They were so easy to work with. I had to reschedule and make some changes to my quote due to changing circumstances, and they were very accommodating. The movers were nice and packed and moved my things with care. The operations manager even stopped by to drop off packing supplies and he was very polite and professional. I hired Keep It Moving to move from a house to an apartment. They were scheduled to arrive between 2-4, and they arrived on time to start work in a large moving truck. They looked at the items that were to be moved to get a game plan. There were two movers who were nice, professional and careful with my furniture. They were very efficient and were able to move all my furniture in 2.5 hours. They made sure to be careful when moving things upstairs and when going around corners. Good communication between movers and myself. I would recommend them to anyone who is trying to move. It was easy to schedule an appointment over the phone. Their moving rate was affordable and fit in my budget. They were polite and pleasant to work with. If I move in the future, I will hire them again!!

At any business, it’s all about the people. I can’t say enough good things about Jeff, Michael, and Nathan. I observed the entire process and they took care of our belongings as if it was their own. No loafing or dragging around either, it was really, really hot and they hustled the entire time. In fact, I had to ask them to take a break. As far as being knowledgeable, these guys knew exactly what and how to do, from loading the truck and wrapping items that need it, to unloading and putting items back together and placing them where we wanted them. When we moved all of our belongings after the hurricane, we were in a bad way looking for a mover and ultimately made a bad choice. That company took 2 plus days (they had 3 guys too) and a lot of our money. These 3 guys from “Keep It Moving” did it in less than 8 hours. We are forever grateful for Jeff, Michael, and Nathan for a job well done, not to mention the camaraderie and teamwork they showed. They actually had a good time doing their job. Like I said, at any business, it’s all about the people. Thanks guys.

This was a GREAT moving company. I've used 2 others in the area previously and this was by far the most superb service. I moved in to an apartment complex with many elderly individuals and they actually complimented the movers because they "weren't clanging around and throwing things everywhere." The steps they had to climb were steep and awkward turning. There was one piece of furniture that couldn't fit into the doorway (not their fault) but they really did try to figure out a way to make it work. The only issue I had was (again, one of those flukes) was my move was scheduled for 10am and they didn't come until 5pm because of issues with a team that didn't show up. The only reason this really impacted me was the fact that I didn't know until 8pm that the sofa wouldn't fit into my apartment and with the storage unit being closed on Sunday (move was Saturday) I had to keep my truck an extra day with the sofa in it. Again, it was a fluke but worth mentioning in case it's something anyone sees as a pattern (what reviews are for, right?). I only wish the communication had been better - I had to call 4 times and wasn't getting calls back when they said they were checking in on time frame. However, it seemed like it was likely a stressful day because a team hadn't shown up. I promise I'm not a people pleaser - I truly think they did their best and the guys' attitudes after a long day and probably an extra move were still very upbeat and nice. I'll be using them again for sure.

We just moved into a two-story home and needed some help with moving our larger bedroom furniture that I am unable to handle going up stairs. We called Keep It Moving last minute and they were able to come out the next afternoon. They had three strong, young men and John Michael, owner, was there to supervise and vocalize what needs to happen next as much of the large furniture obstructed the views of his staff. These guys moved over 1,000 pounds of furniture in less than 45 minutes. That includes removing door off frame and putting it back on (so they could get the refrigerator in the house). They cleaned up after themselves, and even helped me connect the fridge. Should we ever need any more help with moving, we'll certainly give Keep It Moving a call!! Highly recommend.

Followup: Keep it Moving did follow up and successfully complete my move. The owner even came to my residence during the move to ensure everything went smoothly and I was completely satisfied. :) Unable to complete a move, needed a ramp, would come back within 5 days to complete. It’s been almost three weeks, have called 7 times and always told would have someone call back, you guessed it, not one call back, now they are not answering my calls.

Was just a couple minutes late from 10 am start up time. Real personable guys all 3 of them. Went right to work and only took a small 5 to 10 minute break and worked consistently. Oh my, where do I start. I’m huge on reviews so I’ll give you everything I look for in a review. From the first call to Keep It Moving everything went great. Let’s get to the good part. The movers, Josh, Nicholas & James, called and asked if the could arrive early, I was appalled. They did so and got straight to work, packed up everything, and traveled 40 miles to my new location. They placed all items in each room where they should go and finished in 4.5hrs. All of this with not one scratch on any of my furniture. I must also add that all of this was done the same week as Hurricane Ida hit and there was no A/C at my first location due to power outages in the city. There was a slight error when booking with Elizabeth who was very nice and was suppose to give me a quote for 5hrs. but only did so for 2hrs., if I would have done the math I would have caught the error. However, their price was on average $300 less than what other companies with better Google reviews quoted me. Thumbs up to the entire crew over there at Keeping It Moving cause that is exactly what they do.

DEFINITELY THE BEST! Our bakery used Keep It Moving to move large specialty baking equipment across town. The equipment is very expensive, bulky, and needed careful handling. We needed a liftgate, tie downs, and a truck. We especially needed to trust Keep It Moving to coordinate and pickup the correct equipment without myself at the pickup site. THEY WERE FANTASTIC!! They coordinated the site pickup, took special care with the equipment, and delivered everything without a scratch. Amazingly, their prices were the best too. They were very pleasant while enduring the heat and hard work. I've used many different movers over the years but Keep It Moving is the only mover I'll call in the future.

Arrived on time, wrapped all the furniture in shipping blankets to protect it, worked quickly, took great care to protect the surroundings and did everything I asked, no issues. This company moved my furniture and boxes and loaded a POD. First of all the office was very flexible with my changing days during the crazy time of early COVID. They were always pleasant and helpful. The two workers who did the job were professional and friendly. They wrapped and packed my belongings with care and time efficiently. I was prepared with plenty of supplies, moving blankets and giant rubber bands i bought on Amazon. They brought the plastic wrapping. I could have used another restraining strap or two but everything arrived safely without damage. Their charges were reasonable as well. I would hire this company again.

If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. These folks completely saved our move. We had booked a different local moving company and they completely failed to show up TWICE. So in a pinch, I called Keep It Moving. I wish I had called them first. A two-man crew showed up with a huge truck and an awesome attitude. Khalil and Javier were completely professional. It really seemed like they were treating our stuff like their own. Again, and I truly mean this, if I could give them more than 5 stars, I would! Their price was reasonable and completely worth every penny.

Booked movers few days before my local move. First experience hiring movers and my moving team was awesome. Having a short window (3hrs) with 30 minute commute to the new place to move a 10x15 storage unit...I was concerned about running over my time incurring extra fees. This wasn’t a problem at all since my team was focused, friendly, respectful, and FAST! I had 2 male teenagers to help move any lighter items (small bags/boxes) so we could get big items loaded. I’m grateful for Elizabeth’s patience with my multiple calls with questions... I would definitely recommend “Keep It Moving” for local moves! Tip: Make sure to include a tip for your moving team if you felt they did great, or have something cold for them to drink since they are doing heavy lifting in LA heat. Will call you guys next move!

Keep It Moving is one of the best moving companies in Slidell. Their contracting is fair and they do their best to not waste your time or theirs. Their crews are much better dressed and acting compared to most of the crews I have had to deal with. Do make sure you tip them, as it is backbreaking work.

Showed up within the time window provided. Did a walkthrough of both houses to see what’s coming out and where things will be placed. The guys asked questions if they were unsure about anything. They were timely and efficient. Broke down beds and frames and rebuilt upon arriving at the new house. The guys were nice, communicated, and took care in moving our things. I called on a Sunday afternoon, not hopeful that anyone would be available for our local move the next day. Elizabeth was very professional and seemed genuinely interested in meeting our needs. With a little flexibility on date, our move was confirmed by email Sunday afternoon. The movers called Tuesday morning when they were on their way and arrived on time. Shawn and Malik worked hard for almost 3 hours to load and unload and, despite the New Orleans heat, did so with a smile. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a move of any kind! I hope I don't need them again, but I would definitely use them and only them.

these guys were amazing! they moved a grand piano out of a second second story room in an old French quarter building down a nearly impossible winding staircase into their truck and then into my home. the task seemed virtually impossible and that's why nobody had moved the piano in decades. but these guys not only did it, but kept a smile on their faces the whole time. would definitely work with them again!
