This vendor was used by the company who I ordered my furniture from. They were easy to schedule delivery with. They arrived early on the day of delivery which was fine with me. There was an issue with my order, no fault of the delivery company. They actually helped call the furniture company so we could discuss the problem. This was helpful as I was struggling to get someone on the line who could help. Most delivery companies drop off your stuff and that’s it. Professional, great customer service and prompt.

The guys who came to do the delivery were great! Very helpful, nice and cleaned up after themselves. However, I think the communication about the delivery window was not very timely. I did not hear what my delivery time was until the EVENING before the next morning. This really is not acceptable for people to be able to plan ahead. I don’t have the ability to just keep a whole day open. I had to keep other people on call to be able to pick my kids up from school, etc and could not make arrangements in advance.

The moving consultant who inventoried our home was professional and knowledgeable. The movers who moved our belongings out of mini-storage and delivered to our new townhouse were also great. They provided excellent communication throughout our entire relocation, and handled everything with care making sure to protect our furniture as well as our home. I have a post regarding Berger from 11 months ago below. I also used Berger October 2022 to move my sister's belongings. Absolutely AMAZING. They were able to send Ricardo and his crew who had worked with me less than a year ago for my move. They are professional, organized and just a pleasure to deal with. I hope the management at Berger sees this and gives Ricardo and he crew the praise and kudos they deserve. I have used Berger Allied movers many times. Each time I have had an amazing experience, whether I have a state to state or a local move. This last move was another great experience. The crew was early, fast and even had to finish up in snowfall. Ricardo and his team were wonderful. Thanks again for making sure the move wasn't stressful.

Easy process to order stools on phone with the clerk I had talked to at the store. Easy delivery although I felt it was very expensive. I wish there had been a choice between white glove delivery and a basic delivery. I certainly can open box and attach legs myself.

I have moved over 20 times in my adult life — internationally, domestically, trans-Atlantic, trans-Pacific, part container, full container and multiple container shipments — and I know what a TOTAL nightmare moving companies can be. Even the good ones fall short time and time again. I will say, the inventory process with Allied in Florida (where we were moving from) — Pat — was among the worst I’ve ever experienced and their “coordinator”/office staff — Kylie — was pretty unresponsive, ineffective and unavailable in the run up to the moving date (I had to coordinate a bunch of stuff myself that should have been their responsibility) BUT the driver they allocated to us — Agim Balla — was literally the best I have ever had. He truly knows what it is to take care of his customers belongings, arrive on time, communicate effectively, manage the packing/loading process and go the extra mile to help out during what he understands can be a genuinely challenging and stressful time. He managed his loading and unloading teams (different ones on both ends) effectively and treated them with respect, kindness and gratitude. He basically did half the coordinator’s job and got on the phone with me personally to arrange the booking/confirmation of the loading dock requirements at the delivery end (downtown Chicago) when I could not get a response from the move coordinator who was AWOL. Between the inventory and coordination (not including Agim) I would probably have given them 2 stars. With Agim on the job, it was 5 star service. I will certainly use Allied again (they have done several of my previous moves with varying degrees of professionalism and customer service — I do not recommend you use their insurance, it’s impossible to get money out of them for damages/broken items) but only on the basis of Agim being my driver. He is first class and a shining star in what can be a really difficult industry to get quality customer service. I recommend him wholeheartedly!

Amy working inside did a fantastic job always being in touch before, during and after! Both when they picked up our furniture and then delivered it a couple of days later. Scott and his 2 person crew from Minnesota where spot on arriving when they said they would and so professional. True Gentlemen. They handled all of our items as it was their own personal items. I couldn’t speak more highly of them. When Scott arrived on the receiving end of our move again they arrived just as they said they would. Everything they said they would do, they did. Example putting together our beds and a table. They were very careful with everything, very professional …everything you would want in a moving company ! We highly, HIGHLY recommend using them. Thank heavens for Berger Allied!!! I had my household goods held hostage in California by Rapid Van lines for over 2 months. Sitting in Minnesota in an empty house and no sign of getting my belongings from Rapid Van Lines, I contacted Berger Allied for help. They came to the rescue! They had to fight hard with the storage facility manager (where my things were hostage) to get my things. Within a matter of 1-2 weeks, Berger Allied was at my door in MN with my belongings. It cost me a lot to be saved by Berger Allied, but after all the chaos and stress Rapid Van Lines caused, it was so worth it!!! Thanks to all the wonderful staff that helped me!

We moved states, had all our items packed by Berger, transported and stored for a month. First, the ladies that packed our old house were amazing! They definitely know what they are doing. Nothing, including stemware was broken upon unpacking. The guys who moved our items into the truck did put a minor dent in the stairwell. This was handled right away and fixed before the new buyer moved in. We ended up needing to store our items for a month. Ann was so responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. She was also pleasant and professional. She definitely calmed my nerves that came with a big move. The truck showed up as scheduled at our new home. The guys moving our items were great and very careful. We are missing one item (I haven’t filed a claim yet) but know they will take care of me and make it right! I will definitely use them if we move again.

This was our first long distance move ever, and we wanted to go with a long established and trusted mover. We contacted Berger Allied Van Lines and the whole process was exceptional. We arranged to have our furniture and possessions loaded and also arranged to have my husband’s car shipped as well. From first contact with the company we received timely updates and follow up calls on how it went. The two men that did our load and unload were incredible, they were efficient and friendly and fast and careful. They had their hands full with our stuff, we had a huge, heavy load and they handled it with no problem. On the delivery date they were prompt, efficient, friendly and professional and I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to have them work for us again and I heartily recommend them. I definitely recommend Berger Allied Van Lines, amazing job!

Delivery team delivered a cabinet to my place and because of having poor sell service in this area they were unable to reach me They were not able to drive to the house because there truck was to bog to get to it So after not being able to reach me by phone they decided to make the delivery anyway and carried the cabinet back to my house This is a minimum of a quarter mile back through the woods and through a fresh snow fall. I don’t remember when i ever heard of service like this . I have been telling all my friends and coworkers about the incident and no one can believe they went to such frat lengths to make this delivery. These guys deserve a raise and or a promotion because if they worked for me I would never want to loose them please make sure they see this Amazing Service Thank you

I recommend them wholeheartedly. They showed great professionalism and care in handling my belongings and excelled in every aspect of the move: from their expert packing and storage of my household goods until I arranged housing to delivering them cross country as if it were a mere same day, local move. Then there were Berger’s personal touches: placing notices to alert neighbors about the van on loading day and helping me arrange transport first of my car and then of myself to the airport. This is my second time using Berger, first when I moved from TX to CA, and then again most recently to move back to TX. Both moves were so hassle free for me. Michelle helped me with my most recent move. She was available throughout the entire process, and would respond within the hour. The dates of actual pick-up and drop-off were within my original quoted dates, and I wasn’t blindsided by any extra charges. I even had an issue with my TV, couldn’t find the screws for the movers to put the stand back together. Michelle made sure my order stayed opened until the screws were found and the stand was put together. I recommend them to anyone looking to move. I will definitely use them again for any future moves.

This was my second interstate move. For this second move, I selected Berger/Allied and could not be happier! Jaime Munguia, the driver/move boss, is a truly remarkable and wonderful man . He was helpful, patient, calm and extraordinarily kind. My goods arrived on time, in perfect condition and without a single misplaced item. The delivery was a challenge, as we had an unusual snow storm (for our part of the country) the night before delivery day. Despite all the challenges the storm offered, Jaime and his crew accomplished the task with a great spirit and attitude. I wholeheartedly recommend Berger/Allied. They are the very best. What a stark contrast to my first interstate move 7 years ago.

You can tell when you're working with professionals. They enjoy what they're doing, they do it well and they communicate with you throughout the process. Such was my experience working with Berger Allied on a cross country move in January 2020. Entrusting our belongings (valuable or not) to strangers does not come easily, so I was pleasantly surprised by how standout driver, Kevin, and his ground handling teams in Maplewood and Mesa handled everything, including my expectations and last minute requests. They carefully and efficiently took furniture apart, wrapped it in warm blankets and secured my belongings and my apprehensions. Berger's entire team, from sales, to customer service, to accounting, to loaders and driver, eased my mind and communicated well throughout the process. Many of Berger's staff are long term employees and it speaks volumes when they understood what I wanted, sometimes before I even figured it out myself. Their experience and patience really made a difference to me. I want to give a shout out to "ringleader" Kevin, for his command of each situation, his humor and lightheartedness, work ethic and dedication to customer satisfaction. He was unfazed by anything and is a great asset to the company. I recommend Berger Allied in a heartbeat and thank them for maintaining a superior workforce.

Allied was referred to us by a family member and I have to say I am so happy we went with this company.,right from the get go I spoke with David Lorier he was so informative and helpful he answered my many questions and out my mind at ease . WE are so pleased we found Berger Transfer. We made a cross country move from Colorado to Minnesota. We used a POD for our stuff and it delivered to Bergers warehouse. They unloaded the POD content snd loaded up their truck. They then moved all those items into our apartment. Nothing was damaged. All time commitments were met. The service was friendly and professional. Ya can't beat that!

Fernando moved me from Atlanta to Phoenix. One of the highest compliments a person can get is that they've mastered their craft, and Fernando is a master. He was super friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and creative. He hustled, and added a level of confidence to my move I didn't have before - which is important, because he basically has everything I own. Also found the pricing to be very reasonable. I was way over our estimated weight, but they didn't gouge me or put in hidden fees.

Moving from one city to another is always a difficult experience. There are many, many details to be dealt with - change bank accounts, change addresses on multiple service providers, find new doctors, pharmacies, etc., etc. For all of these details the person moving must usually deal with a service representative of some kind. Unfortunately, service from most of these individuals is less that satisfactory. Berger was the exception. Service was outstanding. Every phone call was returned promptly (most of the time no return call was necessary as the phone was answered by the needed individual), exact information was given, everyone showed up on time as scheduled, communication was outstanding, actual move was handled professionally with no damage to household contents. very nice place it's weird at first if you don't know where to back in but I've been here already so it's very easy pretty cool go here that is a low butt tights but that's what makes the job more fun do I have a little bit of a challenge so don't be scared to ask where you need to back into keep in mind that you don't want to hit any cars or buildings so make sure you are aware of your surroundings if you are not sure stop go out and check to be sure you are not hitting anything
