Great massage. Celio is very attentive and knowledgeable. He listened when I described the pain I've developed working from home for two years and knew exactly how to tailor the massage to alleviate those problems. He checked in throughout the massage and adjusted his pressure when needed. The atmosphere was very relaxing. It was exactly the therapeutic massage I needed and I will be going back.

Best massage I've ever had in my life! I am visiting from out of town and was feeling super tense and uncomfortable, so I was excited to find Celio's massage option a 10 min walk from my hotel. He was very attentive, communicative, and found knots in muscles that I had no idea were giving me trouble. Only downside is now I have to go try to find a similarly awesome experience back home in my town! Maybe I'll just come visit LA more often.

Life changing. My girlfriend had found Celio in 2021 and has been going to him regularly. She always tells me how great it makes her feel. Great experience! Made me feel comfortable and welcomed feedback to find the best focus for the session. I had extremely tight muscles in my shoulders, neck and back. The hour massage helped a lot to relax those muscles and regain motion. Celio was a helpful resource for understanding places I didn’t even know I was holding tension and explained about pressure points that helped me understand some causes of my nerve pain. Particularly his focus on the back of my neck helped relieve tension that often gives me headaches. Note I was surprised when walking up because I wasn’t expecting a small studio in back, but the space is lovely!

Celio most certainly knows the ins and outs of his craft and in addition, he is possibly the most personable massage therapist I've visited. The last time I had any massage treatment was before the first wave of COVID lockdowns but Celio managed to work through nearly three years' worth of accumulated muscle tension over the course of just a couple sessions. If I were being selfish, I would hope that Celio's practice stays a local secret so I can still book sessions with him in the future since I bet those spots will go flying once the word spreads. He deserves recognition for his work though so I'll say that if you choose to pay Celio a visit, you will be glad you did.

I was in town for Christmas and had a chronic ankle issue flare up right before a big trip to Mexico. I knew I had to get it worked on right away, but I didn't know any massage or physical therapists in LA. I took the risk of finding someone on Google Maps even though I normally prefer recommendations from friends. I was more than pleasantly surprised...Celio is AMAZING! I wish I could take him to Mexico with me to continue working on my ankle :) He is more than a regular massage therapist -- he really knows anatomy and is intuitive with the human body. His pressure and manipulations were super effective but not painful. I could tell that he really cares about his clients and that he enjoys the work that he does. He was fun to talk to and gave me lots of useful information about my body's needs and quirks as he worked on me. As a woman going to a male massage therapist for the first time, I'm not always 100% comfortable, but Celio was SUPER professional at every moment and I felt at ease. 1000% will be going back next time I'm in LA.

But if you want to work on addressing the causes of your tightness and pain, he can help you understand that as well. I had one of the best massages ever as Célio is very attentive to the specific needs of each client. He is a massage therapist who really focuses on the area you need attention with instead of lightly going over it and doing the rest of the body. He cared about helping me out of pain. I carry a lot of stress in my upper back and have a curve in my spine so he made sure to try and fix the issue of stiffness. He also makes sure you’re comfortable with the pressure he’s using. Throughout the session (1.5 hours) he constantly ensured he applied the adequate pressure. In addition, you're in for a treat because he is a creative as well. Have been twice for two different sport related issues, and both times have found Celio great at helping me out. One time I went following a back pain due to carrying heavy pack while out backpacking, and another time to help with hamstring issue due to training for a running race. I encourage those with fibromyalgia to book a massage here! I have fibromyalgia, and it has been a struggle to find a massage therapist who understands the condition. I had not gotten a massage in a year because the last time I got one at another massage studio, I was so sore and in bed for a week. However, Celio was amazing! Before the massage, he asked me about my needs and concerns and I filled out paperwork where I mapped out the problematic areas in my body and provided more info about my pain. He did myofascial massage (which I never tried before) and I felt refreshed afterwards. I had more energy, could feel my limbs working better, and overall my terrible muscle aches that I came in with were relieved. My neck, shoulders, arms, and hips feel soooo much better. I will definitely be coming back. It feels so good to have found a massage therapist and technique that works with my fibromyalgia! Thank you Celio, for your kindness and caring approach!

I hold a lot of my stress on my neck and shoulder blades from clenching my teeth at night - even with a nightguard. Before seeing Celio, I experienced major discomfort in an office chair, while standing, and sleeping at night. My chiropractor was not enough. Seeing Celio has made a significant impact on tuning and caring for my body. I also have significant jaw issues where the joints of my jaws pop and lock. With each session, I feel less tightness in my jaw. This would be a great holistic method as opposed to botox for the masseter muscle. Through each season, Celio puts my comfort first and he's such a wonderful person. Celio is a true professional and I am grateful to have a go-to master masseur.

By far the best massage of my life. He took time to make sure the pressure was just right and kept checking in with me to make sure or ask if he could work more firmly in an area that needed more. I’m neurodivergent and have sensory issues especially which touch. He helped me so much 🧡 and even gave me exercise to do at home. Cielo is quite the step above any other masseuse I have been to. He is not just someone that gives massages, but he is someone who can identify areas that are causing you pain (some of which I don’t notice until he touches the area). I got SUCH a good massage! Celio is incredible and is so attentive to your needs. I had a knot in my back that had been bothering me for weeks and he really dug in there to relieve the tension. I have an athletic background with many injuries owing to my previous sporting endeavors. In my time I have had many sports therapy / recovery type massages. Never before however have I met a masseuse who was able to find all my injury points so quickly and precisely. Celio was highly professional throughout the entire process and was constantly checking in with me to ensure I was comfortable and feeling ok. His massage left my whole body feeling better than I can ever remember, his attention to detail on all my injury points was amazing and he ensured he got through all my injuries in our session. I arrived at my session with a migraine, I left without one! 5 stars isn't enough for such a caring and talented human!

I’d had massages at other places this past week and had issues with communication about my appointment time, or massages that were nice, but didn’t have any long lasting effects, but in contrast to that, Celio was very responsive to his texts about his location and I felt like I was already well taken care of before I even got there. Really enjoyed my massage with Celio. His communication pre and after massage is thorough, professional, and mindful. As another reviewer mentioned, after the message, Celio showed me some exercises to do on target muscles after the massage. The massage itself was relaxing but also helped address some tension I was having, which Celio noticed quickly. I enjoyed the ambience (music, lighting, scent, artwork) in the space adjacent to his home. Had no problems with street parking when I went to on the weekend. Overall, a very lovely experience. Highly recommend!

As a former dancer and all-around active person, I have had my fair share of massages in my life and I can say without a doubt that Celio is one of the most knowledgeable and effective body workers I've seen. I am always wary of trying a new therapist because I've had many mediocre massages that never quite get to the root of my issues, but I was in great hands with Celio. I came in with several issues: chronic tendonitis in my foot/leg, some inflammation in my hip and shoulder, and lots of tension in my neck. He concentrated on the areas I needed and kept asking for feedback on the pressure and my comfort level. He found several spots to help ease the tension in my neck and shoulders and even did a little bit of cupping to restore blood flow to an area that was really locked up. I left feeling invigorated and even a little bit taller than when I came in. Besides Celio being simply wonderful and using his knowledge of anatomy to give a fantastic massage, his space is really well thought out and very calming — a little spot of zen nestled in Hollywood.
