They worked very quickly and efficiently and were extremely professional and humble. Everything went safely from one house to another without any problems. The first time I used a professional mover and was incredibly satisfied! they were courteous and personable. They moved all my belongings, some very heavy, up to three floors, and handled everything with care. They also helped disassemble some pieces of furniture, as well as wrap everything for that extra layer of protection. 10/10 would go back to again.

Very happy I went with trans usa Moving. I loved the offering where yours is the only stuff on the truck, and they drive straight to your new home. Pricing was very reasonable. Our lead mover and driver was Karen (guy) and he was outstanding - ran a tight ship, moved fast, smart, very helpful and caring with our goods, and made the 1200 mile drive in two days! (We didnt need them to be that quick, but they had other moves booked after ours). And in the weeks before move day, every time I emailed them with a question, they were very quick to respond. HIghly recommend, and joining the pile on of 5 star reviews

I want to say that moving to another state is stressful. I got several quotes from other companies but chose Trans USA, and I am glad I did. The quote was very close to the final bill. The movers were awesome and professional,they took their time packing my items into their truck. I was quoted 5-7 days. My things were delivered in 6. I had no damage to my boxes or furniture. Not that I want to move cross country again, but if I have to Trans USA will be my first call.

Hi, I was set off by some of the reviews I read here. I tend to value reviews highly. But I found them to be exceptionally fantastic. Jessica was awesome to deal with. And Yani was an absolute pleasure to work with. As with all of the moves, mine almost turned into a nightmare as well. But Yani responded well to the situation and helped me all the way out. I will never use any other moving company without this Trans USA Moving company. Team leader and his team were on time and stopped working on their butt. They took me out of the third floor apartment and for several hours they were still continuing (literally) behind the steps. All three boys were extremely friendly and professional. The area manager also stopped me to make sure everything was going well. If more than five stars were possible, they would get it.

I used this company to move a 1-bedroom apartment (21 boxes, 1 queen bed, 2 suitcases, a few other pieces of furniture, no couch or sofa) from Texas to Tennessee and used their storage in Houston for a month. Cons: - The main con was the unexpected price increase on the move out day. The quote I had received from Jessica was ~$1700 which was a great deal compared to other companies and the reason I chose this one. This was the quote even after I had provided an updated full inventory list with exact box sizes. I only added one box on the day of which I informed them of in advance. However, on the day of, the final price went up to ~$3800, more than double. This included a $400 shuttle fee in advance in case my new apartment complex cannot accommodate at 18-wheeler which they use for delivery, however, even without this, it was twice the initial quote. The company charges by cubic feet and not weight, and stated my items took up more space than expected. I reached out to Jessica via email later asking for an explanation. I had provided all the sizes and dimensions, so either the quote I received was inappropriately low or they did not pack my items into the truck as efficiently as they could have - both of which are not the customer's fault. I received a call almost immediately from the company owner, Yanniv, who was very nice and forthcoming, and agreed to a $500 discount. Later, they also removed the shuttle fee for practical reasons. Overall, my final price was ~$2900. It was a significant discount from what they planned on charging but also still $1200 more than my initial quote. - I was reassured they would handle all my boxes with great care, however, multiple boxes arrived damaged (including ones labeled fragile) and 2 items were broken (1 glass bowl, 1 cup). Thankfully nothing major but the driver explained heavy boxes were placed on lighter boxes in the 18-wheeler. Pros: - The drivers on pickup and delivery as well as the owner were friendly, time-efficient, and professional. - They wrap all boxes in more tape for stability and all furniture in blankets. They label each item with a number to keep track. All my items arrived, nothing went missing. - Besides the price increase, other charges were mentioned in advance (shuttle fee, stairs fee). Even if you have an elevator, they will charge you a stairs fee if the distance is longer than 75 feet. - Free storage for 30 days. They did not charge me for 1-2 extra days. You are informed in advance it may take 3 weeks for your items to arrive as they make multiple deliveries at once. This is even if you inform them of your delivery date weeks in advance. Mine arrived on day 5. Lastly, I hate to say this but I do question the credibility of a lot of the short 5 star reviews. Overall, I would recommend caution when receiving the initial quote as it will likely not be the final price. After the discounts, the final price I received was a good deal.

Moving can be a very chaotic and frustrating experience, and I wanted to share my firsthand experience moving across the country for the very first time. I want to preface this review with an acknowledgement that no mover is perfect and things constantly change, and I am well aware of that. I’m hoping this review is beneficial to those getting quotes from multiple companies. I found Trans USA very early in my moving journey. They provided one of the lower quotes, and were very communicative upfront. I felt confident committing to them as they also had positive reviews online. The day before the move (Sunday, for a Monday pickup), I had some trouble getting a hold of the rep to confirm what time the move was happening and what address they were coming to first (we had two apartments to move from). After a passive aggressive reply that it was Father’s Day (although I tried to get an answer a few days prior), I was able to get the information I needed. The day of the move started promising. The movers arrived on time, were very helpful and upfront, and things seemed to move quickly and smoothly. After they got to my fiancée’s apartment, they provided me a final number (higher than my quote, but that was expected as I had additional items), I paid and we signed the contract, and I left. Here is where it gets dicey - about 20 minutes after signing the contract (which the mover signed, as well) and paying in full, I received a call to come back. The mover had allegedly made a math error, and I owed $2,000 more than what we had both agreed upon and what I paid. I, understandably, was very frustrated. My fiancée and I repeatedly asked if the company could meet us in the middle - as this was their error - and nothing was done. We finally convinced them to waive the credit card fee. Not a win per say, but it was something. The mover explained to me that should an eighteen wheeler not fit in our new location, that we’d owe a $200 fee for the movers to rent a shuttle. This was never been explicitly said to me as a potential additional cost previously, but given Trans USA had had my new address for several months at this point and not mentioned any concerns, I figured we’d be OK. The day before our furniture and boxes arrived, a driver called to alert us that not only did he not feel comfortable parking his truck on our street (after our new apartment said it was permissible), but that we needed to pay an additional $850 in cash, or our items would not be delivered. This is the second time during this process that we’re being told we owe more than what was agreed upon. Given that Trans USA had our items and we paid in full, we were out of options here. I, again, acknowledge that life happens and things change. That being said, I was more than willing to pay more than my estimate, but when the MOVER makes a mistake and tells us we owe $2,000 more AFTER we’ve both signed a contract, the company needs to step up and take responsibility. Again, Trans USA also had our new address for months and never verbally informed us we’d be subject to a shuttle fee (and I even confirmed this with a rep the WEEK of our move). The day our items arrived was relatively easy, aside from the unexpected fee. Our delivery driver came when expected, and was communicative and efficient. I packed most of my own boxes, so I assumed the risk, but many of the boxes had not been handled with care. They were ripped and dented, and a few dishes were broken in the process. The movers also took the stands off my TVs and put them somewhere where the delivery crew couldn’t find them, so now we are having to reassemble it ourselves. Lastly, if your move is on a Monday, do not expect any communication the day before. While I’ll admit our items arrived on time, I would use a better known mover to guarantee there are no hidden or additional fees.

Like others have mentioned the lead guy estimated more in his head and added an additional $500 to the estimate Jessica provided. They loaded and disassembled everything, assuring me the deliverers would reassemble. They picked up on a Thursday and everything was delivered the following Tuesday. With any move, a few things were broken - bummed but expected. One dresser drawer is a little wonky somehow. A lot of boxes were wet and muddy which was concerning, but nothing in them was damaged. Nothing was reassembled which was disappointing that I then had to do myself as one person. For the price, I would use again.

CANT MOVE HEAVY OBJECTS (800lb safe). Good communication. Best price I could find for sure, $1500 (+ $300 upcharge) to move a studio apartment 1200 miles. If you don't tell them EXACTLY how much you have they will start recalculating your estimate (understandable). Don't use them if you have very heavy objects.They were not prepared for the 800 lb safe I warned the operater about. They could not move my safe so they refunded my money the following Monday.

To All, Do not use Trans USA Moving Company. I have found they hire dishonest employees that have the attitude “I think I will just take these; the customer can just file a claim anyway”. I had 3 items missing from my load, 3 items that were clearly visible as to the content. A coincident, not likely. One of the employees that brought my belongings into the house made a point of mentioning he was from Miami and loved Disney World but could not afford it. Item number 1 missing, a collectable souvenir from Disney World clearly marked on the box. Item number 2, a full box of liquor. Again, quite apparent as to the content of the box. Bet they had a great party with it. Item 3 was an antique table that was wrapped in a moving blanket, clearly visible to what it was. Coincident? Clearly a case of theft. Would they do anything about it? “File a claim” is all they will say. What proof do I have as to the honesty of this crew you ask? Well, after the truck left, the driver of the truck sent me a text asking me if I tipped the crew. I replied that I had given the man from Miami the money to be split with both. He was told I had not tipped. He then needed to know how much I tipped, again I can only surmise that he was told no tip and then when confronted, was lied to about how much. That is only the start. When I first got an estimate, it was based on what I thought I had, so when they came to pick up the load, the foreman counted everything and informed me there were more than I thought so the total was going to be adjusted, which I realized would be the case and agreed to the adjusted amount, which by the way was twice the original. Then, once they had my belonging on the truck and moved out, upon delivery I was told the amount was 2 time more that when they took my belongs. Well of course, I could not get any of my stuff without first paying this amount. If I wanted to contest it they would keep my items, put them in storage, which would cost me storage fees and would probably still have to pay the whole amount as everything is an “estimate” to begin with. Clearly they feel they can take advantage of the public, especially seniors as they can hold your items hostage and help themselves to what ever they want. “Customer just file a claim” no skin of their noses. I do not know how to remove this post, but I have to report the company has taken action with the driver and helper by doing the right thing and firing them and offered to make good on my loss. Awaiting a check to cover the replacement. Thank you Trans USA.

I'm not much on reviews but this move I did with Trans USA still has me puzzled. Jessica was extremely responsive when I had asked for quotes or had any questions. Just frustrated on the physical move itself. They gave me a window that they would come pick up my belongings between 8am-10am. However no one showed until 4pm. I had to call consistently for their ETA to come gather my things. That started my trip off on the wrong foot. Also, as I'm sure its in the fine print in the quote on their processes on additional items would cost more if they were not on the quote. The last moving company I used actually did a facetime through my apartment on what i was moving to give me an accurate quote on my move. The number of boxes I had initially said I had was given off of just looking at my space and not having everything boxed since my move wasn't for another 2 months. The entire transaction seemed fishy, as the movers who came to pick up my items were telling me to pay cash instead of using my CC which was odd. Just overall the move was an odd experience for me. Nothing happened to items which was good. It was just the process on how the operation worked. Suggestions would be to equip your team with some time of square device or payment processor at the time of delivery as doing money orders or taking large amount of cash out is difficult these days and with covid everyone is going cashless. Also, with potential movers, I'd say doing a facetime or some time or visual looking to give a accurate quote to the customer. just my thoughts.

Used this company to move from Houston to Santa Fe. The service was great, and Yanny and his team moved all of our items out efficiently. Unfortunately we had a TV get damaged and a coffee table shows new damage from the move. Luckily the table is a farmhouse style so we're accepting the damage as part of it's aesthetic, but the TV is somehow missing three buttons now from the area around where it would've been picked up. It's unfortunate, but I guess that's what comes with having moving services, or not boxing on our own. Of the boxes we did pack, only two glasses were broken which was bad wrapping on our part but can point to a decent job being done to not throw boxes around in the process. All extra charges made sense. Sort of weird that the delivery is cash only, which created some issues since my company was paying for the move, but I'm assuming it's an industry standard. Would be five stars if I wasn't now missing a power button on our most used tv.
