Ok, so where do I start. I initially was going to book with another massage company, however, my lash technician sent me an email stating that she’d be introducing massage services at her salon. So, I decided to take a chance because she’s a stickler for A1 services and high quality work. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to experience the heavenly hands of Mr. JD. He is very attentive, detailed, professional, and cares about the desired outcomes of his clients. When I entered my session, I explained to him that I desired a deep tissue massage and that I was experiencing some lower back pain, due to a not so good mattress that I purchased, but that’s another post for another company (side eye). Anywho, Mr. JD hit every pressure point and massaged every cell in my body 😁. To eradicate the lower back pain (that I had upon him working his massage magic) he did 5 second hip stretches that snapped me back into the zone of no pain. My experience was like no other and I will gladly patronize his services in the future.

This was my first professional massage. JD realized my hesitation and went out of his way to make me feel comfortable. He explained the different techniques and how they were used. He was completely professional and I was able to relax. Even though I have nothing directly to compare it to, I know this was one of the best massages I could get. I convinced a friend of mine to try him. She was a member of a big chain massage company and she agreed JD gave the best massage. If there’s a downside, it’s only that he cannot control completely the environment around because the location is in an apartment complex. He offers mobile service so that can eliminate that issue if it’s a concern. I highly recommend JD Muscle Release and I will be a regular client going forward.

Hands down one of the best massages I’ve ever had. I enjoy deep tissue & got exactly what I wanted. He really does have magic hands & knows all the pressure points to release all the tension. He even talked me through deep breathing on some areas which helped a lot and amazing attention to detail. My experience: Initially I had contacted someone else who was booked; It worked in favor because I called JD next. I will tell you, JD was great! I had shown up 10 minutes late to my appointment (GPS issues), called him to let him know, in turn he sounded calm and totally OK about it and actually thanked me for letting him know. Showed up & signed some forms (at this point 20 minutes past my initial scheduled appointment time). Getting into the room, I expected him to ask what my problem areas were and then jumping on the table quickly to get to work. He did ask where my problem area(s) were, but ALSO, took the time to explain as to why I may be feeling this pain; Followed with a skeletal model he used to show me. Wow!!! First massage by JD Muscle Release. JD has an amazing ability to find where your tension is hiding and he gets rid of it. His deep knowledge of anatomy, enables him to go beyond alleviating the symptoms to the actual source of the problems, which is not obvious to just anyone. Finding a good therapist that meets the basic needs is simple . BUT finding an EXPERT, a true MASTER of his craft, a GREAT therapist with passion is undeniably not so easy. JD was very professional and courteous. He even suggested some exercises to strengthen my core, as well as explained a diagram of the body in which I was experiencing pain from an MV accident. Mr. Brooks is a skilled professional who provides excellent therapeutic massage. I had my first appointment with him yesterday and will be a recurring, regular client. It is difficult to find a massage therapist who is not mediocre. I have tried numerous massage therapists in the Spring/Cypress/Woodlands area and Mr. Brooks is the by far the best. Best massage I've ever had! After 30+ years of office work sitting at a desk and before a computer, I was developing the dreaded "hunch back." My posture had deteriorated, and I had considerable back pain along with not being able to stand/walk straight. I knew I needed something other than a "feel good" massage. JD's massages are actually theraputic. He knows what he is doing and listens to your concerns. He even suggested simple exercises to do to help my situation. Jonah is really knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to where your pains and tension are. I needed a lot of work done to my body since my body has a lot tensions and pains everywhere and Jonah had relieved those tensions. He would ask you in the beginning about uncomfortable spots to avoid and the levels of pressure. I had told him that he is allow to apply deep pressures everywhere because it helps me relieve the tensions. He would ask you here and there if you are still 'alive'. It's to make sure your heart is still breathing. Jonah is great and sweet and would definitely relieved any discomfort you have. I would totally recommend Jonah to anyone!
