Shipping million dollar machines half way around the U.S can be stressful. However, Cowtown Express alleviated that stress! They're very responsive, polite, and get the job done!. The amount they quoted for the loads, was the same amount invoiced (which is rare). Plus, the drivers were so friendly! I will most definitely book again!

My opinions and experiences. First of all. You can make a living wage, depending on your financial expenses. Dispatchers are nice and friendly. They work with you on your load preferences. Now the negative. If you see their ad on dallascraigslist. You will only bring home$1200-$2000 (winter season ) weekly. Trucks are dirty on the inside when you first come on board. They only wash the outside of the truck on weekends (sometimes). Most trucks are manual shift (13speed). Maintenance crew is knowledgeable and great at their job. But restricted to doing Band-Aid jobs to keep truck’s running from week to week. According to maintenance worker. Home time is not exactly what they say it is. You can leave Sunday and be back Friday. However mid afternoon or evening on Fridays and they want you to leave as early as you can on Sunday. They prefer you are out 2 weeks. You are always rushed to get from point A-B. And they will mismanage your time. Heavy haul (RGN) gets a 34 and back out. If you are lucky. According to RGN driver. Once again my opinion and experience.

This is my experience and opinions. First if you want to make some great money as a company driver, this is the place. Dispatchers(driver managers) are great to work with. However if there equipment has a power surge and kills your phone, they will not pay for a new one. They expect that you use your personal cell phone for work purposes, and will not reimburse you for the usage. If you try to uphold them to federal and state labor laws, they will terminate your position, saying you abandon your job, and you are unprofessional. If you see there posting on Craigslist or any other job platform, just know they recently decreased their pay, so they may have bigger profits. Do your research about this company before accepting any position with them. Once again my experience and opinion.

I used cowtown express to ship 2 shipping container homes from Waco to Bellevue Texas. Brazos was my contact person with the company. I found him to be very prompt In returning my inquiry and giving me a quote. Prior to the date of shipment, he got all the details from me so that he could make sure that the trucks he was going to send were the correct size. As it got closer to the time and date of shipment, he kept in touch with me regularly, almost on a daily basis, to ensure that the crane (out of Irving), the welder, and the representative from the manufacturer site would all be there at the same time. The trucks did arrive at the stated time, the crane arrived at the same time and the whole process of unloading and stacking the containers took about an hour and a 1/2. I was very happy with the level of communication that Brazos provided, and the punctuality and professionalism as well. I would use them again in the future.

Every time I have asked to get a last minute load covered, Timothy has come through and within an hour has a truck on it's way to pick up! In the world as we know it today, this type of urgency and attention to detail is very rare. Their communication from pick-up to delivery is unsurpassed. Thank you for all of your hard work!

I've gotten the chance to work with the team at Cowtown for the last 18 months, and am very grateful for the experience. In an industry that is easy to remain stagnant and hasn't seen a ton of innovation in the last decade, the owners Colby and Raegan and the Cowtown are trendsetters when it comes to always finding ways to optimize and push the envelope to deliver great service for the clients and create a winning team. There are so many stats I could point to that show how head and shoulders above other transpiration/logistics firms Cowtown is, but the one that for me tells the tale is their driver tenure and reviews from those on the road delivering promises on their behalf. I've come to understand that when a Cowtown leader makes a commitment, it gets done, which is a habit that is shows up when dealing with many other members of the office. Finally, I'd like to recognize Lannie, Lawrence, and Brandon for being stars on the Operations, HR, and Sales front - their effort and drive rubs off on the clients/colleagues they interact with.
