Jeff (the Senior Manager) was absolutely amazing! He was patient with us in figuring out the best mattress that accommodated my husband and me. He went over all the mattress, as well as the base, options and was extremely knowledgeable in discussing their features. We felt so confident in making our decision after working with Jeff. At the end of our visit, we left out with a wonderful mattress and base that fit our needs perfectly. I would recommend Jeff and Mattress Firm to anybody looking for great mattress options with phenomenal customer service!

Evan was extremely helpful. My wife and I were trying out a few mattresses while he was helping another customer, we were uncomfortable on all the mattresses we were trying. When he came over, he asked us how we slept, what mattresses we’ve had and what we didn’t like about them and the very first mattress he recommended.. my wife and I nearly melted into because it was so comfortable. He clearly knew what he was talking about. I normally sit on big purchases for a couple days but he was so spot on with his suggestion that we immediately bought the mattress. I never got the normal salesman vibes that I usually get from him. All of his suggestion he broke up into different categories going from luxury brands all the way to budget friendly choices and I never felt like he was PUSHING certain brands on us. Zachary helped me at the Greenbrier Rd store in Chesapeake. I'm new to Virginia and this was my first major purchase here. First, Zachary didn't give me the unnecessary history of the mattress since the early middle-ages. Instead we had a focused, efficient conversation and he answered all my questions with direct answers. I came in, said what I wanted and told him my budget. It really was as good an experience as one could have buying a mattress. And he had a few unconventional discounts once I started to work on the deal which put me slightly under budget. (Read whole review) I had a very unhappy experience with another sales associate at this location. I wasn't unhappy until I went home and really looked at my receipt and compared it to the website. I let the associate know that the price online was much less than in store while at the store and he told me it wasn't the same bed. That the best online was a foam bed and they dont have it at the store. It actually was the same bed.... I was also told the bed I was ordering that I tried in store was a hybrid and it was actually that same foam mattress... However. I am still giving a 5 star review because Fritz who I have dealt with in the past was able to fix my problem by doing a price match for me and doing an exchange for an item to make sure I made the appropriate purchase for my needs. He also saved me a lot of money. Fritz also sold us another base for our new mattress at a great price. Great customer service. Way to make it right. I will return here for any mattress/pillow purchases long as he works at mattress firm!

Darnell was awesome! Helped us on two different occasions, the first being when my wife and I went in on a whim and weren't really seriously looking at the time. But Darnel was gracious, informative and helpful all the same. The 2nd time we went in we were both happy to see he was the one behind the counter, he again helped us with our questions and took several mattresses off the clearance wall so we could try them out. We bought a mattress from him and he went the extra mile to see if there was a location other than his that we could pick it up that day instead of waiting till the next day. My wife and I went to this location to find a mattress for one of our spare bedrooms on a Thursday evening. We arrived a few mins before closing. We were greeted by a very nice and honest lady by the name of Lisa. She asked what we were looking for in particular. We told her and she told us the pricing and we knew we would be back to purchase. Out of all the furniture purchased over my lifetime, this was the best experience I've had. Lisa was tired when we first met but she had a good heart and that made us do business with mattress firm. She is the Pinnacle of customer service. I have her card and will always return to this location or ANYWHERE else Lisa is to get a mattress. She treated us with respect and I was never pressured into buying anything. She gave us all the options available for purchase and current sales. Coincidentally we need two more mattress' and we will be getting them all from this location because of Lisa. My family has fallen in love with her caring spirit. She takes pride in serving and I'm honored to have crossed paths with her. Most sales people don't understand the concept but excellent customer service drives sales and repeat customers.
