I wanted to wait until we tried our bed first before I reviewed but I can honestly say after a week of sleeping on our new bed that I wish I had bought it sooner! Our Manchester mattress is top notch and I can't even tell you the last time I slept so well! Our salesman Jeff was awesome and something that I appreciated most about him is that it felt as though he wasn't trying to sell me a mattress. He allowed the mattress to sell itself to me. Overall it's been a great experience from the start and when it's time to upgrade our mattress again, I know where I'll be returning.

We recently purchased a mattress at this location. The manager was helpful without feeling like he was just interested in getting the sale. Most impressively he took the time to write a personalized thank you card mailed to us. All the good feelings of going to a local place and receiving personal service all around! Couldn’t be happier with our choice to shop local, after having just cancelled an online order with an online retailer in California, in which we ended up canceling the mattress order - in large part due to their terrible customer service.

On the strong recommendation from our neighbors who were recent and incredibly satisfied customers at the JS Leonard, in Grand Rapids, locale, we scoped it out. Greeted by Natalie, we perused through various mattresses at several price points. We picked out the Trenton which we found agreeable for each of our comfort needs. Without any pressure, sway, tactics or agenda, Natalie was the consummate sales person in allowing us to make a decision. Her professionalism, poise and personality were first-rate. And as if things couldn't have gotten better, the delivery went even smoother. Forgive me for not remembering their names, but the two men were courteous, careful and attentive. And like our neighbors, we cannot be any more ecstatic about our purchase. We've not slept better or more cozier. Thank you so very sincerely much Natalie!

The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm friendly "May I help you?" I recieved much more than help. I obtained knowledge of how, and why the mattress I purchased contains firmness. How to maintain its firmness, and the warranty and the best ways to prevent the warranty from becoming void. Every detail of the delivery date and the needed preparations for delivery. The sales person (Natalie Neal) even informed me, despite knowing I was sold, that I can get 30% off if I purchase a floor model. AMAZING!

I worked with Robert to choose the right mattress after yrs of sleeping on the wrong ones! He helped guide me to different options with what I had told him about my sleeping habits and was very patient while I tried several (and re-tried lol). He was honest and knowledgeable and let me know that if I wasn’t happy with the mattress I got after trying it out for a while, I could come back in a certain window and exchange it for the other one I was interested in! He was very friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be at Jonathan Stevens which says a lot to me about the quality of their business, practices, and most importantly mattresses… I can’t wait to get my new mattress and start sleeping better.

Disappointed by the communication between the company and the delivery team. I was ensured by my salesperson and the person who called to confirm delivery time that the mattress would be delivered after 3:00 (which I requested when I purchased the mattress). The day of delivery I got a call saying the delivery was early and that I had to pay extra if I wanted it at a specific time. Would have been nice to know that information ahead of time.
