I went in to buy a bed for my father in law who is moving in with us. It was such a painless process and Regan was incredibly helpful and made sure I felt comfortable with my purchase. Even thought she was the only sales person in the store and other customers were arriving, she politely told them she was alone and would be with them momentarily. Walked in and was immediately greeted by Peter, a very friendly salesperson. He took us through a pretty thorough Q&A about our sleep habits and preferences which he entered into a computer, it helped to narrow down the mattress choices so we weren't just jumping from one to another (which gets confusing after the first few). He explained all the differences and benefits of each mattress expertly, and answered all of our questions with ease. Not only did he help us get to our final selection in under 10 minutes, but he got our order, shipping and payment sorted quickly as well. Fast, efficient and easy. This is the second time I've had a great experience at Mattress Firm! This time I brought my grandma with me they were so patient and so kind. they actually got down to her eye level to make her feel more comfortable and spoke up loudly to her because I told them she was partially def. I thought they were trying to upsell me by offering me a sheet set but it turned out to be a lifesaver in the end I'm glad I bought the sheet/pillow package deal. He even offered to give us a bit of a break on the mattress when we discovered that the wrong mattress was delivered the last time we’d purchased from them. There was no pressure or upsell. I was about to order an online mattress that was going to take three weeks to be delivered. Pesha and Sonny were absolutely amazing from the second I walked into the store. Pesha walked me through a number of options and used the sleep app to bring my options down to a select few. She was great about answering questions, highly personable, and most important at no point did I feel like she was telling me to hop into the most expensive floor model. I left the first day with a pretty good idea of what I wanted in mind and knowing exactly where I wanted to purchase it. I returned about a week later after some more research ready to purchase. Pesha had relocated to the Renton location but Sonny was happy to pick up right where Pesha left off. He walked me through options and specials and was happy to speak to me about some of the products he used(as we were similar builds I appreciate that he was game to talk about some of his personal selections.) The entire interaction felt like talking to a buddy. No pressure to buy, just chatting with another friend who just happened to want to get you the most comfortable bed he could. I deliberately waited until I was in the area again to purchase from this particular location based solely on the warm service I received. Clearly I made the right choice. If you're looking for a better night's sleep, start your search in Tukwila.

Mattress Firm was an entirely different experience. Theo asked a lot of questions and worked to find me the perfect mattress! My sales person was a young lady named Pesha she was nothing less than fantastic!! She asked a few questions about how I slept to help her determine the type of bed that would be best for me. I also explained that I currently have an injured back and wasn't very comfortable especially laying down she understood and we continued to explore the different mattresses. I found a couple mattresses that felt real good but I'm hesitant to spend the money on a quality bed. Pesha understood. I'll definitely be coming back to see Pesha for my new bed purchase when my injuries heal so make sure I get the proper bed for my needs. Thank you Pesha!!

My husband and I tried, what felt like, hundreds of mattresses. We finally found one we really liked at Mattress Firm. Chris (who was awesome), the gentleman that helped us originally was not in that day, but Greg was there to make sure we were taken care of. He was fantastic! Very knowledgeable, super friendly and professional. He answered all of our questions and made some great recommendations. He was even training a new employee while making sure we got amazing service. To top it off, when we told him someone else helped us first, he made sure they got the credit for the sale. I highly recommend this location, they have lots of mattresses and pillows to choose from. We walked out having ordered our new mattress and 2 new pillows. We are 2 satisfied customers.

I went in this location when I was first shopping for a new mattress, and thought the salesperson was helpful. In the end, I purchased a mattress from a different Mattress Firm location (West Seattle), which was just convenient to where I was that day. Soon after purchasing the mattress, I knew I needed to exchange it (within the allowed window) for something else. I went into this location again, explained I needed to make an exchange, and was all but ushered out the door, encouraged to give it more time. What I've now learned is that these locations, is that the salespeople love when you want to make a purchase at their location, but don't want to deal with you if your return is going to affect their bottom line whatsoever. I get that a return (or an exchange in this case) is not going to make them much money, but the lack of respect and customer service at this location is a bummer. Hoping this review sends more business to The Mattress Firm on Southcenter Parkway; they were great to work with, in the end!

He answered all our questions and listened to our concerns about previous mattresses purchased from Mor furniture. I had the pleasure of working with Don, who is such an honest and hard working guy. I was looking for a mattress and thought I would never find one that was comfortable and in my budget for the temporary rental I was furnishing. Honestly, it was the most painless transaction, he found a mattress for me in 10 mins well below what I thought I'd have to spend while working alone and helping several people at once. it was impressive! He assured me that there was a mattress for every price range. through no fault of his own, someone sold it when I was scheduled to pick it up a couple weeks later. I wasn't going to have a place to sleep without it that night. He has so much integrity, he got me a temporary mattress and brought it to my apartment 1 hr away, hauled it into my apartment and set it up himself. He promised I'd have the mattress I originally purchased in 2 weeks and that someone would pick up the temp. Plus someone left some garbage on the stairs to the apartment and he picked it up and disposed of it. WHO DOES THAT? Don at Mattress Firm in Tukwila. I would never buy from anyone but him. He's an honest salesman and really cares about people. I'm blown away!!!!! This is literally the best customer service experience I've had in my life. Thanks Don!

My daughter and I had an excellent experience when buying a new mattress today. Big thanks to Don for all the great help! Going into the store, I had a pretty good idea what I was looking for, as I had been shopping around both locally and online for the past few days. But Don took me around the showroom and showed me a few alternatives that could also fit my needs. He was knowledgeable and was able to answer all the questions I had. In the end, I was able to find the perfect mattress that best suited me. UPDATE 8/25/2020: I received an initial update from the store this past Sunday saying that I was going to receive a follow up call that night to schedule my 2 hour window for delivery the next day. Unfortunately I didn't get that call, and as such, no delivery the next day. Fast forward to Tuesday (today) I give a call to the store to see what's up. According to the other sales rep I spoke to, they receive shipments from Purple once a week (the mattress I bought), and that mine was delayed until next week. I was told that I should've received a call with this information, but unfortunately I didn't. This isn't a huge inconvenience, mainly on Purple's distribution side. So I'll keep my original 5-Star rating. That being said, I would've really appreciated a follow up call that I should've gotten. Expecting delivery, I had already torn down my current bedroom setup. So I'm stuck sleeping on a mattress on the floor for a week. Hoping there isn't any further delays again.

Arthur was super knowledgeable about all beds. Which was awesome because it gets confusing when you Google beds. Go in and see for yourself and ask for Arthur. Pricing was in line with Costco pricing. I was in and out of there in an hour today and my bed arrives tomorrow on Labor Day. I told Arthur I will think of him after my first good night's rest on my new bed. I learned a lot today too. Don't buy more than 400 thread count..you'll sleep hot.

After several harrowing rounds of negotiation, I got a great deal on a clearance mattress from Chadd. Unfortunately the mattress arrived with significant lumps and defects that rendered it nigh unusable. I called Chadd to let him know and he got special manager approval to get me a replacement (even though clearance mattresses are usually ineligible for return). I headed to back to the store and tried out several candidates for a replacement but I wasn't really happy with any of them, they were all either worse than what I had originally bought or would cost me extra. Once again Chadd went above and beyond, he took a special trip to the warehouse after his shift ended that night and found me an excellent replacement that I've been very happy with.

I woke-up Sunday morning and just had enough with the mattress I had been sleeping on since 2012, which was causing me pain from head to toe. I went to Sleep Train around 12:30pm and talked with the sales person who patiently waited for my partner and I try out various mattresses. After an hour later, at 1:30pm we made a firm decision on the Beautyrest Black Hybrid mattress. We decided to take advantage of the interest free promotional offer, which took 10 minutes to get approved, and by 1:45pm the delivery truck called the sales person to say that he needed to submit the order before 2pm, of which he did and our bed was getting ready for delivery the same day. The sales person did a pillow fitting to match us with the best pillows and offered the mattress and box spring protection, as well as sheets for our new bed. Before we even left the store, the automated delivery called me to give a window of when to expect the delivery, which was at 2pm. We were home for 30 minutes before the delivery guys called to say that they will arrive in 30 minutes. Once they arrived, it took them less than 20 minutes to set the bed up, which included putting the mattresses and box spring protector, and taking the old mattress away. I was totally impressed with the excellent customer services from 12:30pm to 3:45pm, and I took Monday off to sleep all day long and woke-up feeling less pain and revived.

My experience here was great. My wife and I went in with little knowledge of the mattress world; only knowing we wanted to buy a new one. Joe was our sleep expert and he helped a lot in our decision making process. We brought our almost 4 year old toddler with us and Joe immediately showed him the good sized train table in the back - a lifesaving business feature that bought us 2 hours to find our perfect mattress. Joe made the sale process easy and made sure we got all the president day deals. We got our new mattress delivered to us the very next day. And for total peace of mind they offer 120 days for us to decide if we made the right choice or if we need to trade for a different mattress.
