Ethan and his team at Monumental Movers are fantastic. I just completed a move with three team members (Keith, Jose and Antonio) and they were very professional, efficient and great problem solvers when one piece of furniture initially was harder to dissemble due to stripped screw heads from when the retailer delivered and assembled years back. Ethan is always responsive and has been a life saver this year as we needed to move items at the last minute. I highly recommend them.

I've worked with Ethan and his team twice now and the experience has been 10/10 both times! Super quick, efficient, friendly and helpful guys. They made sure to wrap my mattress, couch, and other special items and not one thing was damaged during the move (which for me is huge, considering every move I've had something expensive break as a result of carelessness) But no carelessness here! The guys even helped with placing pieces of furniture for me, so I wouldn't have to struggle on my own. Ethan is also awesome, going above and beyond to fit me in during the busy summer moving season. I reached out to Students and Trucks, received a prompt response and after a few minutes had a quote along with a delivery date. The team members I worked with were friendly, thorough and very easy to work with. They communicated with me throughout the process of my furniture being picked up and brought to me. Students and Trucks were amazing from the time I submitted for a request all the way through the end of the move! Ethan was super responsive and was able to book us pretty last minute. Booking and paying was super convenient through their portal and the S&T team reached out to confirm and remind us of the move. On the day of, Andrew and Griff showed up on time and were so, so great! They moved all of our stuff from our apartment into our townhouse (with stairs!) swiftly and carefully - and were super nice guys! I used Student & Trucks for a short move (moved one block). I believe it was Alex and Andrew. They arrived on time and were super polite and easy to work with. One opportunity for improvement would be to increase efficiency in moving. For example, no dollies were used to help move multiple boxes at once. This stretched the time beyond the original estimate and so I paid much more than expected. I think I would recommend the company, but would put the caveat that the provided estimate may not be realistic. But again, very nice guys and I appreciated their help.

Monumental Movers (formerly Students and Trucks) did a fabulous job with my move. I found them through a recommendation from my real estate agent, who only recommends movers that have a proven excellent record. Ethan was very responsive and helpful and the cost of the move was very fair. Thomas, Kat and Patterson worked extremely hard and were very careful with my belongings. They were also super courteous and helpful. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend them!

Andrew and Nereel were punctual, professional, polite, and even patient when some of the furniture caused an issue. They were early as well! Also, Students And Trucks were cheaper than other moving services in the area which charged 800-1000 for what I needed! They returned my calls promptly, sent a list of charges immediately, sent reminders of the date and time, and the price quoted was the final price. Originally, I used them for removal of old furniture, but I'll be contacting them for my upcoming move as well. Excellent service and company.

Ethan is very courteous and professional. I would say, as with all moving companies, things come up and the move took longer than anticipated so I would not expect the quote to be exact. Also I would give yourself flexibility with the move time as well.

My wife and I used their services a few weeks ago ahead of our move back to NY and we could not be happier with the experience. Having to move everything quickly into the truck ahead of a long car ride to our new home, the movers came prepared, early, and ready to hit the ground running. Our bed frame had apparently broken and one of the movers—instead of simply requesting the bed frame be broken up and disposed of, which was something we were prepared to do—helped us get the bed frame in a place where it could be moved, and we could get it fixed easily. They were all friendly and effective, and made what was billed to be a very stressful day that much less stressful. I would wholeheartedly recommend them and their services to anyone.

I hired Students & Trucks LLC to clear out a former outdoor cat shelter, and the guys who helped me were Griff and David. They were pleasant to work with and did a great job, checking to make sure they had removed everything. If you use them, make sure to keep your phone handy because they give updates on arrival time -- for example, in case they finish their previous job early.

I haven't needed a mover in years so I went with a recommendation for Students and Trucks on my neighborhood list serve. Ethan was very helpful in arranging and the movers were on time, efficient, pleasant to work with and did a fine job. I needed to move some furniture locally and to clear out a fair amount of trash. Ethan arranged for two trucks--one for furniture and and one for trash--which worked out very well. The price was reasonable and the experience was excellent.

My actual moving experience was largely positive. The team of three were able to get everything moved and came in under the estimate. Unfortunately the movers missed the 9-11am arrival window and did not arrive until 12:45pm. Things happen and this would have been perfectly fine, but the company did a very poor job of communicating—preventing me from re-sequencing the rest of my day and causing me to miss some other moving related appointments I had set up. The time to answer my phone calls or, even better, proactively reach out, was as soon as they were aware of the issue, not after the time window had already passed. Additionally, a team of three movers should have 2-3 hand trucks at a minimum. This crew only came prepared with 1. At around 260 dollars an hour (plus other fixed costs) and not being properly equipped they may as well have sent fewer people. Thankfully I had 1 more cart that they could use, else I would have had to cancel and reschedule the move unless they took a trip to a hardware store and come back prepared with the tools for the job.

Students and Trucks did an amazing job helping me with a complicated overseas move. Thanks to the problem solving, positive attitude and professionalism of Ethan Steinberg, the company’s CEO, I was able to move an oversized shipping crate (7 ft long and 4 ft tall) to a freight forwarder for shipping. Ethan organized the perfect size moving truck and his colleague Amard helped with the assembling and the packing of the crate. Throughout the move, Amard was careful, helpful and very strong. Working with Ethan and Amard made this challenging move stress-free, but more importantly, made it possible and at a very reasonable price. Please do not hesitate to hire Students and Trucks. Their work is outstanding.

Barry and DeAngelo arrived and went above and beyond expectations mainly due to my inability to estimate the amount of work correctly. They didn’t even blink and went right to work. They adjusted as needed even with my two young children running around them as they moved our furniture and boxes. They unloaded just as efficiently after a very long day and drive.
