I had a very expensive medical bed that was supposed to be delivered by another company. The truck didn't have 4x4 so he couldn't deliver the bed. He dropped it in my driveway and left. I panicked as inclimate weather was coming in. I called Union Transfer and Storage and talked with Jeremy. He miraculously pulled together a crew and then dispatched them within the hour. A crew of 4 showed up with a lift truck. They maneuvered the bed into the truck and got it to the house. They then put it on a flat bed dolly and wheeled the bed through the house. They unpackaged and set the bed up and took away the trash. This company went above and beyond and I am forever grateful. I highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you from me and my 92 year old Dad.

What a great moving experience! From the office staff to the crew of 4 that was sent to do this move, my experience with Unión Transfer was amazing! The very polite, hard working and strong young men that were assigned did a fabulous job!!! They took very good care of my furniture and all my belongings. In addition to being personable and very professional, they followed through on making sure everything was placed in the right location and to my satisfaction. If you have the need to hire a moving company, don’t hesitate or look for another referral, Union Transfer is your company, you will be very happy!

Dina and Tom and Dave packed our home with many good glass pieces. Wonderful job (well we will see when we come out of storage). Very friendly and worked quickly and efficiently. We have a lot of trust in their work! Dwight was our truck boss. He and Marcus, Jacob and Mitch were very friendly, and efficient. We also have a lot of trust in the care of our move into storage. They made my move so easy and effortless. All three movers were professional and hard working. They were fun too! I had tried a local moving company with poor results. One was almost 30 minutes late and they complained numerous times about moving my bed, going up steps and took longer to move less items. I will definitely call on Union Transfer again!

We originally chose Union Transfer because they are the sister company of the local GoMini franchise (whom we are also using). VERY glad we did! Communication as the move date approached was excellent and we always knew who to contact if there were questions or concerns. Jeremy did a great job estimating our belongings for the move and set up the move date and put us in contact with Diane who coordinated some boxes for us. On move in day, Justin, Elijah, Johnny, Jordan and Caleb were the muscle; but so much more! Responsible, alert, considerate, polite and strong! The first day was a very long day and the fatigue began to show a bit at the end, but they were unfailingly responsive to requests and with the great care they took with our furniture and boxes. They disassembled our two beds and re-assembled them at the new house; they moved my 48" 8 harness Macomber loom from the 2d floor of the old house to my new studio without breaking a sweat (and those things are heavy!) Day 2 was a bit lighter, but the same care was evident. We had a chance to fine-tune furniture placement and they helped with application of protective foot pads on furniture (new wood floors!) to lessen the chance of future scratches. We still have my husband's metal workshop to move and we plan to use these folks again because we know they will provide careful moving of our possessions. I unreservedly recommend these guys!

We could not be happier with the team at Union Transfer & Storage. When planning our move, Jeremy Austin, the coordinator, really thought about this complicated move (several apartments and several storage spaces) and suggested we divide the move into two days so it would be less stressful. Right there and then, I knew Union Transfer was for us. Jeremy sent a team of 4 terrific guys who worked together so perfectly, and got the move completed without a hitch. I would HIGHLY (and have already) recommend Union Transfer to anyone making a move in this area. In fact, I plan on using the team to deliver future large purchases to our house, rather than using an unknown 3rd party delivery team. Union Transfer & Storage is clearly the best in the Asheville area.

We needed a moving company for our Montreat College Asheville office move and selected Union Transfer for its value and also the "crates and skates" packing option. Jeremy Austin, Union Transfer's Relocation Specialist, walked us through what we needed, how long it would take, and the approximate cost. All of his projections were spot on at the completion of our move. Jeremy sent a wonderful team of movers who worked together to complete our move with efficiency. The "creates and skates" option was well worth the extra cost as we packaged and labeled all of our items in the crates and then loaded them on the skates for the move. Noel, the lead for the team, was also excellent at delegating and directing a very successful transition. Again, I would HIGHLY recommend Union Transfer to any business in the area making a move. Nice job Union Transfer!
