This was “hands down“ the best massage I have ever had! Deon has a very pleasant bedside manner and exudes professionalism. I am 5’10 and nearly 240 pounds, it’s amazing what someone his size and stature can do! I felt very comfortable and at ease throughout. It’s unbelievable how quickly 90 minutes passed. I’ve had MANY massages. I have about two a month.. I relocated to Atlanta and was in search of a new masseuse. I found Art of Wellness on IG and booked an appointment just based on the videos posted. No idea that this would be THEE best massage I’ve had. Typically I’m left with instructions for after care, ( epsom salt bath and morning stretches) because all the kinks could not be adjusted during my session.. I left this session KNOT-LESS. I have been receiving massages for about a year now. Attention to detail is key. I never realize just how tense my body is until Deon finds all the tense spots and massages that all out. The technique, the stretches, the right amount of pressure, the hot towels and stones make it the whole experience amazing. He definitely works out ALL the kinks. Through out the quarantine the mobile massages were perfect for me, but his spot in Smyrna is cool too. Deon is serious about his craft and I will continue to make this a part of my self care routine.

I have been lucky enough to be a client of Deon’s for MANY years (10ish, is that right Deon???) He is the most versatile, intuitive therapist that I have ever experienced. No two massages have ever been exactly the same because in the session he reads how your body responds, and address the issues that need attention. If I’ve done a big shoulder workout, he concentrates there, if I’ve done a long drive he addresses the muscles that affects, he even fixes me when I sleep wrong. This was my first 3 hour massage experience…and it was otherworldly. I left so relaxed and light it was like I was floating. Even Atlanta traffic couldn’t mess with my vibe. The whole experience was wonderful. He is a master who is always perfecting his craft.

Deon is an amazingly talented, mindful & skilled professional massage therapist. I typically struggle with persistent neck & shoulder pain that I’ve learned to live with over the years & treat with massage therapy. Massages have for the most part always felt good, but I still felt some tightness afterwards. Then I met Deon…after time on Deon’s table I can honestly say that I’m pretty immediately relieved from that pain. Not only is his touch absolutely magical, he has created a beautiful space that is so comfortable & inviting (the music is really dope too.) Deon is extremely patient and attentive to his clients. When I started with him my body was tight, tense, fibromyalgia and pain ridden. After about a month with him I can move, the pain is much less and my flexibility is returning. He has truly whispered my body in shape.
