My Porsche's door lock was damaged from an attempted break-in. Thomas arrived within the hour, and was able to unlock the door in 20 minutes. He was very courteous, knowledgeable, and it was a pleasure talking to him as he went through the process. I was charged exactly as quoted over the phone. I highly recommend Fast Locksmith for honest, professional help at very reasonable prices.

I wanted a spare car key remote programmed and its mechanical key cut. I called around for quotes. Dealer referred me to a locksmith who quoted me $600 and if he wasn't successfully able to that he would charge me $114 for "wasting his time" 🤣. Another locksmith quoted me $247.50. Finally found Fast Locksmith; spoke with Michel on the phone who quoted me $135 and scheduled me the same day with Tony. I met with Tony who was able to successfully program and cut my keys in a timely manner. 5/5. Oh and he wasn't going to charge me a fee for wasting his time like the dealer's referral.

My key gave out and I utilized this company by referral through my mechanic. I had some issues with my key because it had a defect and couldn't get in contact with them due to having a phone number error. Cost me a few hundred but that easily would've been double if I had it towed to a dealership and paid a dealership for the same. They were friendly on the phone and in person and very professional. If you’re looking for prompt, incredibly expert and reliable Locksmith service, and a reasonable price, look no further than FAST LOCKSMITH. New to the area, we stumbled into calling them without a recommendation, based entirely on internet recommendations. We got lucky. The door to out condo had an old, upscale lock built into the door. Problem: the key was increasingly difficult to extract, requiring the use of a pliers. Itamar of FAST LOCKSMITH rekeyed the lock to our existing keys, checking to make sure each key worked perfectly. Responding to my question of why it broke, Itamar explained that the block had been rekeyed in thepast and the prior locksmith had used the wrong shape pins which allowed the key to easily go in and work the lock, but trapped the key once inserted. Clearly, Itamar had expertise other professionals lacked. I also asked noted that we had an interior door with an “obvious key slot” in the knob, for which we had no key. Itamar could tell at a glance that the apparent key slot was not a real lock (but internally a bathroom type) and passed on the opportunity to increase the charge by showing me how to open it.

Once the locksmith arrived, he was quick and friendly. However, it took him 1 hour to get to me, and I was only a 5 minute drive from their store. They told me it may be 30-40 mins, and he was still 20 mins late. Update to reply to vendor: I understand that unforeseen circumstances occur. However, for a $140 price tag on what was a very quick job (5mins, tops) and took little effort or equipment (a couple air pads and a hanger), that he was late for, it didn't feel good from a customer perspective. Note to future customers: After having that experience, I did look elsewhere and there are much more cheeply priced locksmiths ($50-$75 range instead of 140) that would be better for you.

Great service. Nate Atius arrived within the scheduled time block and called when he was about 15 minutes away. While I didn’t know it, I have a smart lock, which I learned was anti-pick, etc. But, Nate drew from his years of experience and was able to re-key the lock. He worked very efficiently and skillfully. I will definitely use Fast Locksmith and Nate’s services again should I need them.

I used this company today to re-key two locks on the front door on my new home. They sent out a tech who was apparently part of an overflow company that they use when they don't have enough techs. I didn't know this until afterward though. His name was Itamar (he told me Isaac). He made me extremely uncomfortable by flirting with me, clearly preying on me as I am a young woman and was in the home by myself. He then told me he would give me a deal if I paid the company for re-keying 1 lock, and then Venmoing him $30. Basically, he's screwing over his own company to get cash directly in his wallet. You can see on his Venmo profile that he has done this to dozens of other women, too. I knew this was a scam and super sketchy, but I was so uncomfortable and just wanted him out of my house, so I did it. I called Fast Locksmith right after he left to report his behavior. They refunded me immediately and followed up to let me know they reported him to his supervisor. I am thankful for Fast Locksmith for how they handled the situation, but giving 3 stars for having to encounter this. Ladies, please be careful and don't let yourselves get taken advantage of!

Working with Fast Locksmith was easy from start to finish. I locked myself out of my apartment and after my initial panic gave them a call. They quoted me a price before they came out which was nice and Ben came within 30 to 40 mins. He got me back in my apartment in no time and even fixed my loose door handle. I had to get a new transponder key which the insurance provided locksmith quoted $595, the dealership quoted $700 and had to be towed there. Tony from Fast Locksmith came to my house and made me 2 transponder keys, and a routine spare for $290 total. Tony was extremely polite, courteous and I could tell he cared about the plight of the customer. Remember this is a terribly costly emergency to not have a special key to drive your vehicle, and a locksmith has to remove part of the dash and reprogram your system. This is an outstanding company, and you would be extremely remiss if you were to not choose them and pay full contracted price.

My technician was Tony and he was fantastic! I had to get a remote key made and needed an internet connection, so he suggested that I use my phone as a hot spot since we were in a parking deck. Exceptional customer service.. Had a question about getting some car keys cut and had some problems with a local hardware store that won't cut keys unless I buy theirs - which, of course are 10 times more than where I got mine. Ronny was amazing! Drove out to Rockville, waited for me when I was running late and replaced the keys I had lost to my 1973 VW Super Beetle. Both the ignition and door locks and also made the door locks the same and gave me a spare! Patient, diligent and helped me drive my antique mobile again! I have a Nissan Pathfinder that required a new electronic control unit (ECU). The dealer wanted $2200 to repair the car which included a new ECU and reprograming the ECU to recognize the old keys. I installed a used one and called Fast Locksmithing to reprogram the ECU and keys. Tony arrived and reprogramed the ECU unit and coded keys to match. It saved me a lot of money. I could not be happier with Fast Locksmithing and especially Tony. The guy is an expert and provides good customer service. Thank you for a great experience.

Ben was a lifesaver when I was locked out of a home that I was dogsitting for, with the pup locked inside.
