Darren was our sales representative on Tuesday night and was excellent. I had looked online and had discounts I planned to use online for the purchase after seeing some mattresses in person. Darren was not pushy at all, answered all my questions, offered suggestions, and offered to give me the online discounts in store. I also got a sale deal that had ended online. I could not have asked for a better in-store experience. Also, I have delivery scheduled in two days during the holidays! Great service all around. Thanks Darren! We’ll be back for sure!

I ordered before New Year's Eve a mattress from the upper tier with the explicit confirmation it will arrive before New Year's Eve day. I receive a call before delivery when I am being rushed to accept within 10 minutes a replacement mattress, slightly cheaper, with the guarantee that as soon the other is back in stock it will be substituted. It's a month now and nobody bothered to call to either reimburse the difference, replace the mattress or any other good business practice one would expect for items in this price range paid in full.

A for effort with this location. I am old school and prefer communicating with someone when making a more expensive purchase. I didn't feel hustled, rushed or coaxed in any manner. If anything, I felt like Kevin & Darren truly tried to understand our needs, communicate information and work within our budget. He gave us ample time and stayed back despite a long day on a Sunday! Kevin is the best sleep expert you could find!! Extremely happy and satisfied with the entire experience - helping me with finding out the mattress that helps with my neck/waist and acid reflex. Kevin is so patient and easy to talk to, you will not feel pushed about making any decision, buying or not, or if you would like to trying out a different product. He is also very professional, knows all product inside and out - when I described something I read elsewhere in a very vague way, he immediately understands what I am referring to, and points me to the right direction with a few alternatives for me to consider. They are also very responsive and helpful when I tried to reach them after the purchase and had some follow up questions. 5-star hands down!!!! If you want to find the mattress and pillow that give you a good night sleep and fewer PT visits, this is the place!

First, I don't do public reviews. But, my visit to Mattress Firm inspired me to do so. My mattress search began at the Mattress Firm South Loop East store with Nova. I just stopped by to do some initial research, and she was fantastic, listening to the mattresses I had determined to be of interest while introducing me to others to consider given my sleep preferences. Thanks to Nova I was now looking at a even better choice in Stearns & Foster than I was with Beautyrest Pressure Smart. I mentioned my targeting of May for purchase, and she mentioned that I could make an appointment with her or Kevin as well as visit at the Streeterville store that had more mattresses to try in-store. I did just that. I arrived early for my appointment on May 29th and chatted with Kevin, John and another sleep expert (Dale, Don or something like that) while waiting. Kevin and the other sleep expert had me try out a couple of other mattresses, all great, but not as great as my original selection. When Nova arrived, we continued with the mattress testing and I settled on the Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Luxury Plush Euro Pillow Top. The transaction was smooth, easy and thorough. My delivery was set up for 2 days later and during a specific window, relieving concern about the strict timeframes enforced by my building. Upon leaving the store, they all wished me well! Friendly, customer-oriented, fun group. My delivery with Adrian and his colleague was just as seamless with him instructing me on the warranty tag, which I appreciated. I also appreciated the instruction to allow the mattress to off-gas over a few days. If you want expert knowledge without pushy or aggressive sales tactics, all while enjoying chatting with the team, Mattress Firm Streeterville and Mattress Firm South Loop East is where you want to go. Nova is FANTASTIC! And on the mattress... So, after last night's full night's sleep on my mattress, I can say it's like sleeping on clouds with support! I LOVE IT!

My partner and I were looking to purchase a new mattress and have it delivered in time for our cross country move. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Bobby Matthew and instantly felt welcome. He was very kind, patient, and took the time to find us a mattress that best fit our needs. Bobby was very knowledgeable when it came to comparing and contrasting mattress brands and types and he was able to answer all of our questions. As a female couple my parter and I felt safe, respected, and appreciated Bobby’s openness to providing services to the LGBTQ community. Bobby also took care to follow social distancing guidelines and was ready to offer a face mask to us had we been in need of one. The store had recently been cleaned and sanitized and there were hand sanitizing stations set up around the store. I definitely recommend stopping in and seeing Bobby Matthew for all of your mattress needs so you have the opportunity to experience his excellent customer service skills for yourself.

I've always heard negative things regarding mattress salesmen but Eduardo doesn't fit the narrative. He was knowledgeable, courteous and patience. I didn't feel rushed or pressured in the store and I was able to complete the transaction by texting him the next day. I knew going in that the tempurpedics are firm on prices but Eduardo helped me find a good deal regardless. Top man.

Buying my 1st new mattress in 23 years was a daunting task with all of the on line options & big box retailers. I didn't like that prices can vary so much from the same retailer at different locations. I recommend negotiating the price for everything. My sales rep was knowledgeable about the products which helped. Ultimately reading about the products and laying on the mattress for 5-10 minutes and price helped me come up with my mattress. I will leave another review once my mattress (on back order) actually arrives next month.

As a general rule, i hate talking with salesmen. I just don't like it. When I walked into this place and met Darrell, I was already sure this was going to be a bad time. I mean, first of all, mattresses are crazy expensive and then I have to listen to some guy pull out his bag of negotiating tricks and try and push something I don't want or need. Plus I was exhausted and really didn't want to be there but I needed a new bed. So I was pleasantly surprised when Darrell turned out to be one of the best salesmen I've ever dealt with. I didn't realize it, but i had walked in right at closing. So I was the last guy in there with Darrell and it was a Friday night and he was stuck there past closing with me. I never realized because he was so patient. He let me lay on several mattresses for 5-10 minutes each, he answered all my questions about what makes mattresses different and what I should probably look for based on my feedback. And while he directed me to a few mattresses, he never pressured me. Seriously, here's a guy who had every right to close the store up and get home to his family, but chose instead to be polite, professional, knowledgeable, and basically everything you could hope for from a salesman. With his help, I found the right mattress for the right price and I've been sleeping comfortably since. I could not be more satisfied with my mattress or my shopping experience. Thank you, Darrell!

I called Mattress Firm after a snaffoo with an order from another company, and after calling multiple stores in the Chicago area. I was frustrated and not very hopeful when Bobby answered the phone. He listened to my situation (I needed a mattress ASAP) and encouraged me to come in, as he was confident he could help me with what I needed. Lo and behold, within 20 minutes I had found a mattress that worked for me. Bobby worked with me and my (admittedly limited) budget to ensure I didn't have to settle for something less that what I'd liked. He was professional, friendly, and focused on my questions. My mattress was delivered that evening within a minute of my delivery window starting and the crew was out in under 5 minutes. I wish I had gone to them from the start!
