Titus, Q, and John were great! I had a fairly large delivery of building materials I had been storing with MyPorter, and they worked quickly and stacked it all neatly. We had to pick up some stuff from a storage location, and had some trouble finding the right place to pick up but they were very patient and understanding throughout the process. While moving, they were very careful with furniture and made sure that there was no damage to the house or the furniture, everything looked picture perfect!

They were extremely helpful in taking care of packing and securing all our belongings. I'm glad to say there was nothing damaged or missing. After interviewing several companies, I selected My Porter for my move! I am so glad did! It was a big move, of both my home and office. 3) 26 foot trucks, 8 guys long long day. And before that, 8 hours of a team of 4 packing and prep and today a team of 3 to finish key unpacking and setup. They were all wonderful men and one delightful lady! They were respectful, and careful in all ways. They worked together as a great team. And they performed a few unbelievable feats to get some large pieces up and down the 3 story houses - out and it. I will highly recommend them and each one of the team member and my porter to anyone.

MyPorter movers were the best. We got 3 quotes for movers and they were the most reasonable by far. They sent 4 movers with 2 trucks (I assume just in case...we didn't need 2 trucks), they arrived on time, were very friendly, got straight to work, wrapped everything and moved it carefully. They were efficient and careful and had our townhouse moved to our new house in exactly 4 hours. They were even careful to place furniture exactly where we wanted it in the new house. They were amazing and we definitely recommend them!!

Fred and the rest of his 4-man crew were awesome! I’ve moved a lot - 5 times in the last two years - and I can honestly say, this has been the best moving service yet. They arrived on time, handled my products with care and were very accommodating. They took me from one house to the next - moving a three bedroom home in about 5.5 hours (and because I was waiting on paperwork they had to wait on me for about an hour) price was reasonable, supplied all of their own wraps, hand trucks and straps. And, offered to unload my car that I’d packed as well. Highly recommend this company and crew.

There are several phases to my experience with this service. 1. They provided packing prior to my move. The porters were excellent. Very polite and hardworking. They did a wonderful job packing my kitchenware , art work, TVs and computer monitors. I would rate this service A+. 2. The next phase was moving the boxes an furniture out of my house into storage. The large crew worked diligently and efficiently on the day of my move. Again porters were polite and professional. There was some minor damage to my townhouse but the company offered to repair or compensate me ( which was very nice). 3. The final phase of getting my items out of storage & into my new home experienced some hiccups but the company did a great job in addressing these problems to my satisfaction.

I was shocked at the level of care they took in wrapping my furniture and carefully moving it out of the house. The rates are low and so worth it for avoiding the hassle of moving and storage. Crew members were polite and professional, and the service was delivered in a very efficient, timely manner. However, I noticed that there were several damages to my media console (though it's not too obvious) and some minor dings on my other furniture after the fact.. but I guess that's to be expected from moving and what I get for not applying for insurance. Also, their website states that they operate until 3pm on Sat/Sundays, but I guess they stop answering calls from 2:30pm on Saturdays, and they're actually closed on Sundays (auto answering system led directly to voicemail). Don't bother leaving voice messages because they won't return your call. Once I was able to reach them though, updating my moving detail was a breeze despite it being last minute. All that to say, they were affordable, so I'd use them again when the time comes. Hopefully, they'll handle my furniture with more care next time.

I cannot say enough good things about MyPorter. I had an awkward move due to buying and selling houses in one week. I had to store almost everything for three weeks have them come back and pick up the remaining items and move it all to a townhouse with a ton of stairs. Have to say a couple actually sang while they hauled over a 100 boxes and furniture that was truly heavy. Then, Tate came out again to pick up my fridge that at first we couldn’t get out of the kitchen until the doors came off.... Moving is never easy and definitely not cheap when you store stuff as well, but they helped me out and made some concessions even though it was pretty much an emergency move! The pick up guys were great and the delivery guys were great. Tate, you simply rock....Fred O Cigar and Kamar. Just kept hauling things all day. I have forgotten several names and i apologize for that guys!!! Jennifer sorted out a couple issues quickly and with patience Great Job everyone and Thank you!!!

Great moving experience today!! We were very happy with the professionalism and positive attitudes of our moving crew. I liked how the app updated me on their arrival, plus they called to give us a heads up. They worked so well together and were very efficient, conscientious and responsible. Each crew member introduced himself and were respectful of our home and our family. Thomas explained the process to me and we went over the plan with multiple members of the team. Five stars! I found MyPorter through a google search after being displeased with the POD's prices, unpleasant customer services, and lack fo help with actual moving. I'm so glad I found MyPorter! This was excellent. Brandon and Myles arrived to assist me with moving. They were both courteous, professional, effective, and just pleasant. They moved my one bedroom out in about a half hour, which included taking inventory and wrapping up all of my furniture. There were absolutely no issues. It was such a relief to have them help. I hope I get them again when I move my belongings out of storage. MyPorter was so affordable, and the price was more than worth the stress it saved me. I also loved their customer service as I had to make a last minute change to my moving time. They're combined offer for both storage and moving made my life so much easier since I'm traveling for about two months. I would recommend them to anyone.

Malcom Brandon and Fred were great. They were fast and did not scuff or scratch any furniture/ walls and were very friendly. I only did 4 stars because I was disappointed that they were not able to get my fridge in due to its size so I will have to call someone from Sears to come and take the doors off to get it in because my porter does not allow them to do this due to liability issues. So maybe at some point my porter will offer this service as well but barring that the guys did a great job!

Best Solution For Shopping Till You Drop! I found the perfect furniture for my home office at 70% off! The only problem was, due to my recent move, the room that was to become my office was filled with unopened boxes, lamps, unpacked suitcases - you get the picture. So do I pass on the bargain of a lifetime from an amazing furniture store? Or do I hurry and clean up my home office in two days? I did neither! Thankfully, standing in the middle of the store, I remembered a commercial from 92.9 The Game for My Porter. They met me at the store, inventoried and loaded all my items and now I have time to open boxes and clean up properly before having my items delivered. I love My Porter! They were fast, friendly, professional and I didn't have to miss out on furnishing my amazing new home office! Thank you, thank you!

Second time using MyPorter and the movers/storage guys were just as great! Shout out to Kamar and Zuhri who made a stressful move a lot easier - they were very professional and make sure to handle my furniture with care while simultaneously moving at a quick pace. Would have given 5 star but I noticed later that a small qbed was reassembled incorrectly and scuff mark was left on my wood. Scuff should come out so not major, major deal. Overall, I would use them again but watch more carefully. Great customer service!

My first was not great, my things were damaged, but I contacted the office while the movers were still there and spoke with Robert Crump who was even more upset by it than I was. He worked quickly to make sure all was made right and so I gave them a second chance. This time I had Khiry and Tavares moving me and they were fabulous. They were extremely careful with all my belongings, wrapped and double-wrapped all my furniture and were so careful moving it in and out to ensure nothing was damaged (not my things or the the walls of either place). The "Good" 1) The price is excellent if you sign on as a storage customer because you're not paying an hourly rate. 2) The crew (David, Chris, Jamrio) were both friendly and professional. The "Not so Good" 1) The only thing lacking was the moving expertise. Both times they came out to pack up and deliver my furniture they didn't have tools to dissasemble or reassemble the furniture. We had to wait for someone to bring tools and they still weren't able to reassemble everything. 2) I also had a couple of items damaged and 1 item that was left in the warehouse. I will post an update on how they resolved both issues shortly. Overall the crew and myporter provided decent service.

I can't say enough positive things about MyPorter, they scheduled me with very short notice, and I learned later after all my items were on the truck that 2 of 3 gentlemen were apart of the actual management staff. They were aware of my immediate needs and although the team that would normally be used, were booked for another job they stood by the commitment and my one day notice request and part of the management team came to see it through. They were on time, courteous, time efficient, and handled my items with extreme care. The parter called prior to their arrival, the team called 30 minutes out, and afterwards I received a call and text to be sure I was pleased with the service. Great price, scheduling was easy, able to communicate via text. All three movers Jyquan and Montrel, I forget the third guy but they were all professional, polite and quick! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to move! Unfortunately I had to come back to change my 5 stars to a three because although the movers were good, there was a piece broken by the storage staff and I have yet to have this resolved and it’s been since 8/19. My main issue is that I have to constantly call them for an update, no one follows up with me. Set real expectations about how long your process takes, don’t tell customers 7-14 days. And then be mad a me because I am asking for an update beyond this time period, and reference the hundreds of other customers you have to do this for. You’re carelessness and lack of communication is not my responsibility.

TOTALLY MOVED OUT IN 3 HOURS! I was a little nervous about booking another moving service after a bad experience with another company, but after hearing about MyPorter on 92.9 The Game I decided to give it a shot. As promised, I got a call when they were about 30 minutes away and Nick, Davey, and David showed up when they said they would. Amazing!!!!!! I happened upon MyPorter in a google search for companies similar to Pods. When I researched the company I was a little hesitant, because I had never heard of the company and my area was not listed in their service area. I fired off an email and within 24 hours I got a response answering all my questions in detail, which had me extremely excited about this company from the start; Plus they said they serviced my area. The customer service representative (and I regret I did not write down his name) called me was polite and patient answering all of my questions, provided me several options and explained to me in detail how my pick up would occur. i received my quote, and lets face it these are really good prices for all they claimed they were going to do so I kept expecting for something to go wrong, something that I missed, or something they conveniently forgot to tell me. During the week, of course I had more question and using email and the online chat the CSR still patiently and politely answered all my question and provided me with all the information I needed. My pick-up was excellent. First, let me give kudos to my porters: Marlon, Tate, and Quinton, these gentlemen where so polite, timely, considerate, patient, organized, and overall did an excellent job. I'm sure all of their porters are great, but if you happen to get these guys rest assured your going to have a great experience! They were not rushing through the pick up, they were extremely careful with my belongings, and they were so nice and respectful. When they finished, they reviewed everything they packed and I was waiting for the quote to change or something to go wrong --nope! There were no tricks, no hidden fees, everything was very transparent. I was so impressed by this company and have recommended them to several people already! If your reading this review and your on the fence or you have question please call and let them tell you about their service and all the amazing things they do for their customers. 05/04/19 I called in again to get some item picked up and added to my storage unit. This time I was in Covington, again in an area they did not cover. I spoke with Rob(I believe) who of course was extremely polite and told me the pick up would not be a problem and he was even able to squeeze me in on Saturday, which made my day. My porters this time were Walter and Stephen. They called me ahead of time to let me know they were In route, they were timely and courteous. Walter was a sweet heart, I thought I had a lot of stuff for him to move and he smiled and said this won’t take but a minute. They moved fast and still were careful with my belongings. Great customer service every time.

David and Rico delivered a precious hand carved chair to my home on time and in perfect condition. It is a precious piece of art that has been with the family for quite some time. You never know with some movers but they were true to their word as to when they would be at our house. Also we were putting a highly valued oversize chair in storage. They wrapped it in a blanket and taped the banked to that it would not fall off in transit.. Be aware that myporter doesn't allow you to retrieve your items by yourself or visit their warehouse, and they charge for delivery. I also suggest that you inventory and take pictures of all your items before they go into storage. The website SAYS that the company will do the inventory and take pictures of your items for you, but that didn't happen with our items. I'm glad we took our own photographic inventory before the items were originally picked up for storage. It made retrieving specific items from myporter much quicker and simpler.

The service is good but the prices are ridiculous. In addition to the monthly charge for storing your items, they also charge a $65 dollar delivery and pickup fee on top of a $60 gas fee each way. Once they reach you, they also charge an hourly fee but waive it for the first hour for students. If you’re a student looking for an affordable storage unit for the summer, I would definitely look at other options first. Make this a last resort, it is very costly.

UPDATE: Their director of operations reached out this afternoon to discuss my experience, after I filed a BBB complaint and disputed the charges with my credit card company. He had reviewed my file in detail and apologized for the things that had gone wrong that day and that it had taken the financial flag before he was made aware of the situation. I greatly appreciated him following up with me directly - he and I discussed my experience and were able to come to a resolution, and I hope that they will be able to put some better processes in place to escalate legitimate concerns before they get this far gone. I'm changing my review to three stars, due to the operations manager's follow up regarding my complaint, and because of Dallas, the mover who went above and beyond for us that day. ____________________________________________________________ I hired MyPorter to assist with moving my family from our condo to our new house. I provided MyPorter with a detailed list of items that would be moved from our 1,200sqft condo plus a 5ftx6ft storage space in the basement. Based on the overview I gave them, they provided me an estimate of 5-6hrs to move if I were to hire two men for the job. I opted instead to hire three, in hopes of staying as close to that original estimate as possible, or even under. The day of the move, they were supposed to arrive anytime between 10a-12p. They called at 7:41 on 11/17 to let me know they were getting loaded up and would be on their way shortly. They had not arrived by 11:41, then had not arrived so I called them. They said there were issues with the truck that they were trying to resolve and he would let me know as soon as they were on their way. I called back at 12:20 for an update, and they said they were waiting on their third guy to arrive. I then called their HQ to find out whether it was a truck issue or they were waiting on a third guy, since I was getting conflicting stories. They confirmed it was a truck issue and that someone would be there within the hour. The movers finally arrived at 3:30p, SIX hours after their original estimated arrival time. When they arrived, I noticed one of the movers, Mark, had an injured or broken hand, as it was extremely noticeably swollen. He was only able to assist with moving certain items. When I brought this up to Jennifer on 11/29, she acknowledged that he had been injured, but claimed that he was still able to help with single hand items, therefore it wasn’t an issue worth compensation. If I am paying for three movers, I expect those three movers to be at 100% ability - a mover working with an injured/broken hand to the point where he can’t fully do the job is absolutely unacceptable. It ended up taking the movers NINE HOURS to move a 1,200sqft condo, small storage space, and to pick up an appliance from another storage location (which they had been briefed on several days prior to the move as well). We have a one-year old daughter and had arranged for childcare, which we were unable to use since the movers arrived so late that day. With the movers taking such a long time to complete the move, we didn’t finish unloading the truck at the new house until 12:30am. Even after nine hours, the movers still left things behind, as not all of our stuff was able to fit into the truck they brought (despite my detailed estimate). They also dented the front of our refrigerator in the process of bringing it into the house. Overall, my biggest issues with this service is they sent me an injured worker who couldn’t work 100%, the job taking much longer than it realistically should have, and arriving six hours after the expected time. I followed up with Jennifer multiple times and they looked into the situation and didn’t believe this was ANY FAULT OF THEIR OWN, and therefore, not worth crediting any of the charges. Their operations manager was supposed to follow up with me on two separate occasions, and I never heard from him either time. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!

MyPorter is beyond awesome! They are so easy to work with. Within one day of going over our inventory with them on the phone they dropped off 25 storage bins at our house (the bins are no charge). I thought I would only need 15 but Nicole suggested 25 and she was absolutely right :) On my pick up day Quentin and Malcolm were on time, super courteous, thorough and just so friendly. They hauled out all of our stuff including some really heavy furniture and they did it all with a smile. Not only that, after they stored all of our belongings, Nicole emailed me to tell me they were able to use a smaller storage unit which decreased my anticipated monthly rental fee! To put it simply, they're lifesavers. You need to schedule a pickup by 12 pm the previous day, then itemize the materials they'll be picking up. It helps to be fully packed (or close to it) when you schedule a pickup. I, however, was not, but they still worked with me to figure out how large a space I needed. They called ahead on pickup day, came to my apartment on time, were super friendly, and worked very efficiently. I definitely recommend you bring your business here.

I used My Porter to move from Atlanta to Newnan and I can’t speak more highly of the guys who did my move! They were incredible. My move wasn’t an easy one: giant master bed with headboard and footboard plus electronics that had to be disassembled (and reassembled), an insanely large and heavy treadmill that had to go up and down stairs, a huge refrigerator that required taking the front door off my house. I had to relocate fairly quickly. My porter was able to accommodate me and my situation. The process was quick and easy. The movers that helped me were named Ya and Zuri. I highly recommend these two. Where I live, the design makes it almost impossible to move. Ny place is at one end and the elevator at a completely different end. There's a lot of walking involved. Ya and Zuri had no problem with this. They were polite, positive, professional and respectful and moved my things with care, although one item did retain a few scratches in the process, but it was partly due to the item being cheaply made. I definitely plan on using My Porter in the future and will chose Ya and Zuri for my move!
