We had Midwest Moving Company move half of our house out to a storage unit for our remodel (and then back again) and they were excellent both times! The guys were courteous, hard working and CAREFUL with our belongings and our walls. We have used several moving companies for various moves in the past and have suffered through ruined/dented furniture (including an heirloom piano), unprofessional language and one guy even using our toilet for a good 25 minutes (I'm not joking). We finally found a moving company that we'll have back again! I highly recommend Midwest Moving Company for all your moving needs!

I want to start off with saying that I couldn't recommend this moving company more! From the start we received exceptional customer service! We had a horrible experience with a different moving company and needed to find a new one with only 4 days in advance. Midwest Moving Company was quick, efficient, and fairly priced. When the movers arrived to our pick-up destination they were quick, careful, and got things done in lightning speed! They stayed in full communication with us the entire time. When arriving to our destination, they were early and ready to go as soon as we were able. Unfortunately we had some hiccups and Trent and Clayton gave me such grace, and kindness while we figured things out. Once we got to our storage unit they were so kind, and moved quickly but with care of our items. I couldn't thank Trent and Clay enough for their hard work, kindness, and respect through this process! Two great guys.

The movers were over the top in their professionalism and ability. They wrapped all furniture and were able to move large items with ease. I moved 500 miles and was so glad I used a local moving company. They stayed on schedule so I knew exactly when they would be needing me to be available. They packed everything with care and nothing was damaged.

Trent, the driver, did a good job, he was very professional and attentive. The local people who helped download the truck were careless, they dropped 2 boxes from the rear end of the truck to the floor, luckily one of the contained cloths but the other one was a subwoofer, I will not know if it was damaged until we connect it to the surround sound equipment but this take several days. They also scratched the floor while moving a pice of furniture. We awaiting for the company to evaluate the damage.

I have moved many times in my life and these guys, and the people who handled the paperwork of getting it set up, and arriving at an estimate, and getting a date for the move that worked for us were all great. We received a quick response to our original request for a quote. While it took us awhile to review other quotes, when I got back to them, they still had our inventory and came back with the same quote. Midwest was hundreds less than other movers. The two young men who did our move were on time to begin, courteous, and very careful with our furnishings. They went above and beyond as we still had items they had to work around. The move was completed in the time frame that was estimated on the quote. I highly recommend Midwest Moving.

We chose this company for our interstate move after Googling moving companies, and saw that this one had several awards. We used the pack and move services. It was much pricier than expected, but you get what you pay for. The customer service was very good, the movers were friendly and professional, and absolutely nothing was broken during the move. They also drove our belongings straight to our new home in another state, without storing them or waiting. I would use this company again for moving if possible.

Couldn’t ask for more from these guys. We did an in-town move and just wanted to hire someone for the big items. The communication during the quote process was great, and the price was lower than others that I got quotes from. When moving day came, they arrived right on time. The 2 guys doing the move (unfortunately I didn’t get their names) were awesome. Super friendly, professional, and efficient. Nothing was found to be damaged, which can’t be said for the last movers we used. I’d recommend these guys to anyone in the area.

Midwest Moving Company was absolutely great! I was moving from Fargo ND to Carl Junction MO. I needed to move within 10 days of my call, which most moving companies told me it couldn't be done. I spoke with Matt and Cody who came over and gave me a bid after walking through my house and seeing what I own. They showed up earlier than expected upon my request and we were able to load up a 5 bedroom house in under 5 hours! They communicated the whole way down to Missouri and even were able to get me weight tickets upon request because I was being reimbursed for my move. Matt and Cody showed up at my new address and unloaded a 5 bedroom house in under 2 hours! All of my furniture was in good shape and they were very open to any damage and even informed me if they found any scratches or damage, but most were small things that I didn't even notice. They took very good care of my things using straps and moving blankets to prevent rubbing. They were very professional and even refused free pizza because "They were on the clock" as Cody said. He said they would eat after the job was complete and they wouldn't waste any of our time. That is something that is hard to find these days with many people whom love to milk the clock! I thought this was a great company and with the 3 bids I received they were well below the others! I highly recommend!

We were very impressed with Midwest Moving Company. The communication was excellent throughout. They were on time, called to let us know they were on their way, and worked well together. There were 4 men: 1 in the truck, 1 outside the truck, and 2 inside (1 upstairs, 1 downstairs). It was a bitter cold day, with at least 3 feet of snow on the ground, yet they figured out how to get the truck parked at both houses and just went to work. Great to work with, will use again if we ever have to move anything!

The two young wrestlers were absolutely great in the move for my 94 year old father. They were careful not to ruin the furniture and so polite. They meant all business and I recommend they be recognized some way in front of the company. I mentioned in my text, I am a retired educator and administratior and worked with literally hundreds of educators and school boards members and I can spot good people a long ways away. The two wrestlers were just such people.

We used Midwest Moving twice in one month, first to move family members from a home to an assisted living apartment; later to clean out the house of items that didn't fit in the apartment. Both times, the workers were friendly and, although both times we were the last move of the day on the last day of the week, they stayed cheerful throughout. They had to be exhausted! I didn't get the names of the movers the first time, but the second time we had Manny, David and Joe. Great job both times! Would use them again in a heartbeat!

Great place all around, extremely helpful. The staff over the phone took inventory of my belongings very thoroughly, to ensure my QUOTE was dead on! Nothing was broken, amd everything arrived on time. One thing i always worry about with moving is what kind of people will be in my house, handling my things, and in contact with my family and friends at my residence. Hiring Midwest Moving Company was the right decision from the start. We had an interstate move and the value we received was fantastic. Fair pricing for an entire 26' foot truck going 1,000 miles. The loaders and un-loaders were friendly, courteous, and professional. If you don't want to have a 10 day window for load and a 10 day window for unload, these are your guys. We're extremely courteous the entire time and took the extra care to make sure all of my things were treated with the utmost care. Overall experience was okay. They guys were helpful, but we did a significant amount of lifting and moving work ourselves as well. One guy didn't show up on time. The guy that did show up wanted to wait to start until he had a second guy but still wanted to charge for the time he was waiting. Once both guys were there, they didn't move very fast, but they did help get the job done.

My daughter was moving from a third floor apartment to another third floor apartment in the middle of July. Two MSUM wrestlers came and were extremely friendly and worked very hard and fast. They did not complain and even brushed it off when I told them the elevator wasn’t working in the new apartment. The price for the move was so reasonable. I would recommend Midwest Moving hands down. Great people to work with, moved from Fargo out of the fourth floor of an apartment, into another apartment in Minneapolis. Through all the hallways, doorways, and elevators, there was not a scratch to be found. The guys were able to lift everything with ease. They even talked to me the whole time and we got to know each other pretty well through the whole process. They promised me a gift card in the mail for leaving a review, and I just received a 25 dollar subway card for it. If I could leave more than 5 stars, I would. I would recommend these movers to any of my friends and family.
