The tech was fantastic, the dispatch process, not so much. Left message the night before and followed up next morning. Dispatch said next available appointment was 5 days later but would put a word out to the techs to see if it could be expedited. Never got word back. Tech arrived along with a tech from another company I called after not hearing back. Still had to pay the dispatch fee for a simple fix.

I engaged Affordable Lock & Security to replace the entry door hardware and install new locks on my newly purchased home. Gary did a great job walking me through the process. I've been especially busy with work and Gary came out to the house with a large catalog of options for hardware and helped me choose new door hardware and then he returned to handle the installation. He did a great job installing the hardware, cleaned up his work areas, and was incredibly personable. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely consider Affordable Lock in the future.

I only wish I could remember his name as I rarely experience good customer assistance let alone “great” service from our younger generation. I do know he showed all the respect and knowledge he’d been taught. My expectations were met more than once. He gave me a short lesson in lock-smithing that I’ll certainly use in the future. The owner (his father) happened to be available which gave me the opportunity to share what had transpired. We just had Randy Cole finish a call out to our new house and were so pleased with the experience: beginning to end. We called late afternoon on a Friday and Heather, in the main office, was so helpful in getting us an early Monday appointment to ensure we'd have new locks to feel safe and secure in the new house. On the day of the appointment, Randy was prompt, arriving at the top of our scheduled window and calling us in advance to confirm his arrival time-- which was especially helpful to me as I work from home and didn't have to end any calls or meetings when the doorbell rang. Randy was expedient, professional, pleasant, and knowledgeable. He quickly re-keyed three locks AND even helped us problem-solve a sticky door (for which my shoulder is very thankful!). This is the best company I've ever used hands down. I purchased a safe and two door cameras from them and they did an excellent job with deliver, installation, and setup. I even had a small problem problem with the safe ( it turned out that I was doing something wrong, it wasn't the product) and they came out two days later and helped me understand how to open it correctly. I needed a lock on a fence gate that could be locked and opened from either side. Mr. Randy Cole from Affordable Lock & Security Solutions came and looked at the problem and gave me a free estimate. I decided to go ahead with what he suggested. He returned a couple of days later and installed the lock on the gate, which also required adding a bit of wood to the gate and fence so the lock would work. I'm very happy with my new lock and it will make my life much easier. I would definitely recommend this company and Mr. Cole.

My initial phone call was returned right away and they were easily able to come out at a time that worked for me (my situation wasn't urgent so we could schedule it out a few days). The technician was running a little behind the day of my appointment, so he called to let me know and gave me his approximate time of arrival. I encountered a problem with my Sentry home safe. Even with the correct code, the safe would not open and just activated the "Error" lamp. Affordable Lock sent Larry to take care of this. We had to drill out the locking solenoid - that wasn't easy. He did a great job and I would definitely use Affordable Lock again!

After getting ridiculous quotes from the dealers to get a spare keys made for my cars, I spoke to a gentlemen here and he was able to program the remote for my car in less than 10 minutes. What an amazing company. I had bought a brinks safe years ago and ended up losing the key. I had called brinks and they had actually out sourced those safes. They gave me the number of the company and I contacted them and was informed that the company who made the keys actually went out of business and there was nothing they could do. I had contacted several lock smiths in Tampa and all they wanted to do was damage the safe and it would be useless. I then went and saw Tyler at Affordable Lock and Security Solutions. He said let me work on it and see what we can do. I watched and he picked the lock and I got what items I still had in the safe out. He then took the key portion out and ended up making me keys that would work. His attitude was all about making it work and fixing it. He said it was a little challenging but that makes it interesting. As well as he charged me an extremely fair price. It actually was cheaper than I thought with all he did. I needed a new key fob for my Toyota Rav4 and didn't want to pay the exorbitant price that the dealership quoted me so I found Affordable Lock & Security Solutions on an internet search. I would HIGHLY recommend contacting Affordable Lock & Security Solutions if you live in the Tampa/St. Pete area (they have multiple locations) and are in need of a key fob for any vehicle for two primary reasons: customer service and price. The locksmith at the N. Florida Ave location, Tyler, is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable at his craft. They didn't have the key in stock so they placed an order for it and it arrived within a week. They called me when the key came in, and Tyler had it cut and programmed in less than ten minutes. I paid less than half of what the dealership quoted me and the entire process was quick and easy. Overall, a very positive experience!
