Got locked out of my car because there were worn wafers in the door lock that finally just stopped working. John helped me with it on three separate occasions: getting my car unlocked initially, fixing the lock and cutting a new key, and ordering/replacing the fob which had also gone bad. Definitely a huge headache avoided as well as a trip to the dealer which would have been WAY more expensive than all three of these visits combined. John was super helpful and response times were awesome. Couldn’t be happier!

Alex came out to make me a new key for my 98 4Runner. I had lost the key quite a while back and it was long overdue to get her up and running again. This was my first step. I called the customer service # and was told I’d get a call back shortly. Alex followed through on that and was polite, professional and to the point (just the way I like my customer service!). He showed up on the early end of the window provided (window was 4-6pm and he showed up around 4:45pm). Again, it was easy and straight to the point. Took him less than an hour and I was able to pay with my card and get on with my night! JC, the supervisor of the dispatch office, answered my phone call immediately. He was very directive and helpful. We got our car fixed within 45 minutes. He sent someone out quickly. Fantastic service from this company! Someone stole my purse the other day, which included my car keys. With no backup key or master key- most other locksmiths either requested some sort of ID from me (which I couldn’t provide because my wallet was stolen) or needed me to tow the car to them (which was too expensive ). It’s been hell on wheels the past few days trying to figure this mess out. However, Alex was able to come to where my car was located, unlock the vehicle , and assist with creating 3 new keys for me at a reasonable price for the amount of work that was needed . The service was excellent. Our dead bolt has totally broke on us and it wasn’t coming out. The technician came out on Sunday within 1.5 hrs and fixed it. It was a stubborn one but after about an hour worth of work it got fixed. Loved the service!!!

I'm mainly giving this place a 5 star because Robert Knignt was so incredibly great to work with. originally I waited about 3 hours for someone to come make a key for my car. I guess they were unable to reach my original technician. My phone was dying and I was at least 30 minutes away from my house. after calling one last time, my Robert knight in shining armor was able to get to me within 25 minutes, was very thorough in explaining the process and was prompt due to knowing my situation and that my phone was at 3% and I was alone by my car at night, no where near home. his personality was welcoming and also helped alleviate my stress by making me laugh. even though it took me 3 and a half hours to get back in my car, Robert helped me not feel so stressed in the end. great job!

Locked myself out of my apartment with my daughter pretty late at night. Robert came out to assist. The response time was very quick. He checked out the lock and opened the door for us in about 2 minutes. I was able to get my daughter inside and ready for bed. While he very professionally and quickly was able to make me two keys and rekey the door lock. We had a faulty door lock and Sam with Locksmith Plus came over exactly when he said he could arrive. He quickly figured out the problem, found a replacement part in his truck, fixed it. Then he even went above and beyond and said he noticed our lock bolt was getting caught on plate in the door frame, so he fixed that, too. It all took under an hour and he was gracious, courteous and nice the whole time. It was even less than I thought it was going to cost. So happy our front door is now fixed and it works great. If you have a lock problem, call these guys and ask for Sam. He'll help you out.

I locked myself out despite my best efforts to prevent that with lanyard (lanyard broke on the train :) Any-way Robert, was there to help before I could probably fall into a total panic attack. He had me inside under 5 minutes. Now I'm not over stating things here at all. He LITERALLY saved my life. I have a medical condition that requires ... medication. Without said medication I could die. His quick response and professionalism not only got me inside my home and comfrotable, but saved me a trip to the hospital .... which is always a gamble these days. "Are you here to seek drugs?". "No sir I don't take narcotics, but I would prefer not to die from the disease you have 20 years of records detailing. Feel free to deny me care, and see what your licensing board and insurance provider think of all this." ... Ohhh, what is it you needed help with again? So there you have it. My love for Robert and the services he provides, and my "complicated" relationship with the medical world. Also I'm sure the prices here are very competitive with any other locksmith. I'm just poor, so even if it was $20 I'd be complaining about how much it cost for some stranger to use a bump-key to unlock my door :)

Alex showed up promptly and made a new key onsite, but the new key's stock was too thick for the lock, which was very old, so it didn't work, not surprisingly. Someone had tried to steal my car but failed to do so because they broke their jiggler key inside the ignition. At first it seemed like we would have to replace the whole ignition but Alex, the guy who was dispatched to take of it, was able to fish out a very difficult and deep piece of key that was jamming the ignition. Nick at Locksmith Plus is the best. I had a really tricky issue with my car - the door lock was broken, and my fob didn't work reliably. My master key was also broken, and I only had a valet key to drive with - when I could even get into my car! Several locksmiths were suggesting different ideas that didn't seem like good long-term solutions. Nick at Locksmith Plus, however, immediately proposed a permanent solution and he was able to pull it off perfectly. I was visiting Portland, OR for the first time, staying with a friend south of Burnside Street. When he was at work, I walked over to the local organic gluten free cheese shop for breakfast; however, I quickly realized my mistake. I locked myself out of his apartment. My phone was inside, so I had no access to his number. I looked up local locksmith companies, and I came across the Portland branch of Locksmith Plus, Inc. They took about 43 minutes to come, which the man said was longer than usual. In his defense, he said that they were swamped, and he actually got there sooner than he anticipated. The prices were very fair. When I told my friend about it, he saved their number. I recommend them to anyone in need.
