I bought a bike with Stephan’s help. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. There was no pressure in buying a bike it was more of come get on some bikes try them out see what’s comfortable for you. Not once did he asked me what what do you want to do are you thinking about buying. It was all me who made the decision to say well let’s just go ahead and give it try. An I just want to let him know that I appreciate that!! I also attended the riding academy the instructors were very pleasant although I don’t feel like they utilized our time in teaching there was 12 students so basically 6 to one instructor. Class was 8a-4p it started at 8a an was supposed to go to 4p but both days we where done by 12:30p. My expectations were that they would teach us 8a-1p the Saturday then we head back to the store for more classroom time. On testing day 8a - 12:30p is what we got and I thought on test out day at least we would run the bikes till 2p do the test in split but we where lined up to leave the lot by 12:45p. I so I feel disappointed as I found it to be overpriced and our time was cut short. I do believe the schools only charge like 249. I guess you win some you lose some so good luck to the next set hopefully they get their moneys worth.

We recently bought our 2017 Road Glide while working with Lorenzo. It was such a great buying experience and the bell ringing ceremony was one I will never forget!! We felt so welcomed by all the wonderful staff and Lorenzo was able to answer all of our questions. Update to review, 10/12/2022 I worked with Dean Rossing on a black 2022 Road Glide standard with RDRS and Boom Box head unit. Well worth the trip from Spring Valley MN to St.Paul even with the rain, working with Dean is an excellent experience. Roughly this time last year I met Dean with the original review below, never got that bike out of my head. Riding home on the Road Glide was ear to ear smiles the whole trip. I have big plans for this bike as a performance bagger, very impressed with the M8 engine compared to my Twin cam and Thunder Stroke 111 experience. Looking or even thinking of getting a new or used motorcycle look up Dean Rossing at St.Paul HD. The whole crew there is great as well, again friendly greetings throughout the dealership for a great experience! Original review- Up front I haven't purchased anything from them yet. I stopped in to browse while I waited for my bike to be repaired at a near by competitor. I was given a friendly greeting by I believe every employee from the clothing section to the bike showroom. Had a great conversation with sales person Dean R, talking bikes, trips you name it, just an easy flow conversation. I noticed a red and black Road Glide 2021 model. We went over that bike and they explained it in great detail. I was asked if I have ever ridden a Road Glide which I have not. They sent me off on a test ride, smart move as I am not an impulse buyer and I almost traded in my current bike to purchase it. Too emotionally attached to the current bike, though my visit to browse turned out to be a fantastic experience and when I decide to get another motorcycle I will be stopping in.

I' not one to write reviews but this was worth the write. Was looking for my first Harley (second bike) and decided to check out St. Paul Harley. Started to look on line and found one. Called them and asked for Sales. Dean answered and told him what i was looking for. Dean told me about the bike and said if your interested come on in to take a look at it. Liked what i saw but decided to think about it. Sure enough bike got sold that same day. Dean called and mentioned he could get same bike but different color from another dealer. I jumped on the opportunity and have not looked back since. Bottom line - Dean made it happen,no pressure at all.

Bill in the Financials Department was very thorough and professional-- even better that he's got a great sense of humor! And believe me, Bob in the Service Department definitely knows a thing or two about a thing or two-- I'm certain his team will get it done on time and accurately the first time-- and if not, that's always the goal-- they care. I bought my first Harley from Saint Paul more than 10 years ago, and God Willing I'll return again when my new bike hits 100k miles (it was only 60k on my Ultra Classic). Very knowledgable staff, who are very kind and helpful. They'll do whatever they can to make sure you're satisfied with your experience and purchase. They respond to phone calls in a snap, even after hours, they work with the banks to get amazing finance deals, and they provide a very personable experience. With the purchase of a bike, you get lots of cool books with parts and other information, plus a tour of the facility and the people that work in various departments so that you're familiar with everything. There are a ton of clothing and accessories to choose from, although they are a bit pricey -- but they are very nice.

There have been a few Harley dealerships that I have gone into and did not feel welcomed. However, Samantha Rode at St Paul Harley knocked it out of the park!!! She approached me and almost automatically had me set up to do some test rides. Which is the reason I went in there today. On Friday, June 7th, I experienced a front tire blowout after riding over a piece of metal on the highway. I made a call to Phil in the service department at St. Paul Harley asking if they had somebody who could come and get me and my bike and bring us to their dealership for the necessary tire replacement. Vern, a driver from St. Paul Harley, arrived within 20 minutes and had my bike loaded up into the truck. Once at the dealership, I met with service writers Phil and Brent who wrote me up and informed me that, it being a Friday, they were booked solid all day, and they would try to squeeze me in and install a new tire and inspect the rear tire to make sure it hadn't been damaged as well. It wasn't but 2 hours later that I received a call from Cassie in the service department telling me the new tire was installed and the bike was being washed. From start to finish, my experience with St. Paul Harley was outstanding. Phil, Brent, Vern, and Cassie each treated me like I was a valued customer. There were no excuses, no tired reasons to not help me out. Just honest effort to make a customer happy. Vern had been scheduled to deliver and pick up motorcycles that morning, but he made time, and St. Paul Harley fully endorsed his doing so, to divert from his schedule in order to pick me up with my stranded bike before completing his scheduled rounds. Phil and Brent didn't have to make an effort to squeeze my bike into their busy schedule to have a new tire installed, (and honestly I was just so thankful I survived a front tire blowout without crashing or being hurt that getting the tire fixed in a hurry wasn't number one on my list), but they did. And Cassie didn't have to be pleasant and friendly when she called to inform me my bike was ready, as she always is when my bike is being serviced there, but she was. Truth be told, I was kind of nervous after hearing St. Paul Harley was under new ownership as of earlier this year. But this experience has reassured me that they are every bit as good as I have come to expect from them since buying my first Harley here in 2012. They are my Harley dealership, and they treated me like I am their valued customer. I can't ask for more than that.

We were greeted immediately at the door, as always! And when we started looking at the bike I was interested in, was approached by a salesperson, who was not pushy, just wanted to know if we had any specific questions. Very quickly started up a conversation, and we went from there! I think 3 sales associated, a service/parts assistant manager, the business manager and financial person, plus the bike salesperson were all awesome! They were very accommodating to my needs, and allowed us to bring our dogs in the store, as they'd been in the truck awhile! It helps that just about all of them were dog lovers, too! Very relate-able personnel, had a ton of product knowledge, too. The people and service is one of the reasons I love my Harley so much, and I'm sure will love this new one even more!!!

From the time I walked into St Paul Harley Davidson until a couple days later when riding out of the parking lot I knew I had chosen the right HD dealer. I purchased a 2021 Street Glide Special and I couldn’t be happier. My sales professional, Dylan, was always respectful, understood my wants and needs and at no time did I ever feel pressured into making a purchase that day or the next etc. that’s why it took me three days. I did my research, read reviews etc., and everything Dylan explained about the differences in models was spot on. Financing the bike was also a pleasurable and hassle free experience and they truly accommodated me and my finances. There are times people second guess large purchases and this was definitely not the case with this. I knew that Dylan directed me to the bike that he felt would suit my needs and that of my pocketbook. Most importantly, he wasn’t pushy or obtrusive, more so a very dignified and respectful sales professional and I am actually out riding the HD while writing this. I consider myself a very loyal individual and rarely provide second chances regarding trust and that’s why St Paul Harley Davidson, Dylan, and the team will be my dealer of choice. I realize everyone has the right to choose where they’d like to do business and I wouldn’t be raving about St Paul Harley unless I truly felt that way. Had my bike worked on here. I went to go pick it up, Took about 45 minutes for them to actually bring my bike around, while plenty of employees were standing around. They wasted no time approaching me about upgrading my bike though. The repair service is good as my bike is running well, but the service could be much faster.

How can you not love coming here. You don't feel pressured by the salesman like you do at other car or motorcycle dealers. I came in simply to get a feel for some motorcycle handlebars (looking to upgrade my personal bike). I had no interest in leaving with a new bike and most salesman wouldn't waste their time with someone like me. Instead the man showed me a few bikes and helped me find what I wanted. We visited a few times. On our first visit we did not “dress the part” and we were still given great service by a man named Dean. We were just in the looking phase and we knew we wanted a touring bike, we got some ideas and great info from Dean and left. A week later we visited again once we had our search narrowed down and met with dean again on the 2 different bikes we wanted, one really caught our eye, again Dean was incredible and was a wealth of knowledge, he really tried to get us to bite like a great salesman but he wasn’t “pushy”. Ever since I was a little boy and my dad had one, I have always dreamt of the day I would own my own Harley Davidson. Last week, that dream became reality and I bought a brand new 2013 Iron 883! I got in contact with Kurt Harder of St. Paul Harley through a friend of mine. Kurt was great to work with and if anyone is considering a motorcycle, I will send them to St. Paul Harley! Kurt took the time to get to know me and when/where I'd be riding my motorcycle. He then had me sit on a number of bikes on the showroom floor to see what I liked and did not like about them. We then talked about accessories to make my Harley Davidson customized to my individual needs. He showed me around the shop and I was very impressed with the garage area and the great care they take of the motorcycles coming in for repair. When I finally made the purchase, everyone I dealt with that day was very friendly and I truly felt part of a new family. They wanted me to come back for service, accessories, and just a general stop in to say hello. I have never felt this buying other motorcycles or vehicles. Other places it seems like once the papers are signed and you drive off the lot, you're not their problem anymore. Its the exact opposite at Harley Davidson. I've been trying to find a source for parts for the 3 Buells that I own. This has been the internet recommended go to Harley Davidson dealership for Buell owners for hard to find parts. While not all parts are available, many are available right here! Also they are cheaper to buy them New here than used on eBay! WooHoo! Not only is this an Oasis for Buell owners, This is a place where online customer service is a real deal. Up until about 2 months ago, I had never even sat on a motorcycle before. I was fortunate to get a spot in their Rider's Edge course, which taught me how to safely ride a bike. After the class, I had the motorcycle bug. They take safety seriously and ensure everyone is comfortable throughout the process. I would highly recommend this course for anyone looking to get their motorcycle license. I visited St. Paul Harley a few weeks ago. Being a female and never in a dealership before I was very intimidated. They have a LARGE inventory of clothing, i had NO IDEA. I walked into the motorcycle area and was completely amazed on how many motorcycles were in this dealership. I ran into a salesperson who was not pushy, didn't ask me 5 times if i needed help, he just struck up a conversation. I am now enrolled in the training program to learn to ride the "right way". I really don't think i would have enrolled in such a program if i was barraged by cheesy sales people. They were all very professional and friendly. Prior to April '13, I had ZERO experience with motorcycles. Furthermore, I was far too intimidated to ever step foot into a Harley Davidson dealership or approach a person wearing Harley Davidson gear. You can say I had a very narrow view of what it meant to follow the Harley Davidson brand. In April, I was invited to take part in the St. Paul Harley-Davidson Rider's Edge course. I accepted the offer and it was a fantastic decision. From the moment I stepped foot in the SPHD doors, I was made to feel welcome. Initially, I was a motorcycle novice that had no intention of buying a motorcycle, but that didn't seem to matter to the staff. When I asked Michael on the sales floor to educate me on the styles of bikes, he enthusiastically walked me through everything Harley-Davidson offered. The class and road course was great and I left Rider's Edge a confident new rider. Fast forward 2 months, and the riding bug had bitten me hard. I had been riding friends' bikes over that time and it was time for me to buy my own. I contacted the GM Kurt Harder, and he graciously invited me to go for a ride with him. Kurt walked me through different bikes that would work with my large frame and he was able to find the PERFECT used bike. Kurt seemed less concerned with making a big sale and more concerned with getting me, a young rider, on a bike I could afford. I could not be more happy with the bike I purchased, the price I paid, and the service I received. The past 5 months have been a great transformation for me. I began as an intimidated, uninterested, non-rider and have become an enthusiastic follower of the Harley-Davidson brand.

I will start off by saying that i never write reviews, but seeing how i work in automotive sales and finance i do understand the impact these reviews have. My excellent experience began with a terrible experience at a different Harley Davidson dealer in the metro. It lead to my call to SPHD and Sam my sales person. She was fantastic to deal with and didn't try to test my intelligence or my patience, just found me the bike that i wanted and made adding the accessories simple. That's not even the most impressive part. Saturday, 5 months later, while i was out of town with the Military my wife noticed something wrong with how the bike was acting on the battery tender. I reached out to SPHD and low and behold my sales person texted me back and with a little back and forth explanation, she arranged to have my bike picked up from my house within the hour. Trying to retrieve my bike out of winter storage, I twice phoned my service writer, which were patched through by the operator. Both times the calls went into his voice mail. Turns out he wasn't in on either day that I called and the operators didn't know that. Needless to say the bike wasn't ready to go. Messed with my schedule for a planned trip departure. That said, a fellow service writer jumped on it and got things back on track for the next day. Better communication on their part, and also a bit on my part, would have prevented the issue.

I had one of the worst situations present, but Phil and Dan at St. Paul Harley had my back. In 2013 a small-town shop did a cam job and my bike hasn't run well since. I've bounced from a dozen different shops including (Lakeville HD, Motoprimo, Fury Motors, etc.) trying to solve the issues and got a load of garbage every time: "It could be X", "it could be Y", "it could be Z", "oh yeah we'll get that fixed in no time", "that's normal for a Harley". Every time I spent a few hundred with no changes. I finally came to St. Paul HD, and Phil in their service department was straight up about it. He said if I want to solve this, I needed to throw in between 1-2K. He explained thoroughly what would be done and what could be the outcome of a variety of situations. I'd had enough and went for it, and found bad news. The cam install was such a hack job that the gears had sheared and spread metal fragments throughout the entire bike. The engine was done for - a complete loss. Phil and Dan (the tech) showed me the parts, the metal fragments, walked me through the systemic issues, and fielded questions for hours on what my options where. Being unfamiliar with engines, I poked and prodded with many follow-up questions to better understand, and their answers were always up front and honest, if hard. In the end I needed a new engine. Because of all the past experiences I had lost trust in mechanics, and HD service as a whole, but Phil and Dan's honesty, conduct, and customer service has restored that trust. They made the best of a horrible situation, doing everything they could to minimize the cost - which they did exceptionally well - saving hundreds. I will definitely be returning to St. Paul HD for future needs and will be recommending them to others. If you can, ask for Phil. He won't BS you.

Bought my FLHR in 2002. Been going to them since then for EVERYTHING! Parts, Service . . . . . I'm and MVP GOLD member. Latest experience was a disaster. Brought my bike in on Wednesday, July 12 . . . . got the runaround Thursday, Friday and finally called Saturday. I was told the bike was up on the lift but had NOT BEEN TOUCHED!!! FOUR DAYS!! I will never deal with Sam (service) again. I will only talk to Phil Gork. I am calling Monday and if I am not happy with why my bike has been there 4 days UNTOUCHED I will demand that I be allowed to pick it up with NO CHARGE. I will then bring it to the Boar House in Centerville. UPDATE!! It GETS EVEN WORSE!! I had service change my starter. 2 weeks later the jackshaft bolt came out of the starter shaft. Had to have it towed to the service department. They fixed it. 2 weeks later the jackshaft bolt came out again. Was able to start it to get it there but my appointment took TWO DAMN WEEKS and they had it for 3 days for something THEY SCREWED UP!! NOW!! 2 weeks after that the damn jackshaft bold CAME OUT AGAIN!!! This time I took the primary cover off myself at home and this is what I found. The IDIOT that worked on my bike was bending the lock-tab washer down 90 degrees on top of the jackshaft bolt but the problem was it was NOT contacting the flat of the 10-30 jackshaft bolt head. When I took it apart the tab was bent down but the jackshaft bolt was out of the starter shaft. So I had to re-install the jackshaft bolt myself and this time I took a vice-grip pliers and made sure the tab was down on the bolt head AND put some red loc-tite on the tab. Each time I had to wait WEEKS to get it in and days to have a stupid simple problem fixed. I told them I do not want that IDIOT whose been fixing my bike working on it anymore. But now I've decided I cannot afford to take it there anymore. I have to wait weeks. I have to find a ride there to drop it off. A ride to pick it up. I priced what they are doing and compared it to RUMBLE SPORTS in Centerville and I decided I'm better off going to Rumble. Mikee

I live in Huntington West Virginia my name is Josh May I bought two new 1125r hours in 2009 from a dealership about 20 minutes from my house worst experience I ever had the stators went out twice on the black one less than 5,000 MI the red one went out at 5300 miles no help from the service department they left my bike set until the warranty ran out rude won't give the dealership the time of day ever in my life again I was searching the web and ran into St Paul Harley-Davidson start looking at some prices on parts needed to do the EDM rotor for both bikes and purchase new s t a t o r s I got a hold of Doug in the service department this guy is unbelievable really knows exactly what he's doing he knows what you want before you even have to say it fix me up both bikes charging 13.7 to 14 volts he hook me up with good prices didn't have to try to Jew him down like everything was so simple place my order three days later it's here had a bad experience with UPS they beat the Box all the pieces broken gasket inside of it and lost one of the screws that I ordered Doug didn't question anything he took care of it immediately was just a couple days here my stuff shows up both bikes together running great I couldn't ask for a better experience if you ever need any Buell parts for Harley parts or any service go out of your way to get to this place it'll be in your best interest
