Not going to 'lie', this store needs to be everyone's first stop when getting a new bed! Since Sleep Outfitters is a subsidiary of Tempur Sealy, this location is able to offer the best pricing for the best beds (Sealy, Tempu-Pedic, Stearns & Foster) on the market, especially if you are buying a mattress around big sale holidays. Our sleep outfitters (staff), Dan and Slava, were very knowledgeable and helped my wife and I learn exactly what we were looking for when it came to a mattress, what we valued in regards to our sleep, and many, many things we did not know about improving our health and wellness through sleep. They went above and beyond to make purchasing a mattress, and then exchanging it, as seamless as possible! We did not need to 'sleep on it' when deciding to buy our mattress here!

Very knowledgeable staff who really seem to have our best interests in mind more the the commission, which is nice. Pretty low pressure. Product quality is quite good. Gotta give them props just for how long they took with us - we got quite a comprehensive tour of mattress options with Dan. Slava did a great job of helping us make a final decision and was very helpful getting through the paperwork and setting up delivery.

I just moved to La Fontenay Apartments, right down the road from this store. As I was leaving my previous residence, I did not bring my bed with me and I had great success with sleep outfitters before so I came to the store yesterday. It turns out the guy who helped me last time (at a different store), Slava, just happened to be at the store as well. Needless to say I’m glad I ran into Slava again because the first experience was awesome and I am definitely happy with my second experience. For me personally I can fall asleep in a chair but his knowledge about what makes a mattress good or bad does come in handy because the last mattress I got, I slept like a baby.

Came to look for a mattress for my toddler. I’ve shopped online before and other places but after my experience here I’ll only come here. The gentleman working was named Slava and he was very very educated and knowledgeable on each mattress, how they were designed etc and made me feel like I was purchasing the correct model. I myself, have some back and neck pain and purchased a few new cooling pillows and sheets for ourselves as well as a mattress protector for our little one in case of accidents. Slava was wonderful! After saying a foam mattress was not wanted, he explained the difference between a hybrid mattress and an innerspring mattress. He didn't try to sell what suited his commission, but what was truly best as the customer. Slava Lipskiy was wonderful to my mother and I. He was caring and helpful. My Dad might Mom's husband passed away last week and Mom decided to get a day bed. She didn't want to go back to their bed it was too had a defect they hadn't dealt with yet. Slava helped us find our mattress on a Friday night, which probably isn’t peak selling time, but we received excellent service! We started by talking about our sleep preferences and needs, ranging from health concerns to comfort and temperature. We decided on a firm Tempur-Pedic that is adjustable! Delivery is included and for a small fee (about $30), they’ll take your old mattress. Financing is flexible and convenient, and we got qualified and signed up within a few minutes! We even got a mattress cover and two Tempur-Pedic pillows included with our purchase. The whole experience was much less stressful than we imagined thanks to Slava being so helpful and enthusiastic. I’m glad we chose this Sleep Outfitters location!

My girlfriend and I walked into our appointment today with a basic knowledge of mattresses, if that. We walked out with a much broader knowledge regarding mattresses, particularly TempurPedic. Slava asked us questions regarding what type of sleeper we are and what position we were most comfortable in while sleeping. He showed us the adjustable base mattresses and I'm glad he did because laying on the adjustable bases for 45 min felt better than the past few months on our current mattress. Slava didn't try to sell us the most expensive mattress - he gave us options. Slavawanted what was best for us, not what lined his pockets. We're going to wait a month or two before we invest, but going in to try out a mattress was the best decision ever. I highly recommend asking for Slava when mattress shopping. He will help you shop for what's best for you. I'm not one to write reviews, but I was so impressed with Slava's knowledge and professionalism, I felt like I'd need to share my experience with others. I am a dad that has purchased mattresses for 3 kids during childhood, high school and college. Purchased using every avenue: warehouse club, online, local mattress store, and national mattress chain store. So I have seen it all over the years including high pressure sales, incorrect information, no information, good customer service and horrible customer service. Learned to due my research, test multiple brands and stores. My youngest daughter, last one in college, and I spent a very hot July afternoon shopping for a mattress she will use while going to school at UK. The Sleep Outfitters store was our last stop of the afternoon. Slava Lipskiy at this Sleep Outfitters store provided amazing customer service. No high pressure sales, but was knowledgeable about his product and the competitor products. Didn't denigrate the competition, simply outlined the differences. He talked with my daughter and discussed the pros and cons of various types of mattresses. I actually liked a much more expensive mattress than my daughter preferred, yet to my surprise. Slava did not try to use my preference to pressure her into the more expensive choice. He treated her as the adult who will use this mattress a long time. On top of fantastic customer service and a competitive price. Free delivery up tight stairs to her bedroom in Lexington and 4 month trial period. Wow. As a Dad who has lugged and moved about a dozen mattresses over the years. This was the buttercream icing on the cake. You may find a different mattresses brand at a slightly lower price somewhere else. But if you take into account, wonderful customer service, Slava's knowledge of the products in the market, and did I mention FREE Delivery and haul away of old mattress. You will be sad if you buy your mattress anywhere else. If you can't tell, this often grouchy old father would recommend Slava 10 out of 10 times. That's pretty close to being an impossible feat in our sad post covid environment.

Our current mattress was bought here several years ago, we knew it was time for a replacement. Heather was super informative, courteous and not pushy. She was in the store by herself waiting on multiple customers and continue to make sure that everyone waiting was doing OK. When it was my turn she asked me a couple of questions on how I slept and other items around that then she helped me pick the mattress. It turns out the one she suggested for me is the one that I liked the best. She worked with me on pricing and set up a delivery date. There’s a lot of mattresses been ordered and we are trying to see if it can get delivered quickly. I believe that she’s doing all she can do ensure that it happens. Once delivery happens I’ll report back to let all know how that goes and then after a couple of months I will report back and share about the comfort (or lack there of) with my new Serta mattress. Like before, Heather is amazing, patient, knows the products and provided me with the best option for the contour of my back and neck. The store was clean, all items sanitized. I recommend my friends and family to see Heather. I am, will be a recurring customer. Even after a year and even after state wide mask mandate lifts, they are still following mask mandate for employees and PPE guidelines. In fact, as they were spraying and sanitizing while I was in the store and after tested pillows with mattress and pillow guards. Best store in the city. Heather provided exceptional customer service. The store maintained PPE guidelines. It was clean and well sanitized. I appreciate that a disposable cover was placed on the bed and pillow prior to a customer testing the mattress or pillow. This is a 5 star review plus. I’m certain I will be satisfied and plan to be a recurring customer.
