Everyone at Superman Moving and Storage, LLC has been exceptionally helpful and friendly. They did in about 11 hours on two different days what I know I could not have done. The scheduling/dispatch team and the sales/reception team are amazing! The packing/moving teams are experienced and efficient, as well as friendly. My moves have been local and I trust Superman Movers to do a great job. I highly recommend them. If a move out of Alaska is in the future, I will be hiring Superman Movers and recommend them for military moves when necessary.

I had booked the movers three days before I was set to get my keys. They were able to accommodate the move, and were transparent with their pricing. Darryl, Reonaldo, and Allen were the guys who moved my treadmill and boxes. They work together really well and their banter made for good entertainment. They hauled my treadmill and maneuvered it in tact. If you have a treadmill and 15 boxes of books, you should consider hiring out this team. They're great.

For my first big move, Superman was so reliable. They followed up with me to make sure they had everything correct with the items I needed taken and the addresses. I have to say when I called Superman moving I never anticipated to be helped in such short notice. They exceeded my needs. Called at approximately 9am and was helped by a lady that went above and beyond to get me booked and moved same day. By 12:00pm they were ready. The superman crew did a real good job, on time and quick. Crew was John, Jordan, and William. We had them move several heavy items in the house and garage and were efficient and careful. They arrived on time as scheduled and moved everything quickly and without damage.

I had to move household items and furniture from three locations in Anchorage to a common storage area. My wife and I packed and wrapped everything ourselves. The office person initially suggested it would take 3 individuals a full day. She did, however, listen to me when I suggested it would only take two individuals. The two guys that moved my stuff, Ronaldo and his partner (whose name I apologetically have forgotten) were fantastic! Friendly, efficient and professional. My only criticism is with the estimate and final bill - the estimate wasn't really an estimate at all as it did not identify any rates or estimate of costs. Still, I was required to sign the "estimate" before the move could go forward. The final bill was similarly bereft of detail- no total number of hours, just the remaining amount due which was automatically debited from my bank account. Due to the quality of the move itself, however, I give them 5 stars and would use them again in a heartbeat.

They picked our stuff up, stored it for 3 weeks, and then delivered it to our new home in the valley. The guys were professional, responsive, cordial, and very attentive to our needs. They did an awesome job and if I ever move again I will definitely use them!

I can't say enough about how great Superman Moving was. I hired them to disassemble a monstrosity sound booth of which the panels/walls each weigh at least 200 pounds. Christian, Dayton and Renaldo arrived and although they were told they would be moving a marble table, they all worked together to get the job done. Very professional and prompt. I definitely recommend them and would use them again if ever needed.

I moved my stuff from CA to Alaska. The movers were originally hired to unload a trailer that was to be in the driveway. The transportation company was unable to drop trailer in the driveway. It had to be taken to another house. They were able to pivot and unload into their truck and then take it to original home. We were so appreciative that they worked with us

Got the call from Clint. Super high energy. I do sales for our moving business so I really liked talking to this guy. He was looking for some good help unloading some of a 54 foot tractor coming into Austin from Alaska. I’ve done these unloads for other companies before and totally jerked around. These guys are legit. Grant was our driver. He was on time and super cool. Most of the time these can line drivers just stand around. But not grant. He was happy to assist in the heavy lifting. Super impressed with these guys. From one of the top moving markets in the WORLD in Austin Texas I think I speak from experience. These guys are the real deal. I’d recommend them to anybody in the Alaska area of anywhere in the US. They go antwfeee. Thanks Supermen.

I purchased a large item at a local box store and hired Superman to pick it up and deliver to my home. Confusion at the box store occurred and an incorrect item was given to Superman to deliver to me. It was not discovered by me until the next day. Once I notified Superman of the issue, they immediately rescheduled the pickup with the box store for the correct item and delivered it to me the same day. The guys were very professional and nice. They carried both of the large items both times up my steep slick driveway and into my backyard through deep snow and moose poop. They arranged the boxes so I could easily open them since they were monsters. They were great. Thank you to Anya also. I really appreciated her excellent customer service skills scheduling and then rescheduling so quickly. I will definitely use them again.

Superman Moving made my life so much easier! I have a ton of things going on at the time, so it was great to have them just come on in and put everything in their truck. They were fast and efficient, and they went above and beyond, packing things that were in their vicinity. I had 3 guys help me move, and they walked me through everything. They even reminded me (more than once) that I can keep telling them to put things in different places if I didn't like where they were put in the first place. My experience with Superman moving company was amazing and would use them again in a heartbeat. This was my first experience using movers for a local move in Anchorage. After calling around for quotes, not only did Superman movers give me the best rate but they responded well before any other company. I was able to complete everything over the phone in less than 30 minutes. On moving day, Daniel and RJ were great! They moved everything (heavy furniture up 3 flights of stairs) in half the time that other companies had quoted. They also did it while being a lot of fun despite it being well below zero outside! I can't say enough good things about my experience and again, without question would use them in the future! Thanks guys!

Set up to have 4 on team. Started out a little slow with only 2 showing but once the others arrived, they got down to business and with the wife helping guide them, did a great job handling and loading. Once at new place they expeditiously offloaded and no dings in the newly dry walled corners in the hall which was awesome! Overall great job by the crew (John/William/Ivan/Timaio). Thank you.

This was the best use of my time and money EVER. I had an emergency situation and had to move out on short notice. I wasn't completely done packing yet and I was able to get SuperMan to my house the very next morning after I realized I had to move. Ok. So this was the 1st time that I spent money on a moving company. I had to move from a 2nd floor apartment with at least 6 flights of stairs and my legs didnt want to do it this time around. I got 2 guys and 1 truck and when they arrived there were 3 guys and they whipped it out in no time. They were friendly. Once we got packed up it was all down hill from there. I had the luxury of having them back the truck up to the balcony and over the railing they came straight into the new apartment. They were like lightning unloading that stuff. Glad I used them. My total bill was under 600 and the move was about 3 hours long.

I had a very last minute request to transport several large items to two locations and the office staff were very helpful in getting me help ASAP. The movers were friendly and obviously knew what they were doing. When the items wouldn’t fit through any of the doors, they still found a solution and all the items were moved in a timely manner. There was a little billing mishap but one call with the great office staff had explained and fixed the issue. They are a bit pricey but I don’t know the prices of other companies, so these could just be the normal prices for moving services. I know I can trust Superman Moving to do a great job in a reasonable time so I would definitely use them again and recommend to others!

My family and I moved three times in six months in Anchorage. Both times we used Superman were superb. Both crews (6 different guys) were friendly, happy, and courteous. Another company backed out 1 week before our move. Superman showed up with 1 week notice, on time and very efficiently loaded our belongings. We received all items in Texas 18 days later. Unloading was fast and efficient. Workers calling out box numbers for me to check off. Would be five stars but some boxes were wet due a pouring rain and 1 item was damaged. Would I use Superman again—- in a heartbeat. Very responsive.

My husband and I had a short notice move from Peters Creek to Palmer and we contacted Superman Moving to help us out! From day one talking with Chad to talking with Chris at the consultation and then to talking with the lead on the move, Charles, the move was excellent!! We had to make a few changes but, there were no problems, handled like the pros that they are! We had packed most of our belongings ourselves to make the move proceed in a timely fashion and it did! Charles and his crew were outstanding with the handling of our belongings and antiques. Extra care and respect was very evident and we were very thankful for that! The crew worked very hard, but as an added bonus, were a very HAPPY bunch of men!!! They did not take any unnecessary breaks, which made the move proceed much faster!! I needed some steel beams delivered to my house on a hillside up a steep driveway. I had a telescoping fork lift to unload to materials. The Superman Mover driver not only helped unload but stuck around and helped move the beams up the driveway. I thought I would have to do the job myself but with their help I was able to get the materials they delivered were they needed to be much quicker. Service was excellent, they delivered when they said they would and the price was fair. I would recommend these folks to anyone.

I chose this company because of the reviews on google. I called to schedule help unloading our U-Haul when we arrived to Eagle River. Jose was awesome and professional. I told him our arrival date was an estimate because we were unsure how long the drive would take us. He said as long as there was a 24 hour notice we could change to a later date. When my husband arrived a day early after driving 12 hour days I called to see if they could come early, they were able to come the next morning! It only took them 3 1/2 hours For 3 guys to unload a 26 foot uhaul into the living room of my house (along the washer, dryer, and pellet stove down stairs). None of our things were damaged. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. The only disappointment I had was they charge for drive time at the same rate. I paid for almost an hour of drive time to And from Eagle River. I wish the drive time was charged at a lower rate, but even so I am happy with my experience and would recommend them.

I saved the heaviest, largest pieces of furniture for the moving company. Superman was easy to schedule even though I called just a few days beforehand. They scheduled two guys who showed up on time, worked consistently not taking a break. They were polite, cheerful, and made sure they took what I wanted and placed it where I wanted it placed. All together they made the move much less stressful than it could have been.

Several weeks ago my brother and i realized we needed movers to assist us in cleaning out my downtown condo. My brother was on a short time frame so we needed help right away. A neighbor recommended Superman. I had seen some advertising and had a generally favorable impression of the company in terms of professionalism and price so I gave them a call. From the very first contact with this company, we were very impressed. The day after that first call, an estimator arrived on time to look over the project and give an estimate. The moving crew arrived right on time the next day and got to work straight away. My brother dealt directly with the crew and reported to me they were each hard working and responsive to his instructions., Some of my items were to be hauled to the landfill while others were to be donated to Goodwill while others were to be shipped to my brother in Arkansas. I am happy to report everything was handled correctly. That was a major relief. In terms of price and professionalism, I do not believe Superman Moving can be beat in the Anchorage market. From beginning to end, our interaction with Superman was nothing but very positive. Without any reservation, I give my highest personal and professional recommendation to Superman for a job exceedingly well done. When you have the need, hire this company and rest assured you are in the right hands. .

So, like most people, I hate moving. But Superman Moving made this one a total breeze. I scheduled a week in advance, worried I didn't leave enough time-- not a problem at all. They gave me a reminder call the day before and kept in touch about arrival time on the actual day. The movers themselves were awesome!! They were very professional, careful and quick; we were done so quickly, I couldn't believe it! Also, the guys were careful with my belongings-- everything arrived safe and sound; they asked where I wanted each item and made sure to put it where I asked. Friendly and polite, too. Superman movers is an awesome company!! I've moved more times than I would like to admit but the best moving experience has been with Superman movers. They work hard, they are thorough and have never broken Even 1 item. I have used them in the past but recently I used them because my daughter had to move our household while I was out of town. She said it was the best move she ever had. She didn't know what to do because they did absolutely everything. She and Her children were able to eat dinner and go to bed early, rather than the all nighter she is accustomed to. The move took 6 hours and she didn't have to go back to the house for anything or put anything together at the new house. You guys really are Awesome!! Thank you!!!

I recently moved from Anchorage to Oregon. Superman packed up all my belongings and arranged to have them transported to Eugene, plus they made arrangements for a local moving company to bring everything into the house once the van arrived. The Superman crew was friendly and helpful, and completely professional, as well as managers Clint and Chris. Originally I had been told that my belongings would take 6-8 weeks to get to the destination, so I had the expectations that I would have to wait. Much to my delight, my stuff arrived within 2-1/2 weeks!! After unpacking everything, I see that 99.9% of my items arrived at my house intact, which I think is a pretty good percentage. My only complaint is there was some communication issues on setting up an appointment for the estimate. The estimator didn't arrive at all the day that I had scheduled, and then was late for the second appointment. But in the end, it turned out well and I'm happy with Superman's service. You're super duper, Superman!

All the Superman Moving staff I interacted with; from the dispatcher who took the reservation to the actual movers, were courteous and easy to work with...I had (4) separate addresses for them to retrieve and drop off furniture. They were prompt, professional and arrived at each location in a timely manner. It was good pricing for the move they performed. I have never hired movers before. I would hire Superman again in a heartbeat. The three men who showed up to unpack the Uhaul were professional, cheerful, competent, and strong. They did a refrigerator swap, and handled it perfectly. Most impressive, they moved a loom weighing almost 400 lb. to the loom room, exactly where I wanted it. The office staff was also helpful. I had to reschedule my unpacking date, and they were accommodating. I was called the day before my move and offered a later time if the early one was not satisfactory. I am now happily moved into my house thanks to the unloading prowess and organization of Superman Movers.

We have had a crazy ride moving out of Alaska and Jose, Chris and the entire Superman team have been exceptional!! The crew that came and prepared our items for transport were fantastic and thoroughly packaged every piece of furniture. The crew at the storage area have been courteous and keep us updated. The people in the front office were very easy to work with and the young lads that came to both the houses involved in moving my large piece (900 pounds) were very sincere, polite, got the job done and were very safe doing it. Superman Moving & Delivery is Anchorage's best kept secret and I want to share this with others who need a local company to come to their rescue! When I discovered that I could not afford to hire any of the large national moving companies that operate from Anchorage, I searched for a local moving company who offered packing, transporting and loading services. Not only that, Superman would help me load my household items into a shipping container that I secured through a different company in order to make my move affordable. I met with Bea, the moving manager at Superman, who provided an estimate, start date and end date to get my move initiated and completed. Bea also checked in with me by phone during the pack & move days to be sure all was going per plan. To me, that was additional affirmation that Superman is a client-centered business; that I had made a great decision in hiring them. Packers showed up on the first two days to get household items ready for the Movers. Shirzell was amazing. She knew what each piece required and worked quickly. Superman's strategy of packers first; movers next, allowed me to interact with the crews and to also be nearby as my household possessions were packed & moved. Superman sent an amazing crew of movers to finish the job. In two days, this polite, professional, swift moving, confident group of five moved my household items and also unloaded a 10x30 storage unit in less than two days. If there was any doubt about an item, or about what I wanted, the crew always asked for direction. I appreciated that; it also gave me confidence in Superman Moving. On the last day of loading, the shipping company delivered a container that was 6 feet shorter than ordered. San, the moving crew leader, stepped in when I began to falter. He assured me that his crew could pack household and storage unit belongings into the smaller container; and guess what? They did! This group of five loaded, packed, secured contents, and even help me put the lock on the shipping container before they drove away. I am more than grateful to Superman Moving for the affordable services they provided! I only rated 4 stars because I always think I should leave room for improvements. The 2 guys I had come do my moving were great, quick to get to it and friendly. My only disappointment was a phone call one guy received, I didn't know if it was business or friend phoning. My advice to new customers is to know exactly what you will be asking to have moved because they're going to ask when you setup your appointment, I didn't have everything ready when I made my appointment so it was hard to think I'd have so much in the end. They want to know exactly how many of each item (beds, couches, loveseats, end tables, boxes, pictures) Things I didn't consider when I was listing the items was mop/mop bucket, brooms, shovels etc.) They took them without hesitation because I didn't move the couch, loveseat and recliner like I listed when I made the appointment. Be sure to have your belongings ready to move, I did and the move went quick!

Due to the fact that I was moving from Alaska to the Lower 48, this was very stressful for me. They pulled off a miracle however due to their knowledge of packing moving containers and were able to get all of my goods in the moving container. First of all they showed up on time which surprised me. Guys were nice at the beginning but they started to ask me what I do and say with such a nice house I hope I get tipped good. Then I got to wasilla. I got a call and they stopped in Eagle river to do some other thing for a little bit and would receive a call when they get back on the clock for charging me. Never received a call they just showed up to my house.... then while moving stuff inside they damaged the walls and door frame of my bonus room. At the end of the whole moving process I was charged 1500 or eight hours. When I was quoted 1000 but the thing is they were gone at least 2 house so they only worked for me for 6 hours. I was told it would change my bill before they went on my credit but I check my credit card statement and I was charged 1500. The process of dealing with them now trying to get everything resolved doesn’t look good for me… Update —Spoke to the owner of Superman Movers his name is Chad great guy. Very reasonable and easy to talk to. We talked it over and we added up everything and he is crediting me $300 because I was only supposed to be charged for 6 1/2 hours at $200 an hour. Then he said let’s talk about the damage. (I really appreciate that he brought that up) Told him that I would fix the damage myself or pay someone and we both came to agreement will definitely use them again but would end up talking to Chad when I use them again.

Awesome experience in my move from Anchorage out to the Valley. Movers were extremely prompt in getting my furniture down to the (old) apartment's parking lot - during a light snowstorm and with snow/ice in the parking lot. On the 'flip' side, they were able to get the furniture into the new place in a short period of time... just had a few heavy pieces that I couldn't move myself - including a sectional oak pedestal bed ('captain's'-type with drawers) that needed to go upstairs in the new place. Great team. Nice, out-going guys. Well done! Friendly staff at the office, too! This was the first time that I'd been in a professional move since my father ETS'ed from the USAF - in 1963! I recently made a VERY foolish mistake of buying a stack washer and dryer at a thrift store without asking one single question about it. I contacted Superman Moving and Delivery and they assigned three men for the job. When they arrived they had to remove the old non-working set and install the one they delivered. They not only moved all of my furniture into the U-Haul, they stored it in the most efficient way in order to maximize storage space. The furniture was extremely heavy and awkward and had to be moved down about 20 steps. I was so impressed with how well they worked together and the care they took in moving my furniture, I requested they return days later (after the flooring contractor had his fun) to put back everything they had loaded into the U-Haul. Keeping in mind, this time they had to carry everything UP 20 steps, I watched and marveled at their individual as well as their team strength, professionalism, and compassion they gave to every article.
