The overall experience of shipping a vehicle was ok. Very helpful staff in Anchorage when I had any questions. Why not 5 stars? Well, in my opinion, you can send a registered letter across Country and track its status for a few dollars. So, you’d think you’d be able to track a 25k vintage car from Texas to Alaska? Never knew where my car was in the shipping process and if I hadn’t been a pest, I think it would still be setting in Kent, Washington.. If I ever ship another vehicle again, I’ll put my own tracking device on it.. The car eventually got to Anchorage without damage, so all the confusion was worth it in the end..

I have used them all they have a place in Washington as well and they even paid for my cab to the airport best place 💯 % they are the only ones I’ll ever use again the other places have you go directly to Matson in Seattle and you’ll be on your own getting out of there and lines can be long I dropped off my car at there place in Tacoma got on my flight and it was at there yard in anchorage very convenient and superior customer service thank you guys !!!

Good outfit. Shipped our SUV to Seattle, and then back to Anchorage seven weeks later. It actually arrived a week ahead of schedule going to Seattle. Not a nick of damage either way, and no items missing (bicycle, tools, clothes, outdoor gear, etc). Recommend.

I used a 3rd party booking company to schedule the transport of my car from San Diego to Alaska and they chose Alaska Auto Transport to get the vehicle from Washington to Alaska. I spoke a few times with Olga and Kathy regarding the logistics and timeline of the shipment and they both were incredibly helpful and friendly. The driver who delivered my car to me was also very kind and willing to work with me on meeting to obtain the car. All in all I'm really happy with the service and would recommend this company to anyone shipping a car to or from Alaska.

I was very impressed with this company. Car arrived from Seattle to Anchorage within the ETA. Car was in good condition when it came here in Anchorage. Being that the rate is fairly low compare to other shipping company, the service I got was outstanding. Make sure to read their policy to avoid extra charges. Glad I did and I was not charge extra when I pick up my car. I had about 200 pounds of personal stuff in the backseat. Alex was very informative and always respond to my emails or calls in the event that I have questions or concerns. Lastly, I was surprised with all the freebies I got when I pickup my car. Got a Key-chain, pen, a bar of chocolate and ice scrapers! If ever I decide to ship another car, I'll definitely use Alaska Auto Transport again.

These guys have shipped 5 cars for me from z06 corvettes to CTS-V Cadillacs. They come in quick, clean and in the same condition that I dropped them off in, not to mention their great pricing. I am looking at buying another car here soon and they will be the ones to ship it.

Excellent service. Jason was really helpful and nice to talk to. Gave me a reasonable quote. Everything my was done over phone and email. Got the car shipped from Seattle to Fairbanks, Alaska. They gave an estimate of 18-20 days, but the car got to me well before that. The driver who drove it from Anchorage kept in touch with me to know when I could pick it up and had it unloaded and ready to go before I got to the pick up point. I bought the car from a dealership in Seattle and there was no hassle involved in dropping off the car for shipping even with me not being present. Would highly recommend and use their service again.

Alaska Auto Transport did a phenomenal job of shipping my Audi Q7 from Seattle to Anchorage. It is important to note that they are different from, and much better than, Alaska Car Transport! Kathy took good care of us and gave us a fair price, she is a true Alaskan through and through. The drop-off location in Kent, WA is clean and the cars are stored in a warehouse for safe keeping. I will use them again the next time I need to ship a car.

We shipped our car from Kent, WA to Anchorage using Alaska Auto Transport this month. It was $1.5k to ship our crossover Subaru Forester. Using this company was an easy stress free experience. Olga and Doug were very helpful answering our initial questions. The drop off at the location in Kent, WA was quick and easy. Their storage facility looked very secure. We paid exactly what they quoted us, and our car arrived on time in 14 days within their estimated 10-14 day time frame. We recommend using this company and will use them if we need to ship a vehicle to Anchorage again.

I compared several shippers and the fact that we could include 250 lbs of items and we didn't have to get the car weighed before and after was a big convenience. Wonderful service! I had to ship my car from Anchorage to Denver. Delivery was estimated around 4 weeks (holiday season slowed things down a bit). I was communicated with throughout the entire process. I was called once my car had been shipped to WA, when it was put on a truck out of WA to CO, when it was approaching CO, and when it arrived in Denver the driver contacted me to set up a place to drop it off. Best part was that it arrived in 2.5 weeks! Very very happy with the service and communication of this company and their partners. Definitely recommend if you need auto transport!

I had never shipped a vehicle before so I really didn't know what to expect. I found Alaska Auto Transport at the top of a Google search and loved what I saw; Locally owned, great Anchorage and Seattle locations, lots of info on the website, and a promise that real people answer the phone when you call. Even though I had a good feeling about these guys, I still got quotes from about a dozen different companies. In my case Alaska Auto Transport was the cheapest! They are also the only company I found that didn't send two emails per day trying to get you to book after getting a quote. I gave them a call and set everything in motion and could not be happier with the experience! Incredibly nice staff in both Kent and Anchorage and I felt that they made the process very easy and enjoyed working with them. If I had to ship another vehicle to/from Alaska, I would absolutely use Alaska Auto Transport.

I shipped our 2013 SUV from Seattle to Anchorage. After making the mistake of requesting a shipping quote from some generic brokerage site, which passed my information to seemingly every shipper/broker from Florida to Washington State, I decided on Alaska Auto Transport after a simple Google search. I'm very pleased with the result. The booking, drop off and pick-up went flawlessly and all the people I dealt with were personable, yet professional. The cost was the cheapest of the dozen other quotes I received, the car arrived several days earlier than their estimate and the car arrived in exactly the condition it was in at drop off. I hope I never need to ship a car again between the lower 48 and Alaska, but if I did I would certainly call these guys.

My girlfriend and I just had two vehicles shipped up from Seattle to Anchorage with Alaska Auto Transport. The folks there made it very easy and seamless, and our vehicles arrived 10 days after they were scheduled to depart (they told us 10-14 days). They were very friendly over the phone and in person, and their quoted price was significantly less than other companies. Our vehicles arrived looking exactly the same as we left them. I have zero complaints, and would recommend this company to anyone looking to ship a vehicle between AK and the lower 48.

This is the BEST transport company if you are shipping your car from Alaska or to Alaska. Olga was awesome on the phone in coordinating the move. However, Anthony's customer service down in Kent was over the top! I was shipping a car from California to Kent with final destination to Alaska. The driver was late because of traffic and arrived at closing. Anthony stayed to make sure my car was inspected and checked in which took some time. He went above and beyond! Don't hesitate to use this company and I promise you won't be disappointed!!!

I had a great experience using Alaska Auto Transport to ship my vehicle and would highly recommend anyone else needing shipping services, consider using them. I shipped my vehicle from Seattle (Kent location) to Anchorage and my experience was awesome. I had called their Anchorage office location about a month before I needed my vehicle shipped and one of their office staff (Amanda) informed me of the protocols, expected timeframes, and quoted me a price. Very professional and friendly. They scheduled me a slot and all I had to do was make sure that I dropped off my vehicle at the Seattle location before 10am on the Monday of that week to ensure my vehicle made the shipment that same week. The Seattle location was also very professional and friendly. They put disposable seat, floor, and steering wheel protection over my vehicle interior so that during transport it would stay clean. They also put your vehicle on a vehicle shipper then drop it at the port where it goes inside of a connex throughout its journey so it's not exposed to the elements on the ship. When it arrived in Anchorage I got a call from Amanda that it was ready for pickup and I was able to pick it up same day as it arrived. Was in the exact condition I left it in Seattle. No Mark's or dings during transport. Took 14 days from when I dropped to when I was able to pickup, and that was in the middle of the July 4th holiday as well. Awesome experience when I was initially hesitant because I had never done something like this before and didnt know who the reputable companies in town were. Why I chose Alaska Auto Transport compared to the competition? 1. Longer business hours 7am - 5pm and open Sat. 2. Better reviewed online than any other shipping business out of Anchorage. 3. Cheaper prices than any other Anchorage shippers. (They also honor a military discount) 4. They let you store up to 250lbs of goods in your trunk without an additional charge like other shippers will do. 5. Great customer service who were responsive and knowledgeable with any questions I had. Great experience! Definitely use these guys!

We shipped two vehicles from the SeaTac area to Anchorage with Alaska Auto Transport and couldn't be happier. We paid a little extra to have one expedited but even the vehicle we shipped standard arrived a few days earlier than expected. Kathy was helpful, informative and professional. When we Googled car transport companies to Alaska, a company with a *very* similar name came up. Please read Yelp reviews, that company isn't based in Alaska ... do your research! Alaska Auto Transport is Alaska-based. Our cars had no damage, no extra mileage (except to load on the truck) and everyone we dealt with were professional. We'd use Alaska AUTO Transport again in a heartbeat if we had to go back to WA.

Randy and Kathy took great care of my classic Oldsmobiles from Boise to Anchorage in August 2015 and Kent, WA to ANC just this week. Would not use anyone else. Real folk with real values and ethics. Everyone please be aware there is another company called Alaska Car Transport, owned by someone in New York, not these wonderful people. Both times we have done business with them we end up hanging around until after closing time talking cars and life and whatnot. Good times. Meticulous pretransport inspection from trustworthy staff in Kent, vehicles delivered without a scratch in Anchorage, for a reasonable price. What more do you need. 5/5 would recommend!

I came to this company by mistake and it turned out to be a blessing. Extremely professional and patient people who work there. The broker i booked with sent me their address in kent and they ended up having to just ship through them which turned out to be great. This company has a warehouse that is secure so i know my truck and the belongings in the bed didnt get tampered with. They put my truck in a secure container while it was shipped up and they broke the seal when it arrived in Anchorage. I didnt have to deal with theives at the port or any of the port traffic just professional honest people. You get what you pay for so if you care aboht your car and belongings i highly recommend this company
