We were referred to Mattress Firm Whittier by a neighbor who was happy with his purchase there. Marisol was wonderful. Knowledgeable, personable, respectful of our budget (offered financing), genuinely interested in helping solve our sleep issues. Most important to us, is the fact she wasn’t pushy or aggressive. She asked what we were looking for (twin mattress only). We told her we have a budget but need to replace a 10 yr old foam mattress that causes aches & pains. She let us try 5 models and actually listened to and understood our answers to her questions. We believe we bought the right mattress. It’ll be delivered (free) in a couple days. What a great experience. We went browsing on the Saturday morning of Memorial Day. We were helped by Devon. He was amazing. He walked us through the different style mattresses and helped us find which one worked for my wife and I. We never felt rushed and he helped us find a mattress that fit our needs and budget. I very rarely write reviews as my expectations are fairly high and I do not often find retail store experiences to meet them. So it is with surprise and pleasure that I can report on my husband's and my experience in purchasing a mattress today. We were welcomed and offered assistance and then left to explore. When we asked questions we received good, thorough information. We know that purchasing a mattress can be overwhelming with all the options and the "trying out" and Don the sales consultant was extremely patient and as we built a rapport we had good laughs and felt very comfortable in taking our time and making our decision. We never felt pressured and when our decision was made we felt well informed and pleased with our purchase and our time spent.

I did about two years of research on mattress styles and differences. I thought I would walk in, buy what I wanted, and walk out. I was wrong. Alexander took the time to know my sleep preferences and make recommendations based on mattress types tailored to my needs. He provided me with a pillow cover before trying out the mattresses. He even noticed the kind of pillow that I preferred. He gave me all the information, promotions, and types of mattress bases that he believed would benefit my sleep the most. I was stuck between two mattresses, but Alexander gave me all the time I needed to make my decision. We had planned to comparison shop at least three stores, but with the great help we got from Jesse at this store, we bought what we needed right away. Jesse was awesome to deal with. Very knowledgeable and friendly, and REALLY listened to us describe what we were after. he did not try to sell us the most expensive mattress in the store either. He asked a lot of questions, had us test a couple of options, then went right to the selections. He did steer us away from the cheapest mattress, but demonstrated why paying a little more was WAY worth it-we agreed. He gave us a great deal on the mattress, as well as the box spring and frame. I went in for a mattress and was greeted by John, he was very personable and helpful. The mattress I had at home was way too soft and had no support. I wasn’t sure what mattress to choose however when I told John what I needed he directed me to a beautyrest mattress towards the front. The minute I laid down on it I was in love! It was exactly what I needed. John was very quick and helpful and directed me to the perfect mattress, he also saved me quite a bit of money along the way. The price was very reasonable being that it was a brand new king size mattress. I walked out of the store extremely happy and I will definitely recommend others to buy their mattress here.

What can I say but WOWZA! My husband and I knew what we needed and wanted to get a restful sleep and Cassanndra made it all happen. This was our 4th mattress place and everyone was nice where we went but the difference is the KNOWLEDGE Cassandra has and she one-upped them all! Cassandra gave us all the time and attention that no one else did and gave us such a great deal that we both should've been arrested because we just stole it! We are loving our Olivia matress from Chattam and Wells and the Rolls Royce of adjustable bases with the lumbar feature is fantastic! I went to Mattress Firm with my fiancé and it was the first time either one of us has bought a mattress. That being said, I wasn’t sure exactly what I was looking for, except what size I wanted. I had no knowledge of brands or anything. We were helped by an associate named Peter Lee and he made it a great experience. It was simple and quick. He greeted us right when we entered the door and even walked us out at the end. He managed t break down our options for us, as he was very attentive and knowledgeable. Usually, I don’t like working with salespeople because I feel as if they have an agenda and they are just trying to make a sale on the most expensive item they own; however, I felt Peter was the opposite. He appeared genuinely concerned for us and respected our budget. He had a great disposition and sense of humor and that really helped make this experience so great. When we finally came to a decision, he explained the payment and financing details very concisely and specifically. I probably asked him the same questions a half a dozen times because, like I said, this was my first experience and I wanted to make sure I was understanding everything. He was very patient and understanding, and had no problem with all the questions I bombarded him with. Overall, this was a great experience—better than I had hoped even. I’m recommending my friends and family to purchase any future mattresses or bed-related accessories to ask for Peter at this location I went to. I think they would all be relieved to have the same experience my fiancé and I did.

Went in not expecting to buy a mattress that day, but John the salesman was really great. He allowed us to take our time laying on the mattresses, he answered all our questions. He gave us some space to talk it over and lay on several mattresses. I mean we were there for like two hours debating and laying on mattresses, and we settled on a Tempur-Pedic mattress. Once we settled we applied for the equal payments 0% interest, and we were approved in minutes. We were good to go. We scheduled our delivery the following Monday but our delivery was delayed a week since they were having supply issues with the manufacturer. We didn’t mind the delay because they explained it to us and kept us informed and really that’s all we wanted was to feel informed. One of our pillows arrived with a stain and as soon as we called John he told us he would put in an order to replace no problem. This was a great experience all around. I would recommend this store to anyone.

My husband and I purchased our new bed from Cecilia. We made 3 visits to the store before deciding on what to get. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and PATIENT! She really helped us feel at ease and didn't try to force anything on us. YES.....a nice bed is expensive but I can tell you it's worth every penny. Take your time, go in several times, lie around, don't rush. A bed is super important to the health and comfort of your daily lives. My husband and I love our bed so much that we spend most of our time in the room. The dogs and cats love it too! We purchased a split king with split adjustable bases. We get to sleep on our own comfort levels and it's been great. I would recommend Mattress Firm, and this store in particular, to anyone.

The staff was calm and not being pushy with any of the customers on this crazy day. Our questions were answered with great information and additional detail was given easily to help us make an informed decision. I would like to just take this moment and this time to express my gratitude to John McCain he went above and beyond today for Our needs in a mattress. Some might beg to differ that a mattress isn’t that big of a deal but in my opinion when I lay my head down to sleep I expect to wake up and feel rejuvenated rested and most of all comfortable. Many might say what does it matter you don’t spend that much time in the bed but if you think about it when you buy a car you test drive it and feel for comfortable seats I happen to spend more time in my bed then on my couch or in my car combined. It was refreshing to come across a sales person who took the time to understand what we were looking for and needed also took the time to listen to what we wanted, never once did we feel pressured or overbearing opinions over our decision. Right now times are hard everyone’s watching every penny and for somebody to understand and help accommodate me during quite a large purchase was very commendable thank you again John McCain. At no point am I overlooking the rest of the staff there were two other gentlemen there when I first arrived who are more than willing to help me we talked for several minutes, I looked around and I went on my day when I returned later in the afternoon they all seem to recognize me I can’t remember their Names but thank you!

I saw that there was the Labor Day Sale happening and wanted to know more information about it - CC did not disappoint! She was not only helpful and welcoming, but she was super personable and informative! I went in with questions and concerns left and right because I wanted to make sure I had as much information as possible to see what my options could be. I didn't feel like I was trying to be sold something - she was not forceful at all! She simply guided me to what I was asking for and provided me with different options and information regarding the sale! She understood my needs so we were on the same page about what I was looking for and she was just great!
