Bailey’s Moving and Storage company is absolutely the best! My movers arrived right on time and asked all the right questions about where all my furniture was to go and how to be placed. My movers were very professional and took great care with my antiques and expensive pieces. They went above and beyond to make sure my move was a great success. They were very communicative and very funny. They worked so well together as a team. I will definitely be using Bailey’s again and can highly recommend them to anyone wanting an easy move. I have worked with other moving companies in the past and ended up stressed, frustrated and handed damaged goods. I will never put myself through that again. My contact person at Bailey’s was Joan and she was great. Every question was answered promptly and she scheduled everything I needed for my move - 4 movers and certain supplies I needed for them to bring. Bracken gave us a firm quote that did not change to complete our cross-country move. Greg the driver did excellent work of wrapping and protecting our furniture. We are happy to write this review for Bailey’s Allied Moving and Storage. It is rare these days that one can say they nailed it 100% but that is what they did! Their challenge was to help our family relocate aging parents from Northern Utah to Las Vegas. We have moved several times before and none of those experiences were really good so we had lots of concerns going into this move. We talked to four different movers and were very nervous about picking any of them for a variety of reasons…but mostly a concern about reliability, doing what they promised to do, and managing the move with a minimal number of upsets which always happen when you move a house. From the on-site estimator we received a professional quality estimate that matched exactly what we asked for. It was very competitive with the other bids we received. Their website had a lot of information about insurance and preparing for the move that was very helpful. On packing day (Thursday) their crew showed up exactly as promised and worked very hard for the full day. We watched them pack countless small items, items treasured by our parents, with care. We received a call from our moving coordinator in the afternoon to check on status which was great. The next day (Friday), the loading crew showed up on time and also worked very hard through the day to get things loaded. We got another call from our moving coordinator to check with us on progress and a visit from supervisor who stopped by to check with us in person. We were very lucky that the truck could head straight to the new location and they were there Monday morning at 7AM to start the unloading and unpacking. Again, the crew worked hard all day and had everything unpacked by the end of the day. Everything arrived intact and the crew got it both loaded and unloaded without dinging any of the walls which was a real challenge given the house floor plans. We got our third follow-up call from our moving coordinator to make sure all was good. We are very thankful to all of the moving staff as they knew how fragile and concerned our parents were about the move. We would use them again without any question. Steve and Peg S

Recently we contracted Bailey's for a local move. Mario and his crew were fabulous to work with. They packed everything up beautifully and worked with our schedule to arrive at both homes exactly when they said they would. From the start, Bailey’s was professional, thorough, and said what they would do and did what they said. Their price was fair and when the date and time came for the move, two trucks and five men showed up on time. These guys were hard working, pros at their trade, and all had great dispositions. Without missing a beat in three hours they had two 35 foot trucks loaded and ready to head to our home with lots of “Heavies” and “Fragiles”. This crew had tons of experience, skill, and knew how to work as a team with no wasted motion. Jake knew exactly how to set up the trucks, ramps, and laying out the best path to unload everything into our house. Juan, Marquito, Beau, and Jesse A worked hard together with friendly attitudes. These were the best team of movers I have ever seen. Nothing was broken and and no damage to our house. Pam, Linda, and Brooke packed our entire house in record time. Taking the care and love into our fragile items as well. Very friendly and were extreme easy to work with!! Our loaders and unloaders- Mario, Francisco, Jimmy and Jesse were amazing as well. Helped get every squared away and readjusted!! Not to mention breaking down and reassembled all of our items! I contacted Chris from Bailey’s because I needed to relocate from Salt Lake City to Washington, and he came to my apartment and gave me a reasonable quote. I shared some of my experiences getting quotes from other moving companies. Other companies said I needed to give a deposit. When I told this to Chris, he said a reputable moving company won’t require a deposit and will allow you to pay once your things are delivered. Knowing this made me feel secure. Every time I called with a question, Chris was available. Once we started the move, we worked with Cyndi, who was also amazing! She called us once we were in Washington to tell us when the movers on this end would deliver our things, and then she called while the movers were unloading our belongings. I am grateful I went with Bailey’s Storage and Moving. They made a super stressful situation more manageable. Thank you!

Baileys moving and storage helped us to empty out a couple of commercial building today. The guys were efficient, fast, respectful, I was amazed that they were able to Tetris everything into the trucks with precision and care. They moved everything from a grand piano to the smallest garbage cans. The guys were fun to be around, happy, smiling and joking all on a hot day with heavy loads.

I can’t speak highly enough about Baileys crew that we worked with. They moved around 15k pounds of furniture including big items that had special crates made. While moving out of state may never be fun, the team from Bailey’s moving and storage made it simple and as stress free as possible. Joan is an amazing coordinator who was with me each step along the way. She’s very responsive, answered all my questions and helped ease any little concern I had. The movers took great care of both homes and ALL of our belongings showed up carefully wrapped and in perfect condition. Given there was heavy snow at our departure point and a downpour at our destination, this was especially important. Thank you, thank you!!

The front end of our move went very smoothly. Showed up and boxed up our china as agreed. Moving team was great. Back end not so good. We had put our things in storage as we didn’t have a move in date yet in our new state. They did mention to give them as much lead time as possible - I was anticipating a week or so. It ended up being 3 full weeks from when we called to when they were able to deliver. A week before our delivery their billing department tried to take a $9000 payment from our debit card that is attached to our checking account without notifying us before they did so. Completely unacceptable. I had to chase the company for all info on the back in of the move. They really need to communicate better. We were finally told the driver would call us the day before delivery to tell us when he would be here - could arrive anywhere between 7-10 am. He never called and showed up at 10. Once he did show up - he and his team were great and did a good job moving in all of our things and setting them up.

Wow! What can we say about the incredible service Bailey's provided us with our recent move. I can not give enough praise for the job they did! Armando, Zach, and Jose were amazing! There was a gentlemen helping at our origin, but I didn't catch his name who was great, too. They came in, assessed what needed to be done, and got right to work. They were efficient, careful, professional, and super nice! Moving is hard work and they were so cheerful and upbeat, not to mention incredibly polite. The move was executed flawlessly. Staff and salespeople were fast and responsive. The movers arrived on time. They were professional and respectful. They worked hard and worked fast -- ended up saving me a few hundred dollars since they finished sooner than anticipated. They really worked hard. I saw one guy lift a huge mattress like it was nothing and carry it out. They were in and out lifting sofas, dressers and even a safe and had the place empty in basically no time. Our move from the western slope to front range was in the early part of December. Our experience with the Grand Junction Office and crew was outstanding. Jamie Fair's home survey and responsiveness was outstanding. Michelle is very professional and confident. We visited many times over the phone. Complications out of our control added a day to the move. The crew quickly adjusted and implemented a new time table. Chance and his team were professional, courteous and respectful of our home and belongings. Rugs were laid in the high traffic areas and our input was requested when ever an unusually situation arose. We could not have had a better overall experience.

The crew led by Jake showed up right on time and immediately went to work. Everything was done in an orderly manner, no one was in rush. My wife and I were very impressed in how the team took care of our stuff. They started at 8:30am, and was done by 2:00pm. I can't speak to the value since this is the first time that I have hired a moving company. For the result that we got, I would say the price was very reasonable.

She answered all our packing questions in a friendly manner and was confident in their ability to get everything in the truck and secured safely. I highly recommend Bailey's. Our movers, Mohamed, Shafie, and Bridger were phenomenal. We were especially impressed with Mohamed who led the team. He managed the team well, communicated wonderfully with the guys and with us, and we really appreciated his positive attitude and jokes throughout the morning! We also appreciated their creativity and flexibility after we found out at the last minute the townhouse company would need to redo the carpet in one large room and we were told the room would have to be left empty. I really appreciated that and how smoothly everything went because the weeks around the move transitioning cities and jobs are so hectic. They called and emailed to check in before and even called during the move to see how things were going. I also want to thank Cindy. Bracken came out and looked at everything I wanted to move, even though I lived over an hour away from their location. I had thought I was going to keep more than what I actually did so a few weeks later after I had gotten rid of a lot of items he came back out to redo everything on my bid so that there were no surprises on either end. He always had a great attitude and was awesome to work with! He is very responsive to emails. He also set me up with his lead move coordinator Cyndi Buhler who not only called me to go over the move but also called to tell me what time the packers would arrive and when the movers would be there to get my items. She called me twice to see how packing was going and twice to see how the movers were doing. A few days after my move she called to see how everything was going and to let me know that when I needed the boxes picked up they would be happy to schedule so I didn't have to worry about where I would put all the empty boxes. She was very attentive to make sure everything was going great at all points of my move! The packers Pam and Sara Were awesome, they took very good care in packing everything! The movers, Francisco, Tyler, Zach, Dallin and Freddie were great, they handled all of my items with care and were sure to ask where I wanted my furniture and boxes so it wasn't just placed anywhere that I couldn't find things I needed. During the move the move manager Curtis stopped by my new house just to check on the crew and see how things were going, I was happy but not surprised as this was the type of service I had received throughout the entire move. I am a previous military wife and have moved countless times and this move, by FAR exceeded any move I have ever had done. I would recommend Bailey's to anyone needing a local or long distance move because they really do care about how their customers are taken care of. Kudos and thank you to the entire team!

Overall service was great. Very responsive throughout the experience. They took great care in moving a very expensive antique secretary. During the estimate phase, we were told the movers could disassemble and reinstall the entertainment center. However, upon arrival, they showed very little confidence in the task. I decided to disassemble myself. I felt rushed to get back to the move, I disassemble as quickly as possible while they were moving other things. In my rush, I dropped the cap and broke a section of furniture. otherwise the move went well.

I've never used a professional moving company before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. There were so many moving parts, different subcontractors doing different things, etc, but Cindy at Bailey's was on top of it all. She called every day during the pack and move to make sure that things were going well and was as eager to hear about the (very limited) bad as she was the good. When a few things did have issues, she was quick to intervene and resolve them quickly and thoroughly. I hope to not move again for a long, long time. We just had Bailey’s and they’re moving Team move us from our old house to a new home. This was my first time ever using a moving service and it was the best money we spent during the move according to my wife. Scheduling and setting up the move was very easy, the sales rep was awesome during the process and sent over a contract to get the move scheduled after we talked cost. We had a follow-up call from the scheduling or dispatcher in their office letting us know of being on their schedule and they would be calling the day of the move. The day of the move was rainy and snowy which was not fun for a move but having the movers made it a lot easier. Armando and his team that moved us were super fast and efficient and took great care to make sure our belongings and home were protected. They were very experienced and knew exactly what to do to make sure certain items were not damaged during this process. We ended up Having a little bit more stuff than we thought so the truck filled up and we just had to make an extra run which was no problem at all. We were able to finish in less time than estimated which was great but for the ease and smoothness of the move it would’ve been no problem to pay the estimated total. I would definitely recommend giving these guys a shot for your move. We had a great experience and not everything went perfect but it was pretty close. Leaps better than having your friends come help you move, damaging things and fighting the weather.

The movers were extremely careful with my piano, which I am grateful for. They even helped me decide how to place my furniture when certain pieces were too large for my new home. Honestly, if I didn't encourage them to try, my couch (which didn't fit downstairs) would not have ripped. I don't know if wrapping the faux leather would have helped, but that was my only qualm. Otherwise, very great service.

Moves are complicated and under the best of situation not enjoyable. My family moves a lot (six interstate moves in 17 years), so I have more than a passing knowledge of the experience (except for how much they cost; usually the moves are paid for). This was the first time I ever had the same driver pick up and deliver, that continuity made a big difference in the care of both load and unload and minimization of breakage (it has only been a couple of days since deliver but have looked through most boxes, all furniture and a couple electronics). Every one was extremely nice from the packers, loaders, unloaders and driver. It wasn't an easy move for the company where we came from was unexpectedly hot and our destination was unexpectedly wet (the reverse would have been expected), there was never a complaint or passive aggressive comment. When I tipped, it felt heart-felt when they said this wasn't necessary. Where they perfect, no (other than me, nothing is perfect and I made mistakes in this review). My on-the-phone-representative (Cyndi) was great, I am a bit particular and need a lot of confirmation and planning way ahead of time and she flowed with me. I still talk with her and plan to call her again when we need a little attention. Just because the move is over, our relationship hasn't ended (maybe it is because I haven't paid yet).

I used Bailey's to move from South Dakota to Utah in January 2020. Getting a quote was quite easy, then we scheduled the dates (one for packing and following day for loading). The teams for both days were quite punctual, very friendly yet very professional. They gave me a window of 7-10 days for delivery but delivered my things within 4-5 days. The driver kept in touch along the way to tell me when to expect him, and then on the day of delivery, things again went so smooth without any items damaged. The coordinator was checking on me all through the process to make sure things were going well. Finally, I received the final bill which was $300 more than the initial estimate, a little more than I expected, but because my overall experience was great I didn't mind or negotiate it. I wold definitely recommend Bailey's and would use them again without hesitation!

Far and away the best moving company in Utah. I signed up with a different, cheaper company in April to have two trucks with 4 guys to move a very large house. The two trucks showed up but only 3 guys. They were rude and acted totally bent out of shape about having to move my stuff. They did a terrible job of packing my stuff in my storage location and didn't even get everything done in a full day - Bailey's to the rescue! I called Bailey's that afternoon and scheduled to have them come the following day and complete my move. Javier and Rafael showed up and were as nice and pleasant as they could be. They took extra good care of my stuff and made sure everything was packed appropriately and carefully. Fast forward 6 months to now when I'm moving the stuff out of the storage location to our new home and I didn't think twice about who to call. I requested Javier and Rafael again because I knew they would do the job above and beyond the call of duty. Unfortunately they were already assigned to another job so I couldn't get them again. Didn't matter - Muhammad and Francisco did every bit as good a job and were super awesome guys as well. The move from the storage location to the new house took much longer than anticipated but these guys kept their heads down and got everything done and were beyond pleasant and friendly the whole time. These guys know how to do business and have exceptional customer service skills. In a time when that seems to be falling by the way-side, Bailey's still checks every box in that department and they take exceptional care when packing, transporting, and moving your stuff. I can not recommend them enough. Do not even think of continuing your search because you have found the company you should be using for your move - A++++++ Thanks again guys for my two exceptional experiences moving. Moving is hard enough as-is, and you guys really helped to make it easier.

But, overall, I would recommend using Bailey's. We had a few items broken but I'm confident repairs will be taken care of.

We knew this move to a mountain home in the middle of winter was going to be tricky. We interviewed multiple companies, but it was Bailey's who understood the terrain, and issues of weather. The estimator Kasey was professional and discussed the situation. The team who prepped and loaded our household were efficient, and did a great job. But it was the team that brought our household up the mountain who really needs commendation. The mountain road is dirt, our driveway was steep and icy. This was a team that showed up, despite the icy roads that required chains, snowy weather, happy and joking and courteous. So many obstacles were surmounted aside from weather: shuttling our household four miles from the truck parked at the bottom of the mountain, three levels of stairs and some very heavy pieces. We actually had a very enjoyable day, in spite of the chaos that is moving from one state to another. Our best comments are for moving coordinator Joan Dratch. Wow! I can only give Bailey’s a WOW! Moving to Mexico, and taking only a few furniture treasures I’ve had for decades, plus basic household items, is a big transition for me. I needed a company to manage my move, but - importantly - I needed a company to demonstrate they would care for my things as I would. I called several international movers and made 85% of my decision based on my first phone call. Chris was superb, answering my questions directly. I’d say timely, personable and concerned are key characteristics he demonstrated in his work. Through Chris, I met Cyndi, who has been a lifesaver, staying the course through changes in moving date, delays in getting my VISA, and more. Her answer was always the same: we’ll take care of you! Don’t worry! It has been so reassuring to have her spearheading this endeavor. The moving team was on time and on task. The team lead, Jose, was courteous and continuously assured my needs were being met, as they packed up my house and moved it on the truck. Bailey’s Quality Control inspector did a walkthrough while the team was packing up. He wanted to assure everything was going the way I wanted it and Bailey’s expected it to go. Wow! Jose and I did a final walk through together; he wanted to assure they had taken everything I indicated to go. In the end, once loaded, there was a question about whether the load was over predicted weight. Chris was so concerned, he went down to the warehouse early Saturday morning to weigh the load, calling me until he reached me by phone to assure me we were spot on his estimate. Daniela will be managing my customs clearance, and I am confident she’ll get it done! She so kindly instructed me four times to send a pdf of my passport.Under stress, I sent her everything but - until I finally got it right! I made the right call in selecting Bailey’s. They are hands above their competition and I have no concerns about going through customs and unloading my things at my new home in Mexico. The team from Bailey's was responsive all along the way, from the estimate process, to the preparation calls, and throughout the physical move. The moving team worked so hard, they actually called in a second truck and worked a 12 hours shift to get us moved in one day rather than taking two days as originally planned. We have used Bailey's twice to move us. Joannie Dratch insured that our move went smoothly. Our crew arrived on time and professionally packed our belongings. Working with Armondo and the rest of the crew was a pleasure but we did find afterwards that a lot of our belongings weren't placed in the correct areas and will be hard for us to move up and down the stairs. When it came time to settle the bill, other charges were added in the amount of $1300.00 that were not on the original quote. I would ask for clarification of the bill before the move happens to avoid the additional charges.

I went through 2 moves simultaneously using 2 Allied agents...Baileys Moving and Storage and Beverly Hills Transfer and Storage. The movers (both loading and unloading) were fantastic. They were professional and treated our possession with great care. The packing process with Baileys was slow (9 hrs) and mediocre. Very little paper padding was used to cushion the boxes both top and bottom. It paled in comparison to the Beverly Hills agent. Our moving coordinator for Baileys basically kept her chair warm. I had to initiate almost all communication. The Beverly Hills agent was on top of everything and and kept me constantly updated on each step of the move. There was a big difference in the 2 agents. I would have to think twice before using Baileys again.

They knew what they were doing, laid cardboard to protect the floors of our new home and wrapped up any items that needed a little extra protection. We were so impressed with Bailey's--with Cyndi, who handled the bidding and account; Noreen, who managed the packing day; and Clawson, who managed the loading day. We are moving to Australia--a gigantic and intimidating move. I collected bids from three movers and Bailey's was not only a good deal financially, but had a better insurance offering through Allied. The crews who came to our house were hands-down the best movers we've ever had. They were careful, thorough, hard-working, and friendly. They wrapped our stuff with extraordinary care (of course, we haven't received it on the other end yet, so I can't give the final verdict on how well it was all protected). The last time we had movers, they left a mess of empty tape rolls, scraps of paper, box fragments... and left items in our drawers and closets that we had to move ourselves. These guys cleaned up their mess entirely, did several walk-throughs to survey for missed items, and were generally 100% professional. The packing-day crew made an onsite decision that we needed a smaller container (20') than we'd been quoted, so that's what they brought the next day. For a while, it looked like they'd made the wrong call; it seemed like our stuff would never fit. But with a little reorienting of some boxes at the end, they got every last piece in, fit snugly, doors closing with not an extra inch to spare. This saved us up to $3,000 by putting us in the smaller container. I was very grateful to them and impressed with their professional knowledge and skills. Seriously, I've never had a better move or crew of movers. I've had some real nightmare moves, and then your standard "adequate" ones. These guys were phenomenal. Ask for one of Clawson's crews if you can!!
