I'd recommend anyone in the market for a new mattress start with Colton Mattress Factory. The guys here know their business inside and out. Not to mention, they build right on-site, exactly to order! They took the time to assure a comfortable nights rest in the showroom then had it ready in a weeks time. The delivery guys, in fashion with the company, were exceedingly professional & pleasant to work with. I had ordered a custom mattress for my RV. Learning upon arrival that I've given them the wrong dimensions for my mattress. They guys took it back, resized it and had it back in my hands by the end of that day. The quality & care that Colton Mattress provides is truly a 5-star experience.

Very good buying experience! Went to big box store and bought a mattress that when delivered was not what I had purchased. Reason being that it was way more soft than the store model. Had them pick it four days later and got a refund. Heard Colton advertised on WCQS so I thought that sounds like perhaps the place to get a really firm mattress as I have low back issues. I purchased a mattress that when it arrived was the same firmness as the show room model. Last night was my first night using it and today I woke without the soreness that I usually have on waking. Very satisfied with my purchase. I recommend looking at Colton before you buy.

I have purchased 2 mattresses from Colton mattress. My first was 12 years ago and for my lake house. Every time I sleep on the mattress we wake feeling great. So, I just purchase my second mattress in February 2022. I absolutely LOVE this mattress. I feel great when I wake up each morning. I also purchased the adjustable bed frame . Love it!!! When shopping, the owner promised me 100% satisfaction. Also, if I have any problems with the mattress in 5-7 years, they will come pick it up and take back to the factory to rework. So, delivery date was on a Monday and the owner rearranged and added me to Friday’s schedule. One of the guys was a builder in the factory. That meant he had help deliver my mattress after working all day. My old mattress was just shot and I hurt all over. The owner said, “not another night of misery for me with the old mattress” . I will always buy my mattresses from Colton. Thank you!! Shop Local!!

I have purchased several mattresses from Colton's Mattress Factory. Some for the bed and breakfast we owned and one for my Mom. This summer found us visiting a friend. I woke up for the first time with much less back pain. It was then I realized, we needed a new mattress. My husband I and I went no where but to Colton's. We looked at several mattresses and chose Pantheon. Judging a business when every part of the transaction goes smoothly is easily is perhaps not when you learn the most about the business. When our bed arrived, we did not like it. It did not feel to us as though the bed was the bed we ordered. We contacted Mike and relayed our feelings. He asked us to give the bed a break in time. We complied. We hated the bed finding it hard and unyielding. We told this to Mike. He asked specifically what we disliked. We told him. He came, collected dastardly bed and returned with a remade bed. It is soft as a cloud and gloriously comfortable while being supportive. We both love the bed. It is now a pleasure to get up in the morning not experiencing pain. Thank you John. Your business ethics are impeccable. You have again, earned our business and we encourage others in need of a mattress to shop here. You won't be sorry. They are customer- centric and that is nearly non-existent now.

We were visiting Asheville and had intended to look for a new mattress for our motor home. Time got away from us and we did not have time to look until the day before we planned to leave for home. We visited Colton Mattress Factory in Asheville and found the staff to be very helpful. They were able to make a custom mattress with features we picked from two different mattresses and had it ready by noon the following day. We pulled up on the street at the side of their building. Two guys came out with our new mattress wrapped in heavy plastic. They installed it and took our old mattress with them to donate to a local shelter. It was in great condition, but was not very comfortable. Love the new mattress!

We purchased a queen-sized "Pantheon Opulence" mattress and foundation set from Colton Mattress, and we are delighted with our purchase. This is by far the best mattress we have ever slept on, and we consider ourselves to be quite fortunate that we can enjoy it every night. I had been experiencing some back pain upon arising, but with this new mattress that is completely gone. The quality of materials and workmanship in this product are obvious and impressive. The quality even extended to the delivery. The crew went "above-and-beyond" in getting the mattress and foundation up a difficult set of stairs and in hauling the old set away. In all, we are completely satisfied with our purchase and would highly recommend Colton Mattress to anyone in the market for a new sleep set.

We ALL sleep alone, so only YOU know what kind of mattress will give you the best night sleep, you just need the right person to listen to you and then build the mattress for you, for me that was Ryan. I had just come from another mattress store where the salesman told me, "YOU do not know what you need to sleep on for a good nights sleep. Government studies show this is the right mattress for you." I left confused. Maybe that's why I haven't slept good all these years???? Maybe I don't know what kind of mattress I need.......... Then I walked into "Colton Mattress." First of all, they had me at "Organic Mattress." Who needs to breath chemicals all night? Then Ryan walked up and I just started babbling, "I like the size of this mattress, the softness of that mattress over there, the look of the other mattress, and by the way my legs go painfully numb every night when I sleep. I haven't slept good in years, I need help. Ryan listened to every word I said and then he asked me a few questions and then he said, "I'm going to make you the best mattress." I was excited, first because no one has ever made a mattress for me before but then I was worried, what if the mattress doesn't work??? Ryan told me, "Don't worry, if it needs a little more this or that, we will fix it and you have 30 days to test sleep it." He even asked me how high I wanted the bed, which I love because I am petite. I hate tall beds. I'm super picky and Ryan addressed every issue. I recieved the bed. It looked beautiful. I waited for the 30 days to write my review and here it is. I have tested my mattress every way I can to intentionally see if my legs hurt on this mattress. Ways I know for a fact, the leg and back pain WILL come. I over ate then went to bed, I layed on my back for an hour looking at my laptop (that alone is enough for a night of agony) Night after night, I TRIED to cause myself pain........30 days later no pain....... Ryan is a magically gifted mattress maker. I will cherish this mattress always.

I absolutely love my new Pantheon mattress and adjustable base that I purchased at Colton Mattress Factory. I have back problems, and the mattress has given me extraordinary relief. It provides excellent support, but still cradles the body without any pressure points. I am sleeping so much better! I would highly recommend Colton Mattress to anyone looking for a new mattress. The staff is very knowledgeable in helping choose or build the right mattress, and the customer service is excellent.

The owner told us they were handmade right their on location. Their mattresses are INCREDIBLY comfortable. Recently moved to Asheville and dreaded having to buy a new mattress. Had bought a mattress in a box for our last mattress which was fine but started losing support quickly. Colton was recommended to us and we decided to check it out. We especially liked the fact that the mattress could be flipped, and that it was a local business. We have tried 5 mattress brands in the last 10 years and all have failed to give a restful nights sleep. When we finally found Coltane Mattress we were at our wits end. 10 years ago my husband was searching for a mattress for us. It was very important that he get the right one because of my bad health. I suffer from advance stage fibromyalgia and at that time also endrometriosis. After much research we decided to go speak to Mike at Colton. He listen to our concerns and gave us a few options that fit our needs. We took a leap of faith and decided to purchase one hoping for the best. This was 10 years ago. WE HAVE ZERO REGRETS!! I bought a mattress 10 years ago from a store on Hendersonville road. It was fine as far as I knew. I mean I slept on it and had no problems right? I had aches and pains, once in a while a stiff neck but that's not because of the bed right? Wrong. Once I bought the Colton Artisan extra firm mattress I realized that I had not been sleeping as well as I should. A person doesn't have to wake up with occasional back spasms and neck pain. Who knew? Mike was friendly and low key. The price was reasonable. I had read about Colton in Mountain Express and it struck me that they were the only place I'd heard of that was making a consumer product right here in Asheville. I worried that the mattress would be out of my reach financially so I had procrastinated about coming in to see what they had. But I finally did stop in and bought a mattress that day. Delivery was also very reasonable and they took away the unwanted mattress no extra charge. If you want quality, made locally by your neighbors and at a reasonable price, go to Colton's. You will be satisfied.

I'm in my 70's, have arthritis, and am overweight. I made the mistake of trying a foam mattress, and it was a painful disaster - far more than just uncomfortable. My sister Jamie is a massage therapist and had purchased a Colton mattress several years ago. She recommended I go to Colton. In my opinion, Mike is a therapist in his own right. With his experience and expertise, he literally makes a mattress to fit your physical parameters and requests. I feel like buying a mattress is like buying a car (but less expensive). It's a big risk because it's a big purchase that you will have for 8-10 years. It has a big impact on your daily life. You typically can't return it. And, you never know if warranties will be respected. I bought a Colton mattress two months ago. Colton was the third store I went to. The first store was fine, but I was nervous about the horrible warranty reviews on the national brand. The second store, the saleswoman was so "salesy" that I felt like I was at a slimy, used-car dealer. She kept saying, "Oh don't worry about the price." Finally, feeling frustrated I went to Colton. Mike was calm, patient, and there was no pressure. He explained how the mattresses were made and left me to lay on several. I left to do some more research. I came back a day or two later and bought a latex mattress. After it was delivered I realized it wasn't the mattress I ordered. I was ordering a latex with springs and I got one without springs. I slept on it a night or two and hated it. I called Mike. He said it was no problem and said he'd change it out. However, I was leaving town for 2 weeks the next day. He said no problem to just call when I got back. We went to the store and tested the mattresses again. We actually ended up getting something slightly different than the first order. It was such a seamless process. Mike clearly just wanted us to have the mattress that was a good fit for us. We ended up with a plush latex top with springs. My back loves it! Thank you Mike for the great customer service. I appreciate it! I high recommend Colton.

We stopped in to take a look at their flippable orthopedic mattresses and were impressed with the selection they offered. They seem like they produce a quality product and have a wide selection to pick from. Their boxsprings also are made of durable material and heavy duty in nature. We purchased a Pantheon firm with plus top mattress and so look forward to having a wonderful night sleep on this model which has a 15 year warranty. I look forward to going back to the days of flipping mattresses because I think it will last a heck of a lot longer than my previous one. What was wonderful was that they are willing to work with you on the overall height of your mattress & boxspring, the thickness of the boxspring and extra edge guards of your mattress, so they will customize a mattress based on your needs & wants, and this is so unheard of in the industry, very impressive. And if you are flexible on your timeframe for delivery you will get exactly what you need and they are appreciative.

I purchased a Colton Pantheon queen size mattress from here on 4-8-09. It is very pluch, and has a 4 inch latex foam topper built into it. I shopped the colton store, sleepworld on airport rd, and ashley. For the softness and quality of the mattress, Colton gave me the best price i could find. I paid 995 out the door for it, and it is worth every penny. It is super comfortable, and feels just as good as an expensive (2500 dollar) kingsdown mattress that another member of my family has. I was pleased witht he experience, the service was excellent, they delivered it the same day and took away my old mattress quickly. I had never heard of the colton brand, but last night was the best nights sleep i have ever had.
