They take pride in the work they do as well as the service they provide for their customers. They’re honest, upfront on what needs to get done and never try to up sell me. I am well informed from the time I drop off my bike until it’s ready to be picked up. I will always be a loyal customer of there’s because they’ve figured out what’s important to their customers and that’s hard to come by in this day and age.

If I could give 10 out of 10 on this store I would. Today they made my son's dreams come true and they didn't have to... They were closed for a private event and we turned to go to a different store and my son was heartbroken. Jeff, opened the door and said come on in guys I can't have him being heartbroken and they sold us his first bike! Update: they recently serviced my RZR and completed the work early. The service rep that worked on my vehicle was not as detail oriented as I would have liked. He did stay 5 minutes after closing time to ensure I can pick up my vehicle for a trip. Overall I'm still looking forward to using them again. Really impressive service department. They were helpful and took care of mounting my new tire in quick order. The parts department was very well stocked and had what I needed available the same day. Over all it was a very good experience and I'll be happy to use them again,

I gave four because I was buying a new helmet, goggles and some new boots for my new bike and the people on the floor must of thought I was window shopping because they didn’t asked if I needed help. Not only did their professionalism and friendliness make it a more welcoming experience they were cheaper on the msrp and the additional fees that go into purchasing a bike by over $1000 combined. We nearly got ripped off over at a ridenow but Carter Powersports were priced fair and were upfront about the additional costs make the decision ez. I put a deposit down on the 2021 Honda CRF450RWE (Works Edition) last year from Carter after I called about 20 dealerships across 4 states to see who would be getting one. Carter was the only dealership that could guarantee me for sure they were getting any. I raced down and placed my deposit since this bike is only being made in limited numbers. The fact Carter is receiving two and many other dealerships are getting zero, should tell you all you need to know. I got the call yesterday from Drake saying my bike was in and they were getting it ready for me ASAP. To say I was anxious to get this bike would be an understatement. I was kind of in a time crunch with my kids sports, but they said they would have everything ready to go when I got there so I could be in and out quick. Drake had everything ready to go when I got there, I was probably in and out the door with Drake helping me load my bike within 30 minutes. A+ service.

Because the tire was not purchased from them, they are unwilling to mount it despite the fact I spent $1000s on a brand new bike from them. Despite my pleasant sales experience, I will not be returning to Carter for any future purchases. It's a real shame.

I purchased my first motorcycle from Carter Powersports on 9 May 22. I had originally ordered a motorcycle that got held up with shipping. However, I was able to switch my deposit to another bike that arrived sooner with no problems. The sales people were able to work with me and make it happen. When I emailed or came into the store to check on the motorcycle, people were helpful and let me sit on many different bikes and ask questions. Overall, I had a positive experience from buying from Carter Powersports and would do so again.

Purchased a Honda CB500F from Carters. It was a really smooth and easy experience, never felt pressure to purchase. Everyone there was great from Will originally taking my phone call and providing great customer service, to Drake helping me look at different bikes and helping me with the process of finding a bike that suited my needs instead of just trying to sell me the most expensive stuff they have, also gave me some good tips for a beginner. I also had some help from David, he was really nice and sweet kid, seems very enthusiastic and passionate about riding. Couldn’t have done it without David.

I purchased two separate side by sides from Noah at Carter Sports. Noah and the dealership were helpful in providing for a smooth transition on both occasions. One week after the purchase of the 2nd unit (CF Moto), the $900 windshield broke while attempting to close it. The dealership dismissed it saying it must’ve been operator error and would not warranty or refund the windshield. I had to follow up a second time to get a response. Their resolution was to offer a discount on a new windshield. It was poor customer service in my opinion and could’ve been handled differently

In particular I’ve had a constant relationship with Jeff the sales manager who has facilitated quite a few purchases over the past and they’ve all gone great. On my last purchase, a 2022 Husqvarna TX300i, I also dealt with Noah, and Talon in F&I has been a constant too, and is always efficient, friendly and professional. Noah was very knowledgeable about the bike I was purchasing which is unusual as I go to a lot of motorcycle shops and typically the sales consultants may or may not know much about the particular bike you want or your type of riding, but he was a great resource and is also very friendly and personable. Jeff is always friendly, helpful and efficient. He always treats me well, is straight up and just a cool guy to deal with that gets things done. I make Carter my first choice whenever I want a new toy, and trust me I buy a lot of them as a certified motorcycle addict, so I feel pretty lucky to have the guys at Carter in our town.

When closing out in Finance, I ended up buying an extended warranty even though I didn’t originally intend to. Not only because it’s sensible to protect my investment containing expensive electronics, tech, and motor parts on a premium turbo machine, but because I wasn’t pressured and I was given the time for my senses to override the natural grip on my wallet. He’s right and I’m left with the impression of everyone involved in helping me at Carter are proud of what they do and sell, so i look forward to our future relations and thanks to all!

Previous repair the tech didn't plug the front left turn signal in. Minor item, but suggests that there was no double check of work. Service advisor knowledgeable and informative, but too busy to field outside calls from customers checking status of repairs. I will continue to use and trust their service.

It was a pleasant call and I got prompt service and actually talk to a live person and was told to bring in the bike, which I did. They promptly brought the bike in and replaced my tires. I just recently purchased a motorcycle and it was a pretty good experience. I put down a deposit on a bike and waited for my turn. Got a couple updates about my place on the list. Then one day the bike was ready… come to find out it was ready only if I came the next day. As I couldn’t make it the next day I pleaded my case to allow me to come later. Supposedly the guy first on the list had stopped responding and they had been sitting on the bike for weeks. (It was the end of the month.) Eventually they decided I could have the bike if I came that weekend. I was assured that if I had waited for my bike things would not be so rushed. I made the drive that weekend and it was easy peasy. It took about 15 minutes to get all the paperwork done and go over everything. All the guys were very helpful and it was a smooth process to get my bike.

Although one thing that was kind of irritating was the choice of music that they were playing it kind of deflated the purpose of buying a toy. These people should be playing soft rock or rock to really get you amped up and ready to buy something vs not Christmas music it’s not a Hallmark. Sorry Robin to burst your bubble but me and the guys stand together and you need to change that music ASAP. Dan in the deal making was also very helpful considering we negotiated the price down he threw in a brand new set of tires also extended a two year warranty on the powertrain and transmission. I would absolutely recommend Drake to my friends or family for the best customer service and honesty anybody could ever desire when purchasing a toy like this. This place takes good care of riders for life. Service and runs great. Last month, I was shopping for a new motorcycle. I really loved the Suzuki TU250x model and went down to Carter. I met with Tanner, a sales rep who was very nice. He got my price as low as he could, and being stubborn I left to search for a lower price. I went all across town and received horrible service and laughable quotes on the new bike. In the end, I went back to Carter, spoke with Tanner again and got my price within my range and purchased. When I returned, Tanner was eating lunch when I came back, but immediately stopped to come help me and finish the sale. Recommend Carter Powersports! Sales staff was very attentive while we were in “buyer mode”. Answered most questions and got us on a short test ride with no issues. Worked with us on funding issue (who carries a checkbook anymore?). A bit different when we returned to pick up - but finance guy was great in helping us get the Pioneer loaded etc. They lost a star in the rating with a promise of a washed vehicle with a full fuel tank, neither of which happened. That was irritating, to say the least.

Update Review.25th January 2022 Was looking for a 2nd bike and the online Financing system was a breeze.suoer fast and easy.Theron is the guy you need to go see. Upfront honest and a pleasure to deal with. This my 3rd bike from them Ive bought. Jim Henning delivered the bike and went over every thing for me and answered all questions. Good bloke! Hugh and Eric are great but the mechanics twice now have left chain adjuster screws loose after tyre changes. Hugh and Eric the service guys get 5 stars. Jeff the mechanic gets 5 stars as hes top mechanic there. I wish the other mechanics were more like Jeff.

Fit me in the same day for an oil change on my goldwing. when it was finished, they called me and recommended that I have my front tire replaced (2/32 thread). I said okay. Was promptly added to the work order and got a call saying the bike was finished again. Service department was great and friendly. My only issue was I scheduled an appointment for Tuesday via their website and by late Wednesday I had not received the promised confirmation contact. Called them late Wednesday afternoon and they fit me in early the next morning.

Great place for parts and gear. Went in to order some one part that I found online. Carter was a bit more expensive, but I would get it sooner. When checking out prices I asked if the would price match to a online store. He asked me to show him the parts price which I already had in my cart on my phone. He said he would see what he could do. He came back with a price match. There parts department/ check out are always nice and ready to help. I am a repeat customer for this reason, and when I’m ready for a new machine they will be stop #1. Update took my rzr in for service. Had an issue with not starting and no gauges. Machine was out of factory warranty. They got Polaris to ship parts and cover parts. Then there was labor. I know we were around 4K trying to find a crazy electrical issue. They got my aftermarket warranty to cover a few hours and Carter I believe ate the rest of the cost. 100% paid. Hugh the service guy was awesome. They had the machine for 72 days. Waiting on free parts and low staff. Didn’t care they took care of me and kept me in the loop . Awesome sales, service, I recommend Carter Powersports 100%

Drake was a stark contrast to what we dealt with the previous day so his calm demeanor, no pressure approach was just what we were looking for...and his knowledge and experience really brought the entire deal together...Thanks again Drake! So in leaving a fair review: Overall I had a good experience with Carter. The salesman pretty much knew the ATV i was buying and was able to answer my questions. I also liked the fact that it's a solo shop - not a dozen other locations; family owned for like 40 years. I would actually leave 4.5 stars, but doesn't seem like i can do that. (Actually from the complimentary description of the owner i was given, i would have liked to have met him. I'm prone to working directly with senior executive types. He sounds like the down to earth, grounded type of person i can relate to.) I have no hesitation to returning from time to time for various things: i need some accessories still, and will have service now and then. The reason for not giving a full five stars is that i was thrown off by the final fees being added during the purchase process. So to "newcomers," understand the fees that will be added to the price you see on the website. Plus, you can't test ride the machines. I get the insurance issue, but this is the only motorized vehicle i've ever bought without taking it for a ride first. When there are other shops where you can schedule a test ride from their website, not having a test ride seemed - odd. But still, a thumbs-up experience.

When we came in looking for a quad, he stepped in and listened to what we were looking for as far as price and specs on an ATV comparable to what we were approved for. Great guys! Walked in after seeing the bike I wanted online and they knew exactly where it was. Cameron was the sales guy that helped me and he was pretty knowledgeable on the bike and had ridden it himself. Unfortunately my work schedule kept me from really being able to spend any time at the dealership. Things were limited to lunch breaks and Cameron was very accommodating of that. Worked with me via text and phone calls to setup appointments. Was able to help me get info sent in electronically as well so time wasn’t wasted. Huge help!!!! I brought my 2012 ZX6R in for service due to the battery not charging. Long story short, they had to call Kawasaki to find out what was wrong. Kawasaki said the rotor was no longer magnetized and they would pay for a new rotor, stator, and regulator/rectifier at no cost to me. (I had no warranty what so ever) Carter could have easily not have told me that Kawasaki was paying for everything, and they could have made a few extra hundred bucks. But they informed me of the issue, and I only paid for the diagnostic fee. And for that reason, Carter will always have my business. I will gladly make the 30 minute ride to them for all my motorcycle needs

Bill in parts was awesome! I went in only to get a couple oil drain plug washers, a grand total of $8(big spender right?!). On the way there both kids fell asleep in the car, so I called Bill and asked if he'd be willing to bring the parts to me in the parking lot(so wouldn't have to wake them both up), and he said absolutely without hesitation! He came out, took my payment, then came back out with my parts, was friendly, and offered a welcoming handshake! Outstanding customer service, even for a small change sale like that is hard to come by. I brought in tires to be changed, the wrong tires were put on the bike by accident. I did a Moto at the track and realized the tires were not what I asked for. I drove the bike to Carter straight from the track to address the tire issue, Eric was quick to admit it was their mistake, ordered me new tires and swapped them out no questions asked. They even upgraded my tires at no charge due to the mistake they made. I appreciate not getting hassled, it was great to see Carter take care of their customers.

Very nice experience as I did everything online and only one phone call. Found the bike on cycle trader and emailed them. They said they had just sold the one bike but another one was due shortly. So, I ho hum it for about 15min and called up and put a credit card deposit on the one coming in. Well just two days later I got a text that said my bike arrived as planned and they sent me a picture of the shipping box. Sweet. Around for the bike pick up that same week and they were ready with all the paper already done. I’ve owned and driven motorcycles for over ten years and across 2 states. Carter power sports’ customer service has been second to none. Specifically: I brought them the rear tire from a 2006 Yamaha V-star 650 Classic after having worked on by another shop in Las Vegas. Let’s call them MPS. Where as MPS took my money and sent me on my way then I had another flat in less than a week. Carter’s technicians took a look at my tire and asked me how in the world I had been riding on it. They told me the rim and spokes had been wrecked. That the damage was so extensive there was no way the other shop could have missed it. The technicians at Carter wouldn’t even let me take the tire without promising not to use it. Look. They aren’t the cheapest shop you’re going to find. But they do good work, they are personable, and they appear to genuinely care about their customers. And that’s got me going back.
