My experience with Zippy Shell-Birmingham was good contrary to my experience with the main branch Zippy Shell: Portable Storage Units & Moving Company. After several delays from the main branch, the team at Zippy Shell-Birmingham was eager to compensate for the lost time, the personnel specially Michelle was very friendly, efficient, and understanding. If you are moving within Alabama give Zippy Shell-Birmingham a try. However I do not recommend the main branch of Zippy Shell for out-of-state moving.

Zippy Shell was amazing and the perfect choice for our move. Their customer service was fantastic and reliable. We had over vendors let us down during our move so it was very refreshing to have Zippy shell show up when they said they would and completely take care of everything! We will definitely be using them again!

Jarrod provided great customer service in all aspects of our storage needs. I my opinion Zippy Shell of Birmingham is the best value for storage needs. We moved out of state got almost a year and had our zippy shell delivered to our new residence upon our return. The entire process was smooth...was able to sign contracts, ect online which saved me time, and billed via auto-pay which makes it easy also. The next time we need storage services we will definitely use Zippy Shell again.

We recently used Zippy Shell and absolutely loved their service! We were able to store all of our belongings from our old house temporarily while we were waiting on renovations to our new home to be completed. It was so nice (and convenient) to have them drop the container off at our old house to load and then deliver it to our new house when we were ready to unpack. Jarrod was so friendly and was able to accommodate all of our needs. Thanks Zippy Shell!

In our recent moved, we decided to use Zippy Shell to store part of our household items. Since we were not able to move directly from one home to another, Zippy Shell was the perfect solution. Not only did they work with our schedule on both ends of the move but, Jarrod personally handled the delivery each time. Recently relocated to Birmingham, AL from New Jersey. Bought a house but had to wait till closing. At the last minute closing was moved a week ahead and Zippy Shell of Birmingham was very accommodating. They also gave me a discount since I am a service member and continually thanked me for my service. My husband and I had the pleasure of using with Zippy Shell during our big move last Christmas, 2012. We were juggling the demands of trying to sell our old home, two careers, and a young child, and Zippy Shell couldn't have made it easier for us. The owner was a great communicator, always responding quickly to any inquiries, and they responded in a very timely manner, always arriving when they were expected to drop off and pick up the shell. The owner was also very instructive and helpful in explaining how the shell worked and certain do's and don'ts, like being to put a pad or towel down on the ramp in the event of rain (for safety). I thought the price was very fair. Also, I didn't worry at all about the security of my valuables as we were able to put our own lock on the shell before they picked it up for storage. I will definitely use Zippy Shell again if I ever have to move again (which I hope I don't!), and I will also recommend it to any friend.

Great service! Jarrod was friendly and prompt in answering emails and phone calls. Delivery and pick up were right on time. Great pricing. The main thing I like about the Zippy Shell over all of the other storage solutions is the fact that it is a wire cage! I was able to zip-tie ladders to the ceiling rather than have them take up awkward space on the floor or against the wall. Won't use anyone else.

Jarrod is great. I got two shells and a regular storage unit (from somewhere else) for some short term storage and a move. I wish I had gotten a third shell instead of the storage unit. It is great loading and unloading your stuff from your door and not having to drive all over to put your things in storage. Jarrod has always been there when he said he was going to be. I will use him again if and when I ever need storage again.

Let me tell you, when it comes to customer service and logistics managment this place can not be beat. Katrina coordinated our (complicated) zippyshell logistics perfectly, and the recoordnated it again when we had a change in plans. I never had a bit of trouble reaching the company about anything. The price is more than worth the experience.
