I’ve been searching for a reliable place for a duplicate transponder key for my Chrysler 300T, to avoid possible lockout situation. I called up a few stores who priced near $300. However, I bumped into Tyler/Chris who said he could do everything for $100 bucks. Chris did it in less than 20 minutes along with a free duplicate key & receipt for warranty, though I made him wait for half hour. Very friendly and professional guys!

I was locked out of my shed, it was a Sunday and I though for sure I would call and get a super high quote and delay. NOT AT ALL. I bought 2 keys for my 1998 Honda prelude, costed me $409 (I think it was waaaaaay to much). The locksmith name was Daniel, he was a cool guy but did not know what he was doing. The first night he can by took him an hour and a half just to get me one key. He had to return the next day to get me my other key luckly it only took about 30 minutes. The keys I did receive one of them (the ignition key) binds when I go to pull it out, the other key (door locks) surprisingly works fine. The dispatcher gave Mr. Daniel the wrong car, he said it was a Honda pilot, and because Daniel didn't have the right tools or key blank for a Honda prelude he said he'd have to come back the next day, I think it's totally fine... If it didn't take nearly 2 hours to figure out he couldn't do it. The next day when he showed up I was told I had to pay an additional $100 and since it's payment up I felt obligated into paying the extra charge, he also only brought one key blank for my car so if he messed up I wasn't getting my key that day. I don't know if anyone genuinely reads reviews but take it from me... Just go to an Ace hardware store that can cut car keys. The only reason I gave 3 stars was because Daniel was a good guy great to talk too, and I got my keys at the end of all of it. The whole ordeal felt extremely sketchy I genuinely thought I was gonna get scammed out of my money. If the company wants to make it up to me and fix my key that binds in the ignition I would be happy to give a better review but until then they do not deserve it.

I had never utilized locksmith services for a new lock/key to my home before and was pleasantly surprised how thorough Chris was and slowly walked me through what all was being done in the services conducted and how each item is priced. Over the phone they quoted me 35.00 service fee plus 25.00 for the labor and equipment fee. I was prepared to pay only $60.00. When the tech came Jacob he quoted me a total of $134.00. Completely out of my price range. He then took off the 35.00 service fee only if I write a review on my service. So the total I paid was $99.00. I’m very unhappy with the total price I was Obligated to pay. One day after my service the owner of the company contacted me. He reviewed the Prior call where I was quoted $60.00 not $134.00. He was very polite, genuine,and very respectful he refunded me the $39.

So very disappointed in this company!! It has been almost 2 months now and nothing has been done to resolve the issue with my key fob. I noticed within a week that something was wrong with the remote. When trying to lock or unlock my doors it would take about 2-3 clicks before it would work. As a matter of fact the day they made my key they were having problems with it and had to re program the key. Days went by and it only got worse, my panic alert suddenly started to go off with no reason, I contacted their office and spoke with Dave. He was very nice and scheduled for a technician to come out and look at my issue. Never got a call from the technician. I called Dave the next day and accused him of that I didn’t receive a call from the tech. I was not able to schedule for a technician to come out due to work schedule. Finally I had some time soo I called the office and once again never got a call from a technician. Waited all day and nothing! I called the office the next day in the morning and finally received a call from a tech. Lol the technician didn’t get to my place until 9-930 at night. WOW!! This is where it gets ridiculous! I told the tech right from the beginning what the issue was. WHY DID THIS GUY GO TO MY CAR AND PUT THE KEYS IN THE IGNITION LOOKED AT ME AND SHRUGGED HIS SHOULDERS AND SAID “THERE IS NOTHING WRONG!” I looked at this guy thinking “is he serious?” It was obvious that he DID NOT LISTEN TO ME! this really upset me! Long story short I explained and showed him the issue.. of course the issue happened about 2 -3 times while he was there. He said he had to call the office to see what he could do for me. Basically he said there was nothing he could do since my key was working and turned my car on. I was very upset and told him I would call the manager in the morning.- I am beyond feeling angry and disappointed. I selected this company out of many other lock and key companies because of the great reviews. I spent almost $300 on a key fob that does half the job it’s suppose to do! Today was the final straw, waited all day for the manger to meet up with my mechanic to get this issue resolved, no call no text NOTHING!! Dear God how hard is it to fix a key or reprogram a remote just to satisfy a customer that has been PATIENTLY WAITING?? Social media will know this company not as a good company but a very unreliable company that knows nothing about doing the right thing!!

Really great experience with Diamondback Lock. The operator on the phone even suggested trying a few other things before having a technician come out to save me money. My wife lost the key to her car late Sunday evening prior to going out to dinner with family from out of town. I called him Diamondback Lock and Key and they had a locksmith to my house in 30 minutes. The tech got to work immediately and got her car door open and the car unlocked without damaging the car. He made a key for the door but was unable to get the ignition to work because it was an odd ball year changeover. We ended up having to leave to meet our family from out of town. The tech called his boss and told him what happened after we left. The owner called us en-route to dinner and told us that he can't leave us hanging! I was blown away. I felt horrible having to leave the tech after he got to my house but he took it with grace. Then to have the owner call and tell us that he was personally going to make sure we get a key that night was mind blowing. I have never heard of that level of customer service. Due to our dinner we asked if he could come the next day. He showed up right when he said he would and made a key that worked for the door and ignition. 5 STAR SERVICE I know from our interactions that this company has a sterling reputation and work ethic. If someone gave them a bad review I would think it was fake.

I was working on my truck, and needed to remove the ignition lock cylinder. As I was trying to get it out, I somehow managed to seize it up so that I could no longer turn the key. I hated doing it, but in the end I was forced to give up and call a locksmith. As luck would have it, Diamondback Lock & Key was among the first in my Google search results, and I saw that they were open until 10 (this was right around 7:30 and the other shops I saw were closed at 5). I reached Eran (the business owner if I'm not mistaken) on the 2nd or 3rd ring. I explained what I was doing, and where I was with it. He asked me a few questions and offered a few sugestions to help me resolve the issue on my own. When I told him I'd already tried these, he offered to come out and take a look at it. I texted my address, and he was in my driveway 20 minutes later. He took the time to explain what he was doing while he worked, and in 10 minutes or so had the thing completely removed and back in working order. And did it all with a smile on his face and at no charge. Wouldn't even take the money for the service call. So you tell me, where else can you still get that kind of customer service? I've had just the one experience with these guys, but seriously, I'm now a customer for life.
