How many people can say that their moving experience was was stress free and a pleasure? WE CAN! Gamecock Moving was amazing from the initial visit to estimate our cost through the last day when all had been delivered to our new home. They communicated clearly throughout the moving process and there were no untoward surprises. Our move required a 2 day move and our crew consisted of 4 terrific hardworking young men. Such a great, trustworthy company to move with! Today I had the pleasure of moving with Kaleb T, Judson H, and James M. They were all super friendly, hardworking guys, and I cannot recommend them enough. Moving is always stressful, but these guys made the process so much easier. They were on time, and got right to work. All furniture was wrapped nicely and handled with care. As it being my first experience with a moving company, I’m grateful I got to work with this group of guys. They were so easy to talk to, and just kind people :) A very efficient, smooth move. This was my first time hiring movers and I was extremely nervous. I hired Gamecock Moving for "labor only service", meaning they simply moved my belongings from the apartment into a U-Haul. Andrew, Jeremiah, and Nick were so professional and moved everything quickly and efficiently. None of my furniture was damaged and they packed the truck perfectly. They were all friendly and seemed to enjoy working together. I am very happy with their work and would recommend their services to anyone!

These guys rock!!! We have used Gamecock Movers several times for ourselves and family members. We are real estate agents and don't think twice in recommending them. The only issue we had this move was the rain and the truck leaked. This was not the guys that were working fault, but ownership. I highly recommend this company for all of your moving needs. They were early, padded and shrink wrapped all of our furniture, and gave us the "red carpet special" to prevent any damage to our floors. I have moved 4-5 times in the past with the assistance of moving companies. Not a SINGLE one of those experiences was ever a pleasant one until today, with Gamecock Moving. Mike and Hudson were professional, friendly, accommodating, efficient, and conscientious throughout the entire process. I can't say there was a single moment I wasn't completely comfortable with them handling my furniture. My husband was also very pleasantly surprised with the quality of their services. This entire experience was 5 star from beginning to end. When calling to get a quote the gentleman on the phone was pleasant, informative, and patient. I didn’t even bother calling other companies for quotes, I booked immediately. On moving day Michael and Andrew were right on time! They were both so nice and went straight to work. *also important for the ladies out there- I felt completely comfortable being alone in my home with both of them* They wrapped up everything for safety and made the move look like a breeze. We quickly moved on to the storage unit where they again, got straight to work and unloaded and organized everything neatly and efficiently into the unit. Michael and Andrew were very pleasant to work with while also remaining professional! 10/10 recommend for your moves and will absolutely use in the future! Also the 10% discount for prisma employees was a nice added bonus !

Gamecock Movers were highly recommended to us for our across town move. Promptly at 9 a.m, Kaleb T.,Matthew E.,Cameron P. Sam B., and Kelton S., showed up at our door. We have moved numerous times throughout our Military moves, and these young men were the most outstanding! Owning several pieces of furniture of personal and monetary value, we had NO damage whatsoever. Everything was wrapped and treated with great care. On a high note, their demeanor was purely professional and upbeat the entire time as they worked from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. packing, loading, and then unloading at our destination. They were friendly, respectful, and obviously enjoyed their work. I highly recommend this team of young men and would use them again in a heart beat!

11/10 recommend Gamecock Moving! I was dreading moving day until Mike, Blake, and Jackson showed up to my house (early). They were friendly, efficient, and professional. They got right to work as soon as they arrived, paid attention to detail, and made the day SO smooth. They picked up from two locations, disassembled two beds and put them back together, tried every way possible to get a couch into a frog (even tried taking the door off the hinges and then back on), helped me decide how a bed would fit best in a room, and were done in just over 2 hours. Arrived on time and finished the project as intended. Unfortunately I cant hire them again (Moving far away) but you should defenetely consider hiring them for you move.

I've used Gamecock Moving twice in the last two years - once from apartment to apartment, and recently from apartment to house - and both times they were fantastic. They communicate so well from beginning to end, including letting you know their ETA at your location! They move quickly, carefully, and they handle all of your personal belongings as they would handle their own. Additionally, they are very reasonably priced. Definitely would recommend for moving out of dorms & apartments for students, as well as house moves!

Since I moved down to Lexington South Carolina, I have moved six times. This by far has been the easiest move that I've made so far. Gamecock moving, without a doubt is the best moving company in South Carolina! I can't express enough how professional and responsive they have been and then my move went absolutely perfect. I used Gamecock Moving to move items from my home to a storage unit. Kaleb, Kevin, Steven and Brandon did a great job. They somehow magically fit all the junk I'd accumulated over 8 years in this house into one truck and then a storage unit. They were professional, quick but thorough, and seemed like they were having a good time even when moving things like my heavy antique piano. Pricing was reasonable. I had been looking all over Columbia and Lexington for a moving company before I finally found Gamecock Moving. Their prices are well below the competition and the work I received was phenomenal. I had originally booked another moving company months ago. They ended up ghosting me the week before my move only to end up telling me the day before that they didn’t have a contract for me. In a panic, I called Gamecock moving and they happened to have a cancellation for the next day (same day I needed) They were even nice enough to hold the spot for me while I got ahold of my mom- who was going to be paying for the move! Mike, David, and Harris helped me move earlier today and they were AMAZING! Super nice, showed up about 20-30 mins early, and all 3 made sure to go over everything with me before they started moving anything. They made sure to keep me up to date on what they needed, couldn’t do, and even helped place things in the correct rooms at the new place I was moving into. The price even ended up being under the estimate! I have never used professional movers before this but if I do again, I will be sure to call Gamecock movers!!

I called these guys last week after a friend recommended them. Not only was the pricing more reasonable than other local movers, but they were able to fit me in on short notice (which I greatly appreciated) being a single parent with no one else really to help do the heavy lifting. Desmond and Blake did an amazing job. They were quick, efficient, and hauled my belongings up to a 3rd floor apartment without a single gripe or complaint and it was 86 degrees outside. They were friendly, personable and went above and beyond to help me out, and even assembled a TV stand. I would definitely recommend them, I will be using them again in the very near future.

Our family had a fantastic experience with Gamecock Moving! We had a VERY local move (the new house being less than a mile away from the old house), and they were the only moving company that was willing to send out one truck that would make multiple trips. Other companies said the only option was to have two trucks. Because of that flexibility, Gamecock Moving's price was almost half of what the other companies quoted. In fact, their pricing was so competitive that they would still have been cheaper than the other places, even if we had requested two trucks. Most importantly, the Gamecock Moving staff and crew were uniformly helpful, courteous, careful, and hardworking. Nothing was damaged; they worked quickly and efficiently. The guys were polite well-mannered. Moved fast. Reasonably priced. However, our TV cords that were attached to the TV and together didn't make it to the new home. I called, texted to no avail. When they finally decided to respond their answer was they would ask the two drivers and get right back to me it's now been 5 days still no resolution. The buck was passed around. I checked with multiple moving companies before and Gamecock Moving was one of the most affordable around. They even offer military discounts and student discounts! Joe and Steven were my movers. I had a few pieces of heavy furniture, some mirrors, and a bedroom set + a few miscellaneous things like my push mower. These guys finished their previous job early and asked if my schedule would allow them to start my move earlier and showed up exactly when Joe said they would. Timer started once I signed some documents. Then they got straight to work. Steven and Joe seriously knocked it out the park and finished moving my stuff out in under an hour while making sure everything was wrapped in protective film and blankets. Moving into the new Hal said it'll walk through with me so I could tell them where things needed to go. They were delicate yet quick still! They had to move some heavy awkward sized stuff and did it professionally. They were nothing put polite, quick, and delicate. If I'm moving again I would love for them to help again. I reached out to Gamecock Moving for a quote on a move across town - mostly because beer and pizza doesn't appeal to my friends anymore like it used to. The manager, Zach, reached back out to me within a few hours with a very no-pressure offer and just introduced himself as a point of contact. I looked around a little, but ultimately reached back out to Zach and was easily able to arrange a day and time for my move. And I'm so glad I did. The day of the move, Evan, Montay and Pierce arrived right when expected and, after taking care of the paperwork and a quick walk-through, they got to work. It only took a little over two hours for the three of them to completely empty my apartment, drive across town, and unload everything exactly where I wanted it. I was floored. And despite the speed, they took excellent care of my furniture and belongings. I really appreciated how much they valued both my belongings and my time, as they asked before reassembling certain pieces of furniture in case I had wanted to do it myself. I am still incredibly impressed that they were able to make my move so quick and effortless - my final bill was even less than what I'd been quoted, which was just the topper on a great experience. We used Gamecock Moving for both packing and moving. Overall, they were all very professional and were punctual both days, which was greatly appreciated. Of the two services, the packing was the more disappointing. The crew was friendly and worked quickly but there were issues. There were a fair number of items that were left unpacked scattered through our home and a couple of drawers that were missed completely. A china cabinet draw was missed and the cabinet ended up being moved without the fragiles inside being packed or protected. Thankfully, and luckily, nothing broke. The boxes they packed were sometimes packed fully and sometimes had just a couple of items in them. The boxes were poorly labeled, which caused some hiccups on moving day. Overall, I'd give the packing service 3-stars. The movers were fantastic. Very friendly and professional and worked quickly and carefully, as can be attested by the unbroken china. They helped finish what the packers missed and tried their best to right any mistakes. If there was any negative, it's by the end of the long day they were tired and seemed to "just get things in the house" and a fair number of boxes and a couple pieces of furniture ended up in wrong places. But it was a minor inconvenience. Overall, I'd give the moving service 5- stars. Average it out, I give it a 4-star. I would use them again for sure, their prices are service are good to excellent. If we used the packing service again, I'd just be more watchful.

I was so impressed with the guys from Gamecock Moving. We were scheduling our movers last minute due to a quick approval to close on our new home in Lexington, SC. All of our belongings were already stored in storage units in downtown Columbia - and we needed a team to helps us move it from there to the new place - including a small upright piano. We had moved all of our belongings into a truck and drove from KY to SC ourselves, and we were not thrilled at the thought of doing it again. Evan from Gamecock moving gave us a quote over the phone, with another estimate on site the day of moving. They came in under the other phone quotes AND would move the piano for just a nominal extra fee. Evan, Mitchell, and Daniel were AWESOME. They showed up right on time first thing in the morning. They came prepared with extra boxes, a broom, straps, and furniture pads - everything! All three guys were very polite and energetic. They had the truck loaded, moved, and unpacked in our new home for us in under 4 hours. It was amazing! They were so careful with every piece of furniture and brought it into the house to its correct room for us. I was so thankful for them. Moving to a new state can be stressful, and having some assistance like these guys really made the day go smoothly.

Last Friday I used Gamecock Moving to move from Spartanburg to Columbia. I've never used movers before, and the only reason I used them is because I was able to have my moving expenses covered due to job relocation. If not, I would've done it all myself. But this time I broke down and got movers and will never go back to moving myself. The guys got to my place in Spartanburg around 8:45, which was earlier than my quoted time of 9. They got started right away and started to put my things and furniture in the truck. It took around an hour and a half to clean out my house. They were very professional and took care of our things. After they finished with the house, they packed up and we made our way to Columbia. They stopped for a quick lunch, and made it to the new house very quickly after lunch. They unloaded and placed everything we had in the spots we wanted, and were also very quick during this process. They finished up around two, and had me sign the paperwork and were out of there. Came out to about $1000ish. Even if I had paid them myself, I feel like I would've gotten my money's worth and then some. I can't recommend these guys enough. I got Dom, Billy, Brayden, Will, and Parker, and all of them were very friendly, professional, and hard working. Thanks again guys, and if you're thinking about using Gamecock Moving for your move, don't hesitate. Saved me a ton of time and effort on my part.

They were prompt in making an appointment with us and they were willing to try to get us movers the same day (we declined because we dinner arrangements). We made an appointment for 9:00 am on Tuesday. Parker was the first to arrive 15 minutes early and we quickly finished up the paperwork and Mitchell showed up at nine and together they made relatively short work of the trailer. I felt bad as the people I hired to load the trailer to say the least didn't do a good job of packing it. Parker and Mitchell had to play Jenga to unload it and hope everything didn't crash down on them. They were friendly, courteous, and hard-working. I would definitely recommend them to any one who is moving.

Gamecock Moving has never disappointed us - Kaleb T and Steven showed up right on time and ready to work- they never stopped until the move was done. All the furniture was wrapped and carefully loaded along with a ton of boxes and then unloaded at the new house.
