I suffer from sciatica and I go in for a 90 minute massage and come out feeling brand new. The spa is very welcoming and cozy which sets your tone instantly to relax. They also offer other services other than massages. You will definitely leave feeling like you've been Blissed.

Blind customer: this location is easily accessible by metro bus. As you enter the establishment you’ll make a quick right to be at the greeting counter. This atmosphere is very warm and relaxing. I have received several massages and a foot spa from body bliss beyond. I honor this establishment as a black owned business in Washington DC. My most recent massage in May 2022 was much needed. I was given several options for type of massage and pressure applied. I am certain my massage ran over as my masseuse was very attentive. I am very pleased with this establishment and will continue to visit for more services.

I am new to the area and was looking for a regular massage therapy provider, so gave Body Bliss Beyond a try. I was hooked after the very first appointment and stopped looking elsewhere! The owner, Reggie, calls himself "Mr. Body Bliss" and he means it. His pressure is on point and he uses warm oil throughout the massage, which I appreciate. Reggie follows your requests diligently and listens intuitively to your body's needs. I felt rejuvenated after my first massage and was adamant to come back again and again. Whether I am dealing with a sore back or looking for a relaxing time, Body Bliss is my refuge. I've been visiting the spa at least one a month since then and plan on continuing to do so as long as Reggie is my masseur. I've heard great things about the other masseuses too but Reggie is my guy! As for the the spa, it is always quiet and clean, and the receptionists I've met have all been extremely friendly whether scheduling with me on the phone or checking me in / out. The spa uses an online scheduling system that sends you reminders and invoices. There is also plenty of street parking available near the spa if you're driving. Give Body Bliss Beyond a try and you won't regret it! I will update my review if anything else comes up.

Our new hidden gem! I was searching for a black owned spa and I happened upon Body Bliss. I read through the reviews and said I need to experience this place for myself. My birthday weekend was coming up so I decided why not drive to D.C. and get pampered. Therefore I booked a relaxing experience for me and my husband. We are so glad we did! Our Body Bliss experience started with Tamika who invited us in and made sure that we were fully pampered from the beginning to the end of our experience. Thank you, Tamika! We began our couples message. That is when we meet Sahara and Nyah. OMG! We wanted to take them home. They helped us understand what “relax” really means. They really know their craft and were extremely knowledgeable. They explained everything as they went along. I could go on and on but my best advice would be to go try it out for yourself!

I definitely wanted to keep supporting B.O.B. but my last visit was a disappointment. The prices have gotten a bit steep, i imagine post pandemic, and some of the staff members were less than professional. Unfortunately I will not be returning!

My book club and I planned a private day party at Body Bliss and Beyond which was the perfect setting for what we had planned! Each member of the group (10 of us) had the opportunity to get any services we desired based on our individual liken. We had the full spa to ourselves and were not rushed in getting our treatments nor leaving the facility. The staff made our experience even more fun with their friendly and professional customer service. The price was right for the 1 hour massage however I learned later that I could have extended my time for additional treatment...but I guess I had to consider the group (side eye)..lol My only recommendations are the ability to shower afterward, supply courtesy infused water, and a brief consultation to advise the therapist of any personal concerns. I (we) will definitely continue to support this establishment....We’ve been blissed!

I didn't actually go to this place, but a friend and I dropped off my cousin for a couple's massage and they said they enjoyed it. I thought the staff was friendly when paying for the service. Only downfall was that as out of towners it was kind of hard to find parking. So I would recommend talking to the staff about parking beforehand.

My husband and I just had a couples massage and we really enjoyed every minute of it. Our masseuse, Cody and Rasyl ( I think that's her name) did a wonderful job. The infrared sauna was great also. The only negative thing we have is the people who works at the reception area. When we walked in, we didn't feel welcomed. When we were getting ready to leave, the receptionist did ask how our sessions were but it just didn't seem sincere and it's like something that she just had to say because it's part of her job. I also had a hard time scheduling. I had to call 3 or 4 times before I was able to speak to someone to set up the appointment. Other than that, we enjoyed our massage. I also appreciate the fact that they took us in earlier that our appointment, since we got there early. The place didn't look much outside but it's definitely much better inside. The ambience was much better and relaxing.

I visited this location for a Sweedish massage on my birthday last month, and was thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. Camay was extremely skilled with her hands and tailored the massage session around the areas of my body that were most tight and tense. The ambiance (lighting, music, temperature, etc.) was on point and instantly put me in a relaxed and calm mood. I will surely be back again soon for a follow-up massage, and highly recommend this place for a therapeutic experience!

I enjoyed the Triple Delight package (Massage, Aqua Chi and Infrared sauna) given to me by Reggie & staff. They're excellent! Gentle and caring. A great massage & the best massage as of yet. He knew just what to do and it all felt heavenly! I'm still reveling in the feelings and memory of it. It's a charming place. Its clean and comfortable. I felt so good there. Staff if fantastic. Services were great. My sister and I both felt completely comfortable and enjoyed every minute of it. We had no problem getting an appointment- even when I called at 11pm the night before! Then when I had to reschedule the day of my appointment, they were so understanding and worked with me to get me in later in the day. I would definitely recommend Body Bliss! UPDATE: Went back last weekend. Tira and Sula (I might be massacring the spelling of those names) were fantastic. They asked what our trouble spots were, and then actually focused on those spots! I walked out feeling like a new person. We will be going back and requesting them.

I absolutely loved my experience at Body Bliss. I got a Groupon for my boyfriend and I to receive a couples massage and sauna session. The staff was very professional and friendly. Making the appointment was a breeze, I even got a call to see if I could come in earlier. Once we arrived I was amazed by what was inside. I must admit it is not in the best neighborhood but that is one of the things I love about DC, surprises around every corner. Do not let the poster board signage fool you, the interior and decor is extremely relaxing. The massage therapist were talented and personalized each treatment. I would recommend this spa to anyone who wants to get away from reality for a bit. I am so grateful to have experienced the wonderful time I had. I cannot wait to go back next month.

Today my daughter and I went to body bliss for the first time. If was clean and relaxing, however we sat around along time before our messages started, then I didn't get the one I wanted but biscuit did, we booked together and come in together but didn't receive the same treatment after I brought it to the owners attention, I think he could have said oh since you waited a half an hour and you didn't get the service you want how about a discount on your next massage not he just said oh it must have been an oversight, so I won't be going back!!!

Although the receptionist displayed very poor skills, my friend and I really enjoyed the full body massage and sauna service. The environment was very comforting and peaceful. This is a great place to go in to relax and put your mind and body at ease. I'd most defiantly be going back again.

My significant other and I went for a couple's massage and while mine was ok (I prefer firm pressure and identified specific pain areas that didn't get much relief), he stated that his therapist, Raven was awesome. He raved about her so much that I will be making an appointment with her myself. I had no issues making an appointment or using my Living Social deal and everyone there spoke and was pleasant. Our appointment started later than it should have but they still gave us the full time, which was a concern that I had initially. In summary, if you have realistic expectations and your head is not so far up your behind that you expect Rodeo Drive in DC, you will not be disappointed! We will be back for more bliss.

I was very nervous, but Mr. Taylor went out of his way to make me feel comfortable, a true professional. AWESOME!!! AWESOME!!! AWESOME!!! Is all that I can say! I've had many of massages but none has been quite like Reggie"s. I've found my new therapist ;-) I have been in search of a consistent therapist but none in sight until I went to Body Bliss Suites and found my haven. The place is nice and serene with the sounds of light waterfall falling from the fountain with the blissful sounds of enchanting music from the rooms putting me in a soothing relaxing mood. Usually I do not post reviews of my experiences with Establishments, but do keep up with reviews of some of the places I patronize. There is a recent post on here from Luria Wright complaining about her experience with a massage therapist that I have used frequently. You started your review by stating you knew you weren't going to be seen due to your lateness. "OKKAAYYY". The young lady (Camay Morgan) that you complained about has only been professional during my massages with an impeccable attitude. The Owner, who I have also met seemed to be an Owner that follows-up and follows-through with requests. I'm sorry your experience was a negative one, but please give them another try, it will be well worth your time. Also remember everybody's time is important.....BE ON TIME!!!!!!!!!

I received a gift card from a friend for a 60 minute massage. Made my appointment over the phone with no complications and was e-mailed to confirm/remind me I didn't have to wait at all when I arrived and Reggie sat me down to consult about my needs. I appreciated that he asked what specific parts I wanted to focus on and areas of concern. The massage itself was great- even though I wish i had a 90min, Reggie asked for feedback on pressure every so often to make sure I was comfortable because I need deeeeep pressure and I definitely got what I asked for. After the massage, he gave me a glass of water to help flush out toxins and told me I might be a little sore the next day. All in all, a solid massage with a highly qualified professional!

If you're using a Groupon you'll be hard pressed to book an appointment. I ended up buying a reg $80 50 min session. My masseuse provided a relaxing rub down. I wouldn't consider it a massage, swedish or otherwise. To sum up the experience, she rubbed a LOT of oil on me then rubbed it in different body parts, sometimes using her forearm to rub for variety I guess 🤷🏽‍♀️. Bottom line, if you want a relaxing rub come here. If you want a therapeutic massage, go elsewhere.

I wanted to do something special for my SweetHeart. As working parents of three. Time together is not only a must but add relaxing and rejuvenating and you have hit a homerun. So I went on @groupon to find a locally owned spa. I picked a couples massage. Now this was my first time experiencing a massage of any type. We received an hour full-body massage and 30mins. infrared sauna. Although this was my first time I had heard enough to do at least an hour. And Man was I right! I don't know if it's cause I'm 6'2" but I think 30min. massage would have just made me mad. The technicians were very professional. They let us know what they were going to do before they did it and checked on us to make sure the pressure was good. The only thing that stopped me from giving them a full 5 stars is little add on like maybe a selection of essential oils to be in the room while receiving the massage. They may have that but was not offered to us due to the Groupon. I am look forward to doing it again in the next couple od months! @_Unk_RP YelpElite

I purchased a Groupon for a 60 minute massage at Body Bliss and am so glad I did! The spa was a little out of the way but very much worth it. When I arrived filled out a form detailing my needs and issues as well as the amount of pressure I liked, etc. Reggie paid close attention to my needs and gave me one of the best massages I've ever had. He worked out all my tension - he has a way of finding knots I didn't even know that I had. After he worked on one part of my body he would wrap it in warm towels to soothe me even further. Heaven! The spa itself is very calming on the inside - dark colors and soothing music, with nice little nibbles if you're hungry. Don't hesitate to book a massage with Body Bliss - you will not be disappointed. As Reggie said when I left "Come back soon - you gotta get your pamper on!"

Overall it was good customer service ! The massage therapist I happened to have was TEXTING THE ENTIRE TIME, I could tell because how are Uu going to give a massage with one hand ? My husband said he heard tapping but he thought she was just checking the time , I began to be jealous of my husbands massage because I was not being fulfilled , not being cheap I left a good tip based on the groupon voucher saying so but I do not think she personally deserved the tip. In alll customer service was well place was clean but my massage was less than average.... Disappointed

Don't let the outside of the building trick you, you are about to walk into H-E-A-V-E-N!!! My body is tingling and my heart is fluttering just thinking about this place!! Background: I am a massage snob, I like a real massage and not just an oily rub. Experience: As I mentioned before, absolutely divine!!! They bring you back to the room and it is your nice, typical, clean bed, calming music. Reggie started me face down, ask you the typical question about areas of concerns, and start WITH A SCALP MASSAGE!! Ahhhhhh~~ the rest of the massage consists of magic fingers , forearms, and elbows working through your neck, shoulders, arms, legs, EVERYTHING!! I probably slept and drool about half the time I get the massages here!! Then you lazily flip onto your back as your therapist continues to work your neck, shoulders, back. They even throw in a couple of hot towels with all of their massages. Therapist: I prefer male therapists, so Reggie is by far my favorite. But I have never had a negative experience with any other therapists. The owner makes sure that all the therapists goes through the same training to ensure the quality and it shows!! Conclusion: I have been to a handful of other massage spas in the DMV area and I always go back to Body Bliss. This will definitely be a place I will miss if I ever leave the area.
