I have been seeing Christin pretty much monthly for over three years now. That should speak for itself. She is compassionate, empathetic, professional, and intuitive with her massage style. She is also cool to talk to. Last week, though, I had a massage from one of her new massage therapists. While Veronica appears tiny and shy, she has surprisingly strong hands and even stronger forearms. The pressure was just right, yet she would periodically ask for feedback on how she was doing. I was very impressed and pleased with my 90-minute massage and look forward to seeing Veronica or Christin again real soon. If you want a change from the corporate, robotic massage places, you should see them soon too.

The receptionist Christine was very polite and professional. The masseuse Veronica was excellent. She gave a great massage. She incorporated hot stones and cupping along with deep tissue massage using her hands and elbow expertly. I would definitely recommend her and Essential Kneads.

Veronica was really kind, and knowledgeable. I left feeling relaxed and ready for a nap. I especially enjoyed the different techniques used during my massage because it was my first one. Christin gave me a great 30 minute localized massage for my back pain. She really took her time and made sure she applied the right amount of pressure to help the healing process. She even gave me some tips for stretching at home to continue the healing process. I highly recommend her, and would definitely make another appointment.

This was probably the best massage I ever got. I left there feeling like a king and my aches and pains were massaged into oblivion. From the initial greeting when I entered the building, to the ambiance set in the room, everything was on point and culminated an experience unlike any other I’ve had up here on the east coast. I saw Julie for a massage after not getting one for over a year. I recently started a new job in the OR and have been on my feet constantly, which aggravated the lower back pain I experience due to scoliosis. Julie listened to my concerns and used several techniques (massage, hot stones, cupping) to help alleviate the discomfort. I was sore for a couple days afterward but now I feel like a million bucks! I will definitely be going back for maintenance care!

I do not complain much about how I feel but I have noticed a lot of good things happening with these treatments from Christin. I feel better, a lot better. Less aches and pains and a lot less stress. Really cute massage studio! Comfortable and inviting! But of course the most important part is the massage itself... which was fantastic! Great attention to detail, communication about pressure and what areas need special attention, and really awesome technique! My muscles felt like new and on top of that I was so relaxed I almost fell asleep. My work is very physically demanding and my massage was exactly what I needed to recover! Highly recommended!

This place is great. Julie was awesome! She's super knowledgeable. I felt like she actively listened to my notes on my problem areas, and addressed them. I’ve had sore shoulders and neck from at-home boxing during quarantine, and she did an amazing job working those knots out. I felt fresh hitting the bag the next day.

I am always comfortable and cared for. She is knowledgeable and has many different techniques, different approaches to dealing with my sources of pain. I enjoy the cupping, deep tissue and she always eases up in the most sensitive areas. It is a great experience and most of all, I always walk out of there in better shape, like I'm 20 years younger. I have noticed a big difference since I started treatment. I am a musician and hurt my hand, she has been an intricate part of it's recovery. That is the least of it. She has made getting around in my skin bearable again. The conversation is always good and we don't talk the whole time but the experience is always cool either way! I am grateful to Essential Kneads!!!

Every experience I have had with Christin at Essential Kneads has been beyond exceptional. The ambiance alone is therapeutic and will immediately relax you. Christin is very knowledgeable of the anatomy of muscle and has a healing touch which caused me to drift in and out of consciousness.
