My husband and I had a couple’s massage at Summer’s Massage Therapy today. We both were extremely pleased! Michael used arms, elbows and hands to work the tension out of my neck and shoulders and knots in my back and legs. I have had many massages but none have been anything close to the massage I experienced today. We live 45 minutes away and there are many options closer but now that we know about this hidden gem, we will never go anywhere else.

Such a good massage. The gentleman helped me even though I was late (I got a little lost) and gave me my full massage. He focused on my problem areas and was amazing. He gave me tips and tricks for how to stretch out my shoulder. Will for sure be back.

I booked a 1 hour couple’s massage for me and my husband. After we arrived, the lady at the front desk did not say welcome or anything. She had a phone in her hand and asked if the name on the screen was us. We said yes. She started walking towards a room without saying anything, so we assumed we should be following her. After we got into a “suite” she just told us to take everything off and lay down. The room/suite felt very compacted, too dark and just not a place where either me and my husband could relax. Anna was the one that gave my husband a massage. He wasn’t satisfied at all afterwards. He said she was all over the place and didn’t focus on one area at the time. He wasn’t able to truly relax at all. Michael was the one that gave me a massage and I was happy & satisfied afterwards. He truly did a great job, focused on areas that I said and I felt like a new person after. I will say I wasn’t able to fully relax as I normally do when I get a massage at a different place. I didn’t feel that connection that I otherwise feel. Another thing I didn’t like that was distracting was loud noises they would make with hot stones or walking out and back in the room. It’s apparent that there’s a language barrier at this place that we noticed right away after arriving to our appointment, but sometimes all it takes is a genuine smile to make your guests feel welcome at your place of business. We won’t be returning.

Sophia gave me, quite possibly, the best massage I've EVER received. She really dug her elbow deep into my muscles and it felt so good. I highly recommend Summer's Massage Therapy.

Cici and Sophia were amazing! I booked two, 60 minute deep tissue massages for myself and my fiance. They both were attentive and even though petite, they really got into the tight knots. We both left knowing we'd be feeling it in the morning, but it was definitely needed. We will definitely be returning!!

By far the greatest massage experience I have ever had. I was treated exceptionally despite being a bit late to the appointment, and Summer is the only massage therapist I have seen that has actually been able to alleviate the knots and pain in my back. Ci Ci is awesome! She knows what she is doing to relieve the pain a person is experiencing! She was very understanding and concerned about the painful areas of discomfort! Anyone who has had a bad experience with Ci Ci is a person who will never be happy in life! Ci Ci is a professional massage therapist who can make you well again! I would recommend this business to anyone! It’s well worth the money and cheaper than a chiropractor who makes you keep coming back! Highly recommended in my book! It is averagish. You get the appointments quickly. Had a hard time locating the place as it is actually inside the building of a insurance company. In terms of service, the biggest challenge is trying to understand their instructions. We got a deep tissue massage done and the first half was good but towards the end I felt they rushed just to finish on time. FYI - No first time discount or offers.

Great deep tissue massage!!!!! Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is there were three people booked for Summer all at the same time. Being my first time there I had no preference who gave the massage....Cindy treated me great. Understood english and made it feel like she wanted to make my pain go away!!! I will return!

I had a 90-minute massage with Cici, and it was fantastic!! I can't say enough good things. She found all my tight and sore trigger points. She used her hands, knees, and elbows to work my long muscles. She was very warm and friendly. I have getting massage for many years and this was, by far, the best massage I have ever had. I was thoroughly impressed. I will be back!

My mother, sister and I had massages from Summer, CiCi, and Sophia. One of the best deep tissue massages I've ever had. Very strong hands, arms. Cici incorporated hot stones. Had never experienced that, and what a relaxing pleasure. My mother is older, and she said her massage was more soft tissue, which suited her quite well. The therapists listened to our concerns and were deep where needed and gentle where not. Very reasonably priced. And I loved the selection of music! A little spa with soft rock. Never thought I would enjoy that blend, but listening to the words in the songs help be to relax even more. Try Summer's Massage! You won't regret.

I just got back today from a 3 week vacation in the UK. We had done a lot of walking every day, causing a lot of pain in my calves. Scheduled an appointment this morning with Summer, and it was hands down the best massage I've ever had. Did the couple's massage and my husband had CiCi. The pair of them have us both an intense (as requested) deep tissue massage, delivering the best massage my husband has ever had as well. We've found our place! These ladies will work all of your pain out, while making sure you're comfortable. Rates are very competitive, and they are worth it!

Sophie was my Massage Therapist. I got an outstanding massage!!! I got a one hour deep tissue massage. I wished I would have gotten 90 minutes or more. She worked on the pain in my lower back and did pressure point work on my feet. My massage was over to quickly. I would highly recommend her massage. I will be back next week.

Best Massage I have had in 15 years! I almost gave up trying to find someone capable of the depth and pressure I like . Being a therapist myself, I appreciate the effort needed to produce a great massage where such pressure is needed to break up knotted tissue..It is hard work! Summer made it seem easy and will find spots that are sore that you didn't know existed...awesome!!! Will definitely be back.

I had a deep tissue massage with CiCi today that was by far the best massage I’ve ever had! She knows where the trigger spots are and works very hard to workout the tenderness! I always go to Summers when I'm in need of some R&R. I've seen most of the massage therapists in Urbandale and they are all amazing. They are not afraid to dig in and help release that tension in the muscles. They are comparably priced with other places in the area.

I recently went to Cici for my first massage. I have frequent neck and shoulder pain from overuse at my job. Cici made me feel relaxed even while she worked on my sore shoulders. She is very knowledgeable and gave me tips to use at home to ease the pain when needed. I can honestly say I am feeling loose and pain free. I can't wait to go back. Highly recommend!

CiCi does a fantastic job. I drive two hours just to get a massage by her! She creates a comfortable and relaxing environment and delivers deep pressure to relieve my pain. I struggle with neck pain and have very tight muscles along my neck and shoulder. CiCi is the only massage therapist who has been able to relieve my pain and decrease my migraines. CiCi listens to what you need and delivers exactly that! Hands down, the best massage therapist! I will continue driving two hours to see her- well worth it!

WOW. I feel great after a deep tissue massage. I had back surgery a few years ago and still suffer some pain and stiffness. After this massage I can move freely and the pain is mostly gone. though I live in Phoenix I'd gladly to travel back to Iowa for a massage.

I am on the web trying to get to have a massage with Summer, so I can go to AZ for the long winter without her to give me the best massage I have ever received. Summer's has hands, feet and even her elbows to correct areas the are in need of her great massages. I know I will not find and massages in Yuma. AZ or even Mexico while we winter there to even come close to what she gives her clients. I know, as I have tried for a few years to get a massage like hers, its not there apparently!!!

I go to Summer's at least once every few months - probably not as often as I should! I had a 90 minute massage with CiCi. I do a lot of biking and weights, and I tend to be very tight in the shoulders. CiCi seemed to know exactly how much pressure to use to work out the tension without causing pain. She checked with me several times to make sure that the level of pressure was ok. They have changed the website, which makes it even easier to schedule a massage. I would highly recommend CiCi, especially if you are looking for a massage that will loosen up those areas of tension that you just can't stretch.

I had a delightful massage today after a 8 day bus trip wore me down. I related to the quality using a score of 1 to 10 that start with Bo Derek movie and poster in a swim suit in 1979. Summer's hands, arms, and her delightful feet get a resounding 15 on the scale. I don't know where she got her talent, but I have never received a massage of this quality and results in over 20 years of massages and over 4 years with Summer

I've had great massages from summer. Today I paid 50% cash and 50% card. The massage was OK not great. I would have no issue tipping 20%. After the massage I was demanded that I have to pay 20% tip. That to me felt unprofessional.

Pat did an awesome job. She found that perfect balance of relaxing and yet still worked on knots and things in my back and legs to help me feel loose and free. Other places I've been it's either relaxing but afterwards still have the knots/aches or it's terribly painful and my back feels good and loose the next day. CiCi gave me one of the best massages I have ever had. I booked for 60 minutes. 30 minutes into the massage, I wanted 90 minutes and she gave it to me. If you call or book online, CiCi. That's it and that's all!

Summer's can be a bit hard to find (it is in the building with H&R Block advisors) but Cri Cri at Summer's is the best in town. It's amazing how strong her hands are, she can work out the most stubborn knots. She is also very patient and doesn't rush just because it takes some time to work a problem area out. She just patiently keeps coming back to it until it's all better. Whether you are looking for relaxation or you have pain, I recommend Cri Cri.
