallery are wonderful, and worth seeing. If you want to see great examples of the Craft from this area by all means visit this gallery. Now that the Southern Highland Craft Guild has moved in across the street, there are now two great reasons to visit Biltmore Village if you appreciate Crafts, and if you prefer fine art there is the Gallery in the Bohemian Hotel as well as the nice selection at Bella Vista Art gallery.
